Beautiful room in the large condo great view over looking the pool and beach. Great cleaning service with a lot of extra towels daily, we accidentally left personnel items out in our room and nothing was touched. Did not have much interaction with other employees we didn’t have any problems and spent most days at pool or beach. The restaurant and beach shack were very expensive for what they offer otherwise awesome stay!

The hotel does need some updates and I see they are working on it, which is great! The staff was friendly and inviting. My family over all had a great experience!

Under construction on views are not great Low water pressure of the furniture is old looking. Not worth the money at all.

Stayed one night IN ROOM 507 and woke up with +/ — 20 BEDBUG bites on my back, shoulder, arms, and hands. I've never had these before so I VERIFIED WITH DR.

Management was indifferent at best. If an infestation is fairly new, it is very difficult to find evidence on the bedding or furniture but they claim they need that to address it IN ANY WAY.

We had to pack our belongings in plastic trash bags and treat them at a laundromat before taking them back home. That is a lot to ask a paying customer. We won't be back.

I had an emergency and tried to call this resort more than 30 times before they answered. When they did answer the front manager was absolutely rude. I would not recommend you waste you money at this establishment. They will take your $ and offer terrible service.

We arrived entered the lobby clean and the air was nice & cool for S Texas the staff very considerate of our needs. It was a Thursday so the evening entertainment was getting started got to see great comedians & the band was jamming. Oldies but Goodies 🎶access to the private beach is on point In all the grounds were very clean and green grass was sooo soft on my bare feet. We are coming back really soon! Can’t wait!

We have stayed in the older part of the hotel. The room is nice especially considering it was built in 1959. Staff is helpful and friendly. This has been a pleasant stay.

I have been coming here awhile and regretfully the service, staff, facilities are going downhill. Strongly regret my decision to return. First, the staff. Untrained. They do not understand that guests pay hundreds of dollars for service so if they have an issue — be polite, resolve the problem. They are defensive, amateurish, rude, immature, and frankly just untrained. Management — AWOL. The place is on autopilot with an absentee landlord. Absolutely clueless in terms of professional hotel standards. From what I have seen, this spans housekeeping to client-facing front desk communications. I stay in hotels around the world and would fire the lot; hire people who know what they are doing or train the bunch that are there now. They work for the guest/client, not vice-versa.

Didnt stay at resort, live here on the island so just went and ate lunch. We both had the tuna stuffed tomato. With fruit. Delicious and fresh! Martin is the bomb and takes good care of ya!

Bang for your buck! Negative. I've stayed at the Holiday Inn and have slept like a baby. Neighbors had yelping dogs, beds were full size (not queens), no microwaves, but at least the cleaning staff and security were awesome. Besides that, never again.

The location to Houston is great. We are beach front with a short walk to the beach. The condo is spacious enough for 6 people with a complete kitchen. Beautiful views. Could make this a regular get away spot!

If you’re expecting a high level resort you’ll be disappointed but for the price, view & beach access it’s perfect. The staff is nice but only if you ever get their attention. I couldn’t get through to the front desk many times. The pool bartender is friendly & easy to talk to. Just think 1983 and you’ll feel like your in THE prime spot. I do like the place but like I said, just for the location, view & beach access.

My family and I were there 2 weeks ago. We had a 2 bedroom condo. Our experience was great. They were friendly and the place was clean. The condo was very clean & updated with nice tile and we had 2 ocean view balcones. Will definitely stay here next time we are in South Padre Island. Also, the resort restaurant, Windjammers, was good.

Super cozy and amazing food! I loved that I could walk from the resort to the beach directly. All the staff were polite and attentive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for 5 days enjoying every moment. Great staff, everything well maintained, and great location!
I would recommend for anyone to get either a pool view or beach view for obvious reasons.
If to complain about any part of our experience it would be a petty complaint of the pool water being too warm.

