Really good location. Stayed here many times. Great night life with good selection of restaurant’s, fantastic place.

The toilet didn't work very well and the air conditioning was barely adequate. A table fan helped with the cooling. After the first night, I asked for the toilet to be repaired. When I came back for the night, someone had worked on it, but after many flushes, it still wasn't clearing. Reception allowed me to move to a new room. One problem fixed… but the air conditioning in the new room effectively had two settings: quiet but no airflow or EXCEPTIONAL LOAD with a little air flow but no real cooling. The room was to warm at a lower, quieter setting. Earplugs I dug out of my luggage from an international flight were uncomfortable. Ah! I remembered there was a fan in the closet! I turned on the lights, pulled the fan out and… it's broken! I finally decided just to put the fan on the lower setting, sleep on top of the sheets, and hope for the best. I needed a good shower in the morning… I asked to be moved to a third room. Finally, AC that worked, with a fan that was normal + a working toilet! The shower blasted a huge amount of water but the tub drained slowly, so there were several inches of water in the tub by the time I finished showering. The two wall-mounted bed lamps we're burned out. But I was just happy that I could sleep! A colleague had a pproblem-free room. Staff was generally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. But three rooms with problems make we wonder about their maintenance program and will make me think twice before staying there again.

Booked a family room for 2 adults, 1 child. However, room provided was for 2 adults. Only replacement available was a king-size bed. Not ideal. The problem was a computer error, not staff. Front office staff showed their booking was for 2 adults and my booking confirmation showed 2 adults plus 1 child.

Nice room overall, good breakfast and dinner options. Bathroom sink was draining very slow for me. But everything else was fine.

I'm sure this hotel is normally ok, but I had a night booked while there was a local awards ceremony taking place in the restaurant. Restaurant and bar were closed, room service should have been available but wouldn't answer the phone and hotel was very noisy until 11. Duty manager not available to speak to when I wanted to complain.

Centrally located hotel, 5 minute walk from the shopping centre and with easy transport to local activities. Decent rooms and well priced. Basic buffet breakfast.

All round good modern hotel. Light and airy. All staff very helpful. Always here when in Milton Keynes.

A great Holiday Inn, the rooms are spacious and well kept. I found all the staff very friendly too, an absolute pleasure. One of the big sells of the hotel is the large bar atrium area.

Quite like this Holiday Inn, close to the city centre and easy to get to plus park at. The main area is open and airy which is quite nice. Rooms are pretty standard Holiday Inn fair, quite spacious and well set up. Would stay here again if around Milton Keynes.

I have recently stayed in Holiday Inn in Manchester which wasn't great so I was a bit sceptical, However this Holiday Inn is great. The location is great (if you are visiting the Xscape for snowing like I was), its very clean, the staff is very polite and friendly and overall its a good value. The breakfast is £14.95 per person and it is worth it, good selection of foods and coffee /tea. Overall would stay again if in MK.

I can't speak to the rooms here as we only go to take my daughter swimming. It has a small pool and gym, with a little steam room and sauna. The pool and changing rooms needquite a lot of work done — cold shower, freezing aircon, broken baby table and hair dryers that have been out of action for months. However; there are signs some things are being done. The hotels location is great though; you are close enough to be central but not on top of everything if you want a quieter night. Good for weekly commuters.

Lively and lovely hotel. Close to everything and absolutely first rate staff. Best in town to be sure.

When visiting the Holiday Inn for a training event, we found that the place was kept really clean and tidy. The staff were incredibly hospitable. The food quality for the main meals was excellent, with super flavours high above the expected standard. Refreshments provided were super as well. And all the stuff seems to be willing to go above and beyond to help with even the smallest detail.

Second stay here. Lovely staff. Spotless room. Tasty food x will use it again.

The heating was not working well. We had a cold.

Lovely double room with lots of extras and a great location. The only thing I would say is that for the New Year event, table service for dinner would be better as we had to wait in a long queue for one person serving all the food.

I have stayed here twice. First time round my room was excellent, and I was on my own. Recently, I booked a room with 2 beds. On arrival I found out I had been given a free room upgrade for being a member. However, this room smelt badly of smoke and didn't have two beds. Instead of giving me another room with two doubles beds, I was moved to a twin room that sadly, wasn't in great condition. I am sure there were other rooms available that I could have been moved to. Having said that, it was a complimentary upgrade so I shouldn't complain too much. During both stays I have had good breakfast, staff have been pleasant, and it is a 5 minute walk to all the restaurants in the centre. Gym is average, but did the job for a couple of short workouts to tide me over.

The rooms were nice, and as you would expect. The addition of the steam room in the health spa was good. In the room there was a card saying that if you had forgotten an item, toothbrush, conditioner etc, that if you ask at reception they would provide you with the appropriate bits. I forgot conditioner and asked and the girl at reception said that they didn't have any. This was irritating seeing as it clearly stated that they had items available. Breakfast was good, however the addition of gluten free sausage options would have been nice.

