God's Peace of Maui Hotel

The place was beautiful but it's basically a hostel.

Really lovely B&B. Whilst it has shared bathrooms and kitchen facilities it's wonderfully clean and well looked after by the owners. Breakfast set us up every day and it's really conveniently located for exploring upcountry, getting to the airport and Haleakala. I'd highly recommend Peace of Maui if you want to stay somewhere quieter, cooler, and more restful than the resort areas.

It is a very peaceful place that's quite, lovely and affordable! I stay here whenever I get the chance! Mika and Tammy are very sweet and run a good service!

I had a good experience here. The host couple are good people. The "breakfast" is minimal, but you pay twice the price to get a hot breakfast here on Maui.

Very quiet… too much so you can hear people clearly in their room… doing the wild monkey dance!

Our host was so kind and gentle. That being said The room was small, too hot, no breeze, the fan is not enough. The sheets hot and sticky. Other guests inconsiderate slamming doors! Very pricey for what you get.

I love this place. Cosy and very comfortable. Very helpful owner. Highly recommended for your stay in Maui.

Agreed with other reviewer saying this place is closer to a hostel than an airbnb. For $135 a night is rather a very expensive hostel. But everything in this area seems to be super overpriced anyway. My younger self would have probably rated it 3 stars, but at my point in life I really don't have the reason to be uncomfortable in a tiny room with a shared bathroom where other's leave razors with public hair. If I ever visit the area again I would just spend $100 more and stay at a good place.

This is much closer to a Hostel than a B&B. You get a small room with either 1 or 2 beds that take up the majority of the floor space. Community bathrooms & kitchen. Cleanliness was fair, and the owner was super nice.

Great little B&B. The proprietor is so nice and helpful and was willing to work with us even though we booked day of and arrived late at night. Located in a very rural area, but close to some great restaurants and shops.

Place is a good deal, clean, people are friendly. It's central to Maui so it's easy to get to many attractions all over the island. If your the type that just wants a bed to sleep in at night because you'll be out on an adventure all day then this is for you.

Sparse breakfast (instant oatmeal, a granola bar, and a single serving-size container of apple sauce) and very little community feel. Short interactions with hosts were few and far between. No AC in rooms, so humid nights were unbearable. Guests asked to do their own dishes and clean common areas. Would not stay again or recommend to others. Strictly worse than traditional hotel experience.

Let's get the negatives out of the way first. If you are not driving, you may want to think twice about this place. It's a ten minute walk to the bus stop along a road with no pavements (sidewalks for the Americans). The bus into town takes about 45 minutes and only runs once every 90 minutes. Secondly, the breakfast is just a sachet of microwavable oatmeal and a granola bar. Saying that, the place is really, really lovely and so are the hosts. The rooms are basic, but do the job. You've got a TV and fridge in your room and full use of a fully equipped shared kitchen. It's a B&B so the bathrooms are shared — they're spotlessly clean. The building is a lovely rural Hawaiian house and you're surrounded by trees and nature in all directions. Locally, you're a bit strapped for choice with regards eating. There's one restaurant within walking distance. If you're driving, this probably isn't a problem.

Amazing, clean, friendly. Everything we needed for a great peaceful night. Will be repeating and booking for a longer stay in the future. Mahalo Mika and Tammi.

What an amazing, beautiful, inspiring experience I have had at Peace of Paradise! I am ever grateful to the hostess, Stephanie, who makes every moment there special just by providing such a welcome, naturally luxurious creation of the entire place. Love Love Love!

When I vacation I usually stay at 5 star resorts so was feeling a bit uneasy about shared accomodation. Was pleasantly surprised at how clean and inviting Peace of Maui was. Even with bathroom renovations we never had to wait for the shower. Very nice place and I would definitely go back.

The best place to stay in Maui, if you ask me! The owners are humble and very kind. They were wonderful to my grandmother who ended up wandering into their home! I stayed in the cottage and it's very very spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable. Everything you need is already there. We were shocked to even find an iron and ironing board there! I have nothing bad to say about Peace of Maui, and I'll definitely be coming back!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved the place, the owners, the pets (dogs and cats) and the people we met there. Tammi and Mika were super friendly and helpful! They went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel comfortable. In our opinion, the price was fair for Maui / Hawaii standards. The place is great, really peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were also very clean. We would most definitely stay there again :)

Friendliest hostel owners in Hawaii! We stayed there for one night only but were showered with generosity. They upgraded our room for free, and when I asked where to buy fruit in the area, was given a tour of the garden where they helped me pick papayas, limes, chiles and edible flowers! Very clean and peaceful, felt like I was being taken care of.

Wonderful calm and really peaceful place. Great for relaxing. Tammi &her husband are lovely people and always helpfull! thx really nice b&b is perfect for relaxing. Very nice landlord! Cash payment is required. But for younger guys is no place to have a Party ;) )

I was already several times in Tammy Cadman in "Peace of Maui" and I have every Time felt very comfortable. She is a very warm, helpful, friendly. The rooms are comfortable, everything is clean and well organized. The atmosphere is Aloha! Can only recommend it! E komo mai!