We have stayed at Isla Grand two times-and booked a 3rd trip recently! We love it! The pool and grounds are very well-maintained! The staff is very helpful and friendly! We can walk to the beach and had a great view of the beach from our room (which we requested)! We have stayed at 2 other hotels in S. Padre in the past and feel we have found our home at Isla Grand! I have nothing negative to stay about this hotel! I highly recommend it!

Had drink and a dessert here. The drink was alright, well done I would say. The dessert was a brownie with ice cream. The ice cream had freezer burn and the brownie was not warm; obviously baked long ago. Possibly even store bought. Would not recommend.

We visited the Isla Grand while on vacation, we were there to hear live music at their indoor club The Quarterdeck. But we also took a walk along the huge pool in the hotel, beautiful… the blue lights glowing from under the water are mesmerizing and 2 outdoor pool bars to boot! Palm trees swaying and the dark undertones fit right in to this tropical haven, a must see at night for those who come to the club. Next time south padre, we’re staying here!

The front desk staff were friendly and informative. Once we stepped onto the resort we noticed it was clean and maintained. However one we got to our cabana we noticed the room needed some upgrades (bedding, furniture). Also, the wooden stairs need to be replaced. When we booked the room, we were offered either an ocean view or pool view. We paid the extra money for the ocean view. When we got to the room, we had a view of the tennis courts. The only rooms that have a true view of the ocean are the condos or the two buildings at the very end of the resort. I feel I should get the money I paid for the 'ocean view' back but I know that wont happen. If you are booking an ocean view cabana be sure to call the front desk and inquire where the room is at. Not true to what they are advertising.

This was our 4th visit in 4 years. We love the view and the double pool. Out of the 4 visits this was by far one of the worse. Like I said great view and atmosphere. I had quite a few issues with the room. The first day the maintenance guy fixed the first problem. Well the last three things we found they never came and address them or tried to fix. When I went back to talk to the front desk it was the same woman and same attitude. I hate being negative because we do love the other stuff about this hotel. I guess I just wasnt demanding enough to get the stuff fixed because I was on vacation. Nothing to do with the TV either. Thank you.

I think this property may be the best hotel on the island for the money. I will agree that the rooms are outdated and the beds are small, but how long will you actually be in the room itself? There is a massive pool with nice tropical scenery, three pool/beach bars, live music, a club/bar, and direct beach access. It is an overall very fun atmosphere. The on site restaurant is either super-amazing or lackluster. I am not sure why it fluctuates… They also have a sonny's kiosk at the end of the boardwalk to reserve beach furniture or thrill activities.

We didn't stay in the hotel. We just ate at the burger shack, looked at the pool, and hit the beach. It wasn't popping on the Thursday afternoon we were there, but they had incredibly sweet umbrellas, lots of seating, direct beach access, and outdoor showers. Just a really great resort. No complaints. The guy at the burger shack was AWESOME. Very helpful.

I see negative comments on this hotel, but I'm here to enjoy life and relax. If you hear loud music and people having fun by the pool, then maybe you should join them instead of being a debbie downer. People work to hard and want to get away from everyday life for a couple of days. Awesome time here as always… The room was great, the beds comfy, and AC cold and for a review on the TV, I don't know. I was busy enjoying the beach, the pool, and outside entertainment. I'm not here to watch TV, I can do that at home.

Get a receipt for everything! Take plenty of cash. Their outdated website made reservations frustrating at best. Their antiquated computer system made check-in impossible. A/C barely works after room change when there was no A/C at all. All amenities need upgrade. For the value, way overpriced.

Fun place on SPI to have dinner, drinks, hear live music on the patio and dance at the club. You don't have to be staying at the hotel to enjoy these amenities. The night club seems to always have a good mix of people (meaning it's not just for the young ones :) and the live cover bands Isla Grand hires are typically excellent.

