Fantastic stay — perfect room and hosts. Highly recommended.

Once again had a superb meal and service at the Queens Arms on 2nd. Sept.
Lovely little country pub well worth a visit so much so we make an effort to return this way on our way home even if we are not staying local.
Their own brewed beer is also excellent.

Spent the week in Litton and visited here quite a few times for food and drink.
The menu has food to suit everyone and is fabulous, the pub has a micro brewery and the beer is absolutely spot on.
Very friendly staff who did everything to welcome us.
Would recommend the queens arms very highly if you are around this part of Yorkshire.

A warm welcome and amazing food.

Excellent, home made, traditional, English food. Beer brewed on site in their micro brewery. Good service from friendly people.

First visit since before lockdown, way back beginning of the year, visited today, absolutely brilliant, food 5 * hosts 5 *, can't wait to go back, open fire, traditional pub, well done covid precautions in place. Highly recommend.

Although I have not visited the pub, I must let people know the extra mile Michelle and the staff go to. My dad had a dizzy spell whilst visiting the Queens with my mum, Michelle kept in touch with myself and took great care of my parents whilst waiting for paramedics. Great hospitality from people who genuinely care. Many Thanks.

Stayed in the area for a weeks holiday and was recommended this pub. The Lamb brewing Co beer was great, takeaway food and Sunday lunch fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful, highly recommend.

Staying locally for a weeks break & was recommended the Queens Arms, Absolutely loved the Sunday lunch, food was tasty & good portions for the 3 courses we had, lovely welcoming staff & a bonus to be Dog friendly, would 100% recommend a visit.

One of the best pubs in the Dale's shut today but hopefully open again very soon cheers.

Superb Sunday lunch today. My roast beef was lovely and hubby enjoyed his lamb pie. However, special mention has to go to the fantastic chips that came with his pie. Uber crispy outside and fluffy like a cloud on the inside. Genius.

Fab little pub that is dog friendly. Great food, cosy rooms, great atmosphere and perfect location for walking. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing food — three substantial courses for Sunday lunch for just £19.95. Best roast I have had in ages. Staff were very attentive.

Fabulous pub in absolutely picture postcard location with great home cooked food.

My Family and I have just spent a week in Littondale and have visited the Pub on all but two of these days. All the staff have been super friendly, hospitable and efficient (sometimes difficult to achieve). The food is top pub food and tonight’s Lamb Pie (with mash and mushy peas) is easily the best pie I have had in years. It’s been a pleasure to have drunk and eaten here and may I wish them all every success in the future and recommend to any in or near the area to pay a visit.

The food is second to none and the welcome is just as good. Very highly recommended.

High quality food in a casual pub setting. Booking is essential as everybody says this is THE place to eat around here and it seems always busy. Staff were all helpful and welcoming. Thought maybe it was a little pricey in comparison to other places nearby which I thought were just as good, but would still strongly recommend as it is very nice.

Very friendly staff, cosy room, albeit on the small side, with on-suite and complementary home made biscuits! Only disadvantage is that it's an old house and not soundproofed and the pub has a few noisy punters.

Out of they but one of the best pubs in Yorkshire. Great food (especially the fish and chips) great ale and fantastic views. Landlord is as friendly as you can get.

Wonderful cosy country inn with lovely views on a very quiet road. Host Stephen was so friendly and made us so welcome on our two night break. Be back soon. Great real ales and good food.

Stayed last night for a birthday treat after a walk in the dales. On arrival was greeted by Steve who knew by name (me fb hounding him but always replied asap). Who offered us drinks before showing us to our room. Explained everything to us then left us to enjoy our room. Gawjus room great service at the bar after a fab shower and clean clothes Enjoyed drinks outside in the sun before food in the restaurant (didn't book Steve had already penciled us in by my fb request lol but no obligation to stay).
Great meal and service. Fab nights sleep amazing comfy beds duvet and pillow. A joy to wake to the barring lambs then downstairs to a home cooked breakfast and lots of non cooked breakfast offerings.
Loved Steve sense of humour at breakfast time (and throughout the stay) I mean who orders a full English and then does 10 withouts.
Keep doing what your doing. My 1st stay in the beautiful dales. And would deifintley stay here again without a doubt. Take care x.

Great food great beer great atmosphere. Fab village and the pub deserves all plaudits. Pubs especially like this need all the support we can muster. It's a quintisential English pub. There's 10 of us and the service plus excellent choice of food draws us whenever we're in the area.

Tiny but warm atmosphere, great service and awesome food.

Friendly staff and the food is definitely nommy. I wish we'd been able to look around the village but it was late by the time we got there. It's quite small with only a bar (small) and second small room for dining. So might be an idea to book especially if it's a busy season. Definitely worth it and the staff are really lovely and friendly.

