Reviews of The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio 4*
Nice room and the staff is great. The hotel bar is overpriced.
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. No one ever answers the phone… for ANYTHING. The rooms are small and outdated, the front desk is rude and unhelpful, and there is a drummer right outside the hotel who makes an awful racket all night. AVOID this hotel at all costs.
Absolutely amazing, from meet and greet to checkout.
Staff is amazing, food was superb, huge handicap accessible room. Cannot brag enough about the helpfulness of everyone here whom we encountered. Would definitely return.
I travel a lot for work and have stayed at many different hotels. This one makes one of my top 3 (perhaps even #1) for comfort, cleanliness and staff. The bed is awesome and for the first time ever in a hotel didn’t wake up a million times throughout the night and wasn’t having neck or back pain! I almost couldn’t believe it! It was a Wonderful nights sleep! Also, showers in hotels are usually subpar. Not here! They are perfect! You don’t have to run around to get wet and the water pressure is plentiful! Lastly, the staff is amazing! Very friendly and extremely helpful! I don’t have anything negative to say. If you are able, the Riverwalk views are beautiful with little balconies so you can sit out there with your coffee and watch the sun rise in the morning. I give them a 10/10!
Beautiful hotel. Very nice staff.
Me and my Husband had our 25th cow renewal and we came to celebrate at the Westin and it was beautiful and a pleasant say. The staff was awesome, we stayed on the 15th floor the view was lovely.
Really disappointed in the experience we had here. Unfortunately when we had a problem it was not taken seriously I was transferred person to person with no resolution. I was told numerous times “let me take a message and the manager will call you back. ” It’s two days later and the manager still hasn’t called back. The food is also awful and outrageously priced. If you stay here I would highly recommend leaving and going elsewhere for food. Quality is way better and the price point is also more reasonable. I have no problem paying if the food was actually good but it was unpalatable. There are much better restaurants within walking distance.
Highly recommended. We really enjoyed our suite. Great service. Thank you!
Great location, great service, great coffee. But the toiletries are the best, White Tea fragrance by Elizabeth Arden ❤
Immaculate and lovely rooms. Friendly, accommodating staff. I would highly recommend for visiting or special events.
Very attentive staff from the time I walked in the door till I left. Clean and crisp room.
Very nice, but the shower was cold in the morning and afternoon, as in barely above room temperature. It was fine in the evening. The little jet fountains at the swimming pool add a nice bit of white noise. Gym was decent. Friendly staff. Lovely sitting areas and jazz music in the lobby.
Only problem I had was I was told 18 was fine for check in. Luckily we had a person turning 21 during the duration of our stay. My group is 19-20/21 year olds. However despite that that this hotel is amazing! Very lovely rooms and being so close to the river is amazing. I plan to come back when I turn 21. I recommend this to any group looking for a getaway. I would recommend a 2-4 night stay.
Great service, Valet is $35 or more if you are taking your car. Good option to park the car opposite to Hotel in Public parking which is equally good but charge per day $25 (no in and out though). Hotel rooms are good, prefer the riverside view room. Hotel location is great as is close all the attraction you can go by walk. Alamo would be 1.5 mile from the Hotel. Pretty good experience.
Stayed here several times, rooms are never ready and always overbooked. Check in is at 3 I arrived well after 5 to be told room was not ready and would have to wait (no estimate time frame given) I always have to downgrade from what I pay. Don’t get the fixed rate. There’s better quality for same price and location. The room itself was decent. The bathroom door was difficult to open and close (probably settling). Coffee maker didn't work. Lighting inside the rooms is not the best. As someone mentioned the rooms are damp and the air conditioner can't keep up.
The room was gorgeous! The entire staff from check in, to restaurants to valet parking to check out was absolutely amazing and helpful! The hotel is in the perfect spot, just a short walk and you are on the river! Just perfect! The Westin definitely made my birthday one to remember! And we now have a favorite hotel for when we come back!
