Bob and his wife are the true stars of this hotel. I found the hotel itself average at best. Beds were too firm and pillows too small for my tastes. As far as the management and staff tho? Stellar! They created an atmosphere of a much higher quality hotel!

We got a room with a suite with a jetted tub and loved it. The bed was super comfy, and everything seemed very clean. The complementary breakfast was nice, and I noticed there was a pool and spa accessible. There were only 2 full sized towels in our room, it would have been nice to have extras.

My in laws are staying at the hotel right now. We stopped by to visit them in their room. It was nice and clean. Was very comfortable size wise and the couch was a nice touch. The only negative was the elevator. It was very hot and loud. The noises the elevator made had us afraid we were going to get stuck. Other than that, it's a nice hotel.

1. Horrible customer service from the moment we walked in the door. Very rude, very unwelcoming staff/management. I watched them treat other customers with great respect while my family was treated very poorly. 2. During our stay we were asked if it would be okay to shampoo the carpets while we were here, and I was also told that it would be to our benefit? So we left the hotel to get breakfast to let them get their work done (even though they should have just shampooed the carpets after we were checked out & gone) and when we came back to our room our door was left open and nothing had been cleaned at all, carpet not shampooed, beds not made, dirty towels left behind. Brought it up to management and nothing was done and he handled the situation very very poorly over the phone. (Mind you we had belongings / valuables in our room while our door was left unlocked by a staff member) 3. Very dirty, they leave dirt marks on floor near elevator / pool door all day long from people walking from the pool. Don't waste a penny here!

The service was great and the beds were pretty comfy. The breakfast was questionable if I'm being honest. Maybe add more things to the options. Other than that, it was a great visit. 10/10 would go again.

The hotel isn't what I would call a "dive". The lobby is upgraded to look clean and inviting, the rooms and pool area need help. Another review mentioned the smell, upon arriving and for a few hours after I wouldn't agree. During the night, near 1:00AM something that smells similar to burnt cookies or when large coffee suppliers roast their beans saturated our room. So much it took awhile to get back to sleep, fearing the facility was on fire. I would've been more content if the price was lower, a higher end hotel chain was across the street and for $8.00 more I would've rather stayed their. I could stay here again with a last minute reservation but better quality or better value can be had with some planning.

I really like this hotel and the staff is really friendly. We stayed here for about two months and they were great. Free breakfast. Pool and hot tub was nice. Enjoyed staying here.

Excellent experience. Front desk staff was beyond friendly and welcoming. Bob helped me check in and made sure all accommodations where met. Such pleasant personas! The room was perfect for what we needed, clean and very spacious. We will return again soon.

Delightfully pleasant greeting at the front desk, quiet setting boardering a residential area, but still close to the freeway and convenient for travellers with pups. A little tricky to find the entrance (turn in BEFORE the hotel). Suite with the jetted tub was a treat!

This hotel stay was great! The night staff was wonderful and friendly, the hotel lobby and rooms were clean, comfortable beds, and a nice shower head. It looked like it might have been remodeled recently. They also had a good breakfast included. The day staff was too busy on his cell phone to talk to me when I checked out but the rest of the experience was fantastic.

La Quinta Inn & Suites North Orem is an ideal place to stay individually, family, or groups. Very cozy, clean, and quiet place to stay with indoor pool, gym, Jacuzzi, and business center all at reasonable rates. I stayed here in May 2017. Room was clean and very quiet. Good bed and very reasonable prices. I found it to be in an ideal location and central to my business needs and for shopping nearby. Close to the Interstate. If you read my reviews, I prefer "mom & pop" non chains but sometimes this isn't available. Again, the room was clean, modern and no issues with the staff, etc. Would stay here again for sure.

My in laws visited here recently and loved it. Their room was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The hotel lobby had been renovated since we were last at the hotel and was much nicer and more open. We'd definitely have the in laws stay here again.

Pros: The Jacuzzi tub was awesome and the rooms had a lot of room. Good cable TV selection. Fridge and microwave available. Neutral: Just a typical breakfast, nothing to be excited about. Overall good cleanliness, but crumbs in the stairwells, etc. Cons: The king size bed seemed broken in one corner. My wife had to crowd my half of the bed in order for the blood to not rush to her head while sleeping. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Great location with proximity to I-15, restaurants and shopping, but not in the heart of downtown. At the top of a hill, so great view of Utah lake. Indoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, laundry. Room mostly comfortable. Bed above average but the pillows hurt my wife's neck. Water pressure on shower was inconsistent and at times pitiful (3rd floor, around 10am). Lobby is bright and welcoming. Carts available for hauling luggage. We would stay here again, but bring our own pillows.

