The floor of our “cabin” (shed) was so off level that sleeping was an issue. Your body trends downhill while laying on the mattress. If you wake up in the middle of the night and walk to the bathroom you have to be cautious that the leaning doesn’t cause you to fall. Cheap place but not worth what they charge given the issues — light over the bed was shorted out, bathroom door doesn’t close. The list goes on. And don’t expect good service at the restaurant. Terribly slow and staff ignores customers — several walked out while we were waiting an hour for a cheeseburger that comes out burnt to a crisp. They will offer you an appetizer discount when you check into the motel but will charge full price when you get your final bill despite providing the coupon. Wouldn’t stay again and definitely wouldn’t recommend the restaurant.

Not just to rent nice cabins but also good for camping in tents and RV’s. We are in our RV having a nice view talking to friendly people, very clean bathrooms, nice pool small town with 3 restaurants, country store and a museum. Close by attractions like the waterfall at mossy cave it is only 3 miles away. We are happy with our stay.

I really enjoyed this place. Swimming pool, hot tub, Showdowns Restaurant. I had just a tent camping spot. It had nice grass, a picnic table, and a fire pit.
it was a peaceful but fun place.

I loved my stay at Bryce Pioneer Village. The room is pretty cozy, the people are very nice, free breakfast. It also had a soccer field, set up a volleyball net and a restaurant you can walk down to for food and drinks and even live music. The best part is that it's only 20-25 min away from Bryce Canyon National Park. I would love to stay here again.

Great location. Nice that it has a general store in front. Wi-Fi didn’t really work but you are very remote so I understand the challenge.

I have to say, staying at the Bryce Pioneer Village was a great decision! With quick access to the Bryce National Park, reasonable prices, and great service, this motel turned out to be the perfect choice. Also, the on premise restaurant, Showdowns, was a great dining choice as well. Overall, very satisfied!

Shabby and rundown lodgings with inexistent Wi-Fi (despite the fact it's offered), the carpet in the rooms and building is in dire need of replacement. The breakfast offer is poor and the coffee is undrinkable. This may be understandable if it wasn't so clearly overpriced.

We were overnight guests at the RV campground. Facilities were well kept, neat, clean and inviting. Live music outdoors by the restaurant and a terrific coffee shop with expertly made Cappuccino. Sweet little town.

Very average. Very clean. Very good and friendly Restaurant nearby. But disappointing breakfast, even no place to sit.

Really nice for the price. You'll get something that feels like a mix between a motel and a cabin. And it's close to Bryce Canyon (without being inside it).

Merite the 7 miles of bryce for a friendly and folkloric stage.

One night stay, Hotel quiet, well equipped (micro wave fridge…). Breakfast room small but full food.

Very slow Wi-Fi 160kbps. Too slow for Netflixs. Good bed and pool. Close to bryce.

I'm surprised and miffed that not one single reviewer mentioned anything about all the damn dog barking all night. And whatever deodorant they use stings my nose. Cabins are t sealed tight and let flying bugs in. Not a place I'll stay again.

Rooms were small but clean and nice. They were working on the Wi-Fi (not available in our room). Overall it was fun, and worth it.

The staff is friendly and the room was clean. The bathroom was clean and the fridge was nice and big. The walls are super thin and we had a big family in the room next to us so that was kinda annoying. The pillows were also kinda terrible but I asked for a few extra from the desk and they gave us nice ones. I would stay here again it is a great price.

Very good restaurant, welcoming staff, hearty dishes and accommodation, although simple and modest, remains pleasant and authentic.

Quaint motel. Quick one nighter. Free breakfast. Careful of the season… pool and hot tub might be closed, which was the case for me. Friendly front staff.

My boyfriend and I ate dinner at this restaurant because we were staying in the adjacent motel Bryce Pioneer Village (which was a great stay, by the way). We were both pleasantly surprised at how good of an experience we had at this restaurant. Cute little place, comfortable. They had live country music playing (we are not huge fans of country but the music wasn't anything obnoxious). We were seated right away but it did take quite some time before we were acknowledged by a waitress. We were not in any rush though so we were not bothered by this. Plus it looked as if they only had 3 waitresses and it was a busy night. We ordered a quesadilla to share which was delicious! My boyfriend ordered a burger which he enjoyed and I had the fettuccine alfredo which was good as well. The best part was the strawberry iced tea we both ordered, so yummy (and free refills too! ). At the end the waitress graciously offered us a discount for being so patient (see what a little kind and patience does? ) even though we had not complained or seemed irritated in the slightest. Total of $7 off a $30 dinner, not bad! The food is already reasonably priced. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone staying in Tropic, UT. Was the best restaurant in town, by far!

Beautiful setting, guaranteed country atmosphere, and interesting menu. The dishes are plentiful.

