Overall its a good place but the check in was really slow we had to wait for almost 45 mins from the check in time because the rooms was not ready. And the AC was hot and we had to call them to send an engineer to fix it in all 3 rooms. Other than that the place is fine.

I stayed there for a week. Everything was comfy, personnel friendly and kind. The only comment was my room, when I got there the first night the smoke odor was strong even when they told me that was a non smoking room. Outside of that, all good.

This hotel is very cozy and almost home like. The amenities to my surprise are classy and especially the sauna, steam bath and the roof-top pool and when I say roof-top I mean like on the 3rd floor as much as don't like hieghts this hotel conveniently located right on Sheikh Zayed Road (main road in Dubai) and it is not of those sky scrappers. The hotel rooms have almost everything you would need and they are not small by any means and feel comfortable and hence home like feel. Staff is very nice and welcoming, although the housekeeping can sometimes not pick up the calls. The hotel has a shisha coffee shop right in the middle of the ground floor, and the Red Lion Restaurant and Bar which serves some nice big burgers and other bites. I would say the location of the hotel is also a plus since it is at sort of in the middle of Dubai where everything is within not too far of a distance from you. The price is also not too shabby for all of this and more that you get from the hotel.

This is the first hotel that I stayed in Dubai, which offers a good room and services. They also have 3 restaurants and one gym. A good place for families.

4 star hotel, very clean, single rooms, hearty and good breakfast. A lot of choices.
Nice staff Only snag, subway station at 10-15 Min walk. Difficult in the evening because we walk a lot in Dubai. Too bad there is a shuttle that every hour between 08h and 7pm.
20H would have been a more appropriate hour. For those who take the taxi, it is easy to find. Mc Do less than five minutes on foot, it helps out well.

The room was really nice and comfortable with everything I needed during my 10 day stay. Great internet connection, nice variety of restaurants / bars in the actual hotel plus a p. F. Changs within walking distance. Rooftop pool with swimup bar was perfect for relaxing in the evenings after work. Breakfast was really good and the food I ordered at the hotel restaurants was fine if a little expensive. The only drawback is you pretty much have to get a cab to go anywhere as the metro station is really far off (to be fair there is a free shuttle to the metro station but who has time for that? ).

Worst experience ever! If I knew what a hassle it would have been to stay here — I would have paid extra and stayed in a hotel that has been in service longer and had more experience. Booked over 40 rooms and the service was definitely not up to Dubai or even 2 star standards. We had paid for rooms in advance, but unfortunately the team did not follow the confirmation and credited other guest rooms — so we had to pay twice and we are STILL waiting for the hotel to get back to us in regards to the mistake — 2 months later. The front desk never followed the confirmation numbers that were provided to them by their management and therefore guests were being charged incorrectly for their rooms. The team also charged us for other guest rooms without our authorization. Our personal items were taken out of our room and after escalating the issue to management — they were returned to us without an apology. We were promised discounted vouchers that were never given to our guests during their stay. The staff was extremely rude and not accommodating or apologetic when mistakes were made. I have sent many messages to the management and they are not responding or following up on the investigation that they promised. I am extremely disappointed and heartbroken that I had so many problems during my wedding. I wish I could do it all over again.

From the roof of this hotel you have a unique view to the west of Burj Al Arab and to the north on downtown Dubai. Do not forget to use a long focal length camera. Then also Burj Khalifa can be brought into the picture.

Well done, great rooms at an affordable price, close to Mall of Emirates.

Excellent hotel, very comfortable.

Very good price /quality ratio. Workers are very friendly, and the breakfast buffet is absolutely amazing. The pool on the rooftop is warmed, and the view is nice. I highly recommend the hotel. I'll come back here for sure if ever again in Dubaï. Only bad point is the sound of the highway that's in front of the hotel. But the bed quality is so high that you quickly fall asleep anyway.

Clean, quiet hotel. Got the impression of it being more of a business hotel. Also well located next to a metro station and Mall of the Emirates.

Extremely friendly and polite staff. Greets whenever they see you. Rooms are in well kept condition and the views here are incredible. Central location to any attraction in Dubai. Tons of exotic car dealerships along the street where the hotel is situated. A car lover's heaven for sure! Recommended hotel in Dubai.

I liked the hotel is really clean and comfort. My only comment is that you can hear your neighbors laughing and talking and some other sounds. When I get back again to Dubai I might come back to metropolitan hotel again.

I had a wonderful experience in the hotel and decided to extend my stay with another week. The team working here is absolutely outstanding. I had received the best service from the reception, Nadia and her colleagues are extremely professional. Housekeeping is on the highest level, with attention to every little detail. Every person working in this hotel is demonstrating the highest level of client experience. I definitely recommend this place and give them well deserved five stars.