Worst “resort” i’ve ever been. There’s nothing to help find your way. I felt like I was staying at a motel 8!
The website says that there’s world class entertainment and food. I’ve had better at mcdonald’s. There’s absolutely nothing that is even mere par when it comes to this place being called a “resort”.

I always have a goo time best place to stay love the service good stuff love the bar open late same as pools highly recommended.

Close to the beach. Pool access. No problems but would have liked a microwave in the room.

I really enjoyed staying there rather than having a good time hitting the bars and then that long drive home. Lovely pools that are open late, nice and warm around and relax your old bones … the beach is just a few steps away.

I love the atmosphere inside and out. The whole area is beautiful. I love getting a drink at the outside bar. Look forward to seeing the two cats that are friendly and loving.

OMG this place is so beautiful here. The rooms are nice and the view from the 11th floor as you can see is georgous! Water was perfect even though I it was windy! I'm from Az and this was an awesome experience! I only give it 4 be stars because on Saturday night we went down to the pool and asked for towels and they said they had no more and they were drying and would take 40 mins. Than we went back to the pool Sunday morning and asked for towels and they were out of them again. Very inconvenient.

The service at the front desk was lousy, I thought for the quality of hotel we were going to have good services but it wasn't.
For the deal I would not recommend it at all the worst Hotel I have visited in SPI.

Great place with everything you need in one spot. Coffee shop, gift shop, restaurants, bars, hammocks, pool, jacuzzis and great views!

Breakfast. Eggs to order reminds me of all my 2 week summercamps… anyways… fun time. 5 fruits. Juices waffles pancakes. Even whipped cream. ☺ yum!

The hotel has a good location down the bridge, the restaurant has an excellent view of the pool and the sea The truth is very relaxing eating eat that panorama, the food is good, without being excellent, the employees are very attentive and friendly, Martin was my waiter and me in He sang that my wife had a craving for chilaquiles and even when it was not Mexican food day they were prepared which I thought was a great detail of the cook who made them and the waiter, who asked them.

We did not stay at the resort, but had drinks at their upstairs bar. Our waitress was attentive and very kind. We will definitely return again soon.

The hotel was beautiful. I went for a banquet and the hotel staff was very helpful. The higher floors have a beautiful view of the beach and the lit up terrace. I definitely recommend!

Very disappointed in the front desk reception. Jesse? He was in a very bad mood, we have stayed here 3 times before, and never had this happen. We tried to joke with him and in my opinion he should not be in customer service. I give Isla Grande 3 stars, it has beautiful views and the restaurant is very good, so should be more but need to pay more attention to detail. Our room was close to the entertainment which Clay Underwood was EXCEPTIONAL! No seats in room other than straight back chairs. Went to the room after Clay and the band was loud in our room until 2am. Mainly bass. Pillows horrible. No coffee pot of any kind in the room. The room we were in was pretty run down. We probably won't stay here again. Feel bad about that because we had some pretty great memories there.

2nd time we were there for the crab races 1st time we were very disappointed because of the price of the drinks during happy hour well last night was even worse decide to have a meal there were 4 of us all ordered at the same time and the meal all came at 4 different times we got there in time for the crab races and all tables were taken so we make the best of it they started at 6.15 and were over by 7.02 I think that had to be the first time ever we left by 7.10 and will never venture back the price of the meal did not bother us but again the price of the drinks are just out of this world for happy hour and I dont mind telling people about this. So the bottom line is okay food and weak drinks for 4 was over a time period off 1.45 mins $100.00

The beach is your neighbor, and it's always worth visiting. The hotel is pretty. Plenty of parking. Clay Underwood plays at the Quarterdeck during several months. He's wonderful to listen to, classic country. However, the audience is predominantly older (60+) and we usual find ourselves the youngest there at 31. We have stayed in the beach front rooms before. No coffee maker, but there's a coffee shop inside the hotel that opens early in the morning.

Clean room, beautiful view. The hotel faces the water and is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. My only wish was for coffee in the room. Everything else was wonderful.

