Beautiful, clean, comfortable rooms. The staff at the morning buffet were so wonderful. Jimmy at the front desk could not have been better! Best service ever.

This Hotel is so nice they compare prices. Hot tub the rooms are updated. You have so many attractions in the area. The Guest service and management treat you with respect. They have 20 floors and always sells out. This is a good hotel to get away and vacations. I love here microwave and refrigerator on rooms. House keeping is on point. this is my second time staying here in the last two months. Coming back next month. 5 star yes…

I was very disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel even for the price we paid. The hotel is far from main stores and the airport. Customer service is horrible and it seems because we booked through a third party they provided us the worst room in the hotel, despite having availability to provide us with a decent room. This truly contradicts the use of the third party vendors. Typically to gain your business, businesses want to impress you versus treat you less than t…he customers that paid directly through their company. This hotel is listed as an premium hotel/4 star stating it has 4 star reviews, but it doesn't. I found many complaints of the other guest to be true. The room they provided to us didn't have a microwave or refrigerator. We contacted the front desk. We were on hold for a long period of time and had to leave before we missed our reservations. Today, I called again and was told all the rooms don't include them but this is a premium collection hotel. Over $60 worth of food spoiled. Even a 2 star hotel typically comes with a fridge and/or microwave. Lastly, the hot tub and pool were the primary reasons for choosing the hotel 45 minutes away from our family but the hot tub was filthy. I didn't even want to try the pool.

This hotel was dirty. Spills and Room service trays remained on the floor my entire duration. Initially had to switch rooms do to hair being all over the bathroom floor as well as the "clean" towels.

Heater didn't work in our room on the 17th floor and room was half cleaned.

This is a great location for tourist. I would recommend it.

I’m giving this place 1 star for their friendly staff. The rooms are nothing to write home about and there’s no free breakfast. The location is also a bit sketchy… We had our vehicle stolen from their parking lot and from the look on their faces this is something that happens pretty often. We had over 3, 000 worth of equipment stolen and our car was destroyed. The cameras at this place are no help and no one is responsible for any items stolen in the parking lot. We are really afraid to stay here again because we would hate to go through this again. They need to at least pay someone to do security at the entrance so random people don’t come in and out as they please with our items.

Hotel was very comfortable, clean, and cozy. There were only two downsides when I stayed here 1 was that the pool is indoors and you can hear everything going on in the pool since all of the rooms face indoors. The second thing was that I got a king size room with a sleeper sofa and the sleeper sofa mattress was extremely thin and uncomfortable something you'd imagine in a jail cell. We ended up exchanging the room for two queen beds because there was no way I was going to put my son on that crappie bed. The staff was really friendly especially the doorman and they were more than happy to help us switch rooms we even asked for a room that was further from the pool and they were happy to accommodate us. The pool does close at 10 but if you're an early bird that's kind of late. Overall I did enjoy my stay and I probably would stay here again.

Paid 85 for the room after tax. You get what you pay for. It has a beautiful lobby, entrance, and meeting room facilities. Our room itself wasn't anything special as can be observed from pictures I've previously posted. There were stains on the comforter and small holes in it. Had a fold out bed, room service was expensive, we did not partake. Mediocre hotel that I wouldn't choose over a Holiday Inn, Laquinta, or Best Western.

It is a very good hotel situated around Energy Corridor axis of Houston. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The draw back is that they have limited variety of breakfast meal to choose from. Everything there is excellent.

This hotel was terrible. We stayed for our anniversary and knew that it was going to be a bad experience from the moment we checked in. The lines at the front desk were extremely long and it took about 45 minutes for us to check-in although we had already paid ahead and reserved a room. The elevators were smelly and dirty. The maids were still cleaning our rooms when we went up to put our bags down. They did not do such a great job because there was hair everywhere in the bathroom. The surrounding neighborhood is not the greatest (but that didn't bother us much). The walls were extremely thin… you could hear full conversations and sexual activities loud and clear. The housekeeping staff did not bring us any towels the next day. We asked the front desk (long line again), tried calling (no answer), and spoke directly with the housekeeping staff. We were assured we would get new towels. We did not get any new towels the entire stay. We bought our own. Worst hotel experience I have ever had — this should be a 1 or 2 star hotel at best.