The exterior of the hotel was pleasant with ample parking, and the hotel itself felt spacious. I was pleased with the amenities, including a convenience store and pool. The rooms were nicely renovated. I enjoyed the jacuzzi. However, it was easy to hear people walking above my room and people in adjacent rooms. The shower drain kept closing during my shower, leading to a bathlike experience. My wife also noticed pet hair on the coach. Overall, with the size of the room and smaller nitpickings aside, the experience was good. A great value that I would recommend. The location is very convenient too and staff were fairly friendly.

Very clean, friendly and attentive staff. If theres any issues and you bring it to their awareness they always fix said issue.

Terrible. Just terrible. We were traveling 11 hours to make it to this destination (booked 1 month in advance), with 2 babies under 6 mos, and 2 younger children 4 yo and 7 yo. We gave the front desk a courtesy call to let them know we would be a late check-in around 9pm. We arrived at 9:17pm and were told our room had been "given away". The young man argued with my husband and said, "we tried to call you and there was no answer, so we gave your room away. We're all booked up". Even after showing them the call log on our cell phone to show when we called them, and to justify that we never received a phone call from them, there was NO sympathy for an exhausted family who had to load cranky kiddos back up in the car. We ended up calling 4 hotels and all were full. The Hampton Inn in Provo was AMAZING and sympathetic to our situation. They got us a room and were very pleasant to work with. We will NOT be staying at a La Quinta ever again.

Great stay! All non-smoking rooms, new bedding, dogs allowed with security deposit, full breakfast. The staff is very helpful, the place smells nice, and the pillows are to die for!

Great location, quiet, very lovely hotel, great pricing! I rate the hotel a 10 because they have breakfast! The rooms are beautiful, very comfty, BUT the cleaning needs work with dusting all the furniture was dusty, the coffee area, and bathroom as well. Changing the shower curtain would be nice too! So I rate the room a 6. Will DEFINITELY come here again. I love this hotel :)

Showing some wear and the cleaning is not so good. The middle is kind of cleaned but not the corners. They allow pets so that should have been a clue. Desk clerk is friendly but didn't send anyone to fix a TV problem. Good location, adequate parking.

Grandparents were in town so we met up with them at the hotel for some swimming. The pool and hot tub were typical for a hotel. The water was very cold. The hot tub was very hot. We had a lot of fun.

I was so tired when we got here, been in the car driving all day. They were so welcoming and the rooms are really nice. Gotta love a jetted tub in the room too ;) my husband and I will definitely be staying here again.

I'm not too pleased. The rooms are very nice and clean, but here it is 930 pm and I have requested a crib 3x. The first time was and hour before we checked in. Second was when we checked in. This is unacceptable. Every time we travel, we stay at a La Quinta and have never had a problem with a crib being in our room before we even check in. If you have an infant, DO NOT STAY AT THIS LA QUINTA!

Highlight of the hotel is the service. Whenever we needed something, the desk people were very helpful. The room was clean but simple. The pool inside is quite small and the hottub can only have 3 people at a time, so we didn't get much of a chance at it. The breakfast was good, with a few hot things and a good number of choices.

This hotel was great, we loved the pool and the hot tub. They had plenty of towels ready for us when we got out.

Very pet friendly. Each room is pet friendly, so a special room request isn't needed. There's a large grassy area right outside the hotel to take pets out. Room was comfortable and spacious and more toiletries are available by request. Definitely would stay here again.

NEVER, NEVER stay here! Worst hotel I have ever seen. The hotel was being "remodeled". I was never told this when booking my reservation. It was FILTHY! Mattresses were stacked in hallways. The floors were covered in dust and debris and paint and carpet glue fumes were horrible. The first room we were give had water pouring out of the light fixture above the shower. A dog barked continually in the room next door, construction went on until after 8:00 p. M. Neither the phone in our room or the elevator worked, AND they turned the water off in our room at 5:00 p. M. Without telling us. My daughter was in the shower getting ready for a dance performance that we were there for. When the water was turned off we checked out and found a new hotel. They charged my card for two additional nights that we did not use and were told that they would NOT be charged when we checked out. Worst customer service. I am still trying to get a refund. Ruined our trip! I would give zero stars in that were an option.