Was there for a conference. Staff was friendly. Everything was beautiful and very well run. We used a variety of rooms throughout the hotel. Food options were delicious, even with dietary restrictions. Overall great experience.
My parents Edward and Mary Rose Lee are staying there this week for the Elks convention. Due to a medical emergency on Sunday my father had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. I just wanted to take the time and recognize your staff, especially Gabriel who went above and beyond to show great kindness to my mother in her time of need when she was thousands of miles from home. He personally picked her up Sunday night and then again on Tuesday drove her to hospital. My parents are always doing for others without a second thought and it was comforting to our family to know they were on the receiving end of the kindness they share daily with the people they encounter. We can’t thank you enough for all that you did during their stay.
Amazing location! The hotel staff is excellent, and thoughtful. I loved my room's space, and decor, though it could have had a few more readily accessible power outlets in the bedroom. The room got dark and cold, and was generally quiet. I'd definitely recommend this Westin to anyone wanting to be in the middle of downtown, with easy access to most of the popular sites. I hope to stay again soon.
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HoteIRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Very nice hotel and I will stay here again for sure! I loved sitting outside on the river walk so close to my room. I only have 2 small critiques, the room was warm. The temp said 65° and that was the coolest it would go. I normally keep my house at 68° and there is no way it ever got to 65°. Second is probably on me because I assumed the breakfast buffet was complimentary and it's $20/person plus coffee and tip. It's only complimentary if you're a member of their club.
The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. We had a river-facing room with a balcony. The balcony was small but no complaints about the actual room. The pool was nice and had a full bar. Everything was very close by and just a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again.

I felt this place was very nice. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The food served was amazing and very flavoraful. The rooms were pristine and extremely big with large bay windows over looking the river walk or the street views. The coffee station in the room was so neat and tidy with Starbucks coffee, tea and Aquafina water. The pool and lounge area was breath taking and I literally fell asleep on one of the comfy Victoria chairs as I waited for my friend to come down stairs. Didn’t even notice myself drift asleep as I did. I remember once sitting on thier balcony and reading a book. The birds chirped. The river sounded so nice.
Very comfortable rooms, excellent service, beautiful views of Riverwalk, conference rooms were comfortable and provided needed space for breakout discussions. Food served during conference was both tasty and accommodating for dietary needs for participants. Great location. Doubt I will stay anywhere else when I am in San Antonio.
The hotel was pretty. The housekeeping was excellent. Don't waste your money on valet parking their slow and very very unorganized. They misplaced my keys and kept asking me for my valet ticket after I gave it to them. It took 40 minutes for them to retrieve my vehicle from the parking garage across the street. The front desk insisted I fill out a pet form night 3 because they didn't produce it when I checked in. I filled out the form and left the next morning. Never again.
1st time staying downtown San Antonio, and I'm super glad I decided to stay at the Westin! The Westin is absolutely beautiful! From the entrance, to the lobby to the room! Every inch of this place is gorgeous! THE POOL ON THE 4TH FLOOR IS AMAZING! If you have a few extra bucks, I promise you that every dollar spent here is worth it. It puts you perfectly in walking distance to the riverwalk and a ton of places offering food and drinks. Or you could just enjoy the amazing restaurant that the hotel has to offer!
Excellent hotel right on the riverwalk, in the center of all the action. I had a corner suite which is spacious and has two balconies. The bathroom in this room is amazing. Separate shower, large deep bathtub, doored commode. Parking is across the street and ~$20 per day. Very nice hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Westin Riverwalk. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, and the bed is very comfortable. The best part is that the location cannot be beat. The only complaint I have is that we could hear every word from the people in the next room. The door in between did nothing to muffle the noise. It was entertaining, but not very conducive to sleep. Overall though, it was a great hotel.
Very very good food! A friend and I split a salad and pasta dish. We had the idea, then the server suggested we go halvsies without us asking. On point suggestion. We added scallops to the Cesar salad. They were perfectly cooked and added a lot to the evening. Just the right combination of spices and flavor made all the difference. Definitely recommending to any friends or family who visit!
