TERRIBLE! This place is a joke! Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone! Why would I give it a 0 star? Well, let’s start with terrible customer service. Then I called for late check in and when we got there they had given my room away and said that they only had a one bed, smoking room. When I had reserved a 2 bed non smoking bed! Not only did they do this to me but the night before same thing happened to our friend! Oh and the worker says this happens all the time. Even though I book 4 months ago they give the rooms to walk in customers! The front desk lady originally said “ oh I found a single bed non smoking room I can give you, with a roll away and we will comp the room. When she showed up WITH A MATTRESS for the floor, since the roll away was broken! Then proceeded to say “ I just talked to my manager and we can’t comp the room” needless to say we then packed up all the stuff we had just brought to the room and our two kids and headed home, a 5 hour drive at this point it was midnight!

I stay here for work as it's the only approved location. Rooms are not as large as the other ones I stay at. It smells like weed around the rooms and the parking lot. The staff is very friendly, and somewhat knowledge. They could be better trained as far as some of the hotel features. The room I was in had no cell phone service and the staff did not know if I would be charged for dialing a toll free number. Yes, hotels still charge you for this in the 21st century. It's right off the 405 exit, easy to get into, hard to get out of. It's within a mile of the mall.

If we come back, it will be too soon. For the price they charged, they should hsve offered more. When I made the reservations, I was told that breakfast was included. I do not call coffee and a granola-type bar a breakfast of substance. There was no juice or fruit. There was no in-room coffee maker or hair dryer. You had to ask for them but should have been in the rooms. They also did not have shower caps available. There was a two-burner stove, full size refer, and a microwave. The cost was too high for what they offered.

Extended Stay use to be my favorite hotel. But now they are dirty and nasty. Somebody might break into your car. They allow anybody to stay there. A lot of drug users. Service isn't really good because they never have enough people working. I could keep going but I won't.

Great location for someone that knows the area. Bit of a hard time finding the place for the first time though. Also staff was pretty dry cut and prudish except one grave yard shift employee. A young lady. Other than that the rooms were fairly clean, and the fact that the staff wasn't nosey and too up in your business was nice.

The staff is gracious and helpful. Room is clean, with a kitchen, (dishes, pots/pans are available by request) and the bed is comfortable. Location is central for the Takwila Renton area. We stayed a week. This is an "extended" stay hotel. You do not get daily room service, but can get fresh towels, etc. By request any time. I believe cleaning service is only once a week. Fine for us we enjoyed our privacy.

Clean room, pet friendly. Cheep for what you get. Bed was comfortable. Parking lot was well lit. Only thing I could have for breakfast was fruit. Though I am plant based so that is better than most hotels. Thanks for the great service.

This is the most disgusting place I ever stayed at. My husband had to stay here for his work. I left him and came back after 2 months of being gone and the same Dr. Pepper was on the wall, mirror and tv. I cleaned the room myself with bleach and water. Showed the pics to manager. The next day the housekeeper came and I had to tell her to sweep the floor. It still wasn’t done right went and informed the front desk and they resent her to clean room again. Only reason it got a 1 is because I couldn’t post without it.

I have stayed at several ESA's, but this one is dirty, no disgusting. Weird stains on walls, sticky counters, food in corners, dirty floors… later called front desk about cigarette smell that all of a sudden seemed to be permeating through bathroom. She said we have smoking rooms, but failed to mention NOT on my entire ground floor, although they apparently have silent 'smoke alarms'?!?! And yes, it's not very quiet, but that was literally the least of my concerns. Also difficult to enter from one direction (crazy, dangerous uturn option) I suggest spending a little extra money ANYWHERE else…

Definitely not the cleanest or professionally staffed business trip accommodations… I checked in with a party of 4 co-workers after 5pm, we were the second group in line and were asked to stand off to the side while they "made sure our rooms were ready. " Check in took about an hour to complete and the staff over all aside from the manager didn't seem like they had been doing this very long, nor were they warm and inviting. The elevator — Sluggish when opening or closing. Eventually you and your luggage will be able to exit the elevator… Waiting… Waiting. The rooms — Upon entering the room I was hit by a skunky cannabis smell. It was as if someone had started their own grow operation in the room. One of my colleagues found multiple pubic hairs in his bed and I found one above the fridge in my room… Not, quite sure how a pubic hair could arrive there, but it must have been one hell of a night for that dude.

