I have never ever been treated so badly. Although not written anywhere the manager says it is “their” policy that if you do not leave your room before 11:00 am they won’t clean it because they don’t hire housekeeping after noon. So we were supposed to stay 4 days and had to leave after first night because personnel kept literally harassing us demanding to know what time we were going to be out and repeating “if you don’t leave before noon we won’t clean your room”. Manager actually yelled. I recorded a video and filed a formal complaint.

I've stayed at a lot of Best Westerns that were extremely nice and the staff was friendly and have never been charged a 100$ deposit. But this one charged us, didn't tell us about the deposit, and still waiting for our money to be reimbursed. I would diffently stay away from this place. There are better quality hotels down the road. Sad thing about this, 10 years ago we stayed here and loved it. We are originally from this area, but this place is going down hill.

Enjoyed my stay. Would go back. + Clean and nicely decorated. + No I-45 noise (from room facing east) + Excellent scrambled eggs and biscuits — Noise from above. A giant stamping around? — Breakfast sausage was cold/dry.

Love love love the Woodlands and this best western! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The woman who makes breakfast really does a fabulous job, and so sweet!

Definitely wasn’t impressed with my recent stay. I don’t knw if I’ll be staying here again unless I have no other choice. We figured because the location it’s in is nice that it would be a nice place with friendly staff. Well we were definitely wrong. We had a few bad run ins with the Property manager. She definitely didn’t conduct business in the right manner. Yelling, cussing and screaming at people or young kids around age 5 and under in my book is unacceptable. Also lost our phone and it was in the back behind the front office desk and we were lied to telling us that it wasn’t there. Kept getting told there was no phone and then a worker that found it told us the truth that it was back there and went and retrieved it for us. So I don’t know if I could stay here again. Definitely wasnt satisfied with this stay.

Poor service and rude staff! Charged a $100 deposit at check-in with no warning on website, snappy when questioning this! Did not seem like a QUALITY best western at all! More like a comfort suites or quality inn. If it doesn’t prove how rude this lady has been to me, you can see her response for a better clue.

Rooms nice very clean everything was wonderful except the so called breakfast. Breakfast would of been great if you was in Huntsville state prison. Eggs where hard boiled biscuits where hockey pucks no gravy. J hist not what I was expecting when they said full breskfast.

Pros: Great house keeping. Clean rooms. Tina at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Loved her. Cons: The beds were hard and the pillows were small and lumpy, not the quality pillows expected of a hotel. Toiletries given were “meh”. Breakfast was okay. All in all it wasn’t the worst hotel but I don’t see where the “Best Western PLUS” comes in. It was very basic. It’s an old hotel with easy interstate access. It was just a bit uncomfortable after a long drive.

It smells a bit, not sure of what? Front desk lady was nice. There was workout equipment that looked broken in the lobby. It’s on the highway so it well used. First room we walked in and fridge was in the middle of the entry broken and microwave was gone. We called down and she moved us right away and was apologetic. It’s pretty clean. They do seem to stretch the Linens out… like one towel had makeup stains and the white duvet cover had a stain. Or they are skimping on the industrial soap. Mattress covers and sheets do not fit the mattresses. For it to be a Best Western Plus is a stretch… plus what? Bathroom was clean.

Very nice place to stay. Clean and great look large rooms. Not far from anywhere we wanted to go. Would stay again.

The hotel was great the price even better. The room was clean, remodeled and spacious. The noise I read about from highway traffic was not noticeable in our room. Breakfast had variety, egg and sausage burritos one day another day biscuits and gravy and waffles. Overall good and we would stay again. Staff was friendly.

I really enjoy this place we stayed in the room that has a Jacuzzi in it and it was a total relaxing experience. As well the hospitality is friendly and professional and helpful if you need anything. The breakfast food is really great everything is fresh and the breakfast room is well maintained. This is the second time that I have been there and I would have come back there again. Thank you Best Western for making this an enjoyable experience.

Great hotel; GREAT STAFF! I've been going through a lot of turmoil in my life recently and needed a "night away", BADLY! I checked in on Friday for that not only but ended up staying through Tuesday because the hotel, B. W. On I-45 and TX Hwy 242, was the ONLY place I could get comfortable and relax! That included my house (which is in Spring. 15 minutes from the hotel), church, the "bar"… all the typical places one should be able to go to "cool off" and clear one's head. To me, that says a lot about an environment! The staff was friendly, polite, attentive, detailed and organized. I watched several situations in which the employee could have lost his or her "cool", but each time I saw the person take a second or a minute to remain calm and work through the situation and or ask for help when they needed it! HIGHLY IMPRESSED, BEST WESTERN! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! This city NEEDS more hotels and PEOPLE LIKE THIS! God Bless!

