The bedrooms have amazing decor. The beds are extremely comfortable!
The manager and all her staff are more than helpful in every way!
I would recommend the Peartree Lodge to anyone who is looking for quality with a relaxed and wonderful atmosphere! Once you are there, you will never want to leave!

A very beautiful clean hotel near canal, marina and major amenities. Friendly and helpful front desk staff and a very handy English pub restaurant. I highly recommend.

Partner and I stayed here last night (16.11.19) had a brilliant nights sleep. Fantastic view over the marina and canal. Lovely and clean. Pleasant staff. Would definitely recommend and return.

Not sure if it’s changed hands but the quality of the food wasn’t as good as on previous visits very disappointed as looked forward to it.

We requested a first floor room with a view of the marina and we weren't disappointed, always clean tidy has everything you need from shower gel and shampoo, to a little fridge to keep items cold, which we always love, staff always appear happy in their work and attentive to customers needs.
The restaurant next door does lovely food, staff also very friendly and helpful. On a lovely sunny day you can walk up the canal or sit and watch the canal boats pass by. Only a short drive into mk itself for shopping or restaurants.

This is a very nice place. I like the fact that no one gets in unless you're called to verify, or you have to meet them in the lobby and bring them up. I found the staff to be very friendly. The only thing that I didn't like was the stairs. I'm from the US and I'm use to having an elevator and airconditioners. The fan was nice and it kept the room comfortable. All in all I give them 5

This review is specifically about the restaurant. Since being renovated, it's got a much more sensible layout. Food is excellent value, with buffet style breakfasts and carvery style lunches on offer. Nice views of the canal boats. Be wary of the water edge with young children if wandering around outside.

A clean basic hotel, with an attached cheap carvery type pub right on the canal and marina, with great views over the water, boats and wildlife. It's a quiet enough spot to get a good night's sleep. Definitely a budget hotel, no frills, no Aircon, (although a fan was provided) and quite dated. The pillows were a bit too tough and tall but all in all a decent spot for a cheaper night's stay. Also there is plenty of on site parking.

Great affordable hotel. Friendly 24hr concierge. Altogether brilliant rooms, and great service. Situated next door to an eatery so if you don't want to travel you can eat next door. Also great waterside views. Have stayed a couple of times, would definitely recommend.

Very nice location. Helpful staff and good food for good price. Atmosphere is lovely. You can go for nice walk around water or to the park. Free parking and Wi-Fi. Restaurant with breakfast option available. Good choice of beer.

Had a very pleasant room overlooking the narrow boat marina. Staff were welcoming and helpful and parking was on-site and plentiful. Overall would recommend to anyone.

Easily accessible from M1. Extensive free car parking. Large ensuite rooms with comfortable beds and all standard amemities, including: iron and ironing board, hair dryer TV, fridge, tea making facilities, fan, shampoos and body washes. Connecting rooms available. Adjoins a pizza restaurant with large sports bar. Nice situation on canal banks. Peaceful and quiet. (My wife saw a woodpecker in the canal bank trees as we parked our car). You may wish to bring some appropriate food to feed the swans and Canada Geese who come your bedroom window, if you are on the ground floor. (Not sure what swan and goose food you can arm yourself with, but they seemed to relish sausage roll). Despite the apparent convenience of the neighbouring bar, I suggest after you have seen their clientele you may wish to go to Ye Olde Swan pub for dinner — a 10 min walk across the canal via a nice walk through The Green.

Took this hotel as normal one fully booked and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. Staff friendly. Nice bar area. Can sit outside on a hot day and sit at the canal nice touch.

Great find. Rooms a little basic and dated but very clean and has what it needs… some people did not recommend this place but it was all the wrong reasons I think… as we found the place far better than all the impression people had given us. It is not a typical modern hotel to make it clear if that's what u want. and best part is the great views from the room of the Marina Bay and some wonderful areas to stroll by the canal. The cafe pub next door is a great place to take a drink and sit by the Marina to relax. Great staff too and the best is the Indian takeaway next door which serves super freshly made food. All in all great choice to stay… unless you get prices over 100… then rethink options.

Great staff, Great carvery which isn't expensive nice clean rooms, a good view if in odd number room not so good if even number. Overall one of the better places to stay.

