Absolutely stunning for relaxing and being with nature. Food first class well worth a visit.

Pathetic place to be for its location and connectivity. It's 5 miles away from the city and that too in a city that has buses with a frequency of 1 hr. It's 1 mile from the nearest bus stop. The place says it's got Wi-Fi, but it only works in the lobby not in the rooms. Beautiful for its country side. Nice scenary though.

I've been to two weddings here now and they have both been excelent! What they are able to do to the space is magical. The accommodation for guests is a little on the sparse side, but as we were there to celeb a loved ones wedding the room itself was unimportant!

Attended a wedding. Venue was beautiful set in gorgeous grounds. Staff seemed efficient and professional. Food was nice.

Room adequate, big clean bed, 6ft wide. Good shower and breakfast next morning great. Friendly staff.

It's so quiet and it has a new quiet lounge room. Sadly the computers have gone.

As always staying here has been amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff who go the extra mile to make sure you are ok! The place is very relaxing and peaceful and you are surrounded by nature and wildlife. Very simple yet elegant. Free breakfast which is amazing and is a must.

The staff are really exceptional! The room was a bit cold in January and the cleaners/chambermaids have different standards, one day your bed is made and all rubbish removed, the next it is how you left it, but very clean, no sign of cobwebs or dust anywhere! There currently is only Wi-Fi in the main building but they're working on it being available throughout. Generally a nice place to stay if you value peace and privacy.

Attended a wedding reception at this venue at the weekend. Not overly impressed with it… A very small bar with a limited range of drinks on offer and very little space to queue with a small number of staff meant people were waiting a long time for drinks. Also there were a very small number of toilets for guests to use; only 3 individual toilets as far as I could work out which again lead to queuing.

What a find. Lovely rooms, basic but perfect when you just want a bed for the night! Good prices and easy to find. On top of that my stay helps a worthwhile cause!

A fabulous, charming, warm, exemplary place that hosts incredibly good workshops and conferences whilst managing to be a perfect venue for celebrations of all kinds too. Fantastic, beautiful.

Lovely and cosy. Rooms were very clean and warm in a lovely location with nice garden areas. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Location was lovely. The rooms were much nicer than expected, small amount of dirt but not enough to not come back in the future. Definitely would stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was plenty spacious and clean. Good pressure from the shower. Breakfast plentiful, cereals, yoghurt and full cooked available. Lovely green, tree filled grounds to wander in after and before my long drive.

Honestly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. This was my favorite part of Wales/Chester, and I can't wait to come and visit again.

Excellent wedding venue, spacious outdoor areas with woods and a big swing, with lots of basic cabins nearby for when the celebrations are over. Good drinks selection, friendly staff and even a friendly kitten!

Everything was amazing. Clean, quiet, great food. I came with worries from the many bad reviews I had read but this place really was above and beyond my expectations.

We visited Trafford Park as a family for two nights. The rooms are chalet style and not attached to the main hall. They are located in beautiful well kept gardens. The chalets are basic, comfortable and clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent with good service. Trafford Hall is different from your usual sterile hotel and it is also a charity. I will be going back.

Simple clean rooms in a beautiful setting. Fantasic wedding venue, cozy and intimate. Reasonably priced.

Bed was big and the rooms are in a nice setting. However bathrooms were below average. Close to Centre of Chester. Taxi was £10 from Centre back to the accommodation. Free cooked breakfast was really nice.

Great place to stay with friendly staff, beautiful grounds and tranquil setting. Accommodation is comfortable and welcoming. A great place to get away from it all and to help a great cause at the same time.

We have now stayed three times, which should say something! Accomodation is in ECO chalets, but it says that on the website. They are perfectly adequate and offer all the necessary facilities. Breakfast is generous and staff seem to be capable of catering for most requests for something slightly different. And, at the end of the day, you are supporting a charity, not fattening up a huge corporation! We'll be back!

Working away great place to stay.

I was absolutely apauled with this hotel. Firstly after a long drive the person behind the reception desk was not helpful would rather talk to his colleague than serve, then we were told our rooms were outside! We got the key to the room, key didn't work! Got into the room to find there was dirt and dust all over the curtain poles, the carpet was dirty, there wasn't enough room to swing a cat let alone two people in a twin room, there was only one side light, no tv, the shower was tiny you could hardly stand in the shower and it was dirty, there was only one towel between two of us and the heating didn't work — it was freezing. When I went back to reception I stood for about 10 mins waiting for someone and then gave up as no one came along. The breakfast in the morning had warm milk for cereal and the yoghurts were not cold either, the bacon on toast was soggy! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Also on your site it looks lovely but looks are far away from reality That's just the tip of the iceberg!

I booked the venue for my mother over 70 shhhhhh and her friend 84 and they both really enjoyed there stay breakfast was excellent the staff could not do enough the rooms where warm anything you needed you just ask they get it very very tidy clean up to date and the both stayed there for five nights and will be stopping again very impressed with the place keep it up top marks to all the staff.

Great chalets that were roasting hot regardless of the sub zero temperatures outside. Extra blankets provided but not needed. Great shower if a little small. Lovely and quiet. Food was delicious, balanced and nutricious during our three day stay. Poached eggs were perfect! Excellent free Wi-Fi. Close to Chester too. Recommended.

Shabby chalets that are cold and in need of maintenance. Our bathroom radiator did not work and doors would it shut. No hair dryer or extra blankets. Very very basic.

A great place to stay with a generous breakfast. Only downside was the staff failing to let us know what facilities were available in the hall. Worth staying at.
