The Lovestruck Event this year was a great success. The staff at The Elegante was tremendous… not only caring for the patrons but also taking care of each of us that had a booth! Anita, on your host staff, went above and beyond to make sure everyone's needs were cared for. She had a smile on her face and was a very important part of the weekends success! She deserves kudos! ❤

Terrible experience all the way around! Treated us poorly and made up all rules they could find during our stay. One of the coaches had a condom wrapper and underwear in their room that there 6 year old found. Just a gross and terrible experience and will never come back.

The renovation of the hotel is amazing! rooms are beautiful. My room is huge, with beautiful granite counter tops, beautiful bathroom, VERY comfortable beds and the food was fantastic!

We came to spend a couple of nights so we could bring our grandchildren swimming. The most awesome experience we've ever had. The pool was excellent and the staff was more than helpful and polite. We loved the suite and everything was clean and nice. We will be back. Overall a terrific stay.

Initially walking in, the place is super nice. It was clean, well lit, and really fancy. The event I attended was on the second floor so I didn't see a lot of the hotel, but it was really nice.

I absolutely love this place. I have stayed here about 9 times over the last 4 months. I have been to the spa which was great. I always eat at the restaurant. The Sunday brunch is divine. The pool is a great place to play with your kids or read a book. I have truly enjoyed my stays here. Bonnie is so genuine and caring. Anita at the pool is so friendly and always has a positive attitude. I always feel like I get treated so well here. Thanks for having staff that has a passion to serve others.

Hotel is clean, comfortable and has a great atmosphere. We stayed here five nights last week and would definitely recommend booking a room here. We came here with many other Lamar University students for residency classes. We had great interactions with many of the folks who work at the hotel. Id like to spot light a few great employees who made our stay memorable. Ben and Bart from the bar, Anita the pool girl, and especially Lee and Patrick from maintenance who were our Lamar Pool Party host on Saturday night. By the way, the food in the restaurant was really good! Thanks again for the positive experience!

I attended a meeting at this hotel. The meeting room was large enough for the amount of people, the hotel took care of coffee, drinks and snacks. We were not disrupted by any other guest and the lunch provided by the hotel was delicious. The chairs were comfortable for having to sit for seven hours. Over all this venue would be a great place for a presentation each time I come.

We had our daughters wedding reception and through the planning stages, everyone I worked with were very professional and accommodating, Lea especially. We did have a minor glitch in the wedding menu, but it was rectified quickly and post wedding I received several calls and a generous comp without having to ask for it … that is good Customer service. I also stayed over one night and have to say the room was very nice and comfy. I did not find it to have any odor … the pool area was fantastic! I don’t know her name but hats off to the pool attendant! Wow! Great pool service! I also found all the hotel personnel we encountered very pleasant! We also enjoyed the Tradewinds Bar! Will definitely be back! Thank you to the entire Elegante Team.

I've come here a few times to sit at the pool. The lady at the pool is SUPER AMAZING! she always smiles, shes always helpful, shes super attentive to the guests and the pool itself. I apologize I forgot her name but if you want a super amazing experience she will be there to help. She's an older lady who knows her stuff!

I stayed here for a company Christmas party. I enjoyed my stay, the room was nice, clean and orderly. The hotel offered us drink tickets for coffee or alcohol. (Not sure if that is for the company or the hotel stay). On the first floor there are two restaurants and a bar to choose from if you do not want to go out and grab a bite to eat you can go to the first floor and grab something. In the back rooms on the first floor the rooms can be rented out for a party. (Where the company party was held). The outside and inside looks a bit on the old side, but I enjoyed my time here.

Hotel it outdated and needs to be upgraded. Got on the elevator and it smelled like cigerette smoke. I pay very close attention to detail. Lots of accumulated dust. Old carpet and outdated furniture. Restrooms are very small. My husband is 6'5 and when he gets in the shower his head was nearly touching the ceiling. The landscaping was not very well kept at all. The hotel name "Elegante" does not fit the hotel or the room accommodations. I've traveled a lot and my expectations of a hotel room in Texas was not met at all. Reminded me of the time I went to Louisiana for work and stayed in a horrible hotel.

