Where do I start? This place was absolutely filthy. Probably the grossest hotel we ever checked into. We stayed at 6 Hiltons throughout Texas in 2 weeks and this place was not even livable. We were supposed to stay 5 nights but couldn’t bear more than 1 and even then we only stayed one night because we checked in late and had a young child with us. Every piece of furniture in the lobby is heavily soiled. One of the main elevators was broken, with no signage for warning. The door nearly crushed my foot going in (no sensor) and when we finally got in to go up, it didn’t move. We tried it 3 times. The staff was wonderful and transferred us to a different room and they were very empathetic but the second room was just as gross it seems as though they know how filthy the place is but they try their best to pacify the guests otherwise. We also never used the valet parking but we were charged for it afterward! My husband had to call to remedy the situation after we got a bill. The entire experience was awful and we really aren’t even picky people. We are easy going and understanding and never expect perfection but this place was so far below a hotel standard we won’t forget it. I have attached just a few photos of the place.

Overall a Nice place, nice staff. Huge ink stain on the carpet. But the indoor pool looks like it hasn’t been cleaned all year. 🤢 green water. Guess I brought the bikini for nothing. One positive is that it’s only a block to The Alamo and the famous Riverwalk.

The hotel location is great. However, we were less than satisfied with a few things during our stay. 1) I checked in using my Hilton Honors App and selected my room the day before we arrived. Upon arrival, I had a note on my Digital Key to see the front desk. When I walked up to the front desk, a child was sitting there in a chair. He greeted me and told me his name and he'd go get someone to help me. A lady emerged and didn't even greet me as a HH member nor gave me the usual free bottle of water. She seemed to be more concerned with finishing up her conversation with another employee who was ending their shift. I told her that I'd already checked in, selected room, and requested a digital key. When she handed me room key cards, it was for another room number. I inquired about it bc I didn't select that room. I didn't make any further fuss about it, I just went on. 2) The entire weekend one or more of the 3 elevators were not in service. Therefore, there were long wait times to get on the crowded elevator with guests with no masks on. I understand that masks aren't required but these are complete strangers and cases are on the rise again. 3) Once we arrived at the room, I found a used towel hanging on the shower head. This made me question the cleanliness of the entire room. I'm glad that I packed my own cleaning and disinfecting products to sanitize the room. The room was crowded with furniture and was very dated. There were stains on the carpet.

Very dirty and multiple issues with room as in tub would not drain, ac vent leaking on carpet and huge water stain as we walked in room…trash cans on lobby floor were overfilled with trash and after 8 hours still not locked up, leaking onto floor around trash, doors being held open in hallways with wash rags…. Have stayed here for over 5 years and this will be the last! We took pictures of everything in disbelief of how trashy it is here now.

Great staff they made me feel like home. They decorated my room with balloons🙃🥰😎🤩 and goodies I LOVED IT!

This place was disgusting! San Antonio was our last stop on our cross country trip, and the worst hotel experience of the entire trip. It was dirty, smelled like cigarette smoke, the toilet didn’t work, stains all over the carpet, stains on the divider curtain in between the bed and the couch, stains on the couch, and a nasty stain on the lamp shade, and a pubic hair on the washcloth I tried to dry my hands with! I didn’t want my children touching a single surface of this gross place. We went down and asked for another room and they were “sold out”. There was only one person working in the entire building so we couldn’t even get someone to clean our room. We checked out and moved to the Emily Morgan and it was so much nicer. Run far, far away from this nasty hotel!

Beware — this hotel is a dump. No indoor pool, no hot breakfast, lobby lights turned out at night, never a manager, elevator broken, sliding door to street broken, room bedding and couch filthy, no manager ever able to be found, just truly awful. I never write reviews but please, do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel.

Very nice place to stay. Is closes of everything. The staff were very knowledgeable.