Modern hotel in a central location, a few minutes drive to the Mall of the Emirates, Palm Island, Burj Al Arab U. S. W. And also to the beach. The food is great.

Visited the red lion pub for lunch. The hospitality is awesome and people are great. The food can be improved especially the Currys… the fries with curry sauce was fantastic thou.

Fabulous hotel, the staff not speaking French make the effort to get out of their like the translator in order to serve you at best, of a kindness and politeness, very spacious and very clean room, a swimming pool on the roof with spa and its bar, with hours Very wide opening, and the cherry is the location at the top close to all. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel is, especially because of the reasonable price. My wife and I decided to have a staycation and went over to Metropolitan. The breakfast is excellent and the other restaurants too. The rooftop pool is an attractive place as well. You can order drinks and food and the staff are very friendly at the pool. We ended up coming back a couple week later just for the pool during the day. If you’d like a nice place to stay, which is central by car or taxi, then you’ll find it here. The hotel has its own parking, so if you have a car no need to worry.

Great staff very welcoming and always smiles, clean rooms and very nice services. Food is delicious as well. The location is great only if you have a car, otherwise it will be disaster for transportation.

Best hotel for conferences meetings or big party. Professional staff who always answer with a nice smile. The only downside is rooms are a little bit small or compact.

It's a nice hotel, friendly service, good location. However if you ever use the conference rooms, unfortunately I can't say the same, room can be hot, the chairs not comfortable at all, the coffee not good, too bitter. As for the food, the restaurant on the ground floor nice, the salad bar is good and has fresh salads and dips, however the main not all that at all.

Had iftar at The Safa resteraunt. The food was great and the ambiance of the place is very nice. The food variety was great. The staff are very friendly. It was an amazing experience I highly recommend it for families and individuals.

Considering the Metropolitan Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road Dubai only opened last year I think they've got everything down to a 'T' regarding standards of customer service, efficiency, facilities, food, outlets, swimming pool, gym… the housekeeping standards are A+ and the rooms are lovely — fresh, clean, modern and comfortable. This is a first rate hotel in an excellent location that offers fantastic value for money. The main restaurant, Al Safa has an Iftar spread that makes you spoiled for choice — there's just so much to choose from. On the rooftop there's also a lovely little salon where for a small fee you can have that beauty treatment you may not have had time for! The Ramadan rate is less than AED 300 and even during peak season only goes to about AED 500 a night (speculating here) … I highly recommend the Metropolitan Hotel Dubai, really fab hotel that met all my expectations from start to finish.

We got a room with a view upon request, and got a nice view of the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah beach hotel. McDonald's and superstore just across the road. Proximity to Jumeirah beach, Madinat souk. Nice view from the rooftop. On the Sheikh zayed road and taxis easily available. They got one shuttle every hour to the metro station which is around 800-1km away. Amazing breakfast spread (wasn't part of our package but guests get discount coupons). Very and pleasant stay.

I had a great experience staying in Metropolitan hotel, aside from new and modern design and style of the hotel. You've got the best services, comfortable rooms quite and clean and the breakfast is very tasty and delicious, and of course the staff are very hospitable, kind and very accommodating. Specially Carmela who help me out to know this place and gave me a good rate.

Great places close to Dubai Mall.

Being a new hotel, it benefits from everything feeling new and up to date. Good sized rooms with huge beds and big flat screen TVs. Average rooftop pool with a bar. Breakfast buffet has a varied selection to cater for all. Downside is that the hotel is not really near anything so it will be taxis everywhere but they are fairly cheap.

Fantastic Hotel I just stayed one night only. The hotel is very near to all services in Dubai, on Shiekh Zayed road. Also staff is very friendly and and cooperative. The hotel is two floor level so it's really calm place. I have amused my stay really.

We were placed in this hotel after a P and O cruise. P and O dumped us there late morning and required (without notice or any attempt and proper organisation of the passengers) that the hotel to look after us until the rooms were ready, nominally at 2pm. (We the complaining passengers were not told anything of what was going on either). The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful, especially the duty manager (a tall, good looking chap — we didn't get his name). He went out of his way to ensure that all our needs were looked after, he was so professional and helpful that he made our time in Dubai really memorable. The hotel is very impressive, beautiful decor, comfortable, wide beds and and one of the best breakfast buffets that we have experienced. Great Stay, Great Hotel.

My family and I had a great stay in this hotel. We stayed here from Dec 25 to Dec 30 2016. Everything is great. Breakfast service is one of the best part. Special credit to all our co Filipinos staff working here who rendered their services with worldwide quality. This hotel and the quality of services are highly recommendable. Thank you so much.