Long story short: I booked a room through a third party booking site and it turned out to be a scam — the money I gave to the site didn’t pay for my room after all. After hours on the phone with the hotel and being sent to customer service, no one was willing to allow me to cancel the reservation without a fee or without paying out of pocket for the room (again). Eventually, I spoke to a WONDERFUL employee named Marilyn — and she was kind, understanding and incredibly helpful! She allowed me to cancel the reservation without the cancellation fee and she was such a delight to talk to. Ironically, the hotel employees at this Energy Corridor location were MUCH kinder than the customer service center they sent me to in Indianapolis.

The employee's are so nice and make you feel so welcome. It's so beautiful inside. The roof has sun beaming through, I actually begin sun bathing in the hotel lobby.

Very convenient location for our travel plans. The room was great, comfortable bed, sheets, and awesome pillows. Customer service was so friendly and attentive always smiling which is reassuring. Will definitely book here again.

Stayed here last night. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Reasonable rate for very nice rooms. The lounge is nice and quaint. Nice place to have a drink and unwind after a long day. I would reccomend the Wyndham to anyone looking for a nice hotel in this area.

Very comfortable bed! Indoor patio rooms are awesome! Overall condition of the property was good, but not great. Housekeeping and staff overall could use some work. Considering the price we would likely stay here again though.

I stayed here for a night and slept really well in a king size bed. I got a chance to enjoy breakfast in the hotel restaurant and got the chicken and waffles which came with my choice of eggs and some potatoes. It was really good and they give you a lot for the price you pay. It was enough to feed 2 ppl for $15. So in a way it's a bit pricey but if you and a friend want the same thing it's enough for the both of you to split.

Got stuck with an "accessable" room which had a shower that essentially soaked the bathroom, no matter how much care was taken. The pillows were very small — like couch pillows. Strange. Maintenance was quick to respond to our air conditioning, which was on the fritz. Location was good and the staff helpful.

Very nice looking place. Good lighting. I liked the layout of the restaurant. The parking lot is a 1-way loop so be careful that you don't end up going the wrong way.

This is actually a really nice hotel it just looks CD from the outside because of the gate around it. But the reason that they have a gate around the hotel is because the hotel offers rental car service so once you get in and you see that you have extremely safe parking and also the options to run a car then you understand why the hotel is gaited the way it is. I went in and I have reserved a room for Friday they were extremely booked so I asked if I could change my reservation to Saturday and they were happy to assist me and I was happy to change the reservation because my plans allowed it. The room was extremely clean the bed was phenomenal nice sheets comfortable even the couch bed was comfortable as well. I love the bathrooms in this hotel because most Hotel bathrooms are so small that literally you open the door and it almost hit your knees if you're sitting on a toilet use bathrooms are long and spacious and really well lit. For me this is a big deal because I had three of my kids with me and sometimes in a small hotel room that's the only way to kind of get a little bit of me time is to go in there and take a bath so I appreciated the bathrooms cleanliness space and Lighting maybe a little too much. I was also able to pre-order breakfast for all of us the night before and it was delivered to our room at the time requested which I thought was super fantastic that they offered something like that.

When we arrived the pool didn't work and that's what me and my boyfriend were looking forward to enjoying and the spa area was invaded with little kids. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. As far as the breakfast, it was okay. I really disliked that the walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING. I couldn't sleep until 2am because of the noise. I honestly don't see why they rate this hotel as a 4 star hotel…

Worth your monies. Nice and quiet area, up to date rooms with super comfy bed. The overall cleanliness of the room was impeccable. Bummer that I had to give four stars due to the inattentive front desk clerk that announced how busy he was with paperwork. Wyndham should consider how understaffing affects what should be five stars.