Bought the stay at Bookings. Con… it said that it had an indoor pool and hot breakfast with some limitations. Also that private parking was available for $25/day.
Day 1. Arrived, they said that booking. Com was wrong and parking was $37 and he couldn’t adjust it. Also pool was closed which is ok based on COVID. We didn’t want to leave the car outside so I agreed to pay. Went to the room and connecting the cables for charging the phones we had a short circuit in the outlet. Called front desk, they reset the breaker and didn’t even checked the outlet.
Day 2. Went down for breakfast. No hot breakfast available, just a bag with water, an apple and a granola bar. Went out, came back and left the car in valet again, rest. When leaving and requested for the car, they said they lost part of the key and couldn’t turn on the car. They got someone to make a new key but were trying to say they they were helping because it was not their fault. We took the car and left it in an outside parking.
Day 3. There was a note saying room service needed to be requested. So, I went to the front desk so they could do service. I was told we were not in the list for schedule service and they couldn’t do it. I asked for towels and trash bags. I took the trash out and had to pickup the towels after 4 requests (9:30am, 12:00pm and 2:15pm).
Day 4. Check out was ok and the valet price was changed to $25.

Doesn’t live up to the Hilton brand reputation. Pros: the room itself was decent. However, unfortunately the cons far outweigh the quality of the room. Cons: I booked what was listed as a Riverwalk river-view room with balcony. You could see about 10 feet of the riverwalk from the room, complete false advertising. I ran the ac on the lowest setting the entire stay and the room never got below 71 degrees on the thermostat and felt warmer. The hotel is dog friendly which I have no issue with at all, but dogs were barking and fighting in the lobby and on my floor incessantly the entire stay and the hotel staff did nothing about it. The fitness center has limited hours of operation, supposedly due to Covid-19, but if you are limiting the number of people who can be in there at one time why would you then also have to drastically limit the hours it is open? Additionally, they don’t tell you the limited hours at check-in. The hours are 8-5 prohibiting any person who works normal work hours from using it at all and I did not find this out until I returned from work one day really wanting to workout and was told it was closed. I went to the little food pantry one evening wanting a snack and drink and it was COMPLETELY empty with the exception of three cans of Campbell’s tomato soup and a couple diet cokes and diet dr peppers. Everything else barren. Valet staff was extremely polite, but in-house staff was rude and attitudes.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Only a block to the Riverwalk, nice room, friendly employees, good breakfast. Only down was the parking… which was stated in their online information. We just paid for valet which worked perfectly.

Customer service is great and the hotel is very clean.

Says NON smoking but clearly not. Out entire suite smelled of smoke. All they did was offer to put deodorizer. Did not offer to change rooms. Smell was so bad my eyes were watering.

My room stayed warm and the thermostat was placed on a block where I could not adjust it. Management sent a fan to my room by a staff member who said to me in a condescending manner, "We had to take this fan from the kitchen, I hope you can get cooled off now. " Also, the water pressure in the shower was very low and it took forever to rinse the shampoo out of my hair.

Let me start off by saying, the location to downtown is great. The front desk has been great to work with and very helpful. With that being said, I do not understand why their room a/c controls are set at 70 degrees. To come in from the sun and sit in a warm room is not fun. Other hotels/motels give you the opportunity to decide how cold you really want your room to be, so why can’t this one?

Immaculate, spacious suites… This place is perfect for family and extended family meet ups. The Riverwalk is a less than five minute walk. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and there’s a Walgreens across the street.

We absolutely love staying here! Breakfast is amazing and Nola always makes sure we are always taken care of! Can’t wait to come back! Staff is awesome, room are clean and spacious, highly recommended!

The customer service at this hotel is top notch! Friendly, helpful staff — especially the front desk & breakfast area. Ellie & crew were amazing! Blossom, both Jennifer’s were unbelievably wonderful!

Excellent! Awesome service! Amenities are superior (fridge, dishes, garbage disposal, dish washer large screen t. V. Coffee/tea machine, iron/board, blow dryer)! Super clean, quiet excellent location! I will not stay any where else! I have stayed at many hotels, but this place beats them all! Excellent restaurants in walking distance!

