The outside looks bad but the inside is clean. The kitchenette has dishes, cookware and a stove. The full sized fridge was nice. No shampoo, but there is soap. The AC works too well :) it's super cold. The exterior door had no gaps and had good locks. Overall, I had a really good stay and would stay again.

From what I could see, there is nothing wrong with the property as far as cleanliness or upkeep is concerned. The customer service, however, was non existent. The only employee I saw, at the front desk, did not so much as acknowledge me when I walked in the door. I had trouble finding the elevator (it's to the right when you walk in, not where elevators usually are found in this kind of building, the main hallway) and I obviously was having trouble because I walked past the front desk 3 times before I realized it was right by the front door… Point is, not once did the desk person acknowledge or ask me if I needed help. The building has no signage indicating what hotel in it is, there is no billboard or street sign next to the highway, and it is set far back off the road in a wooded area, the only sign is one that says lobby, which cannot be seen from the road. I'd spend my money elsewhere.

Currently at VA hospital on Temple TX, due to 8 bug and or spider bites… Staff member Anthony, when advised have me new linens, helpful. I was able to get some sleep. When getting up, I found that my bites were larger, and throat was thinking or closing. Allergy meds taken, female desk manager advised, then I. Went on to the hospital. Word of advice, Lysol spray and flea/bedbug spray at ANY hotel, that always costs less than $135 a night. I don't blame the staff, just be wary of all areas of any room, many hotels.

If I could give it zero stars I would. This location is TERRIBLE. They have bed bugs AND roaches. The door doesn’t close completely unless you slam it shut. Mostly all the rooms smell like urine and cigarettes. The hotel is supposed to be nonsmoking but some of the guest smoke right in their rooms! The only good thing about this MOTEL I mean hotel is one the staff members named Anthony, as he was extremely helpful throughout everything.

I have been here for 6 months for work, and have had a very good experience! All staff have been extremely nice and helpful. Management is readily available and has always addressed any requests I've had in a timely manner. The location is convenient to shopping, dining, etc… also, compared to other area hotels, room rates are very reasonable. Definitely recommend this location.

My Girlfriend made a reservation for this place for a quick night to spend together before I hit the road for work, when we showed up they told us they had forgot about our reservation and gave the room away. They then refused to give us a refund and call the patrol on us due to our irritation and anger. We've talked to management and corporate and have still not received a refund. Horrible service and experience I would not recommend.

Staying at cheap hotels, you know you have to go without certain luxuries, but certainly not hygiene. I tried a few hotels, because I could not stand them for longer than a day at a time. This hotel is as smelly. I presume the carpets/curtains may not have been washed in months or years. Windows are never opened for fresh air, and most certainly no air freshener is used. The air-conditioning most certainly will contribute to the pungent if not addressed. The hotel is smelly to the point that I had to take a sleeping pill to be able to sleep. A hotel may be cheap, but that is no excuse for smelling like a rathole. This hotel puts the fear into traveling on base fare! Add being situated next to a train rail road, and trains roaring past adds to the woes.

Bad service arrived and did not respect our reservation.

Not the worst place in the world. I've stayed in worse places. Not worth $70 though. Had to book through Priceline because computers were down at the hotel, but that's hardly the hotel's fault. The room was VERY spartan in it's amenities, but basically everything you need if traveling alone. Bed wasn't very comfortable either. All in all, not a horrible place but I doubt I'd stay here again. My advice? Spend the extra money and go to a more reputable chain. Almost forgot the one awesome thing about the place. The AC in the room worked SUPER SUPER well. I like to keep it cold when I sleep and this thing was definitely up to the task.

Shabby place. Small rooms, non attentive staff. Adjacent railway line, lot of disturbance in night to let you have a sound sleep. Breakfast is of no use, it's just coffee and serials.

This is a decent place to stay that doesn't cost a lot. There is a full size refrigerator and a small cook top in each room. The room was not large but clean. I would recommend this place to my friends.

