So unfortunate that the service level does not match the price. The resort is in a great location and the tents are fantastic and the beds are very comfortable. The service level, especially in the on premise restaurant, just does not equal the service you’d get elsewhere when paying these nightly rates.

So lovely! Comfortable beds, lots of space and areas to gather! Absolutely will go back!

The view from our tent this morning and deer from last night. Love a good sunrise. Friendly staff. Tent and furnishing are spot on for glamping. Chilly night so thankful for heater in tent. Only disappointment was that menu for restaurant is not current on website. Had items ready to order for to go to find out it was out of date. New menu is limited compared to one posted currently. Appreciate distance between tents as felt like a private spot.

We are currently at Conestoga and it’s beautiful. The traditional tent is big enough for a pack n play which is very nice. Check in went great and they even allowed us to get in early! The ranch provides s’mores and firewood which is helpful. However, it’s pretty difficult with kids. They do not allow your car to be near your tent. I am unsure of this reasoning but it seems small until you are packing your infant and carseat back and forth. Plus we own a nice paddle board and other items. I hate having to leave those in our truck when it cannot be near us. We aren’t allowed to use our camp chef grill because they are worried about open flame. Great! But, they allow you to cook over your fire pit and they allow night time fires. It’s a major inconvenience to not be able to cook near our tent. They do have a large area that you can use their charcoal grills. Well that would be great it it wasn’t a time of covid and social distancing. We have young kids (4 and 4 months) and our oldest has been pretty bored. The KOA across the street has a ton of fun amenities for kids. They also have “glamping tents” that are much cheaper. I don’t foresee myself coming back. It had been an okay experience but personally the KOA would be better with kids.

So I typically HOST a large UTV club ride each year and picked Conestoga as our new spot. Spent a ton of time with Shelly working out all the details for 30+ people. We had tents and wagons and they were very very helpful. The entire staff went above and beyond. We had the fortune to meet several people on staff from the guys who took our gear up to the wagons, to our waitress and to the restaurant manager to several of the cooks. Hands down the best experience! They even roasted a pig one night and the food was to die for. I forget everyone's name but you know who you are — — Shelly what a great time! Now it is not cheap, but frankly spend the extra money and experience this and the food — — you will thank your self. And I know other people might have mentioned but you got to get you a Conestoga Mug! best ever!

We just celebrated our 8th Anniversary and this place was amazing! The staff was great, beds comfy, food at the restaurant was amazing! We plan on going back with our kids next year! loved that they have bikes we could use as much as we wanted Thank you for making our special day even better!

This is an oasis in the middle of nowhere! Very nice service, front desk Marissa was excellent. The sweet lady at the restaurant from South Africa (forgetting her name) was amazing! We had such a good time! We used their bikes to visit the Bear Lake. The kids playground, the arcade were so much fun! Our room was comfy, cozy and clean. The bathroom was clean with hot water supply. Loved roasting marshmallows at the bonfire in the night time. Kids loved the stay and so did we!

This is a fun way to camp and stay at bear lake. Great views and comfortable beds. The activities are nice. I’m happy that there weren’t any TVs so that my kids were forced to pick something else. The cherry smoked salmon at the restaurant was the best salmon I’ve ever had. Only negatives: there were many people being loud after the 10pm quiet time. We called the front desk and they sent someone to calm them down. That worked. We were awakened at 4:30 am by sprinklers hitting our tent.

We absolutely loved our stay here and are already planning our next trip. It was the perfect communion of nature and comfort. All the best of camping minus the work and gear and they had super comfy beds. We went with our two kids, 8 and 6 and they said it was their favorite trip ever. There were bikes for the all of us, nightly snore kits, fire at each site stocked with wood and a cute playground for the kids. The bathrooms and showers were very nicely done and were always kept super clean. I also loved how they had water filling stations so we didn’t have to create plastic waste. The restaurant also had great food with wine and beer. We just loved this place! Highly recommend for couples or families.

This was our third year in a row staying at Conestoga. It has easily become one of our favorite traditions and places to stay! The tents are so clean and the beds are super comfortable! So many amenities come along with saying here. It has plenty of areas to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful views, along with a playground, game room, plenty of grass area to throw a football, play kickball or soccer. My kids LOVE the bikes and riding them into town for shakes. Everything is so well maintained! The bathrooms are like a 5 star hotel! The staff here is amazing! So impressed with their willingness to help and always with a smile. They are so great about bringing wood to the campsites, lighting your firewood and always coming around to make sure your experience is perfect. The smores kit is another fun bonus. We absolutely love it here!