Was greeted by friendly staff, and they provided some snacks for us upon checking in. Room was clean and comfortable. Apples were always available in a basket on the counter. We missed the complimentary breakfast the next morning so one of the staff heated up a few breakfast sandwiches for us and she asked us if we would like anything else. Would stay here again, definitely awesome service!

So happy with the place! The manager, Sandy, checked us in. She was very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect with a great view of downtown (we got a corner room on the 8th floor). The pool is a bit small but was nice and private. It was the perfect place to stay downtown San Antonio on our anniversary.

4 stars based on the wonderful ladies that went out of their way to make the kids chocolate chip waffles (and then deliver them so that I didn't have to walk away from my toddlers). The lady at the front desk was also very sweet. I had some trouble with room cleanliness and lack of toiletries, but the issue was taken care of to my satisfaction by Hilton customer service.

Beware! Pet charge $75 plus county tax and state tax on that pet charge. Parking fee $31 plus sales tax on that fee. Room charge plus county tax plus state tax. Upon checking out for one night stay with a tiny dog, your receipt will have 8 charges! Not so terrible if they would have told me up front… and if the receptionist would have been professional and courteous. Won’t recommend and won’t return.

Hot Breakfast options were nasty. The rooms were sweet. That waffle lady DOES NOT PLAY. Do not touch her waffle iron. She will be right back to make you a PERFECT waffle. Also, tip her. She cleans everything for breakfast and works hard. Also, tip your housekeeping and be kind to the staff. You just traveled far and everyone is always grumpy and tired. It wears people down. Be the nice ones to these guys. They are literally here for you and want you to be happy. Give them kindness and I’d bet they’ll go the extra mile for you because it’s rare that people are nice to hotel staff. Hey you, yeah you viewing this making a decision about where to stay. Stay here. Across the street has breakfast that will blow your mind. Get their early to beat the line out of the door.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great value considering the amenities in the room. The location is amazing, quick walk to plenty of restaurants and entertainment. The pool is on the small side if that is your thing but you would be steps from the river walk so why spend your time swimming at the hotel?

Very nice place to stay in San Antonio. Just a block away from the river walk, close to great coffee, food and the beautiful Majestic Theater. I wouldn't bother with the breakfast; there is a fantastic bakery right across the street. Room was not fancy, but nice enough.

Stayed for a week. The people were friendly but the room was subpar (no fan in the bathroom, mold in shower, some kind of noise from something over the bed). The valet lost my car key. Our view was cool and we liked the places in walking distance. Breakfast was good.

Our room was great! … very clean great view of Downtown and indoor heated pool. The staff was very kind, professional, and attentive. The rooms have a small kitchen with everything you need to stay comfortably and not have to eat out all the time. I will definitely stay again.

All in all, a nice hotel. Staff was helpful. Valet attendants very friendly (maybe trying to compensate for the over priced nightly fee, yet they don’t work for Hilton directly). Very firm beds if that’s your kind of thing and for a king bed you get only 2 pillows. They advertise their iHome docking station/alarm as a feature, however they went obsolete over 5 years ago due to the old connectors. I always stay at Hilton branded hotels, this particular location just doesn’t meet the level quality of others in their brand.

Loved it the staff was great breakfast was great just needed more coffee pots great service overall even for a holiday weekend.

Customer service was awesome. The ladies that worked the breakfast are super nice. Our suite was very nice. The valets are the best. I will be staying there my nextrip to San Antonio.

Wonderful sized rooms, beds were comfortable. Quiet and peaceful. Staff were kind and greeted me each time they saw me. The in room refrigerator was a little nosiey, but nothing I was not able to deal with. We had a small mix-up at the end, the original front desk clerk lost my tax deductible form, but we worked it out in the end. I would stay again! Super close to the waterway!

