The Saturday nights are really good and especially one member of staff Emma always give amazing service with a smile and always lovely and polite and makes you feel welcomed.

Great hosts, good food, very clean.

The service here was superb. We came on 4th June and had no delay to drinks, recommendation for food and just general friendliness. We’re from Scotland so it was great to see! Will be back if we visit again. Highly recommend to tourists!

Very welcoming pub and visit often because of the staff. Hats of to the ladies Karan, Leslee and Polly who always go above and beyond. Would recommend all sporting events here but would book a table for the best seats as it can become very busy with an amazing atmosphere.

Fantastic place for the price.

A refurb and get new staff who don't count the beans and can grill tomatoes. The once beautiful dining room is an embarrassment, and the windows put off customers.

Most enjoyable lunch was served.

Ate as part of stopover for Luton Airport. Great value food, prices for drinks very good. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Came for a breakfast. Very disappointed to say the least.
fried eggs. Solid hard. Fit for the bin.
mushrooms some tinned manky things. That had seen better days.
beans had a dried up skin on them like there Been sat in pot for hours.
worse £15 Quid I've spent. Improvements needed. Sad to say I won't be back.

I was already a bit tipsy from white wine I had somewhere else. I had sausage and mash then tea.
The service we got was fantastic!
You will most certainly see us again.

My housemate and I went to the opening since lockdown on the 4th July 2020. We arrived to a warm welcome with mind easing tour and instructions on how to order and use the space safely. Enjoying great New Zealand wine served with a smile! The food on the revised menu had a nice variety, looked good and enjoyed by those ordered. Will be continued customer in the future. Staff were on the ball and pleasant. Well done!

Visited here on the 4th of July and the service could not have been better. All the new guidance was clearly explained and the whole experience put us at ease. The staff were friendly and the food was great.

Very disappointed, very abrupt manager and a member of staff who put her fingers in my partners food! Manager reminded to be mindful of hidden disabilities and mental health … seemed uninterested and stated he felt abused! Refused a full refund on food despite the order being wrong when clearly stated while ordering and the bar staff wiped her hand across the food and tried to give it back! Very quickly escalated and threatened with the police! Shall avoid at all cost as of now!

Enjoyed after work drinks here. Very ambient and a great venue. We sat outside. Staff were very friendly.

The best breakfast in town To come before 12! Cheap lunch also available! Plenty and comfy seats inside. Good for sport events during the week as they got the back room with 3 screens to watch it on. Wanna try something crazy, come in on Friday or Saturday night when is full of people and loud music. The best place in Luton if u r the out going person, as there aren't many more around her e!

I used to come here few years ago and I loved it back then but now unfortunately staff is just rude! Is it really to much to have a nice gin and tonic in a cool glass, not straight from dishwasher especially when you paying £8? Place is good if you don't care about quality and happy to deal with staff that don't care about anything have an attitude.

Accommodation great value. Large, clean room with everything needed for a short break. Food great and competitively priced. Staff friendly, and on the whole providing good service. Manager seems very obliging. Will definitely return.

2 onliest positive things — location and room. Service is like:ok you are here, great, it would be also great if you wouldnt. We arrived 9:40 and were declined from dinner, after we asked is it possible to drink something, the manager of the hotel was sitting and drinking with his staff and another people alkohol from the bar and just told — no you cant, I closed the till. Very unpolite girl. Then in the morning there came room service on 9 and told on 11 you have to go out, and I will not mention, that they came 3 Times more till 11. Then we went to the bar for breakfast, where we wait around 40 min, when there will somebody serve us. It looks they serve just english people. Will I come back? No. First expierience in Uk — terrible. Especially I came there for business. But thank you for the room. It was nice.

Had such a lovely breakfast this morning at The Red Lion Hotel, welcoming staff and a lovely well cooked breakfast, would definitely recommend.

I popped into the red lion yesterday for a bite to eat & the food was out of the world. It tasted gorgeous. I opted for the fish platter & I couldn't fault it. It was cooked beautifully & tasted amazing. There was alot of food but once I was finished, I didn't feel like I was ready to burst, I felt satisfied that I'd eaten a great meal. I would highly recommend & will definitely be returning. Thank you Red Lion.

My partner and I have now been staying at the Red Lion for 11 weeks. All I can say is thank you so very very much to everyone who works here! You kindness, hospitality and friendship has been the only thing that has kept us from going stir crazy. Your service has been impeccable and your understanding of our unique situation has been wonderful. You have made us feel at home and like family. We can't name any one person as you have all been amazing and we shall miss you all. We will definitely be back to visit. Thank you so very much guys xx.

Today we had Christmas dinner at The Red Lion, a party of 30 blind and partially sighted adults. The food was great, came out well presented, hot and the n time with good time between courses. The staff were absolutely amazing as always, helping people with drinks, finding tables etc. In fact, they went beyond what we expected from them. Nothing was too much trouble.
I highly recommend The Red Lion for daytime and evening functions.

Amazing stay in a very reasonably priced room. Great pub, stayed for the football and then carried on dancing to the music until 3pm! I could not recommend it enough.

Wow. Came in for St Paddys Day cos all the entertainment is right outside — there is a great craic & the place is jumping! We were having a great day till I had the misfortune of being served by who I assume is the manager (older guy) & oh my god I've never been served by someone so bloody miserable in my life! Having worked the bars in Luton, we'd look forward to working on days like today & really enjoy it (plus took loads of money! ), so I assumed this guy would be the same-
Ooohhh no! He looked & spoke to me like I'd personally ruined his life. He was the same with everyone else he served & you could just see people's good spirits just killed by this misery! He may be having a bad day, he may be having a bad life or he may have had to serve some real idiots this weekend. But that's not my fault (or the fault of all the other lovely people here), so he needs to suck it up. Nobody should be a bar manager, or work in hospitality at all if they cant handle a busy weekend!
