Pros: -Cute ascetic in a mod 60s vintage way. -Had a room on short notice (read, two weeks in advance) of 4 July 15. -Really nice boardwalk leading directly to the beach. Cons: many. -Pool smells and looks like people, many people, pissed in it. That's because they likely have. Pool constantly overrun by breeders with their shrieky offspring. I don't know what I expected. :/ -Paper thin walls. I could hear every jackoff stomping up and down the hall, and the teens next door had people coming and going all night, pounding on the door as loud as possible because the wasted hosts hosting them were too high to ever answer the damn door. I had to poke my head out multiple times to see what the issue was /this time/ and at one point, one frazzled guest was actually on the phone with said patron, threatening to call the cops because he wouldn't open the door. She apologized profusely. I feel ya sister. Also for some reason they were moving furniture around, a lot, and I don't want to contemplate why too hard. -Lingering scent of pot. Look we've all been there, we all had out wild days. But c'mon security, you gotta nip that in the bud. Breeders take their offspring here. I'm a US Soldier and my hubbs works offshore. We both get regularly drug tested. I don't even want to be exposed to that stuff. -Oh, a transformer in the hotel went out; that was fun (not). Half the hotel (and it was a sporatic half that varied depending upon the floor) had power while the other half did not. A few sad rooms in the middle, like mine and Neighbor McLouddrunk had half services — our TV worked but our AC and bathroom power was out; theirs was the opposite. Most guests finally had to throw our balcony doors open because the outdoors was cooler than inside the room. In July. Near the equator. -The on demand was all the free crap and there was no pay-per-view, and the bed, while comfy, made farting noises when climbing on it. Normally these would be papercut sized complaints but in the face of the much much bigger ones they were simply insults to injuries.