The hotel staff was really AWESOME! Jennifer at the front desk provided some great advice for dining and sightseeing! The breakfast staff really goes out of their way to make waffles for you. The hotel is only a couple blocks from the Alamo and the river walk with a Walgreens just across the street and a starbucks about two blocks away. Overall, a great ace to stay.

Clean room, but oddly laid out. Long and narrow. Bathroom was opposite side of bedroom. No hotel parking, but they have valet parking and there is a city garage about a block away.

Such an awesome building and rooms that look like old apartments. Ours had a little kitchen and a curtain to separate the living room from bedroom. The people were nice enough, but the microwave didn't work and they couldn't fix it. When we brought them some of our bags to keep while we explored the town, the lady just left them sitting out, unattended for hours because she was "busy", until I made her out them in the closet. The pool is itty bitty. Perfect for about 3 kids, but really warm, and doubles as a whirlpool. The chlorine level was too high though. Breakfast is interesting here… not amazing. Everything is in little packages that you put in microwaves for coded times. There was a super nice lady working the waffle machine for everyone. She called her self the waffle queen from new orlean. ^_^ overall, a great stay. I believe they gave us back our points since the microwave didn't work.

Great location. Great staff especially the valets. 2 things weren't in point. The pool was kind of dirty. You couldn't see your hand in front of your face even with goggles. The microwave breakfast was less than impressive.

I would not return to this hotel. Our bedding was not clean. Blood on the sheet/blanket as well as something orange. When the front desk was told they acted like they didn't care. I also believe they have bedbugs. Didn't see them but had bites. I was actually afraid to look.

It was a pleasant stay in the middle of San Antonio. The location was excellent, very close to the riverwalk and a fifteen minute walk to the convention center. The hotel room was clean and neat. It had a kitchenette, with a refrigerator, microwave, and a dishwasher. There was no dresser in the room though. Breakfast was included, but was very meager. Parking was not included. Packing is available very close, and it's ten dollars a day. If you are parked there for more than two days, then "lose" you ticket because the lost ticket price is $18. Service was very good. And the price was comparatively very good for the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel, clean and very good location just steps from the River Walk.

Great location (close to the action at the riverwalk and the Alamo and walking distant to the market, tower, and other sites) and exceptional customer service all around. Your breakfast lady was a joy to be around. You could tell she truly enjoyed her job and made sure everyone was well fed and happy.

The service was excellent and the room was much better than I expected.

Room is nice but shower has weak water pressure. Breakfast is nothing to write home about. They were in the process of upgrading their wireless network during my stay but they did not notify me. They only put notices out after several complaints to the front desk. The handling and customer service was lacking for that specific issue. Also, the valet/door men were not that helpful and welcoming. They didn't really greet me and felt like they were more focused on their own conversation.

The hotel is nice and very well located. You can walk to several places like riverwalk, The Alamo, market square and others… Breakfast area is very small badly planned. If the hotel is packed, you will wait 30-60 in line to get some pancakes and toasted bread. If you don’t care for breakfast and if you are looking for a great 3 stars hotel, this one is for you. DON’T use their expensive valet service, they charge around 30 dollars per day. There is a huge public parking in front of the hotel for less than 10 dollars and you will easily find spots. This hotel take pets and they will charge you for that.

Not the greatest ever, but good enough. It's in a really. It's in a really nice location relative to everything downtown. If you are staying as a young family as we are, the pool is really small and the air and water with the salt water are really abrasive. We all had coughing and sneezing fits. The breakfast area is buffet style with only side open so the line gets long quickly and easily. Overall, the rooms are nice and the kitchenette is a nice touch. We would recommend it depending on the price relative to other hotels downtown.