Never wanna stay here again. Nothing like any Westin I've stayed in. Very outdated, horrible front desk service. Don't get me wrong some of the employees were nice but for the most part we were there on business for a conference and they gave the hardest time checking in. The walls are paper thin so I heard everything above below right left and across the hall. The upside was the doormen were nice and attentive. Pick somewhere else would be my recommendation.
Difficult check in followed by a heavenly bed that had seen it's better days. Slept poorly. Slept hot. Not the cleanest Westin I have been to, either. Pool had no towels for hours as children air dried, even though multiple guests alerted the hotel. It was a beautiful property in a fabulous location.
Outstanding hotel with great amenities. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is spacious and luxurious. Parking is expensive, but there's a couple of parking garages across the street at half the price. Location is its main value here. The quieter part of the riverwalk is just right downstairs. If you're looking for restaurants and the busier part of the riverwalk, it's actually on the other side — 5 to 10 minutes walking required. Overall, great value for your stay in downtown San Antonio!
This was my third stay at The Westin and my first time taking my sweet dog's. While all the front door and front desk personnel welcomed my furry friends, the Westins Riverwalk restaurant was not pet friendly. I was shocked by being forced to leave the open air patio just after sitting down. I told the waiter I had a room but he didn't care. This should be posted somewhere. My animal's are well behaved, not aggressive and to top it off, the only other seated individuals told the waitstaff that we weren't bothering them.
The price point is a little high for what you get at this hotel. With a couple of notable exceptions (Marissa on the front desk and Brandon from room service — both very personable and helpful) the service was just okay. Paper thin walls meant listening to conversations in the adjoining room. Not the hotel's fault but the drag racers late into the evening didn't help with the overall impression.

My stay here was great! Desk staff was very polite and helpful. No issues checking in, got a free upgrade to a suite on the top floor. Hotel was very clean. Service in the hotel restaurant downstairs left a bit to be desired. Bar staff was great the first night, but ate dinner there the second night and took forever to be seated, servers were slow to get to us. Food was great though. Valet parking was a bit pricey at $40 a night but think that is about standard for hotel valets in that area. Overall terrific stay!
Absolutely beautiful hotel! Rooms were very nice. It was truly the perfect location. Close to everything, yet on a quiet part of the Riverwalk at the same time. Amenities were wonderful!
+ Relaxing and pretty location on River Walk. Not in the center of the party but close enough to get there quickly. Staff helpful and friendly. Main areas of hotel are pretty and well kept. No bedbugs. Pillows/bedding were great. In-room lock box and fridge. — Room was dated (not as nice as we would have expected) and my ritual bedbug investigation led to discovery of lots of built up dirt/dust/disgust. Mattress comfort was ok. Most disappointing thing was there was absolutely no ability to get a pop late at night without ordering overpriced room service w/$4 service charge and 22% added gratuity. That would have been a very expensive soda. Front desk directed me to walk across the street to the parking garage to access the pop machine which didn't actually work. Overall I would say 3/5 stars. I wouldn't not stay there again but I would probably look at other opportunities first.
It is located in downtown San Antonio. Very big and nice. The rooms are pretty clean.
I love the Heavenly beds! I wanted to bring it home with me. The staff is very nice, super helpful. My only compliant is about room service forgetting my order. The Valets are stellar. Can't wait to go back.
It's a very good place to lively exsenlaging cervicio.
All in all it was a fine hotel, but next time we will stay at the Wyndham or similar hotel and save $100, and receive the same room, atmosphere, and service as the Westin. This hotel did not meet my expectations of a 4 star Hotel.
The location of this hotel was amazing. You can walk right outside the doors and be on the riverwalk. The staff was very nice and helpful as well. No lines at check in, and check out at 12 was nice. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean. The atmosphere downstairs was very nice and I love that they have a heated pool (we didn’t use the pool though).
I wasn’t expecting much of a view, but we were looking into people’s offices and I’m sure they could see us as clearly as we could see them.