Staff is friendly enough, a little short. Free breakfast, that's always a plus in my book. The bagels are hard as a rock tho, and I love my bagels. That was disappointing. The rooms need an update. They should remodel soon, it doesn't feel very "plus". All in all not a bad hotel for a business trip, but I wouldn't look here if you are looking for a nice place to relax.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Front rooms were a bit noisy from the highway traffic, but the staff quickly moved me to a back room upon request. Breakfast foods were hot and kept well stocked.

Very good location. Competitively priced for the area. Fastest internet I have ever had in a hotel. Treadmill out of order. Breakfast so so. Friendly staff. May stay there again but will check other options first.

Nice place. Not too many complaints. It's clean, easily accessible from the road, and near a gas station so you can get incidentals quick.

The staff was rather pleasant. But, that doesn't make up for a very uncomfortable bed, Shoddy pillows and a lack of response when we asked for more pillows. The room smelled stagnant. Some of the wallpaper/ paint was peeling. And there was something smeared on one of the walls. Had the room only cost $80 a night, it would have been a different story. Because there was a concert going on, tax and all, it was $200. Definitely definitely not worth the money.

We reserved three rooms to be all the same. But one was higher priced than the other two and was to be resolved on the same day off checking out but we are still waiting on that. Other than that the stay was nice. And we really appreciate the operation of the TV and remote. Usually have trouble with this at other motels.

What a great location in The Woodlands on I-45. Easy come & Easy go. Very happy & helpful staff. I will be back…

We checked in and were given a room and room key to a room that was in the beginning process of getting cleaned. The front desk clerk came up and gave us a new room. The bed was very uncomfortable, the sheets were paper thin and the pillows were very small and lumpy. At breakfast we were told breakfast was closing an hour early because they had rented it to someone to have a class. At checkout three of us were waiting for the front desk clerk to checkout for at least 5-10 minutes. Finally she showed up, she had been busy setting up the room for the class, she did not apologize for making us wait. I think the guests needs were put second to this person who was rented the breakfast room. I am not one to complain but given a dirty room, uncomfortable bed and bedding, closing breakfast an hour early and being neglected at check out was just too much.

Over all a nice hotel was a little hard to find with there beeing no sign. And the bathroom counter was falling apart. Staff could have been more friendly. Sorry I had to bother them to check me in.

Evacuated by hurricane Harvey. Staff at hotel bent over backwards to ensure anyone who came in had a place to sleep. They converted the conference room to dorm to accommodate first responders. Many came with nothing — they were incredible to everyone. The owners just became US citizens and are very proud Americans. Bless their incredible efforts!

We were stranded here by hurricane Harvey, and the staff did their best to make our stay more comfortable. It was a very clean and functional space. There were a few glitches in the room, but due to the influx of refugees, we didn't feel we could change rooms. The outdoor pool was unusable in the cold, lightning-riddled storm. We made the best of it. However, when the woman at the front desk Monday morning (who seemed like an owner) checked us out at 6:30 (when we weren't informed of the port status until 8:30) she refused to give us the untaxed rate that all the other dislocated people got because "you're not from here. " When we wanted to borrow the luggage cart to load our car, she told us, "You're welcome to go find it. We have four stories, and it might be in someone's room. " In short, the moment we were no longer guests, we were pests.

The service is great. The rooms are large and comfortable, and it's in the vicinity of several restaurants and grocery stores (it nearly shares a parking lot with Costco and sits on the opposite side of i-45 from Walmart). There are also plenty of places to shop nearby.

I went there to pick up a friend visiting from out of town. Pretty convenient location right off the interstate. The interior was nice enough. My friend said the bed was super hard.

Nice hotels but to go to the second floor you have to go through a maze. Room and bath clean and good size. Staff were friendly but not super. Toiletries were tiny, especially the soap bars. I am a middle sized person, million miles traveler, and stayed in hundreds of hotels; the soap bars in this hotel were so tiny ;). Also towels worn out and need to be replaced with new and better quality types.

Wonderful clean hotel. Friendly staff. The atmosphere is very modern, love the furniture. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good too. Thanks, guys!

StAyed last night and will be going back tonight due to the fact we made reservations. Had to call desk last night and complain about people in room above us bouncing on floor. Sounded like they were. Coming thru ceiling. They did nothing. Finally stopped midnight and started again this morning around 5am. Won't stay here again.