The best two things this place has going for it is the nice sized rooms, a refrigerator foe leftovers, and proximity to the river walk, i. E. Other places. Otherwise it's barely mediocre. The lobby and rooms are mostly clean enough but everything feels like it could be cleaner — stains on the floors, rugs not vacuumed, etc. Also, the breakfast scene is ridiculous. I'm standing in line as I type this. There are 30, yes, 30 people in front of me trying to get their free breakfast. Yesterday they didn't have coffee. When I asked they explained that they didn't make any because people take coffee cups to their rooms and don't return them. What?! The staff was friendly but no one seemed able to think outside the box. I'd rather spend a couple more bucks to go somewhere else.

One of the nicest and most private hotels I've had the pleasure of visiting. Right in the center of town, across from a pretty park with a dog area. Pet friendly is a huge thing for me, so it was great that they provided this as well as valet parking. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

Nice rooms with comfy beds. The valets were the best and so worth the money! Customer service was great and they helped in every way they could. Breakfast was also yummy so don't let the appearance fool you. Everyone we encountered in San Antonio was fabulous. Short walk to everything. Will definitely stay again.

Great Stay! Very close to River Walk and front desk was very nice. They even offered suggestion for dining because we had kids. Indoor pool clean, breakfast fair (and FREE). Rooms spacious and bed comfortable. Parking is $31, however garage next door $10 for 24 hours. If we visiting again this stay is on the list.

I'd give it zero stars if I could. I booked my two queen bed room well in advance and even pre-checked in the day before. I went as far as to select my room ahead of time. After a day of traveling with 3 kids, we arrive at the hotel to learn that our room had been given away. Yes, given away with no other rooms available except a one bed room. No real concern from the front desk either… just a "we accidentally gave your room away" speech. Hilton will never get my business again if this is how they treat their rewards members.

Usually stay for a couple of weeks at a time. Front desk is staffed 24/7. Hotel staff always welcoming and friendly. Although here for business, it is a great place for families. Walking distance to the Alamo and other San Antonio destinations.

The staff at Home Suites was as pleasant — or more so — as anywhere we have ever stayed. However, just because the Hilton name is attached Do Not Be Fooled! If you want weekend room service there is a sign in your room informing guest must request such service. The pillows were lumps and the king size bed uncomfortable. Indeed there is an efficiency kitchen. But my idea of a suite isn't the sofa at the end if the bed. Online photos do not portray the room set up. So we left 2 days early!

Great extended stay suite! Super clean, smells fresh & clean! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The young men & women that were working as valets are a fountain of information. We had a smoking suite, which was fab, my only complaint is there is no ventilation to help remove the smoke (yes even smokers don't like a smoke filled room), but housekeeping staff was great, and provided a smoke neutralizing spray. Would have been great to be able to open a window to air out the room. That is my only critique. For nonsmokers, you will never know that smoking is allowed in any area of this hotel. There is no "reeking" of cigarettes that you can smell in any area. Great hotel, great people, great city!

Excellent service, and a room well laid out. Hotel staff were in particular always ready and more importantly, able to help. The suite itself was well appointed, and could easily have accommodated a traveler for a month if needs be.

Its a beautiful and very nice place! Newer interior and updated things inside! The staff is very nice and helpful. Always on it if something is needed. Has a very respectful staff and I will definitely be coming back.

Pros. The location is amazing. The staff is very nice. Beds are very comfy The rooms are very large for what you pay for Cons. The shower is so weak that I think I would get a better shower standing under a mister. The bathroom feels cheap and an afterthought. The breakfast is as bad as a microwave meal.

Great location, our rooms are superb and the staff outstanding. Great service and the wonderful people that made our stay amazing were Erika and William! Will definitely be back! Oh the breakfast was good and free!

Great hotel. Service was fast and courteous. Rooms were well stocked with extra blankets and pillows. The continental breakfast was the best by far with buckwheat waffles and various options. Looking forward to staying in here again on my next trip.

My family had reservations to stay for 2 nights, show up on the day of rsvp and am told we have no room. Hotel was overbooked and it didn't matter that we had a reservation/confirmation #. Kicked to the curb, very dissatisfied with this location, would never recommend/will never go back.