Had a free night I expected to be a great place. Unfortunately it wasn't. They have a mixture of good people and not so good so having 3 stars is the reason some of them are really good but didn't make a difference.

They offer a fantastic salad bar! … At really reasonable prices!. They also have amazing breathtaking views!

Perfect place for Winter vacation. Staff is very friendly, rooms and grounds are clean. All are keeping up with the place. The swimming pools are clean and warm. This resort is next to the beach so walking in the beach is a must. Overall we had a great time…

One of the best resorts at the South Padre Island. It's also the headquarters for Spring Break every year bringing some of the hottest parties. This is a place that receives thousands of visitors from all the United States and Mexico. The service is excellent and their rooms clean. They have a pool which is perfect for partying.

My wife and I went on our honeymoon here in October 2 — October 6, 2017. Arrived at hotel at 5 pm. Was not greeted on arrival. We prepaid for beachfront access. We received our two cards and proceeded to our room. The room did not have a microwave or silverware. October 3, woke up to see my car was attempted to be broken into at the resort. Informed front desk and proceeded to call police. Security guard and assistant manager arrived. Was told by security the general manager would call me Thursday or Friday (October 5-6). Never received a phone call. Later that night called room service to get silverware for cheesecake bought at Gabriellas (which is an excellent restaurant on the island). 4-5 rings on the phone and then a dial tone. The call was at 8:45 and room service closes at 9. (Which is quite early). Someone unplugged their phone at the restaurant. Went back to the restaurant personally and was told by assistant manager my room's phone wasn't working (which wasn't the case). Got silverware and headed off to sleep. Woke up ordering breakfast for room service. This time got an answer and waited about 35 minutes for an omelette and waffle. Received an omelette, waffle, coffee and apple juice with a receipt not rung up correctly. There was trash on the beach on Thursday. On the flip side it was 'beachfront'. The extra star I give is for the housekeeping. They did an amazing job making sure we got new pillows, towels, and clean floor in room.

Just arrived. People are nice. Service is great. Hotel is pretty dated. Can use some food renovation and refreshing.

The resort is great! The staff was great also! The best part was the pool! Its big and pretty clean and tge security guard was so nice and helpful! He keeps out tge people that don't belong there. Not sure his name but he was tall and kind of big! The grill. Has great burgers!

Pros — right on the beach. Easy to get to. Easy to get around the island. Lovely view. Nice pool with a bar in the pool area. Cons — overpriced for the room we received. A room on the beach with a single towel bar? No coffee maker in the room? Overpriced starbucks knockoff in the lobby. Bar area drinks are overpriced for the quality but you can bring your own so that's a plus.

Very elegant Lobby, very spacious and comfortable condominiums, fits up to 10 people if they are well accommodated. Rooms a little simple but acceptable, easy access to the beach and pools with Jacuzzi very nice.

We have been coming to this resort for over 10 years. Always a fun family vacation. Staff is great and food yummy. We have a blast at the swimming pool. I would rate the resort as a 4. We love it. It is not fancy, the only reason for the 4. Unfortunately my review has to be lower because of our experience in August of 2017. The beach was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT this year. Unfortunately, the young adults in our group were targeted by the litter patrol at the beach on our last day. We had all been down at the beach. There were parents, grandparents, adult children — college graduates, a toddler and young children playing games and swimming. Not long after the older adults left, the litter patrol walked over to the group of young adults and said they were being charged with littering. There were water bottles and cans that were in the sand where they were sitting and talking. They said they were sorry and picked them up. They took to the trash can, explaining that the trash cans were far away and that they always gather trash when leaving the beach and put it in the trash cans. One young man signed and took the ticket for all of them — a fine of &50.00-$2, 000.00. Couldn't tell them the exact fine. He has to call this week. The patrol said if the bottles or cans were on a towel they wouldn't have been ticketed. Again, they were not "away" from the cans. They were just sitting there. There were other people around with the same can and bottle placement.

