Not brilliant so had to check straight back out. Smelt very damp, so not going to stay. To be fair they refunded our money without any stress.

Well… This is a review of two halves. Firstly, The Good — spa is great, gym is very high quality, staff are very friendly, location is great, nice walks in the area and beaches nearby and it has a serene atmosphere. Also accomodating with the dog! The Bad — a 2 out of 5 hygeine rating is shocking, so we couldn't eat here. The room, albeit a dog friendly one, was desperately tired, as is the inside of the building in general. Badly needs some capital investment.

Overpriced hotel that does not nearly deserve its 4 stars. Our room looked run down and was not very clean. On arrival a dirty cup was on the complimentary tray which was not replaced the next day by room service. The pool at the spa looked pretty, but was too cold to stay in for long, while the few showers in the changing rooms were far too hot (and not anjustable). Children are allowed only a few hours in the early morning and late afternoon in the pool. All in all this "Best" Western was a big disappointment and a waste of money.

Stayed one night in studio flat. Very roomy for two. Lovely little kitchen area but its use was storage and sink only. No fridge.

Lovely warm welcome staff were fabulous and helpful really felt looked after. Food was amazing nothing to much trouble. Spa facilities fabulous clean staff were amazing too. Would recommend. Defiantly stay again. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Had a spa day and it was amazing! Definitely recommend this place! We had lunch in the conservatory as part of the spa day it was very nice and the staff were all very polite and professional.

Best Western Lamphey Court Hotel & Spa is a top quality hotel with luscious surroundings. The staff are very friendly whilst maintaining a high standard of morale. I will always recommend this hotel because they made my stay one that was extremely joyful. Thankyou to all the staff at Lamphey Court Hotel & Spa.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay at Lamphey Court Hotel. The decor was in keeping with the age and stature of the hotel and the beds were comfy. The leisure complex was fantastic and we made good use of the pool, steam room and sauna. A great base from which to explore the delights of Pembrokeshire and will probably return again.

Great hotel in excellent location, stunning building and grounds. Friendly helpful staff and a beautiful comfortable room. Fitness centre was well equipped and a pleasure to use. Good quality breakfast with plenty of choice. Highly recommended.

Its the little things that spoil your stay. There was just too many of them, particularly for a 4* hotel. Lack of staff at breakfast and in the bar, cold coffee, breakfast order not being processed properly, no teaspoons (2 days) with coffee at breakfast, broken equipment in the men's changing room at the spa, — its not what is to be expected. Having said that, the staff were all very friendly, the room was great. The hotel could just do better.

A party of 13 had lunch today for Mothers day. Unfortunately, we were the last table to sit down and the beef appeared to have been cut and dried out under the lights, it was not edible. The service was well below basic service standards as some staff finished after the first shift and we waited ages for tables to be cleared. We had finished all our main meals before one person had received their and we even had to ask for bread rolls. I spoke to the General manger and he offered us a discount!

My wife and I stayed at the Lamphey crt Hotel for three nights, the location, hotel and grounds are stunning. The hotel is very clean and the decor is of a high standard yet, comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the dinning room staff were especially good even when busy at breakfast and dinner. The food is extremely good with portions that are satisfying but don't overwhelm you. The fitness centre is the real gem of the hotel, well managed, clean, tidy, lovely pool and spa pool, very good sauna and steam room and an extremely well equipped gym. overall our stay was really good, we used the fitness centre every day, ate in the dinning room every night and had a great mini break, it is somewhere we will definitely revisit Roger and Julia, 26th Feb 2018, Hereford England.

It was not made clear to us at the time of booking that swimming pool times for children are 5.30 — 7 pm & also 8.30-10 am only. We arrived at 2 pm expecting that we could use the pool with our 9 year old grandson — but told we couldn't until 5.30 pm. This contradicts what Best Western have said on their site. We only booked this hotel because of the Spa facilities. We were told our room wouldn't be ready until 4 pm as it had been a busy weekend! So we went off site for a few hours. Our booking was made direct with Best Western. Spa members take priority over residents! Not what we expected!

Lamphey court 5 star! Staff freindly lovely facility's set in excellent grounds secure parking verry clean rooms! Great food! Would recommend! Spa & pool sauna 5 star! Will be booking again!

Enjoying our stay at the Best Western Lamphey Court Hotel & Spa. The staff have been very friendly & helpful with some specific requests we've made. There were a few errors with our breakfast order, but the breakfast itself was nice & we had plenty to eat. We're staying in a dog friendly suite, & the local area is great for our dog & kids. We've walked around beautiful countryside today along the coastal path past Barafundle Bay, just down the road is Pembroke with its castle, & Tenby is the other direction. There are ruins of the old Bishop's Palace just outside the gate.

Beautiful building, down a long driveway. Decent restaurant, and good breakfast. Rooms are comfortable, but a bit worn. Excellent gym and pool.

Sunday night twin room for two. Enjoyed gym and pool area. Great beds. Friendly staff. Breakfast ok. Will go again.

