Great location, walking distance to the beach, blue water and the marina. Good breakfast. We had a lovely room on the 18th floor, spacious, huge bed, balcony with a great view, and nice and clean thanks to our housekeeper Ganesh. All the staff were very polite and helpful. You can hear some noise from bla bla when on the balcony as mentioned on other reviews but not enough to keep us up. traffic is bad in the evening so we got dropped off by the ferris wheel and walked over the bridge to avoid it (5min) 8/10 would happily stay there again.

Worse hotel I’ve stayed in. Rooms were clean but the hotel was awful. Unhelpful staff and concierge. Main bar open after 6pm is the sports bar which is like something from Benidorm in the 80’s! Prostitutes plying for businesses outside the hotel, have to walk past at least 6 each night to get back to hotel. Food was awful, had to complain just to get warm food. If you stay here don’t expect an early night as the road outside the hotel is like a Grand Prix circuit with Dubais finest boys racers revving their finest motor cars until 4am! Don’t expect to get a warm reception at the pool as the sun doesn’t reach it until 3pm, I’ve had warmer days in the UK in March! Do your research and don’t stay at this poor excuse for a resort.

The place is just so refreshing. The view is great, the pool area has an equally wonderful ambience and a very relaxing feel to it, is not too crowded too. Their customer service is excellent, staff are very polite and kind, a remarkable trait among all JA staff! 🤗

I have just left the hotel, had an amazing holidays there. Amazing staff, an indian girl Mary so nice attitude from her, kind and helpfull. Staff in the kitchen so sweet, again an indian girl sorry for not remembering her name, starting with D, really excellent service from her, very quick and smooth, liked all of them very much.
2 min walk from the beach, hotel provides towels and umbrella, everything is very good.
Location is amazing near to every place you want to reach, metro 5 min walk, shops, supermarkets…
Actually first time in Dxb and emotions are unfrogettable👌🏼. Already missing ( (. The only bad thing that happened with us is russian guide Natalya from Voyage tour. Not suggest to take any tour from her, such an unresponsible attitude towards the guests, taking from the hotel promising transfer for free, then dropping somewhere and leaving there… we just were lucky that in DXB was so safe otherwise I don’t know what could happen with us. She is just lier. And we were not the first guests who were disappointed of her. So just by any chance try to bypass services provided by her.
Besides, The other guides in the hotel give cheaper tours as well.

Location! Location! Location! Beautiful hotel minutes from everything. Comfortable room with awesome view of the gulf. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Restaurant staff were so friendly I went to that awful breakfast (have to tell the truth) four days straight. (I heard the pre-COVID buffet was really good. ) Vendor in lobby added a unique flair to the experience. He was entertaining and full of cultural knowledge. He made coming and going each day memorable. I will stay at the JA Ocean View on my next visit to Dubai as well, and you should, too!

Beautiful hotel just steps from the beach and Dubai's best-known JBR promenade. Good value for money We'll be back.

Great hotel and perfect location to visit Dubai! Room is big and the view is just exceptionnal. The only "negative" comment I could do about the room is the bathroom which needs some refurbishment (Room 710)
Breakfast is great, fresh, ++for the terrace.
Swimming pool is nice, indeed most of the time in the shadow but this could be taken as good point regarding the hot days in Dubai.
Staff of the hotel is helpful and kind.
We will come back to this hotel if once we are back in Dubai.

Had a lovely holiday here, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Addy was very good at his job in the club lounge and never missed an opportunity to serve your preferred drinks etc without you asking, lovely personality too, plus he made a lovely pot of tea at breakfast.

Tiptop location! Great view to the beach, nice breakfast buffet, helpful staff, you can borrow towels and umbrellas for the beach, and walk to the public beach in 5 minutes. Lots of restaurants and “life” around the hotel, but still relatively quiet (some noise from AC’s and nearby construction work “The Address” — almost finished — but not too much).
Highly recommend this place, and will go there again if ever in Dubai again.

Now it's the second time I'm in this hotel and will definitely come back. The location is great, all rooms have nice sea view and are very big. The team is also very friendly and great. They have always time for a chat.

Lovely hotel, very clean and staff very helpful. Breakfast a bit chaotic with long queues for the eggs and continually running out of glasses for the juices. Dinner in the restaurant, again, not the best with dishes on the buffet not really going together and not really hot enough. Saying that a very different experience at the pool bar with fantastic food made to order and very helpful staff. Rooms spacious, very clean and quiet — great!

