The inn was nice and comfortable. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. We were able to come in at midnight and get into our room quickly and check out quickly in the morning as well.

Nice quiet place, clean rooms…

Stayed in room 335 and had a beautiful view of the harbor. Room was very specious and clean. Decently priced. Staff could have been more inviting. Seemed like all they were concerned about was the money. The complimentary breakfast wasn't that amazing and wasn't worth getting outta bed earlier then planned but if your already awake it's free. All in all great place to stay. Good location. Take some stairs right into down town and there's a Safeway right around the corner.

The location of the inn was great. Downtown was easily accessible and in a walkable distance. The rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. The ocean view was great as well.

Only two blocks from the pier, good old small town motel with very clean rooms and extremely helpful and present staff. I definitely was pleasantly surprised.

Comfortable rooms… ours came with a spectacular harbor view… and a very nice breakfast. Only problem was that the promised free Wi-Fi was mostly non-existent.

Although the rooms were clean, I thought the rooms were expensive for what you get. We stayed in July and there is no air conditioning in the room. Just a fan on a stand that was broken and the room was uncomfortable for sleeping. They need to install air conditioning if they are charging close to $200 per night.

I work here and love the care put into this place.

I stayed in room 239, which must have formerly been the innkeeper's quarters. It was a large room with a residential feel, intensely 1970's decor, and a couple mysterious doors padlocked shut. My main qualms with the room were directed at the bathroom. It had thick carpet and the tub was sunken below a strange tiled platform. The tub drained poorly and the stopper lifter was broken with the stopper needing to be pried up manually. The room was clean, though there were some minor spots on the bathroom carpet. The room had a standing fan but no air-conditioning and very small casement windows lacking screens. It was hot and a bit stuffy on the June night I spent there. Some might have found the room luxurious in its largeness and its retro decor charming, but I like my motel rooms to be entirely conventional and regard carpet in a bathroom as unsanitary.

Clean, and well maintained. Staff was friendly, and breakfast was lovely.

Outstanding. I visit Port Angeles once or twice a year for business and once I discovered this place it has been the only place I will stay. Yes, it's old and a little funky, but it is very clean and comfortable and just one block from a grocery store in one direction and a set of stairs (ok, yeah, a long and steep set of stairs! ) from downtown shops and restaurants and a fantastic natural foods grocery store. I have only stayed during the off season, and the price has been very reasonable. And the employees are friendly and helpful!

Annoyed. Listening to the staff complain about everyone and everything as we are eating breakfast. I reported at 6am that we have no water for the tub/shower, maintenance will not be here to 9. I am here for 3 days. I paid over 300 dollars for this! We have stayed here in the past and we had a wonderful experience. Not sure why this time is so damn disorganized. I hope to change my review some day but not today …

Stunningly beautiful view of bay and downtown. Very friendly helpful staff! Clean and spacious rooms… Look forward to spending more time in Port Angeles and this will be our hotel of choice!

Was a little hesitant at the price of $66 a night, but that landed us a room with a king sized bed, gorgeous view of the Sound, and a 5 min walk to most bars within the downtown Port Townsend area. Room was very clean, and breakfast was provided.

Simple check in process. Clean and quiet. Easy walk to the downtown area too.

Great place to spend time and relax. Excellent location, close to down town and ferry to Victoria. The staff and the free breakfast are both wonderful.

I booked a room for a wonderful weekend getaway. Wonderful it was. Staff was exceptionally friendly, pricing was affordable, the room was clean, and the views were stellar. If I'm ever back in Port Angeles, staying here will be "Inn" my mind. Ouch, that was a bad pun.

I was a little worried when my wife booked a hotel for $65. Despite being older the rooms were clean, Wi-Fi was good, and the bed was comfortable. Walking distance to downtown.

Great hotel! The room and bathroom were clean and nice, bigger than expected and besides the regular amenities also had a little table with two chairs; great view to bay. Front desk lady was accomedating and really nice, and they also have a great breakfast with waffles. Definitely we're coming back.