The staff is very nice, attentive, it's in a great location. I love the inside pool and hot tub. The restaurant has great food. The room's there has accommodations for all occasion. The conference rooms can accommodate all occasions as well, from private parties to business meetings. I give it a thumbs up.

Over priced, my room was not not made up, no free coffee or breakfast.

Amenities in room were not stocked. Coffee offered at Hotel was shut down at 3:00pm when we checked in. Coffee pot in room was not clean internally. My wife works in the food safety and prep industry. She looked at it before we poured water in Coffee pot. Front desk staff couldn’t have given a rats A$$ if I was there or another hotel chain. Probably won’t stay at this hotel again!

Like I️m dumb and can’t understand anything … The vending is credit card only — no cash Parking sucks There is nowhere close to an entrance There are no smoking rooms There’s hardly any staff available to assist guests Overall if the staff had been replace with caring customer service representatives this could have been a fantastic stay Maybe a few customer service training classes could help?

I don't know how they got a 3 star rating. Maybe the Wyndham name? Visiting a friend there we ordered dinner to go. They didn't include silverware or condiments, when we called down (3 times) they finally offered to bring some up. An hour later the food was cold and inedible. They offered no refund or compensation so that was a waste of time and money. The rooms were adequate but not kept up well. Missing screws and screw caps on many of the fixtures. Little things like these make up a 3-5 star rated hotel. Not just the name. A microwave would have at least made the meal edible. Alas there was none.

The room was extremely comfortable. Having a refrigerator was a great touch. The staff was friendly and helpful. Lena, who works in the coffee shop was great. There is plenty of parking.

Rather disappointed overall. Room was nice and clean. King size bed comfortable. Good heating as it was record breaking cold during my visit. No microwave or frig in room, requested them at front desk and was told as soon as they were available they would let us know but we would charged an additional fee! I was never contacted during my entire stay about them. I feel like a lot of the place is 'cosmetically' done but no real quality. My stay at the Hilton was by far more eloquent. Especially with the rates nowadays.

I'm in town for work. The Wyndam is in perfect proximity of where I'm working this week. The hotel is nice and clean and the front desk worker was extremely nice and helpful. He upgraded my room to include a refrigerator and microwave since I will be in town for a week. He did that without me asking which I thought was very thoughtful.

The hotel says it's gotten an award for being green but I can barely get my shower to stop dripping, also the shower head itself was dangling and I had to stand near the wall just to get under the water. There is a pool in the lobby and most of the rooms are nearby so when guests are in the pool at 10pm you can hear them like they are in your room. The rooms themselves are pretty standard and the staff is all great but overall I would not like to stay here again.

Second time attending this hotel for a large summit. Hotel has beautiful aesthetics, layout and interior design. Love their sky-lit atrium. Had a great experience working with their events and communications team. Christina (Chris) the events manager and JD the AV manager were great and always helpful with setting up, fixes, and overall getting ready for company events.

They sent me an email prior to my arrival asking if I needed anything specific. I asked them for a playpen or bassinet (they advertise on their site that they offer this) and extra towels in my room … when I checked in I had neither. What's the point of asking? The indoor pool was not that great… the water temperature was good but it was freezing in the pool room. Cold enough to catch a flu or a cold. They didn't clean the room until late the following day. No mini fridge or microwave. The security guard in the parking lot stood around and did a lot of chit chatting instead of securing. Location of hotel isn't as close to fun as I would of liked it took 15 min or longer to get to somewhere fun. Restroom was nice. Staff was nice. Overall will not stay here again.

I've been in better one star hotels that offer free mini fridge, and microwave. You have to reserve one and it first come first serve. The room was nice aside from the not clean floor (food, packs of hair ties and Bobby pins, and children's toys) under the beds. The door to the bathroom is scratched to hell from keeping what I'm guessing is a dog inside it. No exhaust fan in the bathroom too. All in all one star.

Just wish they had more hours for shuttles and the driver was not so rough with the guests… Also water in the room would be very nice, it's not that expensive and a very nice tough for your guests specially being in Texas. Other then that is very lean and they are on top of everything else… Thanks.

