This review is for the "extended" stay portion of the hotel. It IS new. So the beds are nice, and pillows are excellent. Not sure how they will be in a few years, but for now, they are fantastic. This is a pet friendly hotel. That means, you better SUPER LOVE dogs. I mean and not be annoyed by showers from them coming in from a trip to the river, or barking at all hours. Oh, and dog hair needs to not bug you AT ALL. It may or may not be tracked in by housekeeping and or left under the bed because they can get under there. I've got very bad allergies. So the pet hair was a problem. Dogs are supposed to be in kennels, but that didn't happen. The dogs sniffed under doors, and if you startled them, them they would try to escape the room. Understand, you WILL have pet hair in your room. If you want sheets changed more frequently than once a week, you need to let them know at check in. You will need to bring down dirty towels. They don't bring them up to you if you are between cleaning days. Dishes are not provided due to health department regulations. Laundry is on site. $1.00 wash/ $1.00 dry. You will need to bring or buy soap and dryer sheets. Only one washer has a liquid softener compartment. There are a total of four washers and dryers. The centennial trail is across the street. Views are spectacular. I've attached a few pictures for reference. You really need to watch that road though, people speed. Lights do come in from the window from freeway traffic. Trucks will rattle the windows. Candy and treats are reasonably priced all things considering. Melissa is fantastic. As far as staff goes, she's the best. Very helpful, always friendly even when check in lines are long and her shift has been long. The rest of front counter staff are less pleasant. Not the worst, but she's the best. Attitude goes along way. Had it not been for Melissa, the hotel would have been rated much lower. There is no ice maker. There is no workout area. No pool. There is nothing for kids to do other than watch television. Most guests are older. They seem annoyed by kids. They will complain if your kids are even a little loud. (I heard other parents mention that. No one complained about ours, but they did about others). The walls are paper thin. If your neighbor has a more active sex life than you, you'll know. Those doors around you are LOUD. There is no outdoor area tables or chairs at all. It's trail, eatery, or room. Pity, as the North side has a lovely view. I love being outside, even if it's noisy. There is no breakfast. They offer "breakfast" for $4.95, but please be aware, it's frozen Jimmy Dean meals. It will not be prepared for you. You still have to make your own food. Tea and coffee are provided in the meeting area. One day of coffee is provided in room only. The pot is regular sized. Bring your own basket filters and coffee. The fridge is fairly large for a hotel, which I was grateful for. The stove is a two burner. Camper stoves are bigger. The kitchen sink is awful. It is seriously super small. The shower liner funnels everything on your feet. It's lame. The curtain sprays water ALL over the bathroom. The layout of the room is funky. If the fridge is open, you cannot get in the room. It is VERY small for an extended stay. If you forget small things: toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, etc. You will need to pay for it. When they say, "funds may be held" that is not an exaggeration. We're talking ten business days. Even if they "accidently hold the wrong amount of funds, " that money is gone. Check your statements and make sure you've authorized all charges. All in all, it's not horrible. When there are errors, they work hard to make it right. But if you need "more, " you need to spend more.

Nightly rates from $117
