This was a very nice relaxing hotel and had a fun time. The room service was really good and helpful! Ruben and Edgar was really helpful and polite and enjoyed their vibes!

We have been staying her for a couple of days and Ruben has been helping us so much. The cleaning staff is so accommodating and nice. We definitely will stay again. The pricing, room space and cleanliness is perfect. If u need a place to stay definitely look them up. Thanks for the amazing customer service and all the help.

It's one of the worst places on top of that we had a run in with the owners son. He kept spying on our little girls in the pool. We even had to call the police. It's the worst experience ever. Never again.

Dirty room floors and fridge was so dirty also the pool too.! never again!

The staff was very accomodating to get us checked in quickly after a 20 hour drive and much needed sleep. Being total strangers to us, they also sent us flowers for my Father who is at the end of his life. Awesome gesture! Thank you so much!

Even though we had a hiccup with Yolanda the housekeeper not cleaning my room, Rigo and the hotel staff did everything in their power to make my 3 night stay a happy one and I definitely recommend this hotel. For the low price you get continental breakfast which includes hot eggs, sausage, and pumpkin spice waffles. Amazing A/C, very comfortable beds that rival any other hotel plus fitness and laundry room. Try it out for a night and you'll want to come back.

We enjoy our stay in Weslaco! Great staff and very welcoming. We had a very accessible room by the pool which my kids loved! Close to everything.

Rooms are nice and bed is comfortable. Air conditioner wasn't cooling until my husband cleaned out the vents which were very filthy. Breakfast was good as well as the hospitality.

I really like how it looks. The pool, the rooms and the view. I also like that in the mornings you get to eat breakfast :)

The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions breakfast was delicious but no decaf coffee at the time I went for breakfast. Rooms were nice and clean.

It was a one night stay but it was a good stay. At first the room was extremely HOT even when it was left at 60 degrees for about two hours before we got there. We ended up running around for a few hrs before we actually got to settle in then it got really cold. The room smelled a lil funky but I guess it's cus no one else had stayed in it for a while before us. Fridge took hours before it got cold. The only thing I didn't like was the LOUD ruckus coming from the restroom exhaust fan. Other then that everything was good! I would stay again. There if I had a chance to.

Had a great stay at this Super 8. Was returning from a weekend beach camp at South Padre and was honestly just looking for a hot shower and a soft bed. Chose this hotel due to its location right off the highway and was glad I did so. Easy check-in, cold room from the second we walked in, nice shower with plenty of hot water, and a super comfortable bed. But one of the best things for me was the breakfast. Had fluffy eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and banana nut waffles. Loved it. If you're ever around Weslaco and need a great place to stay for the night, then I definitely recommend this Super 8.

Pool and Jacuzzi FILTHY. Couldn't see bottom. Gnats in ice machine and in room sink areas. Mini fridge didn't even keep cool. Also, the pool closed at 10 but there was apparently a loud party going on after hours. When I FINALLY called the front desk asking about pool hours at 1045pm, I was told that they were accommodating a late check in which wanted to use the pool. I asked if that was more important than the other customers trying to get sleep and was told that they would get them out by 11. The pool was in the courtyard in the middle of the rooms so hard to ignore the noise.

It was very nice to stay the weekend. Free breakfast in the morning and the pool was very clean. The workout room had some equipment but more then enough.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at this facility on two separate occasions. On both occasions I was very pleased. Rigo the guy at the front desk is always courteous, and has provided the best customer service. The rooms are always clean with clean towels, and the best part is waffles for breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel and will be returning in the best future.

The charged my card twice the air conditioner barley works and they need to replace pillows this hotel needs to update will not stay in another super 8

Great hotel for the price! The staff was very nice and the room was very clean. The mattress was comfortable, nothing fancy, but comfortable. The towels were surprisingly fluffy for a Super 8. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you need to stay for a night or a few nights. The pool looked very nice, but the hot tub looked like it could possibly need some cleaning. Overall, great hotel for the price!

We stay here every time we are in the valley and are always pleased with our room. We have stayed at other motels but this is the best for our money.

I visited the Super 8 Hotel in Weslaco, Texas for spring break this week. I had great customer service! Rigo at the front desk was very courteous, polite and just over all, made our hotel stay a great experience! Room 114 smelled like you are inside a Raid aerosol can. Adjacent room guests were loud. Bed smelled of bad body odor. Ran out of coffee next morning during breakfast with only 4 guests.