I have stayed in several Wyndham hotels, and the experience and rooms are completely different than pictured on any website. This Wyndham is by far the worst! Nothing in my room was clean and everything was torn up and very old. The staff was very rude, specifically the GM (Chris Miller) who refused to refund my room. You can’t expect someone to sleep in a hotel room that is that nasty. You’d be better off at a crappy motel than this “four star” Wyndham.

Me encata much this place. The room was very clean you had a bar, very soft. The persons are good people. It has views fabolosas of the city also. This close to the freeway and there is another bar very near.

We talk to them from the morning that brought us toilet paper that I just. We went and when we returned at 11 the night they still had not filled. Besides the rooms are not very clean and the bathrooms.

Probably one of the worst hotels I've stayed at with a 4 star rating. I've stayed at 2 star hotels that were a lot nicer. The rooms are small and not very clean. They doors sit higher off the ground then standard, which allows the noise from the hall to easily be an issue. Our room didn't have any toilet paper, and it didn't even have a smoke alarm. The batteries had been completely pulled out. Maintenance came and "fixed" it, but didn't actually fix it. Mind you all rooms must have working smoke alarms. We will not stay here again and don't suggest it. You are better going to a comfort in.

I stayed at the Wyndham for 3 nights and I have to say it was among the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and the options available were great if you'd wanted to stay in for a bit. I didn't use the pool or the fitness center, but I did go to the in-hotel bar (7 day happy hour). I also enjoyed the transportation services that would take you and pick you up for free, the gentleman (Mr. John) dropped me to the mall although his shift was ending. That was all facilitated my the lovely front desk members Jimmy and Evette, they made our first stay in Houston much easier because of their services.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 3 years. The rooms are not as clean as they used to be. Hair on the floor in the bathroom and in the tub. Mirrors and TV in the room smudged with fingerprints and dusty. I ordered room service and they were out of the first three items I asked for.
I had to call down for toilet paper. A light bulb was burned out in one of the lamps. I took the bulb out and laid it on the nightstand… the light bulb was gone when I got back to my room and they did not put a new bulb in the lamp.
The toilet would not flush properly… had to hold the handle down for every flush (I stayed 4 nights)
The beds are super comfortable and the pillows are awesome!
Hopefully this review does not go on deaf ears and these issues are taken care of. This hotel is in a perfect location to our corporate office and my company books this hotel often.
Just OK this time.

The hotel is conveniently located in a good neighborhood by the West Energy Corridor. There is a bus stop directly across the street that can quickly get you to the businesses in the corridor then afterward it goes straight downtown. I stayed in a deluxe room with a King bed. The room was well cleaned, and the staff was very nice. The only thing missing was a free continental breakfast, but they do have a restaurant in the lobby to buy a full breakfast. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, I would recommend it to others, and will stay there again next time I visit Houston.

I really enjoyed my stay, beds where very comfy rooms where very nice and clean, as soon as u walked in u could smell the cleanseness, I loved that it had the free washers and dryers, and nice computer center with printer, very nice workers, front desk and managers and the cleaning crew where extra help full for all our needs, and we forgot a few things like our tooth paste, month wash, men's deodorant, and plastic bags to put our dirty clothes in, it was an all and all great stay, the pools, weight room where very clean and nice, the people we meet in the bar, where super nice the bartenders, Thank God we where blessed to stay there, then my hubby got sick, but my 2 sons had a blast, TY again the Wyndham Houston and the wonderful Staff here's a few we meet, and where very helpful very nice people, I will post there names later left the card in my car with the names of 3 great people, I would surly go back, had one problem but it was taken care of so fast, I was very Impressed!, and will tell others of our great stay there, the Starbucks is what I enjoyed, very pleased stay.

Midrange property with luxury aspirations. Comfortable accommodations. Slight wear on room and furniture as well as background noise. On site bar and restaurant as well as 18 hour room service. Food was nothing special but with large portions. Very clean and convenient location. Definitely would stay again.