This hotel had good locations surroundings & the restuarant Manager Krishna & staff team were very pleasant & helpful. We came as a family to celebrate for our big birthday's. It was amazing. We really felt special. Restuarant staff catered for what we wanted to eat & went out of there way to give us a good time. Thanks for making our holiday & birthday very special. We bought a our cake from outside & took it in the restuarant to celebrate. There decorated our table for us very nicely. Accomodation was good. Will recommend JA Ocean view hotel its right across the beach. Much appreciated. Thanks to the hard working staff in this hotel. All were pleasant. L give them 5 stars.

Everyone is very welcoming, helpful, the rooms are spacious and the views to the sea are stunning, breakfast is great there is a lot to choose from.

but — VERY BIASED, as I'm also the Dj there…! ** Brilliant, attentive staff, extensive drink brands, tasty & inventive food menu with amazing deals to match. Biggest TV screen in the area for major sporting events & all round lively atmosphere every night…!

Nice hotel… nice location… friendly staffs… great foods… lovely room… nice sea view… everything is there… couple of restaurants, bars and pool… So far my day is great.

The hotel is great rooms are oké. How ever when you arive in the morning the room isn't available. Because check in start on 15.00 we where offered a upgrade but you have to pay extra with option room will be available in one hour. I spend € 1286.00 for 8 day's half package. So I wait 5 hours until the room was ready to find out that mobile Phone can't be charge. At the reception was a Black employé that told me that I can use the entrence of the tv. She totaly lied and the worst thing the lack of service they don't have a adapter so it's your problem then how to charge the Phone. For the money I spend I should get service for everything not by asking me If I drink or eat in the thyme restaurant. They clame every diner is different not true every day was the same.

Good setting, however a lot of space for improvement. All together nice place.

Had ifthar dinner. Good service. Place is ideally located at JBR. I might choose to stay there the next time.

Stunning hotel with pool on the 3rd floor and access to the beach resort thanks to the hotel shuttle. Breakfast buffet and very hearty dinner. Spacious room, bathroom a little basic for a 5-star hotel.

Stayed at JA Ocean View for 10 days to celebrate my big birthday. What can I say your hotel is amazing from checking in at reception by Yusaf who was so professional and polite and even remembered my birthday and asked how my skydive went. Hope one day he can do the skydive. We were greeted with drinks and a hot towel. We also got a free room upgrade to the 21st floor, whooohooooo I was so so happy. The room was spotless and spacious with amazing views out towards the beach and the big wheel. The pool on the third floor with the beach just down the lift and a 2 minute walk across, what more could you ask for was even provided with an extra touch of the beach mats and towels setting us up for hours on the beach The hotel is set in a great location just by The Walk with plenty of shops and restaurants. A day was spent at your sister hotel JA Jebel Ali Resort on your free shuttle bus which was great day adding a relaxed day out with the beach just by the pool. Back at the hotel on the third floor the spa also added the special extra touch when the sun went down to chill out before heading out for the evening. The breakfast and dinner was a good variety of hot and cold food. We were showed each evening to our table by Krishna who looked after us during our stay in the restaurant. On my birthday what a surprise I received a lovely birthday cake and a glass of champagne to the tunes of happy birthday in the restaurant with Krishna taking photos for us.

We checked in JA Ocean a few days back. The room was very nicely done up and house keeping throughout was superb. All the staff was very warm and helpful, Mery at the concerge went out of her way to assist us with our commutes. Girls at the children play club were very nice to our daughter. The hotel is very nicely located and overall it was a great experience.

Great value for money for Dubai beach hotel! Staff is amazing, professional, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast fantastic more than enough choice, and diner also where good! Rooms big and welcoming, choice of pillows and anything you can think off. Definitely recommend this hotel if it's for couple of days or business and would like to use the beach. Not recommended for families with young kids, or if in Dubai for quiet and relaxing holiday, night clubs too much noise and very lively during the weekend nights till 3-4am street noise (from cars, people and bars).

Very nice hotel with a very nice staff and Virginia is very good advice. Well located geographically the marina is next to restaurants and bars. Very spacious room and a great view.

Great hotel. This hotel has arrived 2 times. Excellent service. All for guests: good breakfasts, free buses, friendly waiters, free water and tea-coffee in the room, 24-hour snack in the lobby on the ground floor (very not bad food) there is where to walk, outside the hotel. Last year congratulated from hotel Happy birthday, and in it even the postcard did not put. And we have not come here for the first time!

