Nice location, affordable.

The room wasn't very clean which is very negligent considering the Covid outbreak. There were wrappers on the floor behind the bathroom door and a black, sticky little ball of something right by the tub that I had to clean up. The only real pro was the price. Oh, and they DO have fridges in the rooms inside a cabinet. Someone was saying they didn't.

No fridge in the room and very small pillow. The lamp beside the bed you have to turn of from the front door and not from the bed when you want to sleep.

A show of nature really very impressive.

Old and no frills motel. It is not a lodge. No breakfast, no fridge, no microwave. There is a mini coffee maker to make hot water/coffee. I stayed at one of the rooms in building 4 — tub and sink is slow and door doesn't latch well. Room is generally clean. Staff is friendly. Depends on what you need the place for. If you just need a cheap place to stay near the park, shower, and leave the next morning, then it is perfect. Otherwise, you will be disappointed. Groceries at the market at Ruby's Inn is rather steep so come to Bryce prepared with food.

It's old and it smelled bad… As for the staff they were great. Kind friendly fun. As for the country it is the best place on earth…

The reception is not great. The rooms are comfortable but poorly insulated in terms of noise. There is no breakfast. The Wi-Fi works well. But unfortunately there is no pool.

Our room smelled like mildew, the odor was so strong it kept us awake. The bathroom had dried residue from cleaner all over it. The bedding was not clean and the blanket was very thin. Everything is very dated. The plumbing is loud so if a neighbor turned on the shower it would wake us up. Also the parking lot is so close to the front windows, cars starting or doors slamming woke us too. We got no sleep in this motel.

Power outlets are situated behind the beds and the beds are bump onto the power plugs. I noticed when going to bed the plug was bent which makes it very dangerous and could cause electrocution. Lucky we are not traveling with children because this is just madness. This really needs a fix quickly.

For less than 80 euros you can stay here in the high season with 4 people in absolute proximity to the Bryce NP. More value for money is not possible.
Functional classic American motel rooms, certainly no longer the most modern rooms, but neat and inexpensive. Clear recommendation!

Very old and the room too small.

You check in at the best Western next door. It has ample parking. Located centrally in town. There are shuttles they can transport you to the different restaurants and shops in the area, that seem to all be owned by one company. Only 3 miles from the main entrance to Bryce. The room was nothing fancy. The pillows were minimal at best, and they had no extra pillows, otherwise it was clean, and a place to stay. It is definitely a no frills motel, which was perfect for our use, since we spent some time in the park overnight star gazing. Would stay here again for the convenience.

Location really good. Right at Bryce Canyon. Rooms very simple. Blanket far too thin because it gets quite cool in the evening.

Unkind or annoyed receptionist. Rooms are already getting older. Cleanliness is a foreign word here (hair from the predecessor in bed, bathroom floor and shower, toilet was unfortunately still left …). We wouldn't book it again.

Price performance in order. Our toilet was defective and despite calling the reception after 23:00 came a craftsman who took care of the problem shortly afterwards. In itself, the rooms are simply furnished and the beds Ok.

Small Room, bed quite comfortable, noisy, the lamp of the room did not work, the power outlets are all ruined.

The location is really convenient, but unfortunately that's the only positive feature going for this place. Hot water takes a while to quick in, there's no assigned parking, creating the inconvenience of sometimes having to park far from your unit and the units themselves are old. Also, and I must say that this could've been an isolated issue with our unit, but whatever product they used to clean it, left a strong, unpleasant odor that persisted throughout our two days stay. I was not amused. Stay here if you're looking for a cheap, well located place. But keep away if you're looking for comfort and a premium touch.

This lodge was ok. Worth for what you paid. I won’t say it’s excellent. There are lots of rooms. And cheap. In surrounding 5-6 restaurants, they are ok too, but usually closes around 8. Check beforehand if you are reaching late.

Pros: location for Bryce canyon is great Cons: pool is in another hotel a ways away really inconvenient with kids. : Fridge was not clean had old stuff in it alcohal that my kids found… Hairs in bathroom and ear plugs under bed. Was not clean that's why 2 stars.

Extremely old room and carpeted room.
The front desk was never open obliged to go to the front desk of the hotel next door to have our room.
Bad night spent in this hotel where we will not put our feet…

Price-performance is right. Clean, nice staff, everything you need in the rooms, including free W-LAN. The resort has been in the years but for one night it is absolutely enough.