I stayed for a night at the Wyndham. The beds were comfortable, and I loved the indoors pool. The only bad thing was the guest beside me got really loud and I could hear them. However, I could not hear the guest in the halls… which was a nice thing. I would stay there again.

Staff are very attentive. Location is in a nice neighborhood. Kid-friendly hotel. It's not a new hotel but is very clean and well maintained.

Great hospitality! We enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable beds. We didn't partake in the room service. Only thing I didn't like was that the pool had an abundance of chlorine, the essence overwhelmed the lobby. Overall, I would stay here again.

I arrived with three other women for a room with two queen beds. After a long day at the rodeo we check in. Immediately find out they don't have a room with two beds left. We were told we could have a room with a sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa has a stain on it and no extra bedding for it. The " king " size bed was smaller than a standard King. We called three times for bedding and asked for a rollaway We were told a rollaway would not fit

I finally rented a second room to accommodate all four of us. We get our key for second room and the bed appeared to have been previously used. Sheets untucked, no comforter. The bed was a Full size! There was a garment laying over the chair that did not belong to us. When I called and complained I was told by Ashlyn that she would check me out of that room and I could leave or check me into another room and I would be charged for all three! my husband had to drive in after midnight to pick my daughter and I up. We had reservations to stay next weekend for two rooms but cancelled and will NOT be back. This is the problem with having a 22 year old running a large hotel! No housekeeping after a certain time. As we set for two hours in lobby waiting for my husband the front desk was left unattended as Ashlyn went in room behind front desk and shut the door. People came in several times to empty front desk.

Not given the promised 2 double bed because of a later check-in. To accommodate our party we needed to pay for a second room. The second room was Already used or previously rejected as the bed untucked & covers were unsettled and the Front Desk personnel (especially Ashlynn) were rude, discourteous, and non accommodating about cleaning this room or giving us a 3rd room unless we paid for both the 2nd & 3rd room. I will never stay at a Wyndham. I do NOT Recommend Wyndham Houston West Energy Corridor to anyone. The staff are spiteful. Buyer beware.

We loved our stay here! We were treated very well. Everyone seemed to remember my name and cared about our needs. It was refreshing!

Excellent location, customer service need to increase a little more, if the sport was acceptable but not the best for a hotel of its category.

Front desk staff was great; hotel is recently updated with new paint, carpet, bathrooms, furniture, etc. We got a crazy low rate booking with HotelTonight, so it definitely exceeded my expectations. Some of our linens were in need of being retired to catch up with the rest of the updates though. I was also bummed there was no mini fridge.

Beautiful large room with micro fridge, coffee maker, plenty of outlets for electronic chargers, bath was private, large and included toiletries plus a shower cap. Plenty of towels and extra tissue. Staff was exceptional from the desk to housekeeping to room service. There are two restaurants on premises and the west Houston location was convenient to Katy mall or about 25 minutes or so to downtown, galleria etc. This hotel also has a heated indoor pool and work out room.

Some of the design elements and upkeep are inconsistent with the nominal four star rating — for instance, the pool is in the same room with the lobby, so the whole thing smells of chlorine (they've tried to ventilate, but only partially successfully). My sheets had a couple of small holes. That said, the rooms are tasteful and clean, and there's a nice, homelike feel about the the hotel. It you can get it at a good price — we used Priceline — you'll be quite happy here.

Not even 1star! Old hotel… 1st room — Hairs all over the bathroom floor and stains and hairs on the bed. They changed the room and still had same issues… Very musty smell. Don't waste your time and money!

Location: most affordable luxirous hotel in the Energy Corridor Rooms: looks just like the pictures online. Service: no free Wi-Fi or continental breakfast included.