I forgot my shirt in the room after we left and they called me within 30 minutes! So nice. Room was clean with a nice view. Didn't get up in time for the free breakfast.

Cleanest room I've stayed in for awhile. Although it's stuck in a time warp, the bedding and drapery was new. Great veiw of the harbor.

We routinely drive out to the peninsula of Washington State and when we do the Port Angeles in is our go-to place. A wonderful walk down the stairs puts you into downtown with wonderful shops and eateries. You are walking distance to the ferry. And half hour from Hurricane Ridge.

Fairly basic room but it was exactly what I wanted while visiting Port Angeles, and the price was right. Very clean room, small fridge and microwave, pretty good TV and comfortable bed. Staff was very nice as well. Absolutely no complaints, will definitely stay here when I come back.

Nice large rooms and bathrooms, gorgeous view of the harbor, elevator to upper floors, complimentary breakfast, Central to downtown, Everything you need is 1 or 2 city blocks away (gas, Safeway, bars, restaurants, epic views, all down business, the black ball ferry, and ice cream :-)

It was a typical motel. Nice location in the city. Rooms were very small, old and cheap. But it was clean. I just expecting a more updated hotel. It is a 2.5 star hotel.

I played a CD release party at The New Moon Craft Tavern down the road from the Port Angeles Inn. My Record label hired a cinematography crew to film my videos and the CEO and founder, as well as the film crew stayed the night. They treated my label with the utmost respect and even let us know that we left some equipment behind and the housekeeper ran the tri pod to us. They were professional and trustworthy. I glady recommend this place to anyone who deserves a quality night stay. Much appreciated Port Angeles Inn staff.

Clean, comfy, friendly and a filling continental breakfast. Slept like a baby on the comfy bed and perfect location for walking downtown and enjoying the waterfront.

We had a room with a beautiful view of the water. Free breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30am, with waffle maker! Super great! Would probably book again if we're planning to be in Port Angeles again soon.

A comfy little hotel close to the water. They're close to everything going on in Port Angeles, the room was nice and clean, and it's definitely one of the cheaper options for an overnight stay. If you're not looking for a luxury resort and just want an inexpensive but cozy place to stay for the night, this is a great spot.

Good location just blocks from waterfront park, shopping and restaurants. Reasonably priced. Lobby and exterior need facelift. Some local "street people" hanging out nearby were loud and obnoxious during the night.

Fantastic stay with large rooms and comfortable beds. The rings have a mini fridge and microwave and if you get a room on the third floor you will be treated to fantastic views of the straits and also the Olympic mountains all for a very reasonable price. The location is perfect as you are only one block away from the heart of downtown and all the shops and restaurants. Plus there is a Safe Way only one block away as well. The price is also very competitive and reasonable.

Great location near steps to walk into downtown Port Angeles. Great views of both the mountains and water. Staff is nice and a good free breakfast is available. The room is small but cozy and clean with a fridge and microwave. The free Wi-Fi is fast and has a good signal. It is close to good food and grocery stores, and it is very easy to get to many places in Olympic National Park, including the visitor center, Hurricane Ridge, and Lake Crescent.

It's an older hotel but well maintained, very clean and the staff was excellent. The view from my room is quite arguably the best view of Port Angeles ever. The location is great. 2 minutes walk to Downtown and a minute walk to Safeway. I'm very pleased with my stay here, totally recommend. I'd give 10 stars if that was an option!

We were looking for a hotel in Port Angeles since my niece lives there we will return often. The Port Angeles Inn is very close. We booked online so you are never really sure what your going to get. We got very friendly greeting and warm welcome. We had room 228 which was very clean, good beds and lots of pillows and very warm comforters. Also a fantastic view! The room has been mostly updated and was just perfect for us and it was nice to have an elevator as well. In the morning we went to breakfast where we had some options which was nice. We chatted with the resident manager and just thought she was wonderful. We told her we would definitely be back. So glad we found our little get away hotel.