Lovely place to stay if in Pembrokeshire. Quiet part of the world but with all the amenities you would expect from a Spa hotel. Staff are very good, in both appearance and attitude. Very willing and able to give of their time. Our second time of staying here and it won't be our last.

Room was a bit shabby, Windows were all broken and mould in the bathroom, however room was a decent size. Massage service was a shambles. Booked an hour long deep tissue massage for both of us. My partner got 17 mins and I got 30. Neither was deep tissue. Got a refund, but left a sour taste in our romantic weekend. Was a massive disappointment.

Just disappointed with whole visit. Room was in the middle of a car park very run down. Very Limited food menu if you want to eat healthy. Also Internet was a joke.

We had one night here and were made to feel welcome and relaxed quickly. They made a mistake in not having a bottle of wine in the room upon arrival but this was quickly rectified and a very nice bottle with our evening meal. The spa was lovely, didn't have a treatment but the gym was great as was the lovely pool. The only downside for me was the mattress which was too soft.

We loved staying at this Lamphey property. It was a beautiful & peaceful property. Staff were very nice. We especially enjoyed the sheep farm next to the property. Rooms were very clean& spacious for a family. Dinner & breakfasts were enjoyable. We had a lovely time. I would highly recommend this hotel & would stay here again.

What a remarkable improvement since our last visit! Christine was helpful and professional at the reception as was Lisa in the dining room. We were impressed with the upgraded bedroom and the general appearance of the hotel. The improvements in the restaurant, both the food and the decor, made our breakfast all the more enjoyable. Congratulations! We have already booked for our next visit.

Only ate here but food and service was excellent.

Good size rooms. Clean, warm and comfortable. Shower works well. Plenty of storage space. Good TV. Reliable and good speed Wi-Fi. Lovely location. Friendly and efficient staff. Good restaurant.

Shambles, booked the short and sweet package for my partners birthday, got to our room and there was 2 single beds instead of a double, house keeping wasn't there to rectify this, so other members of staff in fairness did they're best, don't know how you can't make a bed though, and to be asked if that's ok with no duvet cover on it, course it's not ok, did the bed myself when they left, room was dated, building was very cold, till the heating came and about 11 in the night, meal and breakfast was lovely in fairness, our spa treatments didn't happen, I booked in for treatments on the Sunday, but for some reason they had us booked in for the Saturday at 10 o clock even though we didn't check in till 3pm, they then said we'd squeeze you in, got ready in robes, and then to be told the staff member hasn't turned up, who was doing the treatments, complete Shambles, avoid you'll only be left disappointed!

It makes for an impressive sight when you roll up in the car park. Flags flying, huge columns and tall windows befitting the stately home it once was, architecturally beautiful and surly bound to please the senses. At a distance thats what it displays, opulence. Walking into the reception it's clear that the building is in retirement, I want to regret typing that. I want to convince myself that it is just my tastes or lack of, or that things get better in the next room. This is just the reception after all but first impressions count! The old furniture, carpets and drab décor just feels more nursing home than stately, there is a way to do 'old' without being so. We had an afternoon tea lined up in the conservatory arguably one of the best assets in the hotel a large, light, airy room capable of being impressive but again sadly let down with the décor. There's hints at former glory everywhere with 2 huge busts on plinths in here. The service was excellent, the staff here are very good as was the afternoon tea with plenty of choice with to much, even gorge on… just what the doctor ordered. Collected the room keys and on upstairs to room 7 in the 'West Wing' no less. No this isn't just my lack of taste, things here ARE old and in no way befit the hotel. These aren't pieces of old hand carved furniture its just old dark furniture. Comfortable bed though and LCD TV with Freeview. Mirrors plenty in the bathroom but again in need of refreshing.

I came for a night away with my husband, the spa was nice although basic facilities. I had a massage that was lovely. Staff friendly and attentive. Evening meal was ok nothing special.

The hotel and accommodation is lovely. The location is very nice too. Staff are friendly and the food is very good. However service in the restaurant is very slow waiting up to 25/30 minutes after the order has been placed.

Staff needs more training.

Ok, but not great. Food left a lot to be desired, certainly not fine dining.

Internet connection is unsuitable for business, has packet loss of 30% and pings of 300ms. It continues to be like this over several months.

I would like to start by saying wonderful people, mis-managed, unempowered and not able to make decisions on behalf of customers. The cost of a single room is expensive, rooms small and tired, charged £1200.00 for 3 adults, no value at all, I just want my money back, poor service, badly executed, do not know what market they are catering for but it is Guest verses Members, as we are all guests even under the spa's membership scheme, I had lost the will to live when they started charging for services given free because a colleague was working to rule, I will be taking this up with the Lain Family as they still own the Hotel, sack your senior management and start again. Best Advice I can give but I do want my Money Back David.

Its a hotel struggling to be a health spa which leads to a little dosappointment from both sides. Some funny rules impair the stsy experience but a great breakfast is to be had. Beds soft so check room first before accepting unless you like soft beds. Nice location and food availble in pub and hotel in village just five minutes away.

Very nice place to stay. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable. Service is outstanding.