This hotel is right off the interstate so moving around the city is easy, however, the rooms are what you would expect from any other hotel. Desk, TV, chair, ect… The icemachine, on the floor I stayed on, had that alge stuff, the kind you get from not cleaning those machines regularly. I thought it had just been on one piece of ice, but as I poured it out, I could see it was in all of it. The second day I was there, I unfolded a washcloth and there was what appeared to be a makeup stain on it. Thinking it was something that would not come out in the wash, I proceeded to soap it up, only to find the stain washing out. Needless to say, I did not use that rag. The chair in the corner of the room had an foot rest with it. The foot rest had several stains that made it an unsavory idea to even sit in the chair, yet alone prop up my feet.

Check in and out were easy and quick. My room was very clean. I had breakfast delivered to my room and I enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the hot tub, swimming pool and restaurant. All staff were kind and very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend The Wyndham to anyone staying in the area. 4 stars from me.

Stayed here 3 times always issues this last time I just left because at 9 a. M housekeeping throws the door open turns the light on yells loud housekeeping throws my room service bill down and can hear her going room to room screaming. When I called the frunt desk she said she, shouldn't of don't it if I had do not disturb up what does a screaming housekeeper have to do with me putting a do not disturb up or not never again if priceline gives me this hotel again I'm going to be sooooooooooooo mad may as well look at 2 star that was this is any damn way.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! We arrive, our room was great besides the fact that there was no microwave/ fridge… asked the front desk 3 times for one, never got it. Called the manager, she was nice enough to bring us one. Fridge barely worked. Our ceiling was leaking on several spots. The guy came and patched it up. Then on night 2 started leaking worse… had to change rooms… the room didn't have AC thay we changed into… had to move again. Finally was satisfied with that room, besides the urine smell in the bathroom. House keeping was great! Hot tub, there was way to much chlorine, and made my eyes burn the whole time. Breakfast wasn't worth it. Soggy potato wedges, runny eggs… watery oatmeal (etc) Washer and dryer were broke… The list goes on and on of problems that we had… ITS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Remote didn't work, dirty coffee machine, dirty stained towels, bugs in the nightstand, dirty ice, dirty ice bucket, broken phone, no toiletries (one soap), quoted two different prices then charged a higher third price, breakfast over an hour earlier than told at check in, set ac on 67 but it stayed hot and humid all night. 3 stars only because they didn't kick us out at 1 a. M. Because my dog was barking, because people were slamming doors in the hallway. Phone operator, front desk attendants, bellhop and overnight security people were all great, the hotel wasn't.

The hotel spelled like chlorine as soon as we walked in. The reason being is because the pool is located in the lobby of the hotel. I don't think this is a great feature for setting the ambiance for customers. Also, once we arrive on the floor we were staying on, the hallway after getting off the elevator smelled like pee. When we booked our reservation, the details stated that we would have a refrigerator and free breakfast. The manager did honor the details once we showed proof of the detail description. He also informed us that the description was wrong and he will get it fixed for future reference. The hotel breakfast was okay, but in my opinion not worth the price they are charging customers. Also, the customer service isn't great. I had to call front desk 3 times over issues within the hotel room. The manager had to send maintenance once and totally upgraded the room afterwards because of other issues…

The customer service was fine. There were many problems with the hotel though. The bathroom stunk like mildew half the time. You really worry when a smell comes and goes throughout a 2 day period. There was no vent in the bathroom either. Made it very stuffy. The room smelled like cigarettes very badly but was a non smoking room. The parking was horrible. The lot was full and they told me to park down the street at a church. It was not close at all. Luckily I found a spot after driving in the parking lot for 30 full minutes at midnight. The other guests were very loud. Not just some. Many of them. They were families with kids. Lots of families with kids and all had no respect for people who do not have kids. They were loud and let them run everywhere as if the hotel was a Chuck E Cheese. I did not go to the Wyndam to be around hundreds and hundreds of kids. Apparently some baseball thing was going on nearby and little leaguers littered the place. They could have warned me. Anyway for 72 bucks on Hotwire it wasn't bad. I have stayed worse. But I would have rather paid 120 for a nicer hotel. The people working there were very fast and friendly.

The attention to detail at this hotel is sub par.

