Review of Homestay Hotel Heathrow 3*

The staff are very friendly and the location of this hotel is good for both the underground and train station but that unfortunately is where the positivity ends. We stayed in one of their family rooms. The bed was two beds pushed together. There was a large brown leather sofa bed which had been pulled out however this was obviously broken as the base of another bed had been shoved underneath the end of it which was higher than the actual sofa, this resulted in the middle legs of the sofa bed dangling in mid air. Only one side of the bed had a lamp and the lamp shade was broken. There was a 50" flat screen TV on the wall on a movable bracket but we were unable to get more than 2 channels to work up until approximately 11:30pm at which point we could get 8. The blind on our window was made of a mesh type material which could be seen through from the street outside. We ended up taking the armrest cushions from the sofa bed and stacking them on the windowsill to try and get some sort of privacy. On first glance the bathroom looked ok however there was a dirty towel on the floor of the walk in shower, the shower head leaked and was running down the shower hose resulting in mould. Our room was located next to their bar which nobody actually used during our stay but at 2am the staff decided they wanted a party of their own… There was laughing, shouting and screaming which obviously meant we were unable to sleep. I don't think I need to say this but we shall not be staying there again!
