Oh trust me, you do not want to stay in this hotel, the house keeping department is pathetic, they don't even bother to dump used cans, my table was not wiped for 8 days until I stayed back and personally requested for it, and the worst was yet to come, the other day I found hairs in my fresh towels, at-least that is what they called it, I had no shampoo in bathroom for 2 back to back days I waited for another day to check if they would be kind enough to refill it without me telling them but they made sure I go disappointed, I have another week to stay and I am keeping my fingers for them not making it any hard on me.

The room and service were wonderful. But I have to be honest: the lobby smells very strong for some reason. And to me it kind of smells like a cat litter. It was pungent. Thank goodness it's not in the rooms or hallways, just the lobby.

A+ service from Patel who made you feel like a million dollars. Platinum member who was touched by the work ethic and his personal attention to every guest. My wife and I rode the Capital Bike Trail from Hotel and Patel made our journey special. Great companies hire Great people!

Convenient location makes it a short walk to many restaurants, shops, museums in the downtown area. Clean rooms, helpful staff and excellent breakfast made this an enjoyable stay during our visit to Richmond.

Service and rooms are great, very clean.

We spent one night at the Richmond Residence Inn Downtown and it was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. Every single employee went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. We felt valued and appreciated as customers. Kudos to everyone at this hotel!

Room was clean and staff very courteous. Parking for valet is 26 dollars per day. No pool. Lots of cute bars and restaurants nearby.

Great overall, the suites are nice. Good, free breakfast. The knock is only that the staff isn't knowledgeable and passes the buck. For example, the high speed internet wasn't working and I was told to contact the ISP. What would an ISP do if one calls as a hotel guest without account number etc?

Everyone there was so incredibly nice. The rooms were well equipped, breakfast was really good and for those who stay a long time they can even do your grocery shopping for you! They had a nice bar right outside playing live music too, unfortunetly we were too tired to check that out but it looked popping.

Beautiful suites and great location! Walking distance from local bars and attractions. Only a few mins drive to VCU, Carytown and the Fan!

Everyone that worked there was incredibly helpful and nice. Breakfast was nice and close to many restaurants.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The bay across the street had a noisey outdoor band, but the hotel room was very nice outside of that.

The staff was gracious and their generous hospitality was a pleasant surprise. From stepping out behind the desk to hand the room key, to holding our luggage in a locked room while we were at conference, to offering to get transportation set up for us back to the airport. They went above and beyond in every detail. Their professionalism and hospitality is top notch! I would recommend staying here and will stay here again if ever in this area again!

Easily the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Large, very nice suites. Had a 6th floor room on the courtyard. Lots of street noise. There is a night club across the street with loud music all night. Not only can you hear the DJ clearly, you can hear the angry patrons and couples arguing outside. I kept checking multiple times to see if a window was open because the sounds were so clear, but alas they were closed. Maybe this place is quieter on weekdays, but if I needed a relaxing nights rest I would pick a different hotel… despite all the luxuries of the rooms.

We had an awesome time November 6 & 7 2015. Ryan was excellent helping us out and getting us situated. We will definitely be back.

Front desk personnel excellent and caring demeanor. Dalzell (I hope I got that right) was a joy to work with. Our room was very large and spacious as well as comfortable, quiet and clean. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.