Well equipped, rooms maybe a little small for a 4 star.

The staff are always welcoming in this hotel. The rooms are getting a bit dated now (particularly the bathrooms), but the rooms was spotlessly clean. Brilliant location for the shops.

Great hotel. Nice staff. Good rooms. Breakfast was good too, but more veggie options need to be considered, like sausages for example. Travelodge in London had loads of veggie and vegan choices.

Room was very nice, reasonably priced. Location was perfect for our visit. Breakfast had a great variety and was freshly cooked, loads of fruit and cereal to choose from. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good central location. Lovely executive room. Liked the bar area. Felt more upmarket than some Holiday Inns. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Recommended!

The venue is well placed, and the room and facilities were beautiful and comfortable. Only a rather mediocre quality breakfast kept this from 5 stars. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great place to stay with an exceptional staff. They will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. The location is Paramount and this hotel delivers. If you're staying Milton Keynes for whatever reason this is the place to stay.

Executive room was reasonable size, clean and facilities were in good condition. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very clean, bright and welcoming. The staff is polite and friendly. I've been attending a literature event and enjoyed it.

Very loud wedding party. Large hen party also there. But staff helpful. Bar food arrived very quickly.

Carpet on the floor in the rooms… It's going to be time to stop. Window door cannot be opened. Breakfast very good, staff very helpful.

Stayed in Room 208 on a night where the day was 30 degrees outside. The air con in the room wasn't working and the could only offer is fans to circulate the got air. We was told all other rooms were no better but the corridors and reception was lovely and cool. The air con fan sounded like a airplane taking off Everything else was great. But in this heat meant a terrible night sleep.

Was staying here for a gathering of friends. Good location. Parking available though cheaper to park in the cheap rate public parking in the adjoining car park. Rooms were comfy and nice, though our room had no external Windows looking into the central lobby area. If you want an external window with asking on booking. Breakfast was good. Overall good stay.

The member if the reception team called Tobi was shockingly rude and condescending. I have observed him before being rude to other guests in the past but to receive his treatment on this visit made me feel like I was an inconvenience to his shift. He blames his ill manners on the fact that English isn't his first language and that he can't understand me. However his face confirms he knows exactly what he's saying. With rolling of the eyes as he says things. If he does not possess the skill or ability to communicate effectively he should not be in this role. Due to his conduct we (3 in our party) did not have dinner, drinks or breakfast at the hotel. Tobi is now losing you money Holiday Inn.

Quiet room. Very clean and tidy. Great central location in Milton Keynes. Staff very helpful and polite. Very happy with my stay here.

Nice rooms, staff were polite. Only complaint was when we asked for a Baylies we only got a 25ml measure, it should have been a 50ml.

Good hotel in central Milton Keynes. Like most things in MK, very new. Close to a good set of bars and restaurants. Nice central atrium showing Sky sports. Ask for free parking — they will charge you £0 if you ask!

Rooms are clean, modern and nicely furnished. Breakfast was delicious with good selection, can't go wrong with English breakfast. On the downside, the bed wasn't very comfortable and the linens were somewhat scratchy. Internet is horribly slow for the free Internet. Borderline unacceptable in this day and age.

Ordered and adults fish & chips but manager at the bar delivered kids portion. When we explained the error he didn't speak a response just took it away without an apology. The bar girl did say sorry when she delivered the correct portion but not a great attirude from the manager whom we didn't see again!

Holiday in Melton Keynes. Fantastic facilities, friendly staff. Room was amazing so spacious and comfortable felt like home from home. Close extremely close to the intu centre my.

Clean hotel centrally located with good food and facilities. Let down a little by a few small issues like no heating control (rooms were cold overnight), Wi-Fi connectivity problems and expensive parking.

The hotel at Milton Keynes is in an excellent position for shopping. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel has good leisure facilities. The rooms are always clean and well maintained. Restaurant food is lovely.

I use Holiday Inn to take my child swimming. The pool is great, though the parking leaves something to be desired.

Used this hotel whilst travelling for work near by. Everything as you expect from a hotel.

The breakfast is great, the gym is brilliant for a hotel gym and the staff are really friendly.

Room was ok, but it was very noisy from the downstairs bar. Half of the rooms face a large atrium and are hardly isolated from sound. Bad stay, won´t return.

Stayed here for a night last weekend, hotel was nice, room was big and good location for the hub, would stay again.

Having stayed a number of times, the comfort and quality are always consistent, and puts it leagues ahead of your usual budget hotels.

I never really write reviews but thought I would today, as people only tend to complain and never praise. Staff really friendly and helpful, all of them the reception, bar staff, waitress, and cleaners. Room spotless and the Hotel, really good food and nothing to much trouble. Thanks again to all.

Rooms are a bit tatty and would do well with a serious refurbishment. 4 stars? Come-on AA, you can do better than that.

Simply a great hotel in the heart of the city. You can buy from there from super and are close to many restaurants. Easy lace :).