The motorcycles, sirens, trains, mariachi music and cars were all too much at night time. I did not sleep well at all.
We were also given a handicap room for whatever reason, which made the bathroom a little less relaxing without a tub.
The bar and restaurant were WAY too expensive for us to even consider eating/drinking there.
The AC didn’t seem to cool the room much. We walked in and had to turn it down to 64 to just be comfortable.
The valet for $42.50 plus tip is a little ridiculous, although this is the second Westin I’ve stayed at and that seems to be normal not to have free parking like a normal hotel. (Not across the street in a garage)
Very nice hotel! The lobby is beautifully decorated and makes a big impact when you pull up. Everyone at the front was very helpful when we arrived and needed to store our mountain bikes. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and lovely. The pool is heated which was nice when we stayed in January. And the fitness center was also very nice.
Beautiful hotel. Great staff. Light sleepers beware. The room locks require guests to jam on the door to open. This was extremely loud, and as a light sleeper it woke me up every time. They do provide a lovely lavender balm that helps with sleep, but it is no match for the noise. I think ear plugs would have resolved it, but I didn't have any.
Great location and the rooms are very nice. The only reason for not giving a five star review was the check-in experience. Our room was not ready when we checked in around 2:00, which was ok since we were early. The front desk staff offered to text us when the room was ready. Unfortunately, our room want available until about 5:00 and the line to check-in once the room was ready took 30 minutes. The next day, we received a voucher from the hotel as an apology for the inconvenience, which was thoughtful. However, the check-in experience was simply not well run.
We stayed overnight at The Westin Riverwalk so that we could do the Riverwalk and walk the city. We are from St. Louis, MO so we were visiting for the night. We stayed in a very nice sweet with a king size bed. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. After our adventures in downtown San Antonio, we came back to our rooms for much needed rest. The shower head was elegant looking but did not provide nearly the adequate pressure for a relaxing shower but the detachable shower head did. I was really impressed at the hotel's commitment to going green as to offering additional reward points as an incentive. I had a nice time at The Westin and will definitely be back!
The river walk ornaments at Christmas is like being in a movie, I would definitely come back again.
Excellent customer service. Incredible view from our balcony. Comfortable room and bed. They would have gotten 5 stars from us if they provided free Wi-Fi to guests.
Great stay. Friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Loved the balcony overlooking the river and the view of the city. Loved the decor throughout. The only damper was the waitress during breakfast. She was friendly but missed a few things, such as a spoon for my breakfast parfait, otherwise it would have been a five star stay.
A nice place with great staff. Everyone is willing to help and the accommodations are excellent. But it is lacking a hot tub. This is on the quiet side of the river walk area and more of a elegant place than a party place. Parking is a bit steep at $40 a day plus tip. On site restaurant is good and the food is adequate for a hotel. The rooms are clean and on the nicer end of hotel rooms.
Great location. Great staff. Cozy rooms. We had a great event. The conference rooms back up to a hallway with balcony access to the river. Great for breakout conversations.
Great hotel! My boyfriend and I would definitely stay here again. Try to get a balcony on the Riverwalk side. It's worth the extra $40. The bar allows you to sit outside on the actual river walk which is great because it's on the quieter end. Customer service and valet are very professional as well.
A beautiful hotel on a quieter side of the river walk. Close enough to walk to the "more action" side of the river walk. It's great to sit on the patio and have dinner and drinks! The staff is superb from check in to check out! Importantly the staff was very friendly and always helpful!
The Westin Riverwalk is a beautiful hotel. I am very pleased that I had a refrigerator in my room. However, the hot water in the bathroom sink took several minutes to heat up, and the rain shower shower head had next to no water pressure. The meeting rooms worked very well for our conference, and the staff was most helpful.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… At the Westin for a conference. Food is excellent. Facilities are wonderful. Staff is simply superb. The event planner and the catering manager are to notch. The hotel's strawberry short cake is divine.

