My husband and I decided to try this place out and we were not disappointed. What we ordered tasted SO good! The Lilikoi iced tea was a hit for the both of us!
We were seated right away and our waitress, Heather was VERY knowledgeable about the specials, prompt service and GREAT customer service!
I would recommend any of you to come here and try it for yourself… Aloha.

Just had curbside chicken dinner. Congratulations! Your chicken rivaled my mother-in-laws and that is a huge compliment. Delicious. I highly recommend.

Got in late to Volcano and headed over to the lodge for dinner. Very friendly and aloha spirit. Our waitress Kim was very pleasant and attentive. We had delicious crab cakes to start and then the market fresh fish of the day over coconut rice. Pricey but normal for the islands. Will be going back for breakfast I'm sure since We are staying for a few days.

We've eaten out every day for the weeks. This was the best meal yet❤

Wonderful food and service… the happy hour treats are amazing and the main courses yummy! The Lilikoi tart is the perfect dessert … service was excellent as well!

My favorite place to be. The food is amazing; we eat breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The staff, the rooms, the atmosphere, their cat Meatloaf, all amazing.

Took my father in law out to breakfast. I love walking into the dining room. It is so pretty & inviting with the beautiful wood burning fireplace. They have a wonderful breakfast menu, we both enjoyed the King Eggs Benedict with country home potatoes. Just delicious, we so enjoyed our breakfast. Our waitress, I can’t remember her name but she was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back again.

Had lunch at Kilauea Lodge restaurant today found out it had been sold a few months ago had my mouth watering for Antelope and buffalo sliders only to find out they were no longer on the menu settled for a burger which was mediocre enjoyed the lava cake. While eating a group of about 30 tourists came in and the decibel level went through the roof was so bad I had to put tissues in my ears and let me tell you something I'm very hard of hearing and for that noise to be so loud for me it had to be really bad for others. When I asked the waitress said it's like that when the room gets full. Hey owners fix the damn acoustics it's not fun dining with that noise level.

Neat place to stay if you are into nature. Be aware there ate no TVs in rooms. Breakfast was awesome. Staff friendly. Great sleeping with windows open and hearing the rain. Stayed here wanting to be close to park but unfortunately it was closed so no tours for us.

My mother and I always stayed at KĪlauea Military Camp (KMC) for many years. But when Hawaii Volcanoes National Park closed because the earthquakes and the hazardous, unexpected conditions in May we’ve actually had withdrawals about not staying overnight at Volcano. After some research and also saw this on our local news. My mother and I stayed for my birthday for one night in July. They very much do offer great prices, AND it always comes with breakfast! The menu is a separate set from the regular with about 8 items to choose from, and there are options for vegetarians. If you want something additional like say pancakes or French toast it’s $5 extra without tax. A throwback to simpler times. All rooms do not have any television, but that never bothered me and my Mom. We enjoyed the quiet, serene, and mini earthquakes (we live for that stuff. Or at least I do. I love science). They do have outlets for plugs, closet space, drawers, and a heated towel rack. There’s even access to a hot tub! Everything is clean and dusted down even in the corners. My mother and I love, love nature. Kīlauea Lodge has built with nature in mind so that you can get both a feel for modern cabin lodging and also the joys of the Volcano ecology. Also, be advised there are NO fridgerators. An ice chest would be good to have, and there is a store nearby to purchase general items and food, as well as ice and water. It’s just a leisure walk down the road.

The most amazing staff! Super friendly, personable and caring. The food was great too but the staff and service is really what I'd go back for.

Went for the new Pau Hana menu, I especially loved the spring rolls and poke. Service always great.

Went on a Monday night. Service was attentive and reasonably speedy. Food was tasty with hearty portion sizes. Definitely try the Chipotle lava cake for dessert.

Food was solid but expensive. Had the duck and catch of the day (Ahi). Quinoa was dry and didn’t add to dish. Vegetables were cooked plain (broccoli & cauliflower) — not much flavor by themselves. Bread was good and made onsite. Will look elsewhere for next dinner.

Excellent dinner stop. Ahi tuna could be prepared 3 different ways. We had the lemon piccata and the ginger mango, both we're delicious. Nice selection of wine and drinks. Beautiful country lodge feel and excellent service.

Went for beakfast. Very happy with the homemade corned beef hash. Server was attentive and made sure my coffee was always topped off!

Kilauea Lodge is one of the most beautiful places to visit and stay. Volcano Village is just so delightful to visit and the village is a fun place to do a little shopping. Kilauea Creations, the Volcano Galleries, November Black Friday artists open house and Sunday Farmers market are just gems. Villagers are very warm and friendly. Dinner at the Lodge is homemade and tasty. Truly a treasure.

What a gem in the middle of no where on the volcano in Volcano. We only ate there but amazing food. Great atmosphere, except the real air (volcano was errupting).

Had the pasion fruit martinis (liliko'i) which were amazing… cozy place in the mountains. Had the Nicoise salad and the fish sandwich which were both very good. service decent and friendly. They were out of their homeade buns and several dishes.

The restaurant has friendly service, comfortable atmosphere, good food and decent prices for the area. One of the better restaurant experiences in East Hawaii.

This is a real neat place. The atmosphere is great and the decor is top notch. Breakfast served with the meal is amazing. The food I had for dinner was hit and miss. Some was great like the fish, fruit, bread, and soup. Some was less stellar like the steak and chicken malaise. Get the a German food (as odd as that sounds in Hawaii) the owner is German and knows his way around a sausage. Cell phone strength for Google Fi is great but Wi-Fi is poor in certain areas like the cottage. The cat here is old and very friendly. Quick trip to the mountain.

It is a relatively cool but very humid climate here, so you know why the rainforest is called. The cottages are clean, but everything is a little clam, because of the moisture. Parking is free, the food is i. O. And cheaper than Honolulu! Sometimes something different, but no longer than 2 nights.

I got a quick breakfast there. The service was great, we were seated immediately and the waitress was friendly. The menu is a little limited, but not bad. The coffee was a little weak, and the breakfast sandwich that I got had a little bit too much smoke flavor, but was okay. The country fried potatoes were delicious, though.

Very fine coffee and breakfast. Next time you stayed here to visit the Vocano NP.

Delicious breakfast, cosy ambience and very nice service. We will be happy to stop here again and, especially next time, just stay here.

I made reservations online and noted that it was for a birthday. They called the day before to get the name of the birthday person. It was a nice surprise to see all the staff greet us with huge smiles and happy birthday wishes. They even set balloons out on the table and printed a special personalized Happy Birthday message on the menus. The food was delicious! The prime rib rolls were so tender and flavorful on the inside and light & crispy on the outside. We also had a fillet of succulent duck with candied oranges… yum! We added lilikoi margaritas to it and called it a party. But still all of that goodness was topped off with lilikoi cream cheese and chocolate decadence pie slices, they were perfect! What made it even better was that all the staff got together and sang a nice upbeat Happy Birthday song to the tune of "Do-Wah-Diddy" while they brought out the dessert. Excellent experience!

The food is great and the Lava Flow Rico Rich.

High price for cold lodge The lodge itself was very tasteful, clean and furnished with attention to detail. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms and USB chargers!
Two heating fans should heat the completely uninsulated lodge at 8 ° C at night. The beds were clam. The walls consisted only of a thin board layer. The heating fan we put in the bedroom made for a very restless night. Every time he jumped again, we were awake again!
The breakfast was leìder not all you can eat, but you could choose only one from the menu.
All in all, I expect more for the proud price you pay.