Loved the rooms, although the only issue I had with 5he 2 rooms we had was that the air conditioner took forever to cool the room down. My suggestion would be to possibly turn the ac units on earlier in the day so that the new guest can have a cool room to come into upon arrival.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at MCM Elegante for my graduation weekend. The highlight of our time here was by far the exceptional service and friendliness of the cabana girl, Anita! She treated our entire party exceptionally and truly makes one’s time at the pool memorable. Customer service at its best! Thank you Anita!

The food is pretty good here and the on site tavern is really enjoyable. They have live music at times and it's a pretty relaxing environment. Also has an outdoor area to sit.

Everything is great, beautiful park with a fountain at the hotel.

An older hotel but very well kept and nice. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Over priced breakfast was the only down side.

Hotel room and bath was dated and dirty. Beds were old and uncomfortable. Easy access off I10 and 69 but pretty sure there are better options.

We stayed at a different hotel acrossed the street but we went to this hotel for drinks and to shoot pool. This hotel has a lot going on. It looks like they are remodeling possibly from hurricane damage, or maybe for age but the hotel interior looked amazing. There is a restaurant and a bar and a deli that serves Starbucks coffee. I didnt have a room here but from what I could see this hotel was an all in one stop for anyone traveling. If I had stayed I would have enjoyed it.

Nice hotel. We pulled in really late the lady gave us a very small deal. Then we has to switch rooms because the door was locked to the first room she gave us. When we did get into the room I had to put the TV together to make it work. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. Would have liked to look around more as they have a bunch of extra things to do.

I've eaten there twice this week. Once for an awards dinner and once for lunch. The food was excellent! We cut the steak with a butter knife it was so tender. For lunch I had the shrimp and crab tots. Novel appetizer handmade with a cornbread base. They are currently remodeling the hotel with new carpet, furniture, bedding and more. They are almost complete.

My husband was set up at this hotel for work and they always book nice hotels and rooms… Imagine his surprise when he steps onto his floor and starts walking down a hallway with ripped up carpet, then enters his room to find his walls cut up, dirty sheets and bed, a huge spider on the floor, and the room smells like mold… We have pictures to prove it… He checked out immediately. Side note: I understand the trauma from hurricane harvey, but if you are selling yourself as a 4 star hotel, then make the guests aware of renovations. Don't let them walk into a room that's torn apart when they expect a quality room… Or at least shut down the hotel until at half of it is healthfully renovated, then open up the good half… But in all honesty the torn up room wasn't the worst part… Insects in the room? The smell of mold (hazardous to health) and dirty sheets? How can you try to pass as quality?

Poor maid service. They don't clean the room. You ask for sheets to be changed. They turn the sheets inside out. They never heard of a toilet brush and never wipe down sink area. Hair all over sink at check in. I had to buy my own cleaning supplies just so I acn have a clean room.

We stayed here during a baseball tournament. They neglected to inform us that there would be at least 3 different corporate Christmas parties happening on the same night. There was no parking for paid guests of the hotel, so we ended up parked in front of a dumpster next to the street. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they said the parties would be ending any minute and we’d be able to move our car closer. It was 7:00 and most of the parties had just started. There is extensive damage from Hurricane Harvey, yet they still charge more per night than they did before the hurricane. Our toilet overflowed after one flush, one wall of the room still has the sheetrock pulled off and the carpet pulled back. The spa is not open (due to repairs being made which is understandable). We paid $60 more than we would’ve paid anywhere else in Beaumont, and I was highly dissatisfied.

Good hotel but the rooms need repairing. It was kinda weird that the window wall lower half of it has sheetrock broken down and you see the pipes and electrical wires. Pool area is really nice. Food at the cafeteria and breakfast very good.