Right on the Riverwalk! the guest services asked us for the reason for our visit, I informed her that it was our anniversary just as convorsation while we waited for our room cards to be created. Later that evening we ordered room service, and they send us complementary champagne and fruit plate! With a card that read, ' happy anniversary! ' overall it was just the best hotel experience I've had. Highly recommend.
My first trip to San Antonio and I loved it. The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms clean and the view over the river is just lovely. Can't wait to go back.
Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, and the bed was very comfy. Some things felt missing. For example, a fan in the bathroom. One thing to do note was a horrible clanking sound that occurs about every 20 minutes in our room. I believe it's the AC shutting off. It woke my wide and I up multiple times at night, and I'm a heavy sleeper.

Excellent service. Amazing view from the room. Clean room, extremely comfortable beds, and within walking distance of all the great things down town San Antonio has to offer! Can't wait to go back!
Great location. I stayed 2 days and found it great. The breakfast buffet could be better stacked towards vegetarians, but other than that I couldn't complain. The rooms are great, downtown yet not noisy. Would recommend!
INCREDIBLE experience at this hotel! Highly recommend to anyone coming to San Antonio. We came for a two day trip and from the moment we arrived we received OUTSTANDING service from every hotel employee. When one of the housekeeping ladies learned it was my parents' anniversary, she brought a beautiful tray of chocolate strawberries that were hand delivered to our room. The breakfast and meals we had here were delicious and each hotel staff member has gone out of their way to make us feel at home and comfortable. Even our little dog got a bed and bowls and made her feel comfortable too! If you come to San Antonio, stay here!
We spent out 4th of July weekend there. There is nothing special about it. However they greet you very well but be aware of: — No regular housekeeping because they are busy! — No coffee or tea on your bar again because they are busy! — walking to front desk to ask for something that you already called for 20 minutes ago! — No free parking & $42 valet parking — safety issue. Cannot upload photo here, but there are some loose tiles on 14th floor balcony which can fall in pool area if it's windy! I showed the picture to front desk and she just said Ok! I think because they are busy again! Spend a little bit more and stay in nice place if you do not wanna hassle!
I checked in on the 1st of july, today is the 2nd, I'm checking out tomorrow, the 3rd. Folks save your money. The hotel is overpriced. It's not worth the money. Its lacking in decor as well as cleanliness. Has an odor to it… can't quite put my finger on it tho. Leaning more toward a mildew kind of odor. Im on the 7th floor. Parking with the hotel is ridiculous at 40 dollars a night. The valet service is slow and is not organized. I wouldn't come back. No reason to.
I was disappointed in this hotel stay. I am a SPG Gold member and I will not be returning to this hotel for the following reasons: 1) Valet was VERY expensive ($40 a night). 2) We had issues with our hotel bathroom. Every time I turned on the hot water, it made a VERY VERY loud dull noise and did not stop the entire duration of the shower. When I reported it to the hotel staff, it took them several hours to get it fixed. They clearly have old plumbing at this hotel and it shows… 3) Our bathroom sink was also experiencing issues. It appeared to be clogged and the entire sink would fill with water while you were brushing your teeth or washing your hands. After engineering came to resolve the issue, there was a foul smell coming from the sink.? Expired food? Vomit? It was disgusting. 4) The "spa" isn't a spa. It is simply a hotel room with 2 massage tables in it. The masseuse wasn't very attentive and I literally had the worst massage of my life. I asked her to focus almost exclusively on my upper back, and was told to lie face-up. She spent 35 minutes of a 50 minute massage on my legs and feet. I was charged for a deep-tissue and received a Swedish style massage. It was truly a waste of $150. I would NOT recommend the spa. 5) The coffee shop attendant is never around. I tried several times to get a coffee 2 mornings in a row and waited over 5 minutes with no service. My FINAL morning, the attendant came from a side room, after I stood there for 3 minutes.