I would like to thank Mithra who works at this hotel. She was so wonderful to my 4 children. My 2 year old was drinking her milk during breakfast and accidentally spilled it in the breakfast area in the morning, Milthra quickly took care of it and also replaced her the utensil that she had dropped as well. Thank you so much. She represent your company well.

I loved it here. The place was very clean and my room was as well. I had no issues during my 2 day stay and would definitely visit again.

The hotel isn't bad. But defiantly has room for improvement. I liked the pillows and bed were comfortable. The breakfast and coffee sucked like most hotels in this price. The room was large and comfortable. I did see a small roach in my bathroom once. The air was off in my room when I arrived late at night and was very warm. Had to wait an hour or so to cool down, I wasn't happy at 3 am. It took 2 requests and 2 days to get the mini fridge fixed. Detail to cleanliness is a miss. Despite having hd tvs the channels all come in sd. The towels were sandpaper, typical for Best Western. I might stay there again just to see if my first visit was a bad rarity I also might not.

We have stayed at this Best Western several times in the past year and have never been disappointed. The facility is clean and well maintained. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious food and is displayed in an orderly and hygienic fashion. We will definitely book with the Best Western of the Woodlands in the future.

Everyone from room service to the manager have been very nice and extremely accommodating to us during our extended stay. We will defiantly return if we find ourselves back in this area. Great location and amazing staff, what more could you ask for.

Beautiful new hotel. The room was gorgeous, spacious and very clean. It was in a nice area and the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. We will be staying there again.

Hotel has great rates for nightly stay with clean rooms. One thing is we held a meeting there and the room didn't have A/C which made it uncomfortable during the summer months. There was no public restrooms which also made is difficult for the people at the meeting.

New place. Nice and clean. Close to highway and stoes.

We had our family Christmas party there. We had more than enough room everyone enjoyed it. The staff was more than helpful. Also gave our family from out of town a awesome group rate!

First time to stay in one of the Plus style of BW. The rooms looked like a cheaper version of the Holiday Inn express. The breakfast was okay the facilities here were in good shape. Lower cost options in this area that I would use again.

The room cleaning service stole items from both my work partner and I. We checked out in the morning and called the front desk less than an hour after realizing we had left a few things in our room. The front desk said the rooms had already been cleaned and no items were reported found. On top of the already terrible customer service we received, we can't even trust the staff to have enough integrity to not steal. Do not stay here!

I was there for Ironman Texas 2015. Luis the Manager was well prepared for the competitors. He asked if we were going to put our bikes together and then offered some sheets to put our bikes on while we worked on them. Also he provided the competitors with breakfast from roughly 2:30 to 5:00am in order for us to get our calories in before the race. Could not have asked for a better host. Would recommend staying at the Best Western if you are planning on doing the race and cannot get into the host hotel (only for logistical reasons).

Everything is nice except Wi-fi sometimes.

One-ply toilet paper. What else can I say? I am there almost weekly on my job with a regional Foodservice delivery company. Rooms have always been clean, never any odd smells, clean linens, the only bug I've seen was a lady bug (today, in fact), staff usually very friendly and helpful (although I do sometimes get the impression the owners aren't too happy to accept CLC users. But they do). I just can't bring myself to give more than 3 stars to a place that furnishes it's paying guests with the cheapest worthless toilet paper on the market. Nobody enjoys stink-finger, dude. Nobody.

Below par for the Woodlands. I've been in three rooms and the situation was about the same in all of them. Rooms are not clean with splatters on walls, artwork, and curtains. The carpets and furniture were nice, but dirty and frayed. There is water damage in the ceilings and exterior walls. Our first room had not been cleaned, but they nicely found another room for us. We had electrical problems that left us with no lights in the bathroom some of the time. The hotel ran out of facial tissue. The rooms smell like mildew mixed with other fragrances, each one having a unique personality. We had wasps appearing in our room, which we had to handle ourselves. Some of the clean towels the maid dropped off had been rolled up before they were completely dry. During our entire stay there, one of the hallway smoke alarms was beeping due to a dead battery. If you want milk or yogurt with your breakfast, be sure to go to breakfast early before they run out. Be cautious of the oatmeal toppings, they are left out all day and night uncovered. Many of the white towels have stains. If you can't keep the white towels white, maybe it would be wise to choose a different color? The hangers in the room are permanently attached to the closet bar, making it difficult hang a garment bag. All that said, the staff are really friendly. The furnishings in the rooms are nice (the bathroom is especially nice, with a good tub surround and granite countertop).

A good value for the nightly room rate. Request a room on the east side of the building (opposite from I-45). Also, in-room AC/heater is loud — ear plugs helped. Local manager was no help at all in assisting me with getting missed rewards points.