The room I dined in was very nice although a little cold. The food was decent and reasonably priced. The drinks were unusually underpriced compared to most other pubs which was nice.

What a wonderful little pub in such a beautiful location serving the most delicious food with super friendly staff. I have never we had lamb shank that tasted so beautiful and that was so tender. And the sticky toffee pudding was to die for! Amazing food with superb hospitable staff. I will go back one day!

This pub ticks all the boxes! Set in beautiful surroundings you can treat yourself to a nice selection of beers with a cask of ale brewed on site taking pride of place in the selection. I ate here twice over the weekend and in both instances the food was superb. Traditional English dishes with a modern twist is how I would best describe the cuisine very tasty!

Very nice local friendly pub with good ales and nice food. Dog friendly and nice outdoor seating Make sure you book Sunday lunch Closed on Mondays and some dinner times depending on the foot fall.

Original and unspoiled, great location and food.

Stayed last night, Steven and the team where great, food was excellent I had the local lamb, very tasty. Would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to stay in the Dales. Don't be put off by the location as it's well worth making the effort.

We have just completed the three peaks challenge this weekend, and had both our evening meals at the queens arms, I would just like to say a big thank you to the landlord and landlady who made us very welcome, the pub was very warm and comfortable, BUT the food was exceptional and also had a nice selection of vegetarian meals, I would definitely recommend the Queens arms to anybody travelling through or staying in the area.

What a hidden gem this place is! We arrived after doing the 3 Peaks walk tired, wet and hungry. We were greeted warmly and shown straight to our very nice & comfortable rooms so we could shower and change. The bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in! The hosts had even reserved us a table in the bar for our evening meal which was a lovely touch. Food was brilliant and plentiful, breakfast was lovely and we were made to feel nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend.

Absolute little gem of a place fantastic setting warm and welcoming staff excellent menu good beer comfortable rooms … highly recommend this place.

Set in the hills of the Yorkshire Dales makes this a delightful place to enjoy a nice lunch and a few drinks. The food was lovely and the portion sizes were great. We were served by who I assumed was the landlord, and we could not fault his friendliness and attentive attitude. A great place that I would highly recommend.

Lovely places to stop by for Friday night supper. Good choices on the menu. Leave space for dessert.

Fantastic meal. Had a beef sandwich, cheese sandwich and fish and chips between 3 of us. Great stop off on a long day of riding our bikes in the Yorkshire dales. Would highly recommend this to fellow cyclists and walkers!

The Queens Arms is a great pub serving great food and drinks. On this visit we sat in the sunny beer garden which has beautiful views of the hills. Highly recommended!

The location must be one of the best in the dales the pub is oldie worldie with beams open fire and blankets for cold days
I arrived Sunday afternoon just after the rush and the welcome was Yorkshire friendliness at its best ;) I ordered the Queens Arms best bitter (fantastic) and the muscles with crusty bread once again I couldn't fault the quality of the food to the point I had a second portion if you ever find your self with in 10 miles of the Queens Arms in Litton dale pop in!
If nothing other than to worm your bum in front of the open fire and have a beer
But it would be a mistake to not sample the fantastic food.

Very friendly and attentive staff, excellent food, definitely worth a visit. The Queens IPA was well nice but unfortunately they ran out the following night, so I drank the Wharfdale Blonde which was nice also.

What a lovely find, excellent food very friendly staff. A little off the beaten track but worth going out of our way. Home cooked food good size portion but save room for dersert.

Great welcome, a roaring fire was waiting at lunchtime on a cold day. Very friendly and welcoming. Had a couple of pints of Litton dark ale which was on top form. The food was freshly prepared and the portions were generous. We went on our way very happy and will be coming back.

Having visited this place twice before I was left disappointed by my stay. The position of the property is superb being remote and beautiful. The pub feels if it has been rundown with little spent on the upkeep. Sadly the beer was poor being very very bitter, the landlords other half admitted that as a couple they knew nothing about beer and they had a man in to keep the micro brewery going, not to my taste and I love real ale. The bedrooms were very tired with no working TV. No working extractor fan in the bathroom and a wholly inadequate shower. The carpet was shabby and the general feeling was that things had been left to go to seed. One double was out of action to water damage. The food was wholesome if a little expensive, Scampi and Chips at £12. The music consisted of a 60's compilation on permanent repeat. The hosts tried very hard to be genial but were clearly not locals, they admitted that very few locals used the pub. No signal for mobiles, BT took the public phone away 6 months back and the pubs own public phone was broke, I suppose this is good if you want to stay out of touch. If you are fairly thick skinned and want to get away from it all this could be the place for you.

Great little country pub, the staff ther are friendly theres always music on and the darts is fun to play. Jls came here aswell whilst recording.