Very good place, to have fun with family or friends. You'll definitely have a good go.

Find a different place! This place needs a total remodel most rooms (we saw 3) were dirty when you started to look sinks, ceiling, bathroom… the wine and cheese we ordered arrived with glasses that clearly hadn't been cleaned and had lip marks all over them? When we went to the restaurant for dinner we sat for 20 minutes and only got asked for our drink order no one ever stopped by to get anything further so we simply left. When we took our concerns to the staff they never got back with us they seriously couldn't care less! Now let's cover the beach, it's filthy crushed cans and pieces of glass all through the volleyball courts right up to the beach don't try to go barefoot you'll regret it. Seriously if you stay here you're making a mistake but you've been warned.

We went to have a couple of drinks during happy hour, along with appetizers. The server was very cool. He hooked us up with extra queso since there was a low queso to chip ratio. My wife liked the Margarita she had. They had live music on the patio and speakers where you could hear the band on the inside. We had a good time.

First time visit. I was very happy with resort, rooms great, pool great. Service great. My only concern is that non paying guest were able to sneak in and use pool area. Glad to see that Security was on top on their game. I left my boat in back of parking lot and security was on point. My suggestion is to band guest so it would be easier to identify who is guest. I will suggest this resort. Had very good memories. PS The pillows were super great. Thank you.

Stayed here last weekend and it was GREAT! The staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortables. We had a great View. The restaurant food it's not as good as I thought it will be, but the restaurant atmosphere and staff very phenomenal. Loved the live music. I will be staying here again in the future. I just loved everything about it.

The rooms are kind of dated. But not awful. Just blah! You will hear your neighbors doing what ever they are doing in there room. Nice view from the room. Nice beach, good food. Don't eat guacamole from here. The hot water situation can be entertaining. We had a crazy shower that would get hot right away or we had to wait 15 minutes for it to warm up. We stayed for 4 days, that made it entertaining. No coffee pot, but free coffee in the lobby. Bring your own beach towels. Quarterdeck lounge was entertaining. Fun cover bands. Drinks are well made and waitstaff can get overwhelmed, but do a good job. It's a very slightly above average resort.

I booked our room online and was given the option to pay later upon arrival at the hotel so I chose this option. The hotel apparently doesn't like how the pay later option is available and took it upon themselves to cancel my reservation. I recommended this hotel to my sister when 10 of them are traveling to South Padre. After telling them how I was treated… they have chosen to give their business for a week stay to another, more hospitable hotel.

It's a really nice hotel and yes the rules change for spring break week. You should try going another time when it's not so much attention to many people and a lot of things used to get damaged or stolen.

Customer Service, well, non-existent at this resort. No one was friendly or helpful. We had room service once in five days, and exchanged our towels for clean ones. When we checked out, the front desk representative stated we owed $40 for two towels. First, it was because they were "missing" then they stated the towels "were damaged and irreplaceable". They deducted the money from our deposit, was rude about the entire transaction, and then as we walked away, the Hispanic representative that we were dealing with called us "white bitches". The racist remark was unnecessary and completely uncalled for. I called to speak to a manager, was on hold 40 minutes, then disconnected. Called back, on hold 28 minutes then disconnected.

This place is not worth the money! I stayed here during spring break so I don't know if the rules change for just that week but I thought they were all BS! They just want to take your money! First of all, you can't check in to the hotel until 4PM & you have to be out by 10AM the next day! I payed $399 for a room & I can't even get a day to enjoy it! Why even bother unpacking if you're literally leaving in less time than it took you to drive up there! & the rooms are terribly ugly, I guess that's the look that they are going for bc they want it to be like a cabin but the sheets just look old old & the tables & everything in there is just old! The 2star hotel we sraid at on our drive up there was better than this place! Secondly, they charge for everything! They make up stuff that you need to have in order to be inside the hotel & then make you pay for it! For example, you need a wrist band to be inside the hotel, & you need to pay for that wristband, $20 per person. & what if you lose it? You pay $20 for another & another, like they don't have it in there system that you already payed for one! Or like if the 400+ that I payed for the room wasn't enough! ANOTHER thing: they give you a loooong list of things you need to check inside the room, like the bed, chair, desk, sheets, towels ect. You need to take that list back in a hour & let them know if something is wrong or missing or else you will be charged for it, uhhh isn't that supposed ro be their job?