The hotel lobby does not look like 4 star at all, and it does not have a full restaurant — but that's not important. When I left the hotel, I left my iPad and iPhone charges on the desk lamp's base which has 3 power supply outlets. So I had to call back to check if they are still there and I can retrieve the chargers. They said nobody entered the room (as the room was not cleaned after I left), but they couldn't find the chargers, which I have no reason to doubt, but only thing is: I promise I forgot those chargers in the room, so where are they now? Are they in some worker's own collection? That's the only thing that I can think of. By the way, I wanted a quiet room, but I was assigned a room facing I-10 so it's very noisy. Plus, in the night I could even hear the lifts' noise, even though my room was 2 rooms away from the lifts.

I took my two children to Houston to visit family, but wanted our own space to stay. I picked Wyndham because of the indoor pool. We had such a good time, we decided to stay a second night. The staff was super friendly, the food in the restaurant was very good and for $8 all you can eat buffet for the kids, they were loving life. Pancakes and fruit loops. The folks who cleaned our room were really nice. I can not say enough nice things about this place. We will come back.

My family and I stayed here to come visit the city. The hotel is very nice. Our room was very clean. Yes, one can smell the chlorine for the pool area; BUT, you will smell that with any indoor pool area. *My only complaint they don't offer free unlimited Wi-Fi. For the amount I am paying to stay for a night, I should get free unlimited Wi-Fi.

We stay there very often never had a problem up until this past weekend, besides an occasional smoke smell. This time though there was smeared makeup on the sheets and an open condom wrapper under the bed, and the cherry on top the toilet was not flushed.

If the lobby smells extremely like chlorine then don't go in the pool! The manager said that they don't use chlorine. I called BS and then he clarified by saying that they use chlorine in the hot tub, but only a cleaning agent in the pool. I guarantee you that cleaning agent is BLEACH. We swam in bleach and high levels of it. Here is how I know that: -We all (I had 3 rooms and 7 guests for 2 nights here) had BLURRY VISION for the entire day after swimming! YES. Blurred vision. They are so lucky that this went away. -Our bathing suits faded. Blue to grey. Hot pink to a dull pink. -Our hair was as hard as STRAW. I lost an inch and my Grandma who has white hair not only had an inch break off while we were there, but when she got home she couldn't wash out the knot that had fused in her hair and had to cut a few more inches off. Not to mention it had turned YELLOW while at the hotel. The manager saw our ROCK hard hair and her YELLOW hair. -My son, who swam the most, had dried out skin that was bright red and hurting him. We actually checked out an hour late because he was stuck in the bath crying! The manager was made aware of ALL of this. He didn't offer a room discount and I didn't ask, but seeing as how we all have to buy new bathing suits it would've been the decent thing to do! Not to mention my Grandma's salon bill to get her hair taken care of. I will say that my highlights lightened (which isn't a bad thing) hence why I'm not more pissed about my own hair.

This pains me, but I chose to write this review over the pitiful offer of compensation for my troubles (which I chose not to receive). I check in and everything looks decent. There has been a recent renovation, but they didn't remove all of the old residents in the process. I throw my bags on the bed and go the the rest room. Things did get better, but still there was something missed or forgotten every day of the stay. In addition I visited the fitness center, where the televisions wouldn't work. You know how it is. Everything can't be perfect all the time, but there is a higher level of expectation with a Wyndham which this hotel definitely doesn't meet. I moved to another hotel for the extension to my stay and am much more comfortable knowing I probably won't have roaches to share my room with.

I stay here for work quite a bit. When it was the crowne plaza it was very good. The people are friendly, but my room smelled like farts, the food quality has gone down hill since swapping to the wyndham. Ordered room service breakfast and they argued with me over what was included. I had to read it back to them several times, word for word. It seems that since it has swapped from the crowne plaza that a lot of short cuts are being made.

I read some of the other negative comments before I stayed here, and so I was a little more critical. The place was BEAUTIFUL. The rooms were clean, and the view was beautiful from my room. No, there isn't a refrigerator in the room or a microwave, but it IS a hotel room, not a motel room.
