Celebrated our 46th class reunion there last night. The staff was great to work with, helping us in every aspect. Setting up for us. Helping clean up and take down our decorations. Anything we ask for they saw we got it. All the staff was so helpful and friendly. The suites are huge and awesome. A great place for an event or just to stay there. BTW, we only live 3 miles from it and chose to stay. Kudos to Appomattox Inn and Suites 👍

This place is absolutely beautiful! I feel like I'm back in the 1800's. BEAUTIFUL inside and out. The staff is so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. I'm blown away by all the history here. My husband and I are so pleased we decided to stay here for our little three day trip, and I very highly recommend it!

The rooms were great. I liked the bar up front and the breakfast. With the Surrender Grounds just up the road, it's a nice compliment.

One of the very best hotels we have ever stayed at! The most comfortable beds and pillows… it was like sleeping on a ‘cloud! ’

Although my family only got to stay one night we were very impressed. The staff was super friendly at all times. It was a very clean environment. Also the continental breakfast had lots of options. We would definitely stay there again!

Just wanted to say that Appomattox Inn & Suites was an awesome place to have a wedding. Dana was awesome to work with and the staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Beautiful and spacious room included a sofa. Only one issue. Bathroom door was made like a sliding barn door but did not fully cover opening. Not much privacy.

Great stay! Lounge bar open till 1am, friendly staff, highly recommend this place.

There is staff there that are racist who decided to threaten high school kids lives and put notes on their doors calling them the “N” word and told them if they didn’t leave they would kill them. The kids had to be escorted out of the hotel by state troopers. Reevaluate your disgusting emploees.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It had a wonderful lounge and lobby, the breakfast was decent for a hotel. Their coffee was one of the best I've tasted in all the different hotels I've been to. The rooms are well kept and the service and patience exceptional. When I visited here with my family, our cards would be demagnetized due to the cell phones. Every time we came down, they just recharged it with a smile. I would have to say. Probably one of the best hotels. This is a must if you are going on vacation in Virginia. Amazing.

Only been here two days and have found it to be very nice. The front desk was very helpful when we checked in. The room is. Nice and clean. Will. Be here for a couple more days and so glad we were able to book here.

I didn't stay the night however I was super impressed with the lobby. It was very nice and had the feel of like a Hilton or other name brand hotel. Has a nice bar.

Elegant and timeless hospitality easily accessible to local attractions. Appomattox Inn and Suites feels like home and they treat you like family. I give this a Inn top scores in personal safety. The staff is well trained in allergy prevention and possess stellar food safety skills. Their safety score is a 10/10, kid friendly, handicap accessible this jewel shines brighter than the rest.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's 2 yrs old and sits in a space surrounded by not much! However, their customer service is stellar! The rooms are just the right size for whatever your needs, and the beds are comfortable and inviting. There is a pool and a patio area thats gated away from the pool where you can relax, chill maybe watch a Sunset. They have a little wine bar and cozy seating area too. The Continental Breakfast is included and wasn't bad. The place is spotless no crumbs, spilled coffee or sticky sugar drops in the dining area (huge for continental). When we arrived after landing in Richmond, then having to go directly to see my Grandmother who was not well with the temps reaching 97" in the shade, my MoM didn't feel well. The Appomattox Inn and Suites was so very kind and let us check in early so she could lay down and I could go back and visit my ailing Grandmother. That intentional act of kindness will forever remain in my memory and I would recommend this hotel to anyone just for that alone. But, also the accommodations were very nice as well. The only thing that I would suggest is to have a restaurant where you can sit down and have a 'home' cooked meal or partner with a restaurant to open near you (there are your basic fast-food joints within range and jack of all trade gas station where you can get a hot meal, libations, lottery and single size over the counter rx). So a restaurant family style, would serve this establishment well!

Nice hotel, reasonable prices, friendly service, well appointed. Would have given them a 5 star, but I didn't like the bathroom door. It was one of those sliding barn-style doors which left a gap when closed … not very private for a bathroom. Anybody walking by the door could see into the bathroom.

Room was great. Staff was nice. Breakfast was delicious! Would recommend to anyone!

We booked the Event Room for my daughter's wedding reception, and stayed in the guest rooms several nights. The staff and management went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Prices and fees were definitely reasonable for a hotel of this quality. It is nice to stay somewhere that the staff always has a smile, and truly seems interested in making your stay enjoyable.

I was going to a graduation in the area, so most hotels were booked. I called the Appomattox Inn and Suites and luckily, they had availability. The rooms were MUCH nicer than I expected, especially for the price. It was nicer than most Holiday Inns I’ve been to, and cheaper. The shower, at least in the room I stayed, was brand new with all glass door and wall with no bathtub. The beds were comfortable and the room clean. On top of all that, there was a pretty good breakfast buffet gratis. Plenty of parking, also free, no charge for Wi-Fi, and an outdoor pool open 9-9. I didn’t go to the bar indoors but it looked good.

Excellent service, friendly staff, extremely comfortable beds. This is one of the best hotels I have ever encountered. We stayed in the king suite with a small kitchen and separate living space. Highly recommended.

We held our company offsite here. The staff made us feel right at home. Clean, professional, and friendly. The only drawback was the lack of onsite restaurant.

Very clean rooms! Breakfast didnt have any meat. Other than what was in the sausage gravy. But other than that it would get 5 stars.