I went to a social event such as the 12 of the nightly. It was a party in the pool.

Awesome experience. Would recommend going to this hotel. They offered a discount during the winter month. The staff was super friendly. The food was delicious, and heated pool was a plus! Would recommend anyone that wants to have a good time, go to this resort.

I was in Brownsville on business, so I did not get to enjoy the amenities such as he pool or the beach during the day, but overall I enjoyed my stay. My room was clean and comfortable and there isn't a better way to wind down from a long day at work than to sit on the patio overlooking the beach with a cold beer. This was my first time here, but I would definitely stay again.

My family and I stay at Isla Grande every year. But this year we decided to stay during the week to avoid the weekend rush. We decided to try the mexican buffet. It was so good so authentic mexican tasting that we all decided to eat from the buffet, the italian buffet was good also. The seafood buffet on friday was fantistic as well. Our favorite without a dooubt was the mexican buffet. Great hotel I will highly recommended to anyone!

The experience at this hotel was far above our expectations. We were in actuality supposed to spend our anniversary in Cancun Mexico. However the last minute those plans changed, and we were stuck with what we were going to do for the 5 nights that were originally planned. We decided to go to South Padre Island. After much deliberation, we made our decision to stay here at The Isla Grand. From the moment we checked in at the desk, everything went absolutely perfect from there. Let me start at the desk. I was very pleased at the attentiveness we were given every time we had questions or any concern. They were handled professionally, and courteously. They made sure that we were completely satisfied with our room, etc. The room was clean, and large, and had a wonderful view of the very large and clean beach. Housekeeping was equally professional, and there was never a negative concern. They kept the room clean, and fresh. The property itself was kept to standards that are above expectations. Clean, manicured, and made one feel as if they were in a resort. You couldn't ask for anything more. The restaurant was fantastic, and the food was prepared to perfection, and for our anniversary, they made us feel welcome, and took special care to see to it that we would remember this special day for years to come. Even gave us a really decadent dessert for the occasion. That's what I call attention to detail Plus Plus! My wife and I have been to resorts all over the world.

The location was AMAZING a short walk and you're on the beach. They even had a small "night club", 2 pools, and a store. We hardly had to leave the resort. We stayed at the cabanas which were clean and had a view of the ocean, they were a bit outdated but compared to the other hotel prices it was reasonable and I enjoyed my stay! I would defiantly recommend.

This place is extremely overpriced and not a 4-star hotel. The Wi-Fi is free but does not reach the rooms, it only works in the lobby. There is construction in the morning so you cannot sleep in. The beds are not queen and as other have mentioned do not work as sleep-number beds. Housekeeping opened the doors twice to the room even with the "Do Not Disturb" sign.

I was there this past month and it was not worth the price or the headache. Cabanas, as you can see in the picture, are like a motel. Old and outdated except for the little money they spent on the bathroom showers. Don't the fooled by the sleep number bed amenity, they are old and don't work. Management needs to spend a little more attention on the outside, especially they're local cockroaches. Will not stay here again.

Beautiful, wonderful staff at all levels. Food was delicious and we enjoyed the live music in the club. Rooms were spacious and the Sleep Number bed was greatly appreciated.