Just checked out and will never return to this hotel. The rooms were clean and the valet was nice, thus the 2 stars. The front desk was extremely rude both on check in and check out. I thought hotels were in the hospitality business? They also lacked any knowledge about the hotel or the amenities available. The carpets were worn out and towels were old. If you like mediocre service, you wont mind staying here otherwise stay away and spend your good hard-earned money somewhere else.
Fantastic service! The staff is wonderful… cant stress that enough. Great facilities, nice rooms, overall great amenities. The electrical and plumbing could use a little tlc in room 622… loose outlets, noisy pipes, grout.
The room was fantastic! Comfy clean room with beautiful decor and great facilities. The conference space had great decir also and quick and friendly staff.
I don't recommend to stay here. I stayed at the terrace room, which is kind of special room I think, since they have 5 to 10 out of hundreds room. But when I checked in there was a leftover of previous stayed hotel guest in the refrigerator. I complained to front desk. They clean up them within I went out for dinner. That's OK. At the terrace, there is some trash such as packed juice, cigarette and seems like some pen. Those were not clean up. so my conclusion is even the kind of special room, as you can understand, its quality is not good. So I personally, don't want to stay normal room. I can't expect good service here. Also, don't recommend to you to stay here.
Lovely hotel. Stay here on a visit for work conference. It's v friendly, good selection for breakfast (not generally included but it's worth a punt) and rooms were of a good size. Was here for Brooklyn Knicks game& they were staying in hotel (either that or alot of v tall fans in tracksuits) … nice to see! Would stay again.
My wife and I stayed overnight for a little get away. We stayed in a corner suite facing the river. The room was very nice with a modern bathroom. The service was incredible, all of the staff was friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.
The room was amazing and service everywhere was great. The restaurant was not the best service for a piece of trash hole in the wall barely even fast food restaurant let alone a 5 star Italian restaurant. It had good reviews but from where? The hotel is good though.
The Westinghouse is a nice hotel. It is clean and has plenty of places to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff, for the most part, has been helpful and thorough in making sure we have everything we need for our event. There are a couple of areas outside, especially in the pool area, that are kind of run down. The pool was pretty dirty, but I hope someone will clean it out today. The rooms are nice, but nothing too special.
Like the name says, right on the Riverwalk. Free Wi-Fi if you're a member of their loyalty club, the beds are comfortable, and many nice restaurants in easy walking distance. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful.
This very nice, but the service left a lot to be desired. It took for everything. In addition charge you everything separately, since a hotel copper parking and Wi-Fi at 16 dollars a day each with price that night already have is theft.
The rooms were not cleaned daily. Our bed was never made up, nor were towels cleaned or toiletries replaced in the four days we stayed there ($300/night). The staff were rude and unfriendly. They discourage any type of living in the rooms, including phone conversations and personal conversations. We were honestly asked twice to refrain from personal conversations in our room at 10:00 pm. I have never experienced this level of sensitivity. Their walls must be very thin and not up-to-code. We'll never stay at a Westin again. What a sad, unappealing experience this was.
The room was ok. A little loud. I could hear all the conversation coming from the room next to mine. The room was clean and nice, tho.
Good service, great location, great restaurant. But have to pay for Wi-Fi? For the price of the room, I would have expected free Wi-Fi like much lesser expensive hotels.
The Westin on the riverwalk is one of my favorite hotels to stay at in San Antonio. From the people that work there, to the super comfy beds, to the clean rooms. JR was a super personable guy that brought our luggage up to the room and gave us some helpful tips on where to go and made us feel so welcome. Our room had an amazing balcony overlooking a quiet, beautiful part of the riverwalk. The rain shower made it hard to stop showering and the bed made it hard to stop sleeping. They had a happy hour with delicious sangria and music in the lounge too. The people that work there were all so nice and helpful, like Heidi that was working the desk the night we stayed. Highly recommend!
Service was excellent. The balcony with river view was amazing and they extended our check out time with no problem. The location is prefect for a night out with easy Uber and river access. Highly recommend!
