If you're looking for the Ritz, this is not it, but if you're looking for incredibly caring staff, clean rooms, pet friendly… This is the place. We were evacuated because of the fires, and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome for as long as needed, and gave us a very favorable rate. We are allowed back into our homes tomorrow on warning, but if we are evacuated again, we'll be back.

Staff helped us get everything resolved. Nice clean and very spacious rooms. Good place to stay!

Great location. Hotel rooms look to have had some updates recently (new floors — that aren't carpet which is nice). Pet friendly for a fee. It's no Ritz Carlton but given that you should be spending most of your days outdoors and just using it to rest your head it fits the need. Price was reasonable. My only complaint is the parking. If you're out late, which I was out until the sun went down most days, then you'll find getting a parking space to be tough, esp if other guests decide to bring trailers (or if you're that guest). They should remove some of the superfluous grass and turn it into parking.

The driveway/road that takes you up to the Motel was clearly marked and easy to find. I can imagine in the winter months this incline would be exciting to say the least. The parking lot was well lit and very clean.

Super friendly staff. Massive pet friendly room. This place is above the main road, yet quiet. Nestled in the trees with a great view, we were here for mothers day. My wife loved it. Thank you timbers for a successful weekend.

Nice place, friendly staff, clean rooms.

The rooms are dated and a little dingy. The lighting in the rooms is terrible. It lives up to the **motel** stereotype. There are places nearby with MUCH better views. The staff is nice enough but it seems like only one person was working so when they were called away to help someone else you simply had to wait.

Nice big room and awesome heated pool and hot tub.

Stayed five nights. Clean room, friendly staff, great coffee in the office however the mattresses were terrible, old, and very uncomfortable. I could not get much sleep because I could feel the springs pressing against me no matter where I positioned myself. They need to replace the mattresses and pillows otherwise it was a good stay.

Clean, cheap and decent. That's all I needed.

For the past several summers, we have enjoyed attending a play at the Big Fork Playhouse, then staying at the Timbers Motel. However, this past weekend we again stayed at the motel but never again. We had to cancel a week in advance if our plans changed, the girl who checked us in should not have been working at that job. When we got to our smoke-free room, it wasn't. We wanted to open the window but the screen had been sliced with a knife. We requested another room but were told they were full. We were FINALLY able to get some tape from the receptionist and tape the slashed screen. We were lied to because there were many empty rooms that were not even cleaned from former guests. Coffee in morning was not ready until 7:00. My husband tried the door at 6:50 and was ignored by the receptionist. We will find another motel that appreciates our business.

On September 30, 2010 I received an email confirmation from them reserving a room for November 26 and 27 while my granddaughter was dancing in The Nutcracker. When we arrived on the 26th, there was a sign across their driveway CLOSED FOR THE SEASON! They closed on November 1st had not notified us and left us totally stranded.