Would give zero stars if I could. Light switch was broken and room keys didn’t work. Worse, the toilet was left unflushed from the previous guest. Overall, the room was dirty and tiny. We visited in the early spring and the night was cold. Our one blanket was way too thin while the heater was LOUD and ineffective. So excited to get out of there in the morning.

Meh, it's pretty much a dump. You pay for what you get though. Its pretty cheap. Mattresses are like sway back horses broken down in middle. Rooms are tiny. Decor is from the 60s. Sheets feel like sand paper. Ice machines were broken. It's a hole of a place. The old white lady who checked me in was not friendly. I'd pay more for a different hotel next time.

Nice clean room. Good parking space. Free Wi-Fi. Check out is easy — just a phone call. Not much choice of restaurants nearby, so we drove out 10 miles.

No frill motel. Very good location, and guests can utilize amenities at Ruby's Inn across the road.

OK without more… a little factory. And the Cowboys of the corner are not very hospitable… pity the site is so beautiful.

Cold Rooms The restaurant is a little bit far away.

Value for money place near to Bryce canyon entrance. Wooden floors are squeaking otherwise nice location. General store and restaurant is also close by. They don't serve breakfast.

The room is fine. Too bad it lacks fridge and micro wave.

So far, not so good. I was initially given a room that was occupied. After another visit to the office, I settled into my unoccupied room, though when I came back from dinner, my key cards didn't work, which necessitated a trip to the Best Western for assistance since the office was closed. In the grand scheme of things, it's not a huge deal, but come on, BVL, get your act together. UPDATE: Hvac and the coffee machine do not work. The fridge also makes a clicking noise — — had to unplug…

I recommend you never went to this hotel it's ugly old and very bad organization there were 4 buses with young people who screwed up the chambar until 2am and at 6am the bus fitter in front of the room it was the worst experience of the night in a Hotel of my life. Flee never booked in this hotel.

Hotel quite decent. Room and bathroom a little run down, but decent and clean. 2 queen size beds. Comfortable bedding.
Only small downside: no fridge in the room.

From the outside it makes a good impression, in the room it smells musty, the carpet stands in front of dirt that you don't want to walk around without shoes. Both beds full of black hair. As for the price, I can't say anything, we were here with a tour group … So privately I wouldn't stay here anymore!

Maybe two stars are too many: small rooms, only shower (of course). The problem was the cold, in October the outside temperature in the morning at Bryce is — 3 but in the room no blanket, we slept with the heating on and the suitcases against the door to not let the draughts in…

Since you are usually only in the room for sleeping and showering anyway, the hotel/the lodge is absolutely adequate, cleanliness is fine. However, you can pay for the location so close to the beautiful Bryce Canyon and the lodge is still the cheapest option in Bryce Canyon Villiage. Restaurants and shopping, as well as gas station, can be found in the immediate vicinity and the national park shuttle stops almost at the door.

Spacious and clean rooms. No defects found. Located in a small "commercial" area with a couple of restaurants. Around little or nothing.

The room was alright, an older look but maybe they're going for that since were in bryce. I didn't like the front desk worker. She was doing her best but didnt speak much English so it made checking in difficult with some last minute changes. Why can't we have English speakers anymore?

Stayed at this lodge for 1 night (not what we would normally book but everything else had no vacancy). We left our room twice in our stay only to come back to our door open on both occasions. I went to complain to staff only to be told that that was impossible and no one else had a key to our room. There was no apology for the situation and her 'i couldn't careless attitude' made my blood boil. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Oh and I forgot the carpet in the room was absolutely disgusting couldn't even walk around without shoes. You really do get what you pay for.

Had two nights here. Perfect location right next to the national park. The rooms were clean and equipped with the basic equipment, however, a bit small and no longer the most modern, which did not bother us any further. Parking right in front of our room. Staff were nice and check-in as well as check-out worked out without any problems.

Very well located for trips to Bryce Canyon. Rooms pleasantly large and clean but also have already come in the years. Refrigerator and microwave present but just the refrigerator very noisy when exposed. For one night perfectly ok.

Spent 1 night at the Bryce View Lodge in May 2017. Basic accommodations that I would put on par with a Motel 6/Comfort Inn. Drive-up rooms were nice and the beds were clean. The furniture & bathrooms are a little outdated but that's to be expected in this part of the country. You are literally a 2 minute drive from the front gate of the park so you can't beat that. I would suggest planning ahead for food or bringing your own since there are very limited options in Bryce Canyon City. On of the more cost-friendly accommodations town and would recommend to anyone looking to spend a night or two in Bryce.