Friendly staff and hand. Ate a good hamburger and quesadillas to the Texan. Very good. Fast service and country musician. Honest price (hamburger with fries, quesadillas, Coke, $20)

Food choice was limited but tasty. Waitress — Jenny was fantastic. Live music perfect — not too loud — easy to have a conversation. Great atmosphere. Worth the ten minute drive from anywhere nearby…

This is a review for the Showdowns Restaurant only. Our 3rd night in Bryce/Tropic area and we just couldn't face going to another understaffed restaurant as was the case in the Pizza restaurant in Tropic and Pizza/Hot Dog/Burger place by Ruby's. We started walking around and found this gem, the Showdown's Restaurant on the edge of town. The service was AWESOME! They accommodated our large family, and we knew to get there ahead of the vacationing dinner rush. The food was great. My kids got kid's meals with burgers as big as the adults' burgers. It is more pricey than feeding your family pizza, but it was oh-so-worth-it!

Terrible service! Took a long time to get anything. I ordered a steak 20 dollars and it was half medium rare and half rare. They forgot our appetizer then gave it to us after the meal. They overcharged for our check by $5.00. The worst thing was they charged us %18 tip. The we look at the bottom of the menu and it says "WE RRSERVE THE RIGHT TO ADD 18% TIP" there was only myself and my wife and two kids. Stay away!

I only can give 3 stars because the breakfast was the worst in our holiday so far and the room was a little odd. The bathroom door was 1ft away from one of the beds. Besides that the Wi-Fi was totally bad and no cell service there. Generally the room was OK. Clean and big enough. Also it's OK for two nights but not longer.

Decent location relative to Bryce Canyon national park. Room was adequate considering we only expected a place to sleep, and were away all day with the various park attractions in the area. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

First, let me get the bad out of the way — very small rooms (almost too small for 4 people, but we managed it) and it's obviously been here a while. That said, I think they keep everything maintained pretty well and I love the "village". Everything you need is here (pool, breakfast, etc) and everyone is very nice. I almost took away a star for the restaurant — the service is so slow, but the food is decent (it really upset me that they automatically added an 18% tip for a party of 4 — no wonder the service is bad). Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Great place. A little old but well maintained. Rooms are small but adequate. Atmosphere is great. Beautiful views and outdoor areas.

This is a very good motel to stay in if your going to hike in Bryce Canyon. It's very charming and rustic, although there is a heated pool and a jacuzzi. The receptionists were very nice and helped us find a place to eat and check in. They seemed very charming and nice. And seemed to care about our needs. The breakfast may not be huge but it's definitely worth your money. The rooms are great and are located in very charming cabins. I hugely recommend you stay. It's a great motel for such a small town! Prices are great!

Great location to visit bryce is excellent value for money.

Stayed here with family for a night in May 2014. Good: * Good location for Bryce Canyon National Park Bad: * Rooms are tiny — you can barely fit 3 people in a 2 queen bed room, forget about bringing your luggage inside * Check in process was super slow with the owner/person at the counter not even caring about people waiting in line * Not much in terms of breakfast.

Everything was perfect, pool and jacuzzi were perfect after a hiking day.

Extremely please with the excellent Birthday Cake for our daughters 13th Birthday. Thank you very very much.

Room small but worked just fine.

This place is not what it advertises for camping. It's someone's backyard with a patch of grass. Way over priced too. We drove up and immediately left to find some place else because not only was it not at all a "campground" or "campsite" for that matter, there was no privacy, space and they failed to mention they were doing construction using heavy machinary right next to were we were supposed to sleep. We just got a spot in Bryce Canyon national park instead.

Very simple home. Problem of closing the door of the room. Cleanliness level going.
We were cold at night however.
For one night is enough but no more.
Breakfast not really top it's really history not to go on an empty stomach.

This is a motel should not expect much. More than average cleanliness. To avoid.

After staying in a KOA cabin and cheap hotel in our travels in Utah, this place seemed like luxury! But we are backpackers and we're not expecting a 5 star hotel. I think if you're not expecting that, then you'll be happy with this place. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, shower (without bath) drained well and was clean, and the room had a TV (which we were not expecting), old west pictures, and a small table with chairs. All we really wanted was a bed and a shower, so we felt a little spoiled here. The hot water lasted long enough for 3 people to shower. The breakfast consisted of cereal, oatmeal, mini muffins, toast and jelly, coffee and juice. So once again, not a gourmet breakfast buffet, but it gets the job done. The staff was very nice, and the office had a small gift shop of a small selection of souvenirs and postcards that actually we're not overpriced. There were basic pharmacy goods too like tums, band aids, aspirin, etc. The main thing is that is super close to Bryce Canyon, and that's the reason we were out there anyway. So a basic place to sleep is all we wanted. If you want the bells and whistles, maybe stay at the lodge? If you just want a place to crash after being in the park, this place is decently priced and a great place to stay.

We had a less than one star experience. The pictures on line are several steps above our actual room. We had no soap, no phone, no deadbolt lock, and when we asked for extra pillows, they had none. We asked if we could use some from the rooms that were not being used and they said absolutely not. Not very customer friendly. The room was clean. That is about the only good thing. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very basic accommodation but when there's so little choice it's better than sleeping in the car. Wi-Fi is only available in the foy-yay and that's where you need to go to get your ice too. Showdowns sounded like fun when we checked in but it was sooo corny I cringe thinking about it now. The things you do when there's no beer around.

Ok hotel. The staff was excellent! We had a standard room. It was ok and clean. They are small rooms. Not fancy, but perfect if your coming off the trail and looking for a bed and shower.