My husband and I have stayed here about 5 times. We will never go to another hotel when visiting family. The staff is uber nice and it is so conveniently located. The upgrades are pretty nice!

Excellent option to rest, modern and economical, despite the location, moving around is fast by the highway on foot of the hotel.

It's okay if you just come from shopping to McAllen. It's relatively central.

A clean hotel, friendly staff, spacious bedrooms, bathroom with tub, free wi fii, a very small area with a computer as a business center, breakfast is very simple as cereal, bread box, milk, coffee and some fruit.

Everything about the stay went smooth. My only concern is that the rooms could be cserviced5with a bit more attention. Our room had cobwebs in every corner.

First if you stay at a inexpensive motel it not going to be a 5 star hotel people. That being said I was happy with my two rooms. The rooms was clean and the air-conditioning worked really good and there was no bed bugs. The Wi-Fi here is awesome. Peak speed when I got here around 2 am was 83Mb down and 10Mb up. Most places have really bad Wi-Fi speeds. Wifi did slow down at peak times but was still usable and that was with the motel max out with large family's for hurricane Harvey. Room had a microwave, small refrigerator and coffee maker, iron and board. Breakfast was included and had the following waffles, juice, milk, coffee, Dry cereal, Instant oatmeal packs, apples, cookies, Yogurt, toast and some kind of pastry. The employees was super nice and very helpful. We decided to stay a extra day because of the hurricane and they gave me the Travelocity discount price of 70 bucks a nite again. I would definitely stay here again. Will post some pictures.

It is a nice hotel, It was near full capacity. The room was not very clean and The bathroom had a funny smell, the pool opens at 11am.

It is a great location I like it a lot. Room service is fantastic and my room was really nice and neat.

For the cheap price I paid? This place is amazing! Big king size room with roll away bed, fridge, couple bottle of water, microwave, flat screen TV, Lots of channels, ironing board, soap, lots of towels, coffee with coffee maker, swimming pool, whirlpool, and a nice welcome card. This is a good place. I stayed just two nights and it's comfortable. I was gonna pay more than twice for another hotel, and I change my mind and I'm glad I did. I will come back in October and I will stay here again.

The hotel is a bit old and needs some repairs, overall it all works well and is practical, good price and location.

If I could give less that 1 star I would. This was a horrible experience. I was there with 2 other old women — all over 70. First of all, the toilet was stopped up when we arrived. It was after 10 so my friend went to the desk for plunger. Then the toilet wouldn't stop running. My other friend fixed that — about 3 times that night. The next night water wouldn't run into the tank of the toilet. When my friend tried to fix it the top of the tank fell and broke in two. Plus when we got the ironing board down it fell apart. And to top things off the owner phoned us while we were making the 10 hour drive back home and insisted we pay $50 for the damage we did. I will never stay there again. There are too many alternatives to have to put up with that.

The people who work there we're very nice and gave me a towel to take a shower with and when we got to my room everything was nice and neat ready for me the beds we're made and the restroom was clean and the next day they had food for me in the morning witch was delicious and after breakfast I left.

When I reserved my room, I was expecting some run down hotel that really wasn't great but that would serve the purpose of my visit, however, this hotel is in incredibly great shape and is also gorgeous in every aspect. Marble bathroom counters, roomy bathrooms, plenty of space in the rooms. My only negative was that there was no cable.

The Hotel was located near the stores and places of interest. The service was good and they friendly attended all our request. It has breakfast included and they have all you need to feel at home: microoven, mini-fridge etc.

One of my rooms smelled like roach spray had a headache. Pool water was green staff said it was going to be replaced the next day and said it is safe that pool guy had checked it out already… Will not stay here again.

I am very pleased with the rooms and the staff. I stayed one night and then returned to stay another. I think the water issues are due to everyone taking a shower in the morning.

Lots of mosquitoes no fridge or microwave no towels breakfast is good though.

I read the review by Sybill and thought to give this Hotel a try. It was decent but the carpet was really dirty and the water pressure was really low. It also took a long time for the water to heat up. Shaving with cold water is horrible. I was at my in laws house most of the time or else I would have asked for another room.