We have stayed at other tent cabin communities and this one is the nicest one I have ever seen. The tents are so clean and the beds are very comfortable. A lot of places we have stayed at advertise great amenities but when you show up they are broken or dirty — not this place the amenities are in great shape and the bathrooms were like 5 star hotel bathrooms. My boys had a great time riding bikes, playing ping pong and roping wooden horses. While the place is nice what makes this place special and stand out from our other experiences is the staff. I am not sure how they find these kids, but whatever it is they need to keep doing it. They were always so happy and never made you feel like you were a bother. They truely understand customer service and they are what made this place so magical for our family. Thank you for the great memories — we will definitely be back.

Super nice accommodating staff! We had a couple of blips when we first got there due to a booking error on their part and Clark "owner? " took very good care of us and straightened things out quick. The rest of the staff is also quick to help out with anything during stay. Beautiful area! We'd stay again.

Booked for a 3 day wedding event and it was fabulous! From arrival to departure the staff made us feel like we were their only guests but I knew they were fully booked. That’s a great example of excellent customer service. I barely had to lift a finger, for the wedding or otherwise! The most relaxing wedding event I’ve ever done. Not to mention the setting was just perfect for our “cowboy meets island girl theme”. The open air venue tent overlooking the lake and camp n…aturally created the ambiance we were hoping for. Our wedding guests could not stop being in awe of the experience and kept saying how good a time they were having and how great the service was… from beginning to end! And can I just say… glamping is the best way to camp. It’s the best of both worlds! You get that warm fuzzy camping feel without all the hassle. Sleeping in a spacious tent (that didn’t need to be set up or packed up after) on a super comfy bed surrounded by charming furnishings really bumps up the camping game. The fire valet service is the best! No set up or put out! All the fun of a campfire including the stars above, great Adirondack chairs and s’mores… without any of the work! Those cowboys light your fire lickity split — and seem to really enjoy it too. Every tent had a view, the grounds were immaculate, the bathrooms well appointed and the cleanest you’ll ever find at a campground. The cart service made it possible for those in our group with limited mobility to enjoy camping as well.

What an amazing place! We had a girls weekend here in one of your tents and it was perfect. The service was great — especially David. What a nice guy he is! He came and lit our fire every night and was so helpful and friendly. The bathrooms and showers were very nice and well maintained and I always had hot water. We loved every minute of our time there and will be back next year!

Before I rant, I must say that I really did enjoy my stay. For my best friends birthday we decided to go glamping. She lives in Utah and loves Bear Lake. I am from Florida and she wanted me to see this beautiful place, so I decided to book a night in one of the luxury tents. I booked the larger tent because it had it's own restroom and shower. The tent was nice, it was clean, the bed (s) were good, and the campfire with s'mores are a nice addition. However, for $390.00 a night, you would think that the Wi-Fi would work, there would be a coffee pot and cups of some sort in the tent. I realize it is "glamping" and should be rustic, but would it really be a problem to put cups in the tents? I had to go buy 2 of them. Not to mention, I checked in at 3:45 and was not allowed to go to the tent until 4:00. My suggestion is not to arrive early and bring your own cups.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting Bear Lake. My kids had so much fun. They loved playing on the playground, sleeping in the tent, and running around the property. We all want to go back very soon! The bathrooms on site were extremely clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved it and will definitely be staying here again. This is my kind of "camping".

We brought our 4 granddaughters for an overnight get-away, and we loved every minute of our stay at Conestoga Ranch. We rented a basic tent, and found the bedding to be luxurious, the furnishings fun and eclectic, and the bathrooms to be clean, modern, and private. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed grilling, biking (bikes provided free! ), exploring the wildflower lined pathways, roping "cattle", making s'mores, and sitting outside our tent to watch the stars. The location is perfect: just a few blocks to Garden City, where we rode our bikes for raspberry shakes.

This was so much fun. Bear Lake was beautiful and we had a great view of it from our tent. The tent was perfect and surprisingly big. I was afraid I would be cold at night but it was perfect. The service was exceptional and the fire side service was especially great. The restaurant was delicious as well. I would gladly stay here again.

Our family and friends gathered at Conestoga for an extended weekend vacation. We were hoping for an amazing experience and were not disappointed! What could be better than an authentic outdoor camping experience with clean bathrooms/showers, comfortable beds, and other hotel amenities. Game changer! I slightly hesitated to give a five-star review, simply because I selfishly wanted to keep this place ourselves! One of our favorite vacations ever!

