Fillmore is a small city located in Millard County, Utah, USA. It is the county seat and the largest city in the county. The city is situated in the scenic Pahvant Valley, surrounded by the Pahvant Mountain Range to the west and the Cricket Mountains to the east. Fillmore has a rich history as it was originally settled as a Mormon farming community in the mid-19th century. The city was named after President Millard Fillmore and served as the capital of the Utah Territory from 1851 to 1856. As a result, Fillmore is home to several historic sites and buildings, including the Territorial Statehouse State Park Museum, which was the first capitol building in Utah.