From the second the valet service opened the door for us when we arrived to the last few steps at The Westin, we felt so warm, welcomed and accommodated. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The entire hotel was immaculate including the room. I left all of my bathroom items behind and panicked when I realized it since we live in Houston. I called The Westin and was directed to Courtney in security. He went to our room, retrieved all of my items I left, and shipped it the second we got off the phone. I received all my items and opened them to be wrap up in bubble wrap to protect my belongings. I can't thank him enough for how much he helped me. We will definitely be back and we will be recommending The Westin to everyone we know!
If any of you guys are looking for dirt cheap hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site. Fantastic experience. It was the classic Westin stay, great location, great room, great restaurant/bar, and attentive staff. The staff at the business center, Ingrid, made my day and was by far the best experience that I've had when dealing with a hotel business center.
My fiance and I had an issue. We called 2 hours after check out because he left his buckle jeans and shirt hanging in our room. They had already been stolen, by a staff member, and the hotel insurance claimed it wasn't their responsibility nor did they seem to be concerned that one of their employees stole. I'm disgusted and will never stay there again because of their lack of concern as to where those expensive clothes disappeared to.
Fantastic experience. It was the classic Westin stay, great location, great room, great restaurant/bar, and attentive staff. The staff at the business center, Ingrid, made my day and was by far the best experience that I've had when dealing with a hotel business center.
This hotel is tremendous. They took great care of my family during our stay here. Emily Aguillon was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely encourage you to stay at this hotel when I'm San Antonio.
Worse experience ever. Had property stolen from car and hotel gm, bill petrella will not do anything to acknowledge the situation or make it right. Do not stay at this hotel. If I could rate it below a 1 I would. Getting the hotel removed from our company travel policy.
Good location. The parking garage as well as any lots close to the hotel were full so we were left with no other option than to pay $40 for valet parking. Our room was next to the service room on the 14th floor. We were up all night listening to all kinds of sounds coming from this service room. The service desk wasn't very helpful.
We had our company Christmas party in one of the Westin's event rooms and we were blown away! The atmosphere was fantastic, the service was excellent and the team members made our experience worth while. We are so thankful we chose the Westin for our celebration. A huge thank you to Tobias Jimeuez and his team for serving us and taking care of us so well.
It was the worst hotel I ever been to the room was average but extremely over priced, Wi-Fi wasn't included on a room that costed 300 dls and the rates were nuts but that's not the worst part the bed and the pillows were horrible so uncomfortable that I probably spend more time awake than sleeping, overall don't ever ever come to this place not worth the money try anything anything else.
Thank you to the staff for finding me a place to pump! I am a nursing mother who was not staying at the hotel, but was visiting for a conference. Destinee and her manager went above and beyond to find a comfortable, private place for me to pump twice while I was there for my meeting. Thank you.
The staff at the Westin were fantastic. I felt like the helped make my meeting a big success, from Jimmy Mena, Jason K, Roger R, Chris A, and Julio C making sure the meeting was going well, to Jorge, Armondo, and Veronica making sure the room and food was great, everything was splendid! I cannot express enough gratitude for how wonderfully smooth this meeting went. Thank you, Janie for assigning such wonderful staff to me. Also, the rest of the staff exhibited fantastic customer service including the young lady at the Starbucks coffee counter and check-in with Jr. Vasquez, Destinee, and Maria for making my room feel like a home away from home.
This was probably the worst hotel experience ever. The manager was rude, could not give me the general managers card. Beside that 14th floor smelled like must. The showers are either freezing cold or scolding hot. Pool was nice but watch out ordering a 12 Oz daiquiri for $15.35 with tax. The bar was ok if you like waiting 45 minutes for a drink and we were told to sit at our table and order there not st the bar. These were just some of the issues we had. Stayed at Dury Inn for two days prior to westin and it was excellent.

RespondVery good hotel. Very good rooms. At the foot of the riverwalk. Very good attention. The price less than others in its class. But they charge us 30. By parking. + internet.
