Fantastic hotel, super friendly, super clean and superb food which was presented beautifully and cooked to perfection. We checked out this morning happy, feeling well looked after and well fed, we will definitely return if we’re in the area again. Lovely to go to a hotel where you feel they appreciate your custom, Thankyou.

Pretty good hotel. Our second visit this year. The only annoyances are that breakfast is only served until 09.15 on a Sunday and that check-out is too early (10.00).
Apart from that it is friendly, clean and the beds are good. It is a bit pricey for the product, but we would stay again, and almost certainly will.

Really good service, we had the parmazan hake, which was very delicious, spoilt for choice on the menu. Very highly recommended.

My family and I have just spent a couple of nights at The Falcon Hotel, the staff were fantastic and the breakfast was fabulous.
We were visiting Carmarthen for a family funeral and the wake was at the hotel, it only seemed right that we stayed there. Team Falcon did not disappoint, the afternoon tea was amazing, well presented, a great variety of cakes and sandwiches and of course it was very tasty. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. The rooms were warm, comfy, very clean and value for money.

Comfortable clean room. Staff provided fan as it's a heatwave at present. Breakfast pleasant and carpark provided free. Stairs old & narrow but our luggage was carried up for us. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Located in the heart of the town.

Great proprietor, great staff, great rooms, great food, and a great central location right in the middle of Carmarthen. We stay here every time that we're in town. Faultless!

This is a review for the hotel side of the business. I can't even stand up straight in my room let alone in the shower. The bed is uncomfy and although I am tall (6ft 3/6ft4) ny feet stick off the end by at least half a foot. There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, at least the hotel says it's not working. I called up on the morning of my arrival to double check everything was ok with my booking to have a man who must of been in a very bad mood. Anyone would of though I'd asked him to move mountains with the way he spoke to me. Overall, a bad nights sleep doubled with a stiff neck leaves me wishing is stayed in a travel lodge. Sad times.

We visited the Falcon hotel for lunch last week. What a fabulous lunch menu. The food is excellent the service first class and the ambience is second to none. I was glad we made a booking as the restaurant was full, always a good sign. Couldn't fault the food it was superb and very well presented.
We were pleasantly surprised when the bill came, much to our delight, we've paid a lot more for poor food and disappointing service. All together a very pleasant experience.

Location is good with parking facility and a lot of food markets and restaurants in the vicinity. It was a great experience, bedrooms are really warm and comfortable. Breakfast was well prepared as well. Very friendly staff. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND and will visit again.

We had dinner here for our anniversary in April. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The service was quick and friendly. The surroundings were clean with fresh flowers. The whole ambience of the place was excellent. Next time we visit Carmarthen we will stay here, it is sooo much better than the Boar's Head where the food is tasteless and boring and the service is poor.

Helpful, friendly and knowledgable staff, made for a very good stay. Nice comfy beds and staff actually paid attention to my request for no feather pillows/duvet etc in the room where many don't bother.

Since we live locally we do not use this for the hotel but for the restaurant. We usually get into Carmarthen once a week and have lunch here. I'm not a fan of Pub Lunches so was interested in what the Falcon could come up with. They have very cleverly forsworn the endless laminated pages offering microwaved standards and restricted their menu to a small number of freshly made, well cooked dishes prepared from local produce. This menu is produced on a single sheet of A4 clearly printed so if you have forgotten your glasses — no problem. It consists of three main sections starters, main course and pudding. Changes are made to this on a daily basis so you will never get bored. You can pick two of these courses for the all inclusive price of £11.95 — yes £11.95, about what you would be charged for a single plate of indifferent food elsewhere. The secret to keeping to this ridiculously low price is that the vegetables, locally sourced and freshly prepared, are standardised — everyone gets the same. The dishes are chosen so that they harmonise perfectly with the vegetables being served. Yesterday I had breast of chicken topped with bacon, peaches and cheddar cheese, and my wife had roasted leg of duck with red wine and bacon, both complimented perfectly by the dish of mashed potatoes, cabbage (delicious if cooked properly) carrots and peas. Additionally I should point out that the service is first rate from professionals.