This place was horrible on the go breakfast, room service, and told me that I was supposed to clean my room up for $80 a night. The room keys was messing up every single time I was wanting to get in my room. Sheets did not smell to clean and towels had dirt stains on them as well. Wi-Fi sucked and did not work at all my two night stay there in 3/30/18-04/01/18. I will not be coming back unless new management and better service was provided. I did not at all enjoyed my stay. I have nothing good to say about Extended Stay America.

Looks a bit nicer on the outside than the inside. Broken washers and dryers. Overall comfy enough.

Lane Reeves at the Front Desk is amazing. She is very cordial, sociable with guests, and very knowledgeable of the the entire hotel. She is very helpful to all of her guest's needs and has a very warm/friendly personality. Employees like Lane Reeves are people like me would continually come to this hotel for her amazing hospitality and professionalism. She should be a leader or manager very soon I hope.

For the price it's actually nice. Single stay accommodations are more than enough. Breakfast is muffins, granola bars and coffee, but again for the price that's enough. Shower is a little small and takes a while to heat up, but doable. It appears the HDMI ports on the TV have been disabled. Internet is to slow to stream, but if you upgrade it is. Nice staff, pleasant guest. All in all a good place to sleep and put your stuff down.

I've never stayed at this hotel chain but this was the worst place ever. The room was naste, noticeable stains on the carpet and the draw back blinds. Holes in the wall, and worst of all there was a urine smell in the entire room. It's like staying at a motel for prostitution and junkies.

Room smells like pee, carpet dirty, night crew has no customer service skills, could not change my room bc they were all booked, offered to send me to another location in the middle of the night with my sickly mom but my refund to pay for the other room location would not be credited until 3 to 5 days. So in 54 degree weather my sickly mom had to open a window and cut on the air to avoid the pee smell in the room. She got more sick due to that. She was coughing in the middle of the night from the cold outside and the air on. All the night attendant could say was she would email the mgr and for me to speak with her in the morning. Check out time is 11am but we left at 8am due to the smell. Checked in at 3 30 and out by 8 am. Paid for 1 night service rendered was less than 24 hours. I will never come to any Extended Stays in my lifetime. They will never get my hard earned money they are worthless. The reviews were better last week and I look today and they have received more within a week and now I see why they are now a 2.6. After In done and my mom is done with our reviews this will bring it down to 1.1. Never ever come here unless u like dirty rooms and bad customer service.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Stains in the bed and in the carpet in both rooms we had. Terrible nighttime customer service. Drink machine steals people's money and you know they have known about it for a long time because people have literally carved warnings into the machine. They also won't reimburse you (saw them refuse to help a man who's money the machine had stolen). The hallways smell of multiple types of smoke at night. The hotel Halls and elevator become muggy and stuffy. The night clerk ignored me upon check in to smoke a cigarette outside and talk with friends. The breakfast sucks as well, was almost gone when we left at 7am. All in all it was the worst hotel I've ever been to. I was shocked and disgusted at the state of things and would have absolutely left for another hotel if it hadn't been extremely late when we arrived.

Do not come here. Worst hotel I've ever been to. I only rated it 1 star so I can write a review. There are roaches and ants everywhere. When I notified the front desk they came to look, acted like nothing was happening even though she was literally looking at the ants crawling in front of her. She just left the room when I was trying to talk to her. I could go on about the leaks, dirty beds and more, but the bugs I can not look past.

Told Front desk lady that housekeeping just opened the door to my room without knocking and I wasn't dressed. Obviously I'm upset. She had a defensive attitude when I was upset about this and was raising her voice and being rude. Also don't want to give me basic necessities… like towels. Or are conveniently out of cookware items, etc. I waited all day, until 10 pm for a towel, requested towels from housekeeping and they skipped me giving towels to other rooms and not mine. Leaving for the day without even checking to see if my room needed service. This is discrimination.

Once you've experience a more luxurious hotel it's hard to go back to the basic room.