Not great, not bad. The King room was fairly spacious but the bathrooms in the rooms are definitely nothing to brag about. The breakfast isn't nearly as bad as other reviews I've seen have made it out to be. It was serviceable. The pool is really small so hopefully nobody else wants to swim while you do. Decent place.

Great hotel! Loved the room and location. Wished there was a hot tub though and breakfast was too crowded with not enough food, but still enjoyed our visit!

Nice, clean, comfortable room. Comfortable bed. Pillows are chunk foam filled and not comfortable for me. I really appreciate the kitchenette with 3/4 size refrigerator (almost as tall as me), microwave, dishwasher and dishes. The staff is cheerful and ready to help. I would stay here again!

Everyone was very nice. The problem we had was put of there control. The a/c was down on the whole floor. It was the way they handled it. We were not happy. Sleeping in 80 degree plus temperatur when you've been hot all day is not enjoyable.

This is ridiculous, 2nd day without water at Home2 Suites by Hilton San Antonio Downtown — Riverwalk, TX, on top of that I got charge again for a room I prepaid the morning front desk agent told me that's because I didnt pay when I have an statement saying it was paid 4/20 a month ago. Im paying over $500 dlls for 4 nights for a hotel without water and a really bad customer service, I can expect that form a cheap chain but really Hilton? get your act together and care about your guests. Is not acceptable to have to walk 2 blocks to go to another hotel to take a shower, or to go to the restaurant next door (the palm) to use the bathroom. I need someone to contact me to see how my issue will be fix since the hotel manager is not even there to help. (according to the front desk agent) if she is not there then that tells you she doesn't care about the guests when her Hotel is in an emergency situation.

Great stay, the hotel is right on the riverwalk. You cant see the river but you are literally 1 block from the riverwalk. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very well maintained. Ask for the higher floors for better view. Great deal for the price.

A very strong budget offering directly in the middle of downtown San Antonio that doesn't feel in the least bit budget. The staff is consciously attentive and the lodging is excellent. Suites are VERY nicely appointed with some great little touches. Complimentary breakfast was the usual ordinary American fare, but the hotel handles the large crowd well. Parking was not ideal and very expensive, but downtown San Antonio is expensive and crowded, so the valet cost was somewhat understandable.

I recently stayed at this hotel. It was very comfortable and beautiful rooms. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. The only reason I didnt give the hotel 5 stars is we had to wait an hour and a half for valet parking but it was handled by the hotel staff very professionally. Ashton was very professional and I will definitely be back to see her!

We were in a suite where six of us stayed. The room a great size. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We had an employee bring extra blankets and pillows. He was very nice and helpful. The location was downtown San Antonio. The stay was enjoyable.

Good rates for the area. Clean all around, 0 issues there. Breakfast was decent, a small buffet would be desirable as opposed to the self-heating method, but whatever. Comfortable beds and nice staff. Can't really ask for anything more.

Nice rooms great view from the 14th floor right down the street from the night life in San Antonio. Exellent stay.

Overall it seem like a good Suite. The staff are very friendly. However, when checking into my room, the beds had hair all in the sheets. But they were quick to get us new sheets. My mom room was good. Breakfast time can get a little crazy and they shut done quick. It's pet friendly which is a plus. If your a simple person and want to be near the riverwalk and walking distance to everything. This is your place.

I really like this hotel. The suites are super awesome. Our room was large and spacious. There was a really nice desk and a pull out working table. There was also a nice sized kitchenette with plates and everything. There is not hot plate, so you better bake whatever you are interested in the microwave/convection oven. There is a breakfast served everyday from 6 am to 9 am. It is your typical continental style breakfast. It is nice. Fresh coffee is available all day long. The hotel was fairly quiet. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Stayed here a couple of times for business trips. Rates are within govt per diem, which is nice considering it's downtown and very close to the riverwalk. Rooms are very spacious (they are suites), but I was a bit surprised some of them don't have dressers for storing clothes. The kitchenette is well equipped with dishes, fridge, microwave, etc. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, with most of the offerings prepackaged egg sandwiches and such. You can cook your own waffles, which seems very common. They have free Wi-Fi, but the bandwidth is throttled. You can upgrade that for an additional charge, but the free Wi-Fi is sufficient for VPN connections and checking email. Overall it is a pretty decent place, particularly if you want a kitchenette. Otherwise you can probably find something comparably priced in the area, but with better breakfast options.