First time we stayed and we loved it great room, lovely power shower and the decor was lovely everything matched very well through out, fridge in room was a nice touch too, and most of all we had a lovely sleep which is what its all about. Well done to all staff you should be proud x defo recommend and stay again in the future x.

Very clean and tidy, friendly welcome and comfy bed. Convenient location for the town centre and surrounding amenities.

Went there for my 25th birthday meal with my family. 5 adults and 3 kids under 3. The most horrific experience of my life. Had to choose 3 times on meal choice because they didn't have our first 2 sets of choices. The food was ordered wrong by staff. There were staff clearly saying they were going to smoke. We waited nearly an hour for our subpar, incorrect food. The carvery meat was dry. There were no chips or ketchup. All in all absolutely disgusted by this place.

Excellent place to stay. Staff helpful and friendly. Chips for breakfast… who could ask for more.

Fantastic night stay, room lovely and clean and a lovely view of canal. A special Thank you to Mouika who lent us a broom to get rid of all the snow on the car. Will return.

On arrival at the hotel and the room were great, but the restaurant was poor. We stayed b&b but was sadly disapointed, as you would expect to have soft bevrages to be included in the price. Also the plates we're dirty. Will never stop there again I would not recamend this to any of my friends.

The lodge has been redecorated and done up recently and it looks really good inside. Nice atmosphere. Food was okay, nothing special but tasty and cooked. (Had a carvery) Staff service was poor with no greeting.

We've stayed here a couple of time and no doubt we'll stay again. The rooms are fine and comfortable. The staff are polite and friendly. The breakfast arrangements are a bit weird, your backwards and forwards getting crockery and cutlery, cereal and juice from one area of the bar and then have to go across to the eating area for tea, coffee, toast and cooked breakfast, very disjointed and needs to be in one central area. I was told by the staff it was because they only had one till which is fixed at the bar. Speak to a IT firm and they could move connections. The evening meal choice is very lack-lustre, probably because the local clientele are from the nearby estates who prefer to eat burgers and pizza's. Thankfully, there is a lovely country pub in the next village a short walk from the hotel. Great food, really varied choice, and drinks and reasonable prices. We ate there twice over the weekend.

Very quick and easy check in/out. Room was very clean and quiet. I would happily stay there again. About a 5 min drive to the centre or you can walk it in about 25 mins.

The service was quick and the staff were very attentive and polite. All in all a great day out =)

Want to start off by saying the staff here are absolutely LOVELY! Really friendly, inviting environment even when we checked in late at night. My favourite part about this place is that they don't skimp on soaps which, in my experience, has lacked a lot in former hotels. The bed is HUGE and the double room was a decent size. Cute view of the canal boats from the window and heated towel rack was a nice touch. My one and only gripe was that the place seemed to need a bit of a refurb although it's noticeable that the place is very well kept. Would definitely stay here again, keep up the good work!

I was here for a few days and I had a good visit. The staff was very welcoming and went a long way towards making my stay pleasant. The hotel itself is a bit basic (the doors use actual keys, for example), and it's located far away from anything or anywhere useful, but it's next to a marina so there are some nice views to be had. There is also a restaurant next door and again feels fairly basic in there, like a pub that's a bit nicer than your dingy local. Again though, the staff more than makes up for the facilities, and the food does not disappoint either. The hotel offers free breakfast through the restaurant, I didn't like the bacon although the rest of the spread was great. If you're driving it's not bad spot, otherwise you might want a place that's located close to local amenities.

I have never been so insulted in my life. I was rudely awoken by the manager. Accused of smoking canabis in my room; when I told her that I have never taken it or any other illicit drug she said I was lying. She said if I didn't vacate her property she would call the police, which I invited her to do numerous times. She is an aweful person let alone manager. I would give her name but when I asked her for it she removed her name badge and hid in the back office. Very professional. She has cost her company around £8000 in revenue as all of my team have been accomodated in another hotel. Disgusted.

Thoroughly enjoyed my long stay at Pear tree lodge Milton Keynes. Excellent staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Clean room with brilliant view! Definitely be back and highly recommend!

Came for our anniversary night out in MK, staff were fantastic, room was clean, bed very comfortable and the room had a fantastic view over the marina. Would highly recommend.

The cleaners have no consideration with the limit of sound they make from 7 am you can hear them talking and laughing amoung themselves not to mention this carried on from here until around 2pm! Besides that it's not that bad.