Me and three of my friends spent a weekend at Conestoga Ranch to celebrate my friend's 45th birthday. We had a great time! The facility is fabulous, clean, and laid out so well. Our interactions with the staff were all great. It was nice to go "camping" and still have some of the luxuries of being at a hotel. We will definitely make this at least an annual outing!

Conestoga Ranch does not disappoint. This is the 3rd year we have stayed here and we plan to come back every year. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy. This is the way to camp! I highly recommend. The whole family had a blast!

This was an absolutely awesome experience! The wife and I drove up to Bear Lake and stayed at Conestoga Ranch. From the restaurant that is on site, and the campfire service to the tent and the cowboy that came and sang songs with us, we could not have asked for a better experience. We have already begun planning our return with the expectation of relaxing and just enjoying some nature without the work of nature! We highly recommend Conestoga Ranch although once the word gets out how wonderful it is, there will be a longer than normal wait for sure!

This ranch is so darling and provides such an amazing experience for FAMILIES. I suggest, if you are a couple looking to get away, and for some peace and quiet, this may not be the best option. Our tent was placed right by the recreational area, and even though, they have a quiet policy in place from 10 p — 7 am, right at 7 am we had a group of little kids yelling, screaming, and playing soccer right outside of our tent. We got up, had an overpriced cup of coffee at their restaurant, and hit the road by 9 am. I am giving Conestoga Ranch 4 stars because the grounds are extremely well kept, the staff are all really nice and accommodating, and the tents are just darling, and the concept is amazing. This place is great if you are looking for a family oriented getaway, but not great if you're looking for some peace and quiet, romantic getaway.

My friend and I went on a whim for Memorial Day Weekend. We stayed in a couples covered wagon. It was so much fun! The king bed was so comfy and the little chairs were great for sitting inside the cabin out of the wind if we wanted. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They started our fires every night and we got a smores kit each day from the front desk. The showers and restrooms were clean and very accessible. If you want a larger shower use the ones on the outside of the building. The hangout area was nice with chairs, hammocks and some grills if you want to cook your own food. The Watermelon eating contest for Memorial Day was fun to watch. Loved the complimentary bikes to ride into town. Might have to make this an annual Memorial Day weekend tradition. Can't wait to go back. Recommend bringing adult beverages to enjoy around the campfire. Recommend eating at the restaurant on site as well. We had the Memorial Day Dinner Buffet and it was so tasty. It was great to try so many different things on the menu. The Mac n cheese was so good! Also had breakfast there today. Liked that there was a menu and a brunch option, sadly the brunch wasn't ready when we got there so we just ordered off the menu. The fresh squeezed OJ was delicious.

Visited this past weekend for the second time… and it was so great! My kids all love it — (ages 6, 11, 17). It is so fun an unique to stay here. We will be back next year! Great onsite restaurant, and nice people working all over at the ranch — thank you.

Exceed our expectations for our final summer vacation in 2017. Two items of note that should explain our time here. First, our four kids expect better food from us as parents after eating at the Campfire Grill, Truffled French Fries are a must. Second, this has been requested as our last summer vacation each year from now on. The employees are great and willing to help in any way. Also the people that stayed there were great. Keep up the good work and we will stay again next year. Last but not least the view of the lake and starts is great.

One of the best/memorable experience we have ever had. The staff were super helpful and soft spoken. The property is super clean with the amenities of a top class resort. We stayed in the wagon, the first night and the grand tent for the second night. Both experiences are a must do. The icing on the cake is the grill here — food is just jaw dropping. Truly glamorous camping!

Absolutely is the best place. Came here for a family reunion, they cater to everything. We had people ranging from babies to elderly. They were great to assist us with golf car rides if we needed them. The food was amazing, you do have to make reservations to eat at the restaurant. We stayed in the wagons, it was so much fun for my 3 year old son and my 6 year old nephew. The bathroom facilities are super clean. They have fire valets and a place to do laundry. Definitely will be coming back.

My family stayed at Conestoga Ranch in July. We were in a tent, which was plenty spacious for all 4 of us. The beds were extremely comfortable and the campfire with s'mores was a great added touch. The bathrooms/showers were very modern, clean and a close walk. The biggest surprise was the restaurant. The food was amazing! I would highly recommend Conestoga Ranch.

This is our second year staying at Conestoga Ranch and, again, our family really enjoyed ourselves. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the linens in the tent are clean, the shower facilities are fantastic. There are plenty of activities for the kids, playground, game room with ping pong table and video games, bikes to borrow (without additional fees! ) to explore the town. The food at Campfire Grill was excellent.

