I think it is absolutely disgusting how you treat your future customers. We booked to stay at your hotel last year and due to covid the wedding got moved to this year. We have contacted you many times asking for a refund as you couldn’t accommodate the new day we need, now we are loosing £300 for 2 hotel rooms we aren’t even using a room that you could easily fill up and when we contact you via email you don’t even respond haven’t responded since the 5th of March. Even when we call we don’t get a reply. It’s disgusting & now we can’t go to the wedding because who has an extra £300 to spend on another hotel when one hotel is keeping our money? Oh yeah. You guys because you won’t give us our money back. It’s disgustingly, disgraceful and quite frankly in this climate where people have lost jobs & all the hardship people have been through it’s appalling.

Excellent friendly welcome and service. Gorgeous food at unbelievably affordable prices, in a setting that is second to none. Highly recommend a visit, and I will definitely return.

Just put our lunch order in and what an incredibly rude man behind the bar.

— impatient because we didn't know what part of the garden we were sitting in — to the extent I had to ask him to stop having a go because I haven't been here before.
— arsey because my husband didn't know how the card machine works. he won't be winning any prizes during customer service week… Let's hope our burgers are worth it… update: burgers are very good but shan't come back to a place where the bar manager is rude to customers and also his staff who work so hard and are incredibly professional.

Great fun Sunday, paddle boarding and food afterwards which was very tasty, ordered and delivered quickly outside, so great scenery and reasonably priced food.

Attended a wedding here and it was a stunning event. Beautiful setting on the Thames and incredible interior decor. The staff were really lovely, helpful and couldn't be more accommodating.

Popped in as a family of 4 to their cafe/bar which is still open during the big refurb. We have a 3 year old and a 10 month old, they were pretty busy but I really wasn’t impressed with the service. They say children are welcome but there was nothing for our 3 year old to eat. All the sandwiches had mustard or similarly unsuitable toddler fillings and my request for a simple cheese or ham sandwich was met with an exasperated look and the reply ‘everything we’ve got is over th…ere in the fridge’, I explained why I was asking and got a huffy ‘that’s all we’ve got’ I said well I’ll have to put everything else back then and he just watched me put all our drinks and adult sandwiches back, pack the baby back into the car seat and leave. With hindsight I assume this is because they are not prepared on site, but this only occurred to me on our drive to the waterfront cafe at Benson which by the way is lovely and welcoming. A little empathy and an explanation would have gone a long way. Don’t advertise ‘children welcome’ if you don’t have anything there for them.

Poor service. Bar staff more concerned with washing up. Sandwiches mediocre. Poor choice of Ales. Relies too much on its setting which is good. Staff and food need to improve their act once renovations are done.

The streatley hotel was a wonderful experience from the clean comfy rooms to the kind and helpful staff. I recently stayed overnight with my girlfriend and we both enjoyed every minute the views we amazing from he thames. We hope to come visit soon.

Stunning venue with brilliant staff. Half of the building still under refurb, but that caused no issues during our stay and we had a superb weekend break. Will definitely be back!

We Booked on line at their website, paid for the up grade for top floor room. They mentioned about the renovations and said the restaurant was closed but a continental breakfast was available. We arrived through the afternoon checked in. The local area and the bar were excellent. We had a great meal over the river in a small pub. The room was excellent. BUT When we wake up and look for the continental breakfast, yes it's available pre-packed and yes you have to pay extra. I approach the receptionist who bluntly said "that is the way it is" After arriving home in Australia I had the pleasure to travel to New Zealand, stayed in a serviced apartment a hell of a lot cheaper then the upgrade room at the Swan, they supplied continental breakfast for $12 which when added to the accommodation was still a lot cheaper the the Swan at 150 pounds with NO Breakfast. The owners/operators/managers need to sharpen their act. They are after all in the hospitality industry How to take the shine off a great location, treat people like the Swan Hotel treats the customers. not a happy camper.

I visited the Swan about a year ago for dinner. The food, service and ambiance was beautiful. What a stunning place to enjoy a beautiful meal in with a loved one.
I recently visited the Swan again for an outdoor cinema experience. Wow, wow, wow. This was so much fun. Food and drinks were available, a waiter greeted my friends and I almost immediately. The setting was stunning and the of Swan swimming past really added to the experiences. Would definitely go again.

I came on Saturday for a late lunch with a friend, I had a chicken kale caesar salad and whilst eating it I spotted a small green dot on a piece of chicken. I wasn't sure if it was just greenery but it was also underneath the skin and I thought it might be mould. I didn't want to return it as I wasn't sure and it was still in date plus I didn't really want to make a scene so I just stopped eating it. However unfortunately on Saturday night, having not ate anything other than a cheese and tomato pizza for dinner I was sick and I'm pretty sure it was the chicken. I know I should have said something at the time but like I said I wasn't 100% sure and didn't want to make a scene. However I would hate for anybody else to experience this as it did really taint what could have otherwise been a lovely afternoon in a nice setting.

Very tired decor and shabby throughout… Toilet wouldn't flush properly, water took an age to heat up, towels, bedding and the room in general smelled musty, breakfast was cold and not very tasty. All the decent seats outside the bar area were reserved leaving only bistro style uncomfortable seats … On the plus side? The staff were friendly and the setting of the hotel itself was a beautiful location
Would I go back? No afraid not.

I went to the swan playing ingress. I never walked in, although it looked very nice from the outside. We smashed it, and used it as an anchor to make a150000 mind unit field. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely hotel. Had a nice refurbished room, though were promised a bath but only had shower. Really good shower though. Clean room. Lovely village. Great breakfast and a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. Amazing location right on the water.

Love it here! Gorgeous, super comfortable rooms, friendly staff and food is delicious! Only slight criticism is the shower — the curtain across the bath is old and stained and keeps sticking to your body as you try and shower! I think a glass door would be much better.

Got to go to the Boat House Deli & Cafe attached to the hotel. Fantastic light meals and good coffee. Great, proper toasted sandwiches and awesome salads. Healthy breakfasts too.

Though hotel is good and at very nice location, still I can't give more than this rating. Deposit-refund process is extremely bad. Its 20th day, but still I'm waiting for refund in my account.

Just returned from a two day stay at the swan hotel. Absolutely lovely! great location, comfortable and very clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff and beautiful restaurant with lovely views and great food.

Nice hotel, Room had the squeakiest floor boards I've ever come across, but was clean and well presented.

The beauty room is terrible. I had a voucher and have been ringing up all year. Probabley about 30 times in total. Today I really needed my nails done and thought that I could finally use my voucher. I rang 15 times throughout the day and no one was available to speak to me. I then got in my car and drove down, when I got there I was turned away being told that the lady was in an appointment and couldn't talk. Im sure the beauty lady is perfectly good but the whole thing is run really badly and to be honest I'm surprised that they get any customers at all.