Rooms a little dated and small, cleaning of the shower gasket which left a little to be desired, high price. For the rest OK, close to Ruby's, and a few minutes from the entrance of the park.

Not so bad is that the room for 3 people is way too small. Are also very noisy, so you have the feeling that the ceiling is cracking.
It was bad that one of our beds was clearly broken.
But the worst was the lack of cleanliness! Everywhere were hair… on the bed, in the shower and of course on the floor.
The complaint at the reception and the resulting promise that the room was thoroughly cleaned until midday was not met. It didn't seem to interest anyone either.
The whole room is old, shabby and dirty and the beds so uncomfortable that we all slept poorly and the back aches!
Hands off… for a little more there is much better!

These "unassuming" rooms are great. Fridge, microwave, table/chairs, hair dryer, and coffee maker. I definitely recommend this place as it is a GREAT value compared to the "nicer" hotels. The check in guy at the front desk was super cute and friendly as well!

Staff was fast and helpful. Beds are very soft. Rooms are simple but provide everything needed for a short stay. Late check out at noon was accommodated and the stay as a whole was pleasant.

Bryce View Lodge is in a great location from many beautiful trails and parks. The girl at the front was very nice and professional. She checked in about 4 parties in less then 15 minutes. We like how they allowed an extended 1 hour late check out, it was very convenient for the event we were participating in. The hotel itself has a beautiful view of Bryce canyon. The room was small but very comfy. The beds were soft and we had no problem following asleep. This is a great hotel and the price was well in our conservative budget. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Very large room with comfortable beds. The pillows we're not my favorite, but that's a personal choice. One thing to be aware of, if you have a CPAP machine, there is no plug by the bed in easy reach to plug it in. It was difficult for me to find, but when the front desk said it was across from the Ruby In I had no difficulty.

Hotel in a lost environment but with great services, Mokto beautiful souvenir shops and a ristorsntet with delicious meat.

Treated very poorly by the staff… they refused to cancel our reservation, even though the brianhead wildfire is filling the area with smoke.

Bad Motel. It was a very nice hotel. To the limits of decency. The only positive note is the proximity to the park.

You are not so much of it as possible. I've also already a few weeks :)

The rooms were a bit dated. The water took a long time to heat up. The AC unit was very loud and had an odd smell. Several of the power outlets in the room didn't work. The one that did was stretched and plugs fell out. But the location is grand.

The rooms were okay. No ice was avaliable. During check in the Internet was down and the clerk kept telling me to call my bank and then after I mentioned the Internet was down and I was right she just told us to come back later instead if apologizing. On top of the ice machine not working the bedsheets kept coming loose throughout the night. I have statyed in much cheaper places with better accommodation and service. This place needs some work.

This place is an old motel, so dont expect much in terms of rooms and amenities. But its very close to the park and that alone is a huge plus.

Very convenient location for visiting Bryce Canyon. Rooms are comfortable with decent shower, air conditioning and comfortable beds. Breakfast wasn't included but there are places to eat and buy supplies within walking distance.

Clean and comfortable room. If you want to check in to the hotel you'll have to go the Ruby Inn. We didn't know that in advance so spent some time wondering how we could get our key. But it all worked out.

Hotel / lodge in the vicinity of Bryce Canyon. Very spacious area, there is a small shop and a buffet restaurant. There, you should plan waiting just in the evening.
The rooms come in the year. There is free Wi-Fi.
Due to the direct location at the entrance to the Canyon very good for an overnight stay in transit.

Hotel a few miles from Bryce Canyon. Small cozy rooms, a breakfast there, full prepayment spend another authorization by about the same amount, after a few minutes of talk time, and not explained properly. Near a good restaurant Ruby's Inn with a long history. Great for visiting the park.

Fairly nice location but there are no lifts so you have to lug suitcases up a staircase if you are lodging upstairs. The rooms lack a feeling of privacy as people walk past on the outside corridor. You are not able to access breakfast from the main hotel there either. There is a restaurant in the complex which holds 'Eberneezer's show in an evening which was good fun, and well organised. Bit of food and entertainment on offer.