The banquet room was nice and big. The hall was well lit for pictures and socializing. The tables were set up nice plenty of room to move around. Service was good. Plates were served prompt and picked up almost immediately once you were finished. They are under going some repairs from the storm but nothing bad at all.

I'm not sure how this place gets such high ratings. The rooms are very outdated and poorly cleaned. We switched rooms 3 times during our last stay. Never even unpacked… the first room looked like no one had stayed there for a while or it just never gets dusted, even my 10 yr. Old commented how dirty the room appeared. They moved us to a second room with no problem but that room had clearly been used by someone who smoked in a no-smoking room. Housekeeping should have picked up on the strong scent of cigarette in the room. The sweet concierge was nice enough to move us once more to an acceptable room. The buffet is expensive, but has good food. They usually give a voucher to baseball players if you're staying for tournaments, which is the only reason we stay here. The pool area is nicely renovated.

Even after being affected by Hurricane Harvey they are making every effort to make the hotel presentable. My only complaint is the lack of good customer service from the Hemingway cafe staff during breakfast. Other than that even with a room that needs repair I'm pleased with the hotel.

The elegant hotel is in a great location right by lots good restaurants. The service is awesome. I would definitely stay there.

I was there for an informative meeting about our insurance for retired teachers. The room provided for the meeting for comfortable. Multiple screens were set up so that we could see the presenters.

I checked the reviews for this hotel before I got there. The reviews were mixed. Some gave very bad reviews and others gave excellent reviews. Once I arrived at the hotel I spotted some guests who were checking out. I inquired about their experience and they gave a middle of the road review in comparison to the reviews I had already seen. Upon walking into the lobby, I saw evidence of renovation — there was bare floor and some walls were cut out from the floor to approximately two feet up. When I inquired, I was told that Hurricane Harvey had caused flooding and there was leaking due to water pipes bursting after the city turned the water back on. The spa and the concierge lounge on the 8th floor were closed due to the damage from the storm. The corridors leading to the rooms were hot and humid. The room itself was not hot — the air conditioning worked pretty good. There were mirrored closet doors in the room. The bathroom was very small. Overall, the room needed to be updated. The furniture was outdated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was not enough lighting. There were dark spaces in the room. There was a chair with an ottoman and a lamp in the corner, but the lamp could not be plugged up as the was had been cut out and covered by plastic. I could clearly hear the people in the next room. The restaurant was outdated. The tables and chairs were old. The breakfast was a buffet with choices that were the same every day.

The hotel was nice and clean, but not a fair time to stay there. Currently under renovation from Harvey. Mostly cosmetic issues right now. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very upset with service. Rehearsal dinner was poorly served, meals delivered to different tables taking over 15 minutes to serve one table. Drink refills were nearly non existent, I ended up refilling drinks at my table. Food was okay, but not worth the price. Strong armed into paying for room for rehearsal dinner, because if we didn't we did not have access to wedding area until noon on the day of the wedding which wouldn't allow for set up. Room keys continually quit opening room doors and had to trek back to service counter to have card reprogrammed. Elevator began to work very slowly taking almost two minutes to open and close doors then not go to designated floor. Because of this the other elevator would not report to ground floor. So you had to walk to the second floor to call the other elevator to go to your room. Bathrooms in common areas were not stocked appropriately. Overall, service was lacking significantly. Would not recommend this as a wedding venue for any one.

We are staying at the MCM Elegante due to Hurricane Harvey. We were switched from an ExxonMobil room to a room being paid by Allstate. Our new room has mold covering the ceiling. We brought this to the attention of the front desk. They had maintenance spray X14 and then housekeeping come in. It's 10:30 pm now and the odor has awful bleach chemical smell. I can still see mold. I was told there is no available rooms. And now I don't know what I'm going to do.

While making a delivery for a local business, I was treated nicely by the staff. They directed me to the right room. Hotel is clean and well maintained.

Came to visit friends at the pool. We had a cabana, which was very nice but probably not needed because there is plenty of nice seating and not crowded, though the shad and privacy were nice. Service was awesome total southern hospitality!