Room was dirty, when the microwave wouldn’t work I went downstairs and the front desk rep was so rude! I asked if they had a microwave and she said I had one in my room (with attitude). When I asked for maint she said there was none until Mon. Didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. It was late and we were leaving early in the am, otherwise we would have checked out right then. The room was disgustingly dirty, you can see in the pics. We also found a shirt that wasn’t ours. It was obvious that there was a lack of attention to detail when turning the rooms. There are no hairdryers and our non smoking room smelled awful. That was weird because the paint and carpet are fresh and new. So no idea why or where the smell was coming from. Was a combo of cigarettes and dirty mop water (best way I can explain it and room was supposed to be non smoking).

You get what you pay for, new management better & "assumed updated internet" is worse connection than before. Call 800 almost daily sucks! The rooms are hit and miss on quality. I had a good one this week. My Thoughts: No economy hotel should allow people to bring their unkept dogs. Takes "bed bugs" to a whole new level. Although when your in need and on a budget in R. R area there is no competition.

We checked in and I saw a cockroach on the floor crawling behind the desk… strike 1. The next morning coffee was not out at a decent hour and help was scarce, when someone rendered their version of customer service, I was told I couldn't have new towels unless I returned the used ones first to ensure the hotel would get them back? What? I mean who wants those towels? If they do, they must be desperate… strike 2. Lastly, the morning of our check out, I brought all our towels back to receive new ones, we were leaving early to get on the road; Another guest was being helped. When I arrived at the front desk, the guest said I'd just missed her, she had shut the door to the front desk area. (a young African-American woman, with braids and chunky on the overnight shift). Then I went to the side door since it was open and was going to ask for new towels there, however not knowing I was standing outside the door she said and I quote: "I don't know why these damn customers keep coming up here to the desk? My sign plainly says 7:30 on it! They're getting on my damn nerves! " then she slammed the door. Strike 3. I did go read the sign but we were leaving early and needed towels! The whole experience was horrible and no one seems to care about the customer service or the fact that the hotel is broken down and has an insect/roach infestation. Do not come here! get out!

My bed had a few ants in it the bed sheets themself did not smell nice but very cheap price but one other thing I did not like was you can hear people conversation I for sure never coming to this hotel agian.

Great rooms. Located right off the interstate and across from several franchised restaurants. Great location to walk and view the famous bat siting!

Disappointed on there being no daily towel service, but very satisfied with customer service since we were moved to another room after finding our non smoking room had been smoked in by a previous customer. Appreciate the free Wi-Fi and breakfast, but the hours are little early for the jet lagged lol.

Originally booked on Expedia, their severs were down. The prepaid reservation did not transfer as a result but the overnight clerk let us check in eventually anyway. But the room didn't have a refrigerator or a bathroom vent fan, so all our food went bad. The owner stated that the maintenance man wouldn't be in until morning… As if he wasn't capable of unplugging a refrigerator from another room and bringing it in to us. Or maybe moving us to a room that had a refrigerator. Well I'm sure he saved a few dollars there but I assure you that I will not be returning to this or any extended stay America location in the future. Good job overnight clerk though, very much appreciate your level of service. Oh and don't plan on eating the Continental breakfast, they only put out 6 nature's valley bars at a time and if the maid is too busy then it's just far to inconvenient to restock. Guess we will have to buy our own food again since we didn't have a fridge and breakfast wasn't actually available at 6am like advertised.

This place is absolutely disgusting. First and foremost my children and I got in super late, the lady at the front desk was extremely rude. I asked if there was a luggage trolley, she said "No, it's broke" and walked away. The entrance to the lobby had beer bottles all around it. Which put a bad taste in my mouth about management. We parked on the side of the building and there was broken glass and beer bottles everywhere. My children literally had to watch their every step so they didn't get cut up. Management does not tend to the outside at all as there was cigarette buts covering almost every entrance to the hotel. We got to our room and there was a dirty cup with dried up juice in it on the floor. Advertising is false… among the many false advertising they do the kitchenette was the biggest! They advertised as having cookwear, dishwear & utensils, there was nothing! My family and I were suppose to stay at the extended stay for 3 weeks we ended up checking out two days later. There are plenty of reasonably priced hotels nearby I would suggest going to those instead.