We stayed at Appomattox Inn and Suites a couple days after Christmas. It was very comfortable with a spacious room. The staff was friendly. Everything is brand new since it's only been open a short time as far as I know. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town. The rates are very reasonable.

Fam and I stayed at this hotel back in Aug. It is super SUPER clean & nice, and service was nice. But the problem I had was with Alexis during my reserving a room. When I asked her if they give a military discount, for some reason, she snootily responded with, "Well, you have to come with someone who has a military ID. " Ummm, a simple, "We sure do! " or "Yes we do, just show an ID upon arrival! " would have been expected, as that's the response I normally get. Because of how Alexis spoke to me, I asked if people try to get a discount without an ID, and she said, "Yes. " But regardless, that doesn't give her a reason to speak to ANY customer the way she spoke to me! I called back and talked with Dana, the general manager, I believe, and she was apologetic and very kind! Only thing, she mentioned that Alexis is normally pleasant. Well, that would raise a BIGGER question, in my mind, regarding her behavior. Also, though I have Confederate ancestors, the souvenirs and things were a bit much for me. But, overall, our stay was EXCELLENT!

This is a great place! Breakfast is good, room was nice, lobby was also very nice.

Friendly staff and great place. Has a pool and bar (only beer or wine). The fitness center is kind of a joke though. Something like 2 bike and a treadmill. Would have been better to put in more washers/dryers as there are only 1 of each and they were constantly being used. The pool and patio are nice except the highway runs behind them and the noise from the vehicles can get annoying. That could be fixed with some planted trees though and isn't all that bad. They have a conference room as well that frequently had some kind of art thing. All things considered it is the best place to stay in Appomattox if you have a little more to spend on a room.

We stayed at this hotel this past weekend and were very happy. The rooms were large and very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is a breakfast buffet that offered biscuits and gravy, cereal, scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, and fresh fruit. We stayed three nights and very satisfied with the service and friendliness of everyone. This hotel is also just a mile or so from downtown, very close to the Historical Park and other Appomattox amenities. I highly recommend this for a one night stay or an extended visit.

Awesome hotel, seems new. Super clean and the internet is excellent. The only reason for the 4 star and not 5 is the location; not much around for food however there's a sweet civil war museum right up the road. Highly suggest this establishment.

We had a birthday party yesterday and it was the best yet! pool was awesome and people were friendly! highly recommend it!

The inn is well equipped with all the necessary item need for a comfortable stay. Centrally located close to stores restaurants and other convenient necessities. A wish choice to stay.

Would stay here again. Negatives-stained towels, small pool for newness of property & price. Nicely appointed rooms. Good breakfast. Bar is at registration desk.

It is a brand-new hotel in historic Appomattox. It is reasonably priced and CLEAN! With wonderful staff that are extremely helpful. I loved my stay.

This was one of the best hotel stays I have had in YEARS. From the first call, to check out everything was top quality. The rooms were SUPER CLEAN, (2nd floor staff / A+ kudos on a super clean room)! The beds were SO comfortable (didn't want to get out of bed), the shower had great water pressure (loved the glass shower). I must have met 10 people and every single person was friendly and pleasant. Jonathan was super helpful and both Alyssa and Jennifer were knowledgeable about the area and extremely welcoming, we even took a Selfie (hope y'all win)! The breakfast was awesome, everything was fresh and Joyce was one of the nicest ladies, smiles and just a Gem of a lady! The people can make or break a stay and I was just blown away by such a nice group of people! I wish I had asked everyone for their names so all could have been given a proper "shout out" by name to all! The management staff should be proud of everyone on staff this weekend! If I am ever in the Appomattox area again, this will be my "Go To", hands down! Already planning a trip in April! Thanks to all for a wonderful experience!

Great place, great prices! Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The staff were very friendly. If I ever stay in the Lynchburg/Appomattox area, this will be my go to Hotel!

My boyfriend and I were winging it on vacation and came across this jewel. We had no great expectations as we were being spontaneous and had not planned where to stay. The moment we walked in the door, we were greeted by a big smile and friendly voice. Jonathan checked us in and was wonderful. He was informative and helpful. After checking in we walked through the very nicely appointed and furnished lobby. Very tasteful decor. We walked in to our room and were immediately impressed again with the decor. Very well done. The room was spacious and had a mini fridge and microwave. The bed was amazing. It was a king bed but felt larger and was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in away from home. The bathroom was very spacious and the shower was huge. We did not have a bathtub but the oversized shower made up for it. The bathroom was attractive (as attractive as bathrooms can be lol). The free Continental breakfast was very good. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, etc. Very filling and tasty. We also enjoyed the bar off of the lobby. Jonathan was our bartender and was funny and attentive. If ever in the area, we will happily stay there again.

Clean room, amazing service. This hotel is a gem. If you are a big history buff and are taking in the Lynchburg area or just passing through Virginia, you HAVE to stay here. Amazing for the price. We will definitely be back. Wonderful staff and atmosphere, very quiet.

Excellent experience. Very friendly, knowledgeable front desk staff, extraordinarily clean, nice touches everywhere, easy in and out, well maintained breakfast buffet. I'm hard to please and could find nothing to improve. Extraordinary value for the cost.

This is literally the best experience I have ever gotten out of a hotel. The staff was amazingly welcoming and friendly, not to mention they have a great sense of humor. The entire building is non smoking, and all for a price that cannot be beat. Comfortable beds, easy to find location, all complimented by a great rustic theme. My wife and I were here for our first anniversary, and its a place that we would definitely stay again.