Outstanding! Got a jacuzzi suite with the sweetheart package. So romantic. Quiet, private & relaxing. Excellent staff. Everyone is friendly & helpful. Rooms are lovely. Pics added in the main photos. You don't know what you are missing!

Nice location next to I-10, and spacious well-decorated rooms with nice clean bathrooms. However, for a hotel this size, there were only 2 elevators, one of which was broken. Since there were several large groups of guests staying at the hotel last weekend, the lone elevator was constantly over-full and very slow in arriving at each floor. For me this was a deal-breaker, since we were staying on the 8th floor, and could not easily run up or down the stairs to our room. Coffee quality and service in the Starbucks branded coffee shop in the lobby was sub-par as well. If not for these 2 factors, I would have given this property 4 to 4.5 stars.

Great place. Front desk staff are great! Sunday brunch and breakfast buffet are outstanding. All employees are friendly and very helpful. My go to place whenever in Beaumont. Pool area is top notch!

Went there for a Father daughter's day event for Father's Day weekend. The ball room was excellent along with the services provided by the hotel.

I recently attended an event at the MCM Hotel. The place was beautiful and very clean. The staff were very attentive. I didn't care for the food they served but I enjoyed the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with a friendly staff and great amenities. I was disappointed in the restaurant menu but the bartender was very friendly and personable. I would stay here any time I was Beaumont.

I am as we speak currently here for a dental conference. We were suppose to be served dinner and dessert. But omg it's nasty can't tell if this is chicken or fish everything is cold. Plus dessert has freezer burn yuck. This place is too pretty to serve this gross food.

Seems outdated. The pool is very nice. The Wi-Fi is fine for a hotel of that size. The breakfast is good but is also expensive as is usual with hotels. The rooms aren't as big as you'd like but they were serviceable for three people. Overall a good experience.

We were there for Easter Buffet. While the items available were tasty, the variety of sides was very limited, which was disappointing. You would think that mashed potatoes would be a given at a buffet, but there were none. My daughter doesn't eat cheese and the only potato available was au grautin. The staff was a bit snippy. The tables were crowded together. It was not handicap accessible due to the overcrowding.

Lovely hotel, with large, clean rooms and friendly staff. Good food at the restaurant, a nice bar, and the spa tucked away in a corner of the lobby is a nice bonus. Highly recommended if you're in town.

Fantastic as always. Room was big enough for annual meeting that I attended, as usual. Service was top notch. Terrific!

Very nice room but there hidden fees upon check-in, so please beware. They charged my card without authorization & stated they would hold my funds for several days after check-out… No one goes somewhere expecting to be pick pocketed in their sleep, ha. Not a good way to say "y'all come back there now! "

Nice penthouse suite with private jacuzzi. Nice view of Beaumont overlooking. Enjoyed the two televisions and seating arrangements. Comfortable bed, excessive pillows. Extremely small bathroom…

The staff at the MCM Elegante Hotel was very accommodating, ensuring that any and all questions asked were answered. The location is just off the highway and very visible. The areas of the lobby and halls leading to the event room were pristine and the restrooms immaculate. The service provided by the staff was excellent. The waitstaff was very attentive, making sure that glasses were filled and plates were cleared in a timely fashion.

Interesting hotel. Rooms were clean and nice but the restaurant and bar is top notch. Really neat atmosphere here.

I stayed at the hotel while attending a CWI class held in the diplomat room. Since my wife was with me, we opted for a larger corner room (520). Besides being a little outdated, the room was nice. The only issue we had during our stay was with staff entering the room without knocking. The first time was to replace the coffee machine, and the second time was to ensure our rolling office chair didn't need to be replaced. What we weren't told was the hot breakfast wasn't included, and was only served when occupancy was above 20%.

Shame on you for the killing of these birds. How cruel can you get? I would never stay at your hotel and I'm sure many more with compassion for all life will feel the same about this.

I just saw the footage of the nestlings that were killed by the contractor you hired to trim a tree on your property. There was no need for that.