This hotel is a piece of garbage. They don't honor reservations. The management is rude and unhelpful. Don't stay here! I had a situation and they told be to go pay for a higher priced room at the best western. They had Best Western uniforms on and claimed that they were not part of Best Western. They are absolutely the rudest.

The room is clean and is decent but not more than that. The restroom is kinda small and the TV is at least 20 years old. They recommended to have dinner and breakfast at the Ruby's inn because it has nothing included. Just by looking at the prices and the long row we decided to go there. Also thr pool is behind the Ruby's inn which is on the other side of the street.

For one night and visite the Bryce Canyon this motel is okay. But nothing more! It's unkindly and your room was only ready after 4 pm.

It was all okay you may just not so look closely. The location of the National Park is top.

Goods in September at this Lodge. Unfortunately, to expect no miracles are except the name. We got 2 freshly cleaned rooms, which were still clear signs of the previous inhabitants. Blutverschmiertes bed, old socks were randomly scattered, the Toiletenpapierrolle was finding half rolled up next to the bed. Several other more or less disgusting small parts were still around. I can not recommend the lodge despite the played indignation and the immediate correction of defects, as well as a free breakfast. Remained an uneasy feeling when going to bed. I can give only one star (actually zero) and with a vacation planning this Lodge should be avoided.

Great area to Bryce Canyon, staff friendly, rooms clean and spacious. Around, when it comes to eating, it's all very expensive.

You get a bed and a room, that's it. Breakfast or dinner is at the otherside of the road (which is like a 10-15min walk). Location on the other hand is kinda awesome as it's only 5mins from the Bryce Canyon entrance.

Bryce Canyon View Lodge, Bryce Canyon, UT A flee-bag without the flees!, We didn’t catch any yet. You would think that for what they charge, we would leave with a “memento”. Sarcasm aside, this is one crummy place, thanks to its people. They must be the most incompetent, dim-witted, ill — mannered, rude I have seen, assembled in one organization, in over 46 years of intense business and leisure travel. This confirms earlier reviews. However, it is not entirely the fault of the employees, because: 1. They didn’t hire themselves to the job (some “Einstein” in the “chain of command”, including the property owners/management, made these “astute” decisions. 2. It is Management’s failure (incompetence) to test people’s suitability to serve in the “hospitality” sector. 3. It is a Management failure to properly train employees on processes specific to their enterprise. 4. It is a management failure to properly supervising employees to ensure that they are delivering at some level at or above mediocrity. It is inescapable to conclude that this abysmal service delivery is a direct product of utter incompetence that permeates the entire org. Structure up to and including the property owners. What makes this place stand out like a “sore thumb” is its geographic location. In our travel through this part of the country we met some of the most kind, warm, proper, caring human beings, just beautiful people. Then, you run into these “things” and you don’t know what to make of them.

This place gets — 90 on the customer service scale. Checked in for a race denied the race discount, then they claimed we didn't book a 2nd night, wrong, and they kicked my husband out of the room. Then they had the gall to not just double bill me, but triple bill me. Also has thin walls so sound sleep is not easy.

For the price of a nerve.

Amazing how people can differ in their opinions! I read the reviews and I had to smile. The people at the reception were very friendly. The room was clean, with a good bed, a fridge, a coffeemachine and even a magnetron. The only comment is a shortage of blankets. A tip for the lodge: one spare blanket in the closet. They recommended the food in Ruby's inn. We had an excellent steak, so we don't understand the bad reviews uptill now. A pleasant stay in a comfortable lodge. Next time we come again.

Terrible hotel. The receptionist was unpolite and didn't care when we first checked in. The day after a French guy walks into our room while we were sleeping because they had over booked our room. We experienced that they were kinder to us in the hotel just across the street at Best Western Rubys Inn.

Rooms too cold and not that clean. Buffet across the street at the best western which is part of this hotel had an extremely terrible buffet and the food was terrible with not much of a choice. The service was unfriendly. When I was over charged and tried to resolve my bill 3 weeks later by phone, they were very rude, unwilling to help, even ruder still, and hung up on me. Sleeping in the car would have been a better choice for the price, I recommend to find someplace else.

For the price acceptable. Plus the proximity to Bryce Canyon, free Wi-Fi and the rooms is quite good. Minus something could be cleaner than directly only the Ruby's Inn available and this completely crowded restaurant. Front desk basically also only sparsely available.