The restaurant service is good.

Staff is wonderful, very nice and helpful. Seems like there are many long term guests. At some point in it's history someone kicked in the door on my room or at least attempted to. The latch is missing the lower rivet and the dead bolt does not work properly. Back door does not appear to be locked at any time and it was not necessary to use the key card even at 11pm. Used the microwave to heat a frozen burrito, it got colder? One bed in the room is not level and wobbles with an accompanying noise to ensure the neighbors are aware your in bed. All in all though you get what you pay for and it was a bit of a deal on price.

For the average person, this place will do. It is a bit rough looking with the type of people that stay there. I liked it because it was affordable and it had a kitchen to cook in. I was looking for the kitchen part to cook while I was in Round Rock/Georgetown. There are tons of better places to stay if you want to pay more. For $50 though… it's not a bad choice. I was staying a night and maybe going back the next day, so it was a good choice for me at the time. The people can look rough, or sketchy but it didn't bother me. The people to me seemed to mind their own business and also seemed nice. Keep in mind there are other places that cost more and are nicer to stay in. The bed and rooms were about par to average. Nothing to write home about. The place was safe. Good enough to nice place for me and i've stayed in $300 — $400 a night hotels for extended periods of time… this place will get you by for the night.

Room was not clean. It is clear that do not give care to the combining. I had set in the night but at the almaneser had cockroaches in the room.

I was booked here for a work assignment by an undisclosed company. I can honestly say if I wasn't homeless, and living out of my car at that point in time, I might have stayed in my vehicle. Huge no smoking sign in entryway is obviously ignored. Room was permeated with cigarette odor and furniture, linens, sheetrock were all damaged with some strange odor that reminded me of a dank 1970s home. Had to keep room window wide open during my 3 day stay just to facilitate breathing. Can honestly say that cleanliness, and being in touch with 21st century living standards is not something people around Austin believe in.

Terrible experience in all respects. We were misled about the pet fees when we made our reservations. There was a bad unidentifiable smell in the halls. Our room didn't have the right size bed. The kitchen faucet sprayed water sideways onto the floor. We'll never stay here again.

Tina was very helpful. Hotel didn't have a full size fridge so she called another hotel that was able to accommodate what we needed and simply transferred us to another hotel, and Bill took care of us. I would highly recommend Extended Stay, they take care of their customers.

My husband and I were not happy with our room was not clean at all. It seemed like all was done for our arrival was to put in towels, soap, garbages were in the cans, and change the sheets. The shower curtains were stained and the shower stall was not clean nor was the toilet. We were to exhausted to even ask for another room. The next morning we found cake icing spread over the TV screen and both chairs, and all over the air conditioner, and on the floor next to the armed chair. I had to clean all this and the burners on the stove top were dirty. The websites looked so nice, we were not impressed. Someone needs to inspect the cleaning crew and make sure they are doing their job. The hallways were not vacuumed, the exit doors inside landing lights covered with cobwebs soil spots. A cricket jumpedal on us while we were in bed. I loved the place nice and quiet. Accommodations were just lousy. 8

Room and customer service were okay. I think they are short staffed though. The reason I'm giving it a low rating is because this place has ROACHES. A huge one was crawling on the ceiling and the guy at the front desk came to kill it for me. A small one was in the fridge and on the wall and there was a cricket in my room also. The woman at the front desk said they close the whole room down and call pest control when that happens. I guess this means the bugs just travel to a different room if you aren't going to fumigate the whole building. That's unacceptable to me. Also, it's by the train track so if you hate the sound if trains at night, this won't be a place for you.