This a nice quiet place (a block of main drag, not like other places on main drag). Nice helpful folks work here. Clean rooms, nicely furnished. Plenty of places to walk to, bars and restaurants, grocery store, to walk to (Try the Lazy Moon Tavern), Get a portside room on the 2nd or 3rd floor for best view around. Would definitely stay here again. Thank You.

Not what we expected. In dire need of an update; bedspread hasn't been cleaned in how long? Located above a busy truck route and with the windows open, heavy trucks going along seemed constant. Breakfast was meager. Price was the highest we paid on our trip, for the least enjoyable room. We know it's high season, but we also expected a little better. The view was nice.

We made reservations online and for an additional $15, opted for the room with a "harbor view". When we checked into the motel, we were given a room on the first floor. Although it was on the harbor side, the view was obstructed by overgrown vegetation. Very disappointing! We expressed our concern at the front desk and we were offered a room on the third floor with an increased rate of $20 more! We finally negotiated for the original NON — harbor view room and so the rate was cut by the $15 for the "view". The room was stuffy, dark and felt like a dungeon. There was no AC so with the high temperature, the room was hot and the oscillating fan didn't provide much relief. The window looked out onto an alley way and there was a lot of foot traffic while we were there, so leaving the window open was not an option. It seemed like this may have been a storage room at one time and then converted to a motel room — small and low ceiling. On the positive side, although the motel was a bit dated, the furnishings were in fairly good condition and the room was clean — except for the dusty spider web above the hanging light fixture. We will definitely look for other accommodations when we visit Port Angeles in the future!

My wife and I recently completed a 320 mile 6 night bicycle tour of the Olympic Peninsula. The Port Angeles Inn was the third night on this trip. While checking in, the women at the counter brought to my attention a printout attached to the counter stating that they would not allow bicycles in the rooms, instead they had a garage to house them. When I asked about the garage, she told me that it was the one that the staff uses to store supplies for the rooms. Employees had access to the garage all day and the door was wide open. I explained that I was not comfortable with this (I did not tell here that our bikes and equipment had cost us over $8, 000). She told me that she "did not understand my issue" and that "this was standard practice" for bikes (this was the only place that would not allow bikes in rooms). Because it was late in the afternoon, we accepted this and paid $132 for the room. Our room had a window overlooking the parking lot. It appeared to be a storage unit that had been converted into a room. The outside construction clearly indicated that it had been added on. Car bumpers ran right up against our wall and window with no sidewalk between. We couldn't keep our window and drapes open for ventilation because employees used our section of the lot to congregate. No A/C, but we were provided with a pedestal fan. I would not recommend this place.

Went to Port Angeles for work and wanted to return for a weekend getaway. Didn't make reservations, drove around and considered the Red Lion, but saw online it was much more and seemed incredibly noisy. Lucked out and got the last room here for $89, top floor, king size bed, amazing view of the whole town. Staff was helpful and friendly, room was clean and had everything we needed, slept great and had a quiet night. Plenty of parking. For the price and the view you can't beat it.

Very interesting hotel well situated. It's like a trip within a trip! All in all a pleasant stay, and for the convenient location and amenities was a steal at the rate I paid. I'd stay here again if I was trying to be on a budget.

Yes, this is a wonderful vintage hotel. My room was spacious with a beautiful harbor view, and the bathroom was as big as mine at home! Perfectly located to enjoy walking downtown and the waterfront. The man running the front desk was warm and helpful in just the right way. Check out the sitting area behind the hotel for a great water view and place to hang out. Great value for the money — — it'll be my go-to hotel in Port Angeles.

Port Angeles Inn is a wonderful vintage motel. The room was very nice, very well up-kept vintage furniture and all the modern day comforts too, including new flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Service was excellent and the view was phenomenal! I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding anniversary in October, 2007. People were very accomadating and friendly. Rooms were good sized with everything you will need. As some said rooms are slight dated but was not an issue for us. Very nice free breakfast. Priced right, well worth the money.
