This pub is just amazing! Friendly staff and great food. If you go in the colder months they have a lovely fire, who's smell of burning logs adds to the coziness.

The food was delicious. While the burger itself wasn't the best I've ever had it was pretty good. The chips however, OMG they were perfect! Crunchy on the outside, soft and juicy in the middle. The outside tables are very nice and quiet. Actually the whole pub was really quiet and civilized. If you're more of a introvert like me you'll love this place. Inside it looks stellar, very classy.

Beautifully restored old hotel. Have been warmly welcomed and explained everything. For a hotel, which is located directly at the airport in a village it was very quiet. We had a room back in the yard and slept very well. Very cozy rooms. The service was perfect. In the evening in the restaurant delicious eaten. The breakfast was perfect and lovingly prepared. We like to come back.

Historical 900 year old Inn with great food and pub. Nicely renovated with still some old world charm. It’s 15 minutes by cab or Uber from Airport. Worth the few extra few minutes than the chains are. Also 10 minute Uber to Windsor Castle.

A really nice historic pub with friendly service. Lots of interesting things to see if the decor. The food was very nice, but a little of the expensive side. The drinks are not expensive as well. Worth it for a treat though.

Have stayed here twice handy location. Rooms lovely and refurbished. Lovely atmosphere and really good breakfast cooked by someone who cares. Why stay in a big brand hotel for more money.

Quaint Inn with very friendly staff. The food tastes good. Roast dinner on a Sunday. The Eaton Mess was a winner. The orange velvet curtains in our room were a certain winner. The phone signal was poor unfortunately.

Stopping down here in a local hotel, had a walk out for a meal and called in, food fantastic, and service with a smile. Great old quaint pub. Definitely recommend to anyone passing or thinking about it. ☺

Had a lovely Xmas family lunch, food was absolutely lovely and staff were realy lovely, friendly, happy smiling and very helpful a very big thumbs up to them all.

Christmas dinner for 6 at the Ostrich. Food was fantastic, customer service was brilliant. Would highly recommend this for anyone wanting a lovely meal in the third oldest Inn in England.

Found the food here very nice and some different things on the menu compared with usual pub food — I had my first pigeon!

Went for a Christmas party, the food was amazing. Freshly cooked and they even managed crispy roast potatoes. We were in a room to the side of the bar and it was lovely and cosy. Service was good and fast. Definitely go there again.

Great pub and accommodation, modern twist to a very old pub, very friendly staff and great Value for money rooms.

Been here many times as my work is just down the road. Nice pub, food menu changes every season. In winter it's lovely sitting at a table near the fire. Friendly staff, plenty of parking.

3. Oldest pub (INN) in England… good food. Nice atmosphere…

Surprisingly cosy for such a large exterior. Without doubt the best rack of ribs I have ever had in London and a generous portion. If there is any negative it's that the refurbishment has been so successful it really doesn't feel like the third oldest pub in the UK. Highly recommended if you are in the area. Great pub. Good selection of beers. The food looked really good, not that we ate here.

Lovely old place! Evening meals are good pub food at reasonable prices and the breakfast is great. Excellent service from cheerful staff. Noisy at times until flights stop but beds are comfy and bedrooms are well decorated and mine had a top class shower room.

Very nice service and reasonably priced food! Large selections of beer and other drinks. Have a nice beer patio as well if the weather is ever dry enough in this country!

I've been here before for lunch and was great. This time I came for a family dinner, well not that great. A long wait service, next to us 2 charming ladies arrived before us and there were still waiting for their coffee when we left, 2h from when we arrived.

A real gem of an inn on the old route in to London from the West. The inn has real deep routed history and displays it well too. While a little pricey I'd happily stop here rather than anywhere else. I can't vouch for the food but the drinks and surroundings are blissful and very interesting.

Classic British pub, really old but lovely interior. Excellent pub food, reasonable prices and large servings. Lovely staff too!

Very nice in. Great service, gorgeous rooms and good food. Only downpoint was the one hour wait for food (even though the waitress admitted that they were quiet that night). I ordered one course at 6.50pm, and was looking forward to watching the 8pm movie back in the room. It was 8.20pm when I finally got back to room. Also was confusion over what I actually owed. My food bill was £25 and they tried to charge me £38! After a long wait, they said it was a confusion over the room charge. Couldn't fault it as an inn at the price, but would probably just order out if I stayed again. Nearly lapsed into a coma waiting to eat.

Needed to take a long walk from Hilton and accidentally found this gem. Wow, super quaint, clean, British pub and beer garden. The warm sun bathed the garden, beer great and my dinner (chicken sandwich) was just five stars. Service super friendly. Enjoyed watching massive planes fly by landing at Heathrow. Great place only 15 minute beautiful walk into cute friendly town. Great.

Myself and two friends visited for some food. Lovely little pub just off the main street. If the weather were warmer we would have sat outside. We all had burgers, very nicely cooked. Not one of us could finish it all. (and the chips) it got very busy, very quickly, so must be held in high regard locally. Will visit again if I'm in the area any time soon.

Great Pub and Hotel. Very close to Heathrow, but easy parking. Great food and Pub. Ancient Pub with lots of history! Our last night in the U. K. And I can't imagine a better place to stay!

This place was brilliant. There were 12 of us (including three small kids) and we got a private room which was ideal. Food was really good and well priced as well. Very much recommend.

Just Great! Very tasty food. Can only recommend it. Thumbs up!