Bad choice for this hotel. When I made the reservation I had picked both rooms right next to each other and was confirmed about it thru the hotel. When I arrived, I didnt get the rooms that I requested but they put one room on the 3rd floor and the other on the 11th floor… They didnt clean 1 room but clean the other. When cleaning the room they didnt put new towels for me. Small very small breakfast place. Not coming back here for my next visit.

Loved this hotel. I had a King Suite on the 4th floor which appears to be the biggest room in the place. Full kitchen with plates, bowls, silverware, glasses and a dishwasher to clean them.

The floors were sticky and when I asked it be clean they told me that two days previous that the room was flooded with water from the bathroom — YUCK! I was walking on dried sewage in bare feet for a few minutes before I called! What the heck! Not only that but they over charged me and told me it was a hold on my account when it was a transaction and refused to help me. I had to call my bank and report a fraudulent purchase and it's going to take me two weeks to get it back so my bank account is at 0 right now for that long. I'm flat broke so I can't buy food, pay my bills or drive to work. I have nothing and I have no idea how I am going to make it and all because of this hotel I stayed in. I've called and begged them to help but the manager doesn't seem bothered by it at all and is very flippant with me. Needless to say, no matter how much fun it was staying in San Antonio I wont be going back there. Not unless it's at a different hotel who I can trust not to rob me blind because they can.

Was not able to stay at this hotel as the ADA compliant room I needed was not available under the employee rate. Maybe next time! Thanks for trying anyway Ben! :)

The Good Furnishings – very pleasant furnishings and appearance. Large rooms with high ceilings and (in my room on the corner of the 11th floor) plenty of light from windows made for a spacious feeling. Full kitchenette. Special recognition of the desk chair, which is one of the few which would adjust high enough that I was at the proper height to type on my laptop. Staff – very friendly and accommodating, from the front desk, to the housecleaning staff, to the breakfast crew. Breakfast – I was afraid they were going to charge extra for a hot meal, but the included breakfast was pretty good. I hope you like whole wheat and egg whites. Location – right downtown, one block away from the Riverwalk. Fairly easy to get in and out of town once you figure out the side streets. The Bad The water pressure in the shower was distinctly underwhelming, even considering that the head is probably low-flow. There is no such thing as a quick shower since it takes a while for that trickle to wash off the soap. One other minor annoyance – the difference between tepid water and scalding was about a half a degree turn on the knob, and heaven forbid someone else on the same line as you flushed a toilet while you were in the shower. Speaking of the bathroom, a shout out to the colony of little tiny ants which live on the 11th floor. They weren’t a big deal in the bathroom, but I took exception to one of them using my arm as a highway across my bed at 2 AM.

My husband and I check-in on Thursday stayed until Sunday. I was so impress with Sandy Rios that went out of her way to help us the minute we got there help us with our reservation. Sandy was on top of the game. There was a young lady name Carmen that went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Even the VALET parking the employee was on top of the game to. We loved everything about our stay. We brought our dog and wasn't sure how it would go. There is a dog park a block away and my husband loved the snack cart that is there so there was never a problem with him taking him. The staff was always friendly and the valet was always helpful. So close to everything. Loved it!

We paid $220 for the night we stayed plus $30 for the required valet parking. Room stayed hot. We were on the 8th floor. I was told when I called that they had a pool. It was tiny and had HOT water. They should tell people they have a large hot tub and NOT a pool. Pillows were too soft. We usually stay at hotels that have pillows on each bed that are labled "firm" and "soft" — — — not here. The shower did not get very hot and had no pressure. The breakfast area is too small to accommodate the amount of people in the hotel.

