Hotel was decent as far as condition and cleanliness. However, be prepared to pay for everything including the chairs and umbrella to use on the hotel's beach (about 30 dollars/day). The first day we arrived we had a maid walk into our room within five minutes of being there (around 5:30pm). You also have to pay for the cue ball at the hotel bar and give and ID. The bartender did not give the ID back and he stated they didn't have it, although they had a stack of ID's at the bar when asked to look. After 4 hours and many phone calls back and forth between bartenders and accountants at the hotel the ID magically appeared at the front desk where it had been searched for 3 times already. I guess the logical thing about calling the guest that is staying at the hotel under the name on the ID and let him know he left it at the bar wasn't thought of. Instead it was moved about the hotel by 3 people before "found". (We'll have to watch our accounts to see what activity comes up. ) We stayed five nights, the fourth night we went to dinner after lounging the hotel for the majority of the day. Coming back for dinner we went to use our key cards and they wouldn't work. After verifying who we were and the assistance of maintenance verifying who we were twice, we learned we had been checked out randomly. The hot tub is making interesting noises. An older guest had stuck a piece of celery in one of the intake holes to quiet it down. That celery sat there for the first three days during our stay. Needless to say we weren't that impressed. It is a pet friendly hotel, however, you can hear people walking in the hallways very easily, so a dog barking all morning and night is very unpleasant. We did not complain, but other guests did about dogs staying there because of the constant barking of the unsettled dogs. They were there for all five days we were there. After filling out a survey for the hotel shortly after leaving with this same information about our stay, we have yet to have anyone contact us with concerns.
