Had a 2 night break here with my husband and my dog. First room we got was a bit small and very hot. Asked for a fan but instead was given an upgraded beautiful huge room. The staff are a credit to the hotel, really can't do enough for you especially Megan she was wonderful. The food was delicious everything cooked fresh and lots of it. Great hotel with beautiful grounds, perfect for your dog. Only one little problem I came across. There's no doggy poo bins in the grounds.
Stayed 2 nights, room clean and comfortable. Dined in on the first night, food was delicious, portion sizes were large definitely overate!. Breakfast is a help your self buffet with a few options you need to ask for, one of those is the scrambled eggs and salmon, again a generous portion and very tasty. Looks as though they are refurbishing the place, a few slightly threadbare bits here and there, but you can tell large areas have recently been updated or repaired. Overall a good few days.
Enjoyed stay at this hotel booked through Groupon. Staff very friendly and helpful. The evening meal was excellent tho breakfast needs improving. No side plates for yr toast which went cold and hard very quickly. Had a good break tho and would probably go again.
