Review of Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Braunfels I-35 2*

I only gave it a 2 because I don't I think they had bedbugs. I was so disappointed while staying here. I had previously stayed at the Wyndham in San Marco's (just the day before) and didn't realize how close New Braunfels was. What a mistake moving hotels was! Upon entering my room in this hotel, I noticed the walls were dirty, there was blood smeared on the bathroom wall below the towels, they took our towels to get cleaned but they did not replace them, so we did not have enough wash clothes (not one! — so I used a towel! ) for all of us the next day. Upon entering the hotel we were not greeted, when I asked the gentleman at the front desk about the rooms he was rude and said everybody has different rates. I asked what was on their breakfast buffet and he said whatever comes on continental buffet. I said we said at the other Windham and they have fresh eggs on their's and biscuits and sausage and he says I think we might have hard-boiled eggs and package biscuits. We asked them to recommend a restaurant and he did and it was the worst restaurant I ever ate at. I should not have been surprised since he did not impress me to begin with. The day we checked out though the person at the front desk seemed nicer, but all I really wanted to do was get out of there. We stayed there two nights and I have never been so disappointed. We stayed Their Thursday & Friday with check out on Saturday (July 27-29). If I didn't prepay with Priceline I would definitely left and not stayed here. I will never stay here again nor will I ever recommend Microtel.