Average hotel stay. Staff was friendly. My room was not serviced or replenished any day. The hallway smells very musty and gives the hotel a cheap feel. It's priced accordingly and you get what you pay.

Thank you Extended Stay! You went above and beyond helping out a stranded traveler. Reviews don't make sense, the rooms are great, clean, comfortable and updated. I have a flat screen, free Wi-Fi, a stove and a mini fridge! No complaints from here.

NEVER staying here again! Got locked out of our room because the key was programmed for the wrong amount of days for our stay. Got in late after working and no staff would answer the night phone so we were locked out of our room for several hours. Had to call corporate several times which was unable to make contact with property management and night staff. Stranded in the lobby until my husband finally woke up the person on duty that was apparently asleep in the office which then was very rude to us I guess for waking her up. Worst service ever! We filed a complaint with corporate which was supposed to contact us within 48 hours and never did. What a waste of a descent hotel!

They have up to date decor for the sleeping, living area, and restroom. They have ample parking and this style of room is great if you're staying a while since it comes with an ironing board, iron, stove, and microwave. The only reason I'm giving them three stars is because the restroom door knob was broken and it locked me in the restroom. More than one of the towels had hairs in them that weren't mine. Considering people stay here for an extended period, it was rough to not feel dirty. The shower also had shampoo from a previous tenant in the shower and on the shower curtain. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Absolutely terrible! I thought I could look past the bad reviews for only staying one night due to the electricity being out at my home but oh no! Firstly, we could not get the key cards to work for room 205 or 215 so after lugging my bag, purse and dog back and forth 3 times to the front desk I wound up in 216. I reserved a two bed on the phone about 20mins before arriving but when I got there was informed they don't have two beds at all. The guy taking reservations failed to know that I suppose. There was no price difference so cramming on the one full size bed is what we did. Not 5mins being in the room, I realize there is a DISGUSTING smell coming from the bathroom. Sure enough someones nasty leftover Mexican food was floating all over, sludge was one inch from overflowing and the front desk gave me a plunger… Yuck! With a "funny" remake that after the key issues I was not having a good night, ya think?! For the next 5hrs I listened to doors slamming, people stomping down the hall and the train going by as if my window was wide open until I had to pee. Got up, peed, flushed, and water started streaming all over the room, all the way out the door. I called the front desk and the response I got was that she's not a plumber and I need to come get more towels. I quickly packed up and left. Not only am I paying $109 for the night but I was there 6 hrs, didn't sleep, plunged someone else's crap and told I need to get towels. No thanks.

Seems a little out dated and seemed to be under construction. Overall great for the price.

I have NO idea what these Nancy's are complaining about. Front desk is great. Place is newly renovated. Employee even went out of his way to hold the door for me, This is a 2, 5 star place. I suggest to long winded poster below To put down some money if she expects 5 star accommodations. Did you even look at the freaking pictures? If you are going to write a review make it accurate and not a forum to get your personal Bit (h on.

Dirty, cramped, running toliet, no place in bathroom to put stuff.

Sketchy neighborhood, filthy rancid halls, no attendants on duty during morning shift, the ROACHES were perfectly content with being in the light, fridge was disgusting as was the rest of the room, moldy chips under bed skirt, not a drop of hot water if you want a nice shower, holes in walls, carpets dirty, BEDBUGS!, no guest telephone in room even though we were told to call if we needed anything, plenty of TRAINS all night, shower only no bath, mini fridge not full sized as told. 10/10 would rather sleep in own vehicle as opposed to staying 1 minute in this trash hotel that is still considered a franchisee for Extended Stay America.

First off if you like trains and bats this is the place for you, new modernized rooms the size of a portable toilet, ppl partying in the parking lot and giving discount tatoos in the rooms. No security no cameras and god forbid something happends to your vehicle while you sleep, oh and on a side note if a member of the hotel staff has to bring their husband to work to feel safe what does it tell you about this place.