We had a awesome stay! What a beautiful place. Luxury tents. Service is great. They bring your luggage to your tent with a golf cart. Every tent has its own fireplace. You can call front office and they will come to start your campfire. The food in restaurant is really good. Everything homemade. We would highly recommend to stay at this place.

We stayed in one of the tents, and it was so much fun! Such a memorable experience. Enough room for my wife and I and our 2 kids. The staff were super friendly and very attentive! We also ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was incredible — definitely try the garlic fries. We plan to go once a year it was so fun!

We were pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of service we received by the attentive staff. The setup was comfortable, relaxing, and we had a lot of fun. Also surprising was the cleanliness of the bathrooms and showers. We'd go again!

The first two nights were really great. The service was great and the fire starters were out frequently to make sure we had a fire going. The last night (Saturday 8/6), the fire starter has driven by 8 times so far, and hasn't even driven by the regular tents but has made sure to stop at the pricier tents. I have tried walking down to the main office and call in, but they are closed. If there is a next time I will be sure to bring my own supplies so I don't sit out all night without a fire.

I thought the camp ground was absolutely amazing. I felt like it was well worth the money to stay there. My two stars is not for the quality of the place but for the staff that I personally dealt with. I accidentally left my sisters tablet behind in the tent I stayed in and had to literally jump through hoops to get these people to admit that they did indeed find it. I had to call day after day and ask to get a tracking number on it as I did not trust them after the lies they had made up. Again, the place itself was great but the poor customer service I received trying to get my property back was too much of a hassle. I will not be back. If you stay there be sure to triple check for your belongings before you leave.

We stayed in a covered wagon and it was amazing. Very comfortable beds cozy setting. Incredible staff. After camping for the past week it was a nice break from setting up camp. Beautiful setting. And the drive down was amazing. Seeing how blue that lake was, was breath taking. The only downfall for me was that they are not pet friendly so we ended up boarding our dog 30 miles away in Logan at cache valley pet hotel and they where also amazing. I would recommend going here just for the experience.

So a great time and absolutely AMAZING staff! We stayed in the Grand Tent and it was fantastic! The room was clean and so cute! There were extra blankets and towels and tons of room for belongings. The two guys that work there Wyatt and Yuri were so helpful making sure we were taken care of with plenty of firewood and getting our stuff moved up to the tent from the parking lot! Jean was terrific and so patient with all of our payments and showing us around! The activities there were so much fun and the food is delicious! I cannot say enough great things about this place! I came with a group of 12 and not one of us had any complaints, we had such a great time that we are booking another trip already! Everyone should go!

We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and they did everything for us! Paled or luggage and took it to our tent! The tent was spotless and the accommodations are amazing! We love it here!

My experience with them so far has been amazingly friendly and accommodating (no pun intended! ). I had to modify my reservation with them and left message in the middle of the night that I needed a call back to change things. They called me first thing, adjusted the reservation, sent me an updated reservation email right away and I even got a phone call from the owner making sure that things were taken care of for me! Lovely, lovely people.

Horrible customer service when it comes down to make the reservations. I have been Calling for several months trying to add a wagon to our group reservation, since November of 2015. Now it is May 5th, 2016 and I can not get on the phone one single soul that can help me out. They won't return my phone calls. Just I magine the awful service at the camp site.

Had such a great stay when they first opened, that I returned again later in the season! The tents are amazingly spacious and comfortable, and the indoor plumbing is a plus for those who may not wish to rough it. Can't beat the views of Bear Lake either. I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating and wish them long-term success with their glamping concept!

The staff is super nice and accommodating. The experience was exactly what we were expecting and it was a lot of fun. The bathrooms are really clean. Seems like a good place for families as there were a billion kids running around. It's close to a lot of restaurants besides the one on site, which was actually the only disappointment we experienced. The food had a lot of potential to be good, and I'm sure that most of the time it is. Maybe we were unlucky. We ordered their Rib-eye steak and their mac & cheese. The steak was 1 lb which we were excited about but when it came out we were a little surprised to find that it wasn't the best quality. More than half of it was fatty chunks, and it wasn't trimmed on the edges. There was probably 7 or 8 ounces of edible meat on it. The macaroni and cheese would have been amazing if it had been warm. It came out really cold. We would have sent it back to be warmed up but the size of the entree was really small and it wasn't really worth the trouble. The fries that came with the steak were really good though. This could very well be an isolated experience and maybe we just didn't pick the best things; but we didn't feel that the food was worth the expense. Overall though, it was a fun place to stay at and a unique experience. We would go again.