Save your $$! I'm NOT a negative Nancy/Cathy complainer. However I feel this is necessary to help others. First off, this place is NOT all inclusive! The rooms have not been updated probably since the early 80's. Old furniture, dusty, sleep number beds don't work, no coffee pot, fridge, microwave, etc. For the prices of these rooms, it simply isn't worth it. After one night, we left and went 2 mins down the road to the La Quinta and WOW! What a huge difference! Paid 1\2 the money and much better place! The Isla Grand needs an update majorly.

Over the past 25 years I've stayed 15 or more. Don't have anything negative I could say. I love the restaurant in the eve overlooking the pool for sure.

The hotel was nice specially the restaurant, they have a great variety of foods and the chefs have decades of experience, definitely a must go place in the Island, I enjoyed eating there and the bar is super clean, whoever is their housekeeper is doing a great job in the facility plus the rooms were huge and the bed was comfortable and I got extra 6 pillows and 2 rollaway beds in a matter of 15 minutes that is way faster than a pizza delivery! I have no idea about the complaints from others posted here but it is common for competitors to do negative word mouthing about their competition maybe that's why because as I was reading the reviews I couldn't identify any problem that they were claiming associated with the hotel, I just loved this place and I personally recommend you to go, if you want to stay there and you are not sure about your decision go and ask the manager about the special of the day in the restaurant, eat it and then you decide, their food is really nice and it seems that there's a new band in the bar every week since I stayed 5 days and in the day 4th there was a new singer! This place is just awesome.

Once we found a room we liked it was a 4, the Band Groovie was awesome, which kept us groowing on Sunday night, the lead singer has a great smile, all were extremely talented.

Booked a 3 night stay in a Beach View Cabana. After a tiring 7 hrs on the road, (Mary Ann? ) checked us in almost an hour and half later because the room was not available. A hotel with front desk staff that have no idea about hospitality. And no compunctions to stiff guests at exorbitant rates, isn't this basically a loss for us for no fault of ours. (reminds us of the Seinfeld episode. You know how to take a reservation, you just don't know how to hold one. This was a prepaid reservation and I hoped that they'd be even more cautious). Requested a bell hop to help with moving stuff across a flight of stairs to a second floor cabana and she said that she'd have someone waiting if we pulled our car close. Turns out we ended up waiting about 15 mins and asked a nearby member of the cleaning staff to enquire if someone was coming, and he called up and said that they may be busy and we eventually dragged ourselves to do it, tired of waiting. Everything about the cabana is old and outdated. Really old, dirty and cheap carpeting, no microwave, cramped room, small cheap TV, cane themed furniture that is past its use. Popcorn ceiling, sleep # bed and off white bed covers with spots on the bedsheets. Everything is old and I guess from the 1960's, the patio sliding door is jammed and perhaps off the slide or worn out rollers, there is a telescopic bar that prevents it from opening and it comes off completely, it is in need of repair.

First of all,,, way over priced. This is NOT a PRIVATE resort. So lets get that in the open. I spent 2 days and two nights here this pasted weekend and 80% of the people that were there swimming/ drinking at bar were from random place down the beach. They just came onto the property to drink and swim in our PRIVATE pools. Also they all had there own ice chest with there outside ALCOHOL with them, even when front desk reminds you that no outside alcohol is allowed. All equipment needed for use to tennis/volleyball courts cost. And the TV in the fitness room did not work. The place was a nice place but my main complaint is that you pay high dollar for privacy and this is no were near privacy. Next time well do the same, stay elsewhere and walk to the resort and enjoy everything just as offered on the web site. For 75% cheaper bye stay at motel 6. No security checks anyways.

Daughter's wedding was there. Patricia Blancas was awesome! She and Murphy make it all work out beautifully. They just couldn't control the weather. It was a great experience. The food was great. They bent over backwards to make sure it was a very memorable and positive experience. From last minute cancellations on the pastor and the chairs, they came up with last minute replacements. Everyone had a great experience and enjoyed their stay. Thank you so much.
