Nice venue. Nice stay. Nice staff. The carpark in and out is a little bemusing. As most went back out the same way. Could do with an up date.

Would definitely recommend. Beautiful surroundings and absolutely lovely lodge/hotel. Very welcoming staff and perfect for a short stay or a ceremony of any discription.

Hotel great 10/10… If you are on O2 or Three, reception is poor… Constant drum of local motorway is cancelled out by the good double glazing… Keenly priced… good breakfast.

It's ok. Honestly it's clean comfortable and the breakfast is good but I didn't feel like I was getting full value for my money.

Definitely a wedding venue as opposed to staying as an ordinary guest. We drove for 7.5 hours, for a wedding the next day. The room was very basic considering what we paid. There were teas and coffees, iron and ironing board, shampoo and body wash. The Wi fi in the main, was only accessible some time. We came down to have dinner but we're asked to wait as a wedding party was still in full flow. After half an hour we left to find a restaurant as we couldn't book a meal. The walls are thin but luckily the guests were quiet when returning to their rooms. I expected very little with regards to the reception the next day based on what I had experienced so far but was absolutely stunned at the venue room Beautiful. The grounds were also exceedingly well maintained and presented. The staff were courteous and quick and with mine host managing the proceedings everything went smoothly. So just be aware that the focus appears to be on weddings rather than an ordinary guest and the bedrooms are nothing to write home about but are very clean.

Had a lovely weekend here. The meals and people were really good. Excellent value for money.

Food lovely needs a 're vamp decor wise. Very clean.

Went on a Thursday for the steak night deal. I have to say, it was absolutely amazing 5 out of 5. I had been previously and that was great but 4 out of 5, the steak was a little dry. Since then, they have renovated the restaurant and the steaks somehow have reached perfection. Will definitely be going back again.

My friends and myself go each year for Christmas lunch. We booked several months ahead and have had up to this yr a good experience. We went yesterday met for drinks staff came to show us to our table. We were traipsed out of the front door across the car park carrying drinks bags gifts etc. On a winter's day no coats on to a garden room with 2 tables. Apart from a twig a fair in the corner and a cracker each. Not much Christmas cheer. Then lunch was served with roasties flying on the floor (not removed) when we complained about the trip accord the car park we were told we should have walked through another room but the diners told them we couldn't. They didn't ask us if we minded (average age 80). At £22 a head the food not much better than Wetherspoons £8.00 a head very disappointed all round won't be returning.

Enjoyed a fabulous Elton John Tribute night recently with colleagues. The Christmas meal was delicious and served very efficiently considering the large number of folk there. Nice surprise to see and hear Warrington Brass band playing carols too. Thanks to staff for looking after us so well and to "Elton". Fantastic night!

We got married here. An amazing venue. Hotel rooms are very comfy and clean. The food prepared by the chef is some of the best we've had.

Rooms okay, not amazing. Everything you need just didn't look and feel amazing. Stayed for a wedding, which was great. Seemed to run well and looked good too. Imagine it would be even nicer in the summer.

I visited Statham lodge the other day, I knew it was nice inside just never knew it was that nice! I was blown away! The staff were friendly and the food/service was fantastic!

Beautiful location with a well kept garden and traditional indoor setting. Food was lovely on the whole and the service was outstanding. Highly recommended.

Attended a wedding and party. Staff were very attentive to all requests made. Set in its own grounds and really nice to wander around in the sunshine. Very clean. Quick glance at the prices for a meal and very reasonable. If the wedding meal we had was anything to go by then you can't go wrong. Full marks all around.

The Place for Weddings and Family Dining on Special Occasions. Very picturesque, great to take a walk around the gardens after a meal. Excellent food and service. The place makes Sunday Lunch really special. Quaint bar area with various leather chairs about!

Requested steak rare but only option was medium or well done.

In beautiful surroundings, Statham Lodge Hotel is an excellent venue for all sorts of events but it's especially recommended for weddings. The staff provide excellent and friendly service, and the atmosphere is relaxed.

A great venue for events, beautiful gardens and a good size ball room. I visited to see a Lymm Festival event and it looked like the staff all worked hard to help and make the evening a success. I haven't stayed in the hotel so can't comment on the rooms or catering. Give it a go, it looks good.

Bed was quite uncomfortable and wasn't welcomed very well at the hotel. Wasn't told what time food was being served until or where. On a plus side the village a few minutes drive up the road had much to offer!

Didn't stay over night-there for private party. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Difficult for young children though — open fire, candles etc.

Absolutely brilliant setting for an occassion like weddings etc. Fantastic setting, beautifully decked out by the on site wedding arrangers, lovely food, and extremely helpful staff, rooms top standard, a great day and night was had by all. Thank you to everyone at Statham Lodge. *****.