The staff were delightful; truly the highlight of our stay: Very funny and helpful. The property is clearly an older building with a fresh coat of paint. The carpet was clean, but heavily chemically treated. The acoustic ceiling has been painted over instead of removed and textured. The bathroom fixtures are dated and our sink drained excruciatingly slowly. This wouldn't have bothered me as mucj if I'd paid in the $60–80 a night range, but it was $130 (weekend rate, holiday weekend).

Definitely not a good experience. Breakfast was the worst. The coffee pot in the room was not complete and couldn't be used. The room smelled very strong of paint and gave me a headache plus the whole place had a funky smell. On the otherhand the price was cheap and I got what I paid for… the beds were sort of comfortable. Needless to say I won't be staying here again.

It's very conveniently located near the freeway. The rooms are decent, nothing special. There is a pool and hot tub which is nice. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I will NEVER use this motel again. I called two weeks prior to arrival and made a reservation, gave the guy at the desk my cc info. My employee was taking a class in Orem and the instructor had set up a discounted rate with the hotel for class attendees. I told the guy at the desk this, and he said he would apply the discount. The day my employee was supposed to arrive, I called to confirm the address, and they had no reservation for him. Luckily they had a room available last minute, but I should've called somewhere else. I once again told them about the discount for the class. The evening I was to arrive, I got a call from La Quinta saying they needed a copy of my driver's license and credit card authorization faxed to them. I was not anywhere near a fax machine. I asked why this wasn't stated in the phone call made that morning, and she said she didn't know. My employee has a company credit card, and was able to pay when he got there. They wouldn't give him a receipt, and the card had been charged. The next day I looked at my bank account and they didn't give him the discount. I had to call to have them email a receipt along with getting the discount on the room. I've never had this many problems with a stay. Very disorganized and unprofessional. The customer service was horrible and we hadn't even arrived yet. I would give a big fat 0 if I could. Not impressed.

The location is nicely situated by the freeway with a fantastic view of the western mountains. Breakfast is simple and carb heavy. I found the room clean and all amenities were functioning upon arrival. Staff was kind.

La Quinta Inn is a nice, comfortable, and affordable place to stay. No real complaints other than the lighting feels rather dim.

Nice hotel. Good rooms, decent breakfast and pet friendly. Disappointed that pool was closed due to high PH levels. Kids were very disappointed aside called before arriving to make sure pool was open.

Heater was very loud but the breakfast was decent.

It was disgusting — we checked in, went to our room and then checked out. We were not going to stay in that dirty, stinky room. Really LaQuinta — you need to do some serious upgrades!

Typical low rate hotel. Breakfast was way below anything I expected. Beds are extremely stiff and hard which may be good for some. Rate should have been in the $50 range instead of high $70's. Coffee is horrible FYI.

This place was NOT as nice as it was pictured on the website. First, the elevators "stunk" like a dirty washrag. The cleaning in to room was not properly done. The floors between the bed and dresser was "caved-in" causing the TV dresser to lean forward. The door squeezed and the door lock was faulty. My husband wrote on top of the headboard, "clean me". Doubt it if it will get done. Will NOT be staying here again…

AC doesn't work properly. Very dirty room. The musty smell when you walk in is very noticable.

Smelled like smoke and the staff was rude. Dont stay here.

I love this place close to freeway nice and clean hotel I will be back again.

Coffee is cheap and nasty in the morning, they do not have dcent creamer like carnation. They do not have sweetner like splenda or equal. The manager follows you around the lounge and there are sines that say your not allowed to take food back to your room and monitor you. The pillows are absolutely awful. I will not be staying here anymore. As well I had a houskeeping lady take all of the money off my T. V. Stand assuming it was a tip.

Unfortunately, I tried to reserve a room here under my IHC employee discount and the person over the phone tried to swindle me, saying no we don't have that discount. It is discounted from $89 to $84 dollars when our discount page said $59. I am very disappointed and will not recommend anyone stay there.

Under major construction. Noisey dirty and staff rude. Did not tell us about construction when we booked and would not discount the rate at all. Horrible experience.

They have a constriction going on and they charger the same money $ 140 the manger didn't care about it when I talk him and they didn't said anything when book my reservation ether.

Staff was wonderful! Rooms were nice. Comfortable bed. Couldn't get air conditioner to work. Clock was flashing the time. Couldn't figure out how to turn on the refrigerator, so I had to call front desk. FYI the switch is in back of the television. A little note in the room explaining that, would have been nice.

Here for a week and loved our stay. The staff was great, always clean and loved the location.