I have stayed in many hotels but this one is the best. We were offered an upgrade to a suite which is enormous. The shower is a wet room, I would bring it home if I could! The food in the coral lounge is amazing. As part of the upgrade we get complimentary afternoon tea which is delicious. The staff are so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent value fora Dubai beach hotel. The staff were amazingly helpful across the board. We were a large wedding party with kids and the staff couldn’t do enough. The rooms are large and clean and great breakfasts. Will certainly be back again. Only downside is pool in shade all day. (but that will be a blessing in the summer. )

4 stars deserves rightfully. Why not 5? Because when settling there were difficulties. The room was very well equipped. And pushed us a room on the 23rd floor with a surcharge of $100. We could wait until after 14.00, but we were on the road for a day, in the hands of a baby, another child of 9 years. All tired. Had to agree to an extra olnitelnuju fee. Throughout the time that we were in the hotel, every day we met the same people who extra. Very unpleasant minus. You can go to people, especially with children in their hands, to meet as they do in many hotels around the world. The staff were very friendly and helpful. View from the room gorgeous; We had breakfast in the restaurant which was otlchnym, tasty and fresh. The most gracious man in the hotel concierge Mary)

Modern hotel, nice, comfortable rooms, varied breakfasts, friendly and courteous hotel staff.

Everything good for a few days stopover in Dubai. I did like breakfast buffet (yummy! ). Hotel has partner hotel with nice pool and beach, connecting guests with a shuttle. Location near marina not so central, but taxi can take you anywhere.

Absolutely amazing stay. We arrived super early and was able to check in early to an upgraded room for a small fee only. My boyfriend got cake delivered to the room on his bday and the housekeeping was excellent. All the little details and the hotel had great facilities — free beach bag with all the necessities and free shuttle. Loved it. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great hotel. Just from there. Lovely staff. Great clean and fresh rooms. The view from the window is awesome. There is a lot to go for a walk. This year in April I will return with my family to this hotel.

Stays in Dubai at the end of July in this hotel which at all to please with beautiful rooms a gym a swimming pool and I go. With a staff attentive and very pleasant with its customers.

The hotel is very well located in Dubai. Facing the beach. Good food. Good quality rooms. The only downside is the pool which has the shade all day.

Good clean hotell, the staff is nice and the view is awesome. Breakfast is great, but the restaurant in the evening leaves more to desire. The pool area is nice, but unfortunately it's in the shade the better part of the afternoon (in December).

The hotel is in the heart of The Walk on JBR, from the beginning till end the hotel staff were absolutely brilliant, very helpful and any faults they were there straight away to the room to help you out with the problem. Also have to give a big thank you to Kristena who welcomed us and upgraded us for free, and was at hand to book executions and any of the free bus shuttles to other locations for us, she even organised us so we could have a room till we left the hotel in the evening, because check out time was 11am, overall the hotel and staff were brilliant and the best hotel I have been to by far so far.

Stayed at this excellent hotel for 10days. Rooms large and very clean. Brilliant view from 19th floor across the gulf. Staff very professional, helpful and very very friendly. Restaurants a plenty. Food great loads of choice for different tastes. Would recommend this hotel. Will be returning very shortly. Great.

Find an offer good enough and we spent a day and a night in this hotel. It is an activity required in Dubai. The room was amazing and the most incredible views yet. Its biggest drawback is the beach, which is not very accessible nor very good. The service in the swimming pool, even so, is excellent. The area around the hotel is great.

I stayed a week at this hotel and it was very nice. They even give you towels and umbrella for the beach — you can get those at the bar next to the pool. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

The normally check in time is 3:00pm at Dubai hotels. I arrived early about 12:00 and I check in immediately. The room was clean and with nice view to the Beach. The hotel are flexible with check in and check out and this is really good especially if you traveling with your children. I really recommend JA Ocean View Hotel and defiantly will back again.

Stayed in this hotel in October found the staff to be very very helpful and friendly, rooms and food beautiful definitely top class, three minutes to the beach which was beautiful and very warm hopefully will go back to the same place next year from, Frank and marie allister P. Been there twice now. Great location for those faniente. But around 20-30mns from downtown by taxi. Nice cosy room with modern clean look. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

The perfect hotel for a perfect experience while my brother and I visited Dubai! Everything was top notch! Friendly staff and great customer service! Its location is right off the JBR beach and across the street from the JBR Walk.