First, let me say that the lowest rating I could give was 1 star. I seriously wanted to give it ZERO stars. This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. I reserved over the phone and asked very specific questions based on what I read on the website. On the website, the hotel advertises FULL SIZED refrigerators in every room EXCEPT economy suites. I called to make sure that I did not end up with an economy suite. Having a full sized fridge was the single most important factor (at least I thought it was) because I would be traveling with two small children and didn’t want to spend hundreds on food during the week-long stay. I was assured on the phone that I was not reserving an economy suite. Pleased with my choice, with no reason to doubt the validity of the photos on the website, I prepared for my trip. Upon arrival, I was instantly concerned by the traffic in the parking lot. There were some sketchy people walking all over the place and quite a few visibly disabled vehicles. I checked in and proceeded to my room, knowing that once inside I wouldn’t care about the activities in the parking lot. Boy…. Was I wrong. As I walked down the hallway to my room, I noticed quite a few things that concerned me. First, the carpets were FILTHY and looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in months…. If not years. There was a strong smell of mildew mixed with Pine-Sol. The smell became replaced with cigarettes and marijuana as I got closer to my room.

Stayed here after they turned up on Priceline as being well within our budget and near to where we wanted to be in town. We had been concerned with bed bugs and the like after the reviews lower down, but we ended up with an adequate, though not great, four nights. — — There weren't any bed bugs, although one of the light fixtures seemed to be a burial ground for dead crickets. Regardless, we weren't afraid to sleep in the beds or anything after checking the room out. — — The "breakfast" was a couple baskets with pre-wrapped muffins, granola bars, and some apples, as well as some coffee that wasn't worth trying again after the first time. I feel like calling their offering 'breakfast' was somewhat dishonest. Seeing 'breakfast' on the listing made us thing we were getting something nicer than we ended up with. — — The carpets were shabby, and the air conditioner seemed to work but the control panel settings didn't have much to do with the actual behavior of the air conditioner. — — Push comes to shove, we got what we paid for, it wasn't so bad we had to walk away, but we probably wouldn't choose to stay there again. — — Side note: regardless of asking for a non-smoking room with 2 beds, priceline gave us a smoking single. We weren't confident in the process, so we called and checked before we got to town. The front desk was able to change the reservation for a reasonable amount.

So awful, we gave up our entire five day pre-paid non-refundable stay. You can imagine how awful it was: people on a budget would resort to this. We once stayed at an Extended Stay in San Diego and it was great — — clean, easy, very nice. However. While the location in North Austin/Round Rock was fine, the check-in lady very cordial, this hotel, Extended Stay American Round Rock North was HORRIFIC. The room was the size of the bathroom at the one in San Diego. The "Queen" bed was really a double, and everything was either stained or worn. The hotel itself smelled awful. The hallway carpets were stained, the linens very worn. The pressboard bureau was scratched. We love dogs and stayed at the San Diego ES because of that. However, the person next door at the ES RR had a huge, angry Pitt bull that was not only barking, but slamming itself into the wall. All of these factors add up to incompatible. We walked into the room and out. As we stepped out of the hotel, there was major car repair going on, replete with an enormous truck, sketchy folks and hearty swearing. People were leaving and arriving (in their cars) in pajama bottoms and pool slippers, cigarettes dangling from their mouths. I was convinced that neighbor (Pitt bull owner/pizza orderer) could potentially be cooking up meth in the kitchen (the one in our room was very grungy).

I have stayed here before the first time my husband and I were here for like 4 months absolutely no problems. I'm here again I've only been here 2 days and no problems so far um the room now has a flat screen TV and the beds are much nicer I believe it has a kind of pillow top on it. I plan on staying here through the end of the year. And so far I'm very glad I made the choice is close to my work and it's cheaper than trying to get an apartment. There is an addition to the staff that I find to be not very helpful but the regulars, like the manager and Quinton are awesome! I would recommend this place I've never had a problem.