Only reason it has one star is because it won't let you pick no stars on the review. This place sux horrible guest service, it's loud, dirty, lay out is horrible rooms are super tiny, and kinda grungy. Worst extended stay I've been too.

Nothing special outdated but does have a kitchenette.

We stayed here for a couple of months while in transition. It's a simple place that's mostly kept clean. The staff are friendly and warm. If you're looking for a ton of amenities, this isn't the place for you but if you're looking for decent accommodations that are centrally located, this is your spot. Rated 4 stars because housekeeping didn't come regularly. New management took over right as we left, and is addressing the issue.

I had my first experience with bed bugs here. I was given $10 to do my laundry and moved me in another room. This place is nasty! The fire department should burn it to the ground! There is trash in every corner that piles up every day. DO NOT GO HERE! There is a Home2 by Hilton around the corner.

Our room smelled like someone had been smoking in it and then tried to cover the smoke smell with perfume. My whole suitcase needs to be washed today (worn and unworn clothes, hats, etc) because they smell like the motel room. The room was presentable but the floor was filthy. My daughter's feet after walking around the room were black. There was no hair dryer — we had to go to Target and buy a new one. Housekeeping did not come at all. We were very disappointed — — for the price, this experience should have been better.

Not the greatest experience cleanliness could have been stepped up immensely pretty sad breakfast.

Way over priced… The service was not that great and the room was updated but not very clean.

This place is absolutely disgusting. I checked in and the room smelt awful. The sheets and blankets had dirt all over them along with burn holes everywhere. I called the front desk to complain and they said to come get new sheets and everything at the front desk. Didn't even offer for housekeeping to do it for me since that is their job. After removing the sheets and everything I found pee stains along with some other nasty stain. I would not stay here if you care even the slightest bit for your health and welfare. I would give them a 0 star rating if I could.

Decent room. Staff wasn't unfriendly, but not the best. Breakfast situation was dismal.

It was ok. I think housekeeping skipped a few things.

I needed one room for one night before I flew back home from SEATAC. It was very hard finding a hotel with rooms, but the manager here was able to find me a smoking room at a good rate. My wife can't stand smoking and had planned to sleep in the car, but on our return the manager worked out a deal that allowed us to have a non smoking room. I was very thankful for the over the top service and effort to provide for our needs. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we felt safe.

Extended Stay America — Seattle — Southcenter is a well managed hotel with pleasant Front Desk staff that made the difference in my experience. The hotel could use some improvements in terms of the property itself.

Its quiet clean and staff is willing to help kitchenetts with All dishes avail. Stove microwave and fridge.

The first room smelled awful and was definitely not a non smoking room. They re-accommodated us with another room but it was NOT as clean as I expected, the top cover had stains on it, the mattress was so uncomfortable and just felt OLD! The bathroom had ants which I did not see until my last night there, the carpet felt old and dirty. The outer appearance was dirty, it needed a good sweep and cleaning maybe even a pressure wash cleaning. The elevator buttons were even filthy! Even the hours for breakfast that ended at 9:30 seemed lame especially on a weekend?! Even 30 minutes longer could have made all the difference. The lobby was dirty and the attendant was so inept. It took him 15 minutes to get our information in the computer and to process our payment. He kept apologizing and blaming it on a slow computer system. I will NEVER stay at an Extended Stay again and I will make sure that I tell anyone I can about our HORRID experience at this location and I will be posting this on the reviews for your hotel and this location!

Its not the best but its not the worst.

I read one review and went with it. Not that excited about this place. Would have rather spent the extra $15 and went with any other hotel around this place. Bed is extremely stiff. Bathroom had mold in it. Kitchen had half of what was shown on the card. The breakfast is old apples, cereal bars, and small muffins. Good, but not for the price of this place.

Have to admit, this has not been the fanciest hotels I have stayed at before. But it has been one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had with a hotel. The staff is over the top helpful! It is amazing to see that quality customer service is still being offered! I would recommend this 2 star hotel to anyone wanting to visit the Seattle area over most of the 4 star hotels. I can not begin to even describe how impressed I am with this place. Thank you for going the extra mile for your guests extended stay hotel! Oh and a special thanks to the late night and morning crew. Melissa and Shelley were delightful to work with and made check in a breeze.