The staff is very courteous especially the valet if I were to stay again in San Antonio I will definitly use Home2 Suites cause of them! The rooms are always clean no issues thank you so much.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and it was wonderful! We had always been staying at La Quinta Inn everytime we go to San Antonio, but after this visit this hotel is going to be my main one everytime I go to that city. Sandy was very helpful and nice and I appreciate everything about my stay! THANK YOU SANDY.

We stayed there for my daughter's wedding, it was only one night in January, but a very enjoyable stay. This is going to be our second stay for Fiesta Fun, this time for 3 nights.

This place is horrible! I have been skating for 3 years and I have never been to a worse place in my life! The workers were rude. And the floor was wet I couldn't even forward skate. I was really disappointed. It's a waste of money and a terrible place. The rollercade is better.

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel and fell in love with the staff and then my room. 2 queen beds, cutest kitchen, felt like I was in a studio apt. Anytime Im going to San Antonio this is where I will lay my weary head! Very convenient to riverwalk and shopping! Suzanne Phillips.

This was our second stay at a Home2 Suites, and our first time at this location. The building is beautiful and the location is ideal; we loved being able to walk to dinner on the Riverwalk. The rooms are comfortable and well-furnished. It's wonderful being able to cook a real meal in your hotel while traveling, and clean up by just loading the dishwasher. We appreciated that they accommodated smokers, and I'm sure the non-smokers appreciate that all their smoking rooms are on the top floor. The view of the city was gorgeous. Their free breakfast is more expansive than most, lots of options, and lots of healthy options like oatmeal, fruit, and granola as well as the usual waffles and eggs. We also love that they are more eco-friendly than most hotels: they have recycling bins as well as trash cans; the body wash and shampoo are dispensed from pumps so we're not filling landfills with tiny plastic bottles; the toilets are the water-conserving kind. I really can't overstate how comfortable this place is. Even the one-king-sized-bed room had a pull-out couch and was pre-furnished with extra bedding and pillows. I can see why they're such a popular choice for families. For everything you get for your money, they're really a great deal. The only reason I'm rating 4 stars instead of 5 was because valet was $25 and they didn't have a parking garage, so you're going to have to pay for any kind of parking, but that's pretty standard for downtown.

We get there Valet is Rude, Blood in the Elevator, then are room was 78 degrees. Kat on the night shift help and got us a different room but we had to share a bed and gave us a fan to help cool down. Beds are hard, showers are small. Then Breakfast in the morning was crazy not organized keep running out of stuff and waiting for them to refill OJ was Hot very HOT. Then next night they call at 3am to ask if they can have the fan back for someone else. Only thing is hotel is in great locating and most the staff is polite and Kitchen in the Room is Great.

We stayed June 25, 2014 for 4 nights. This place was awesome! The staff was always so very helpful and sweet to us. They helped with suggestions of where to go eat, directions, etc. The location was FABULOUS! Perfect place for the price. The rooms were clean, the cleaning staff CARED about your well-being, making sure you had everything you needed. Everything we wanted was within a few minutes from us. The only thing I would consider giving it a 4 star was because the indoor pool was very very small (there is no outdoor pool). The other reason I might have given it 4 stars was because the 3 elevators did not all work. Only 1 worked properly and the traffic to go up and down was ridiculous (we were on the 7th flr). They have 3 elevators and only 1 worked properly. The 2nd one would only work 1/2 of the time if we were lucky. The 3rd one had a sign that said it was out or order for maintance repairs. (remember I said we stayed for 5 days). The Hilton should care enough to fix those minor issues. Other than the elevator and inside small pool, the hotel was a MUST to stay at AND I WILL BE RETURNING! Forgot to mention the kitchen area and the FULL size fridge with icebox was PERFECT.

Hi I highly recomend this hotel it was amazing the stayin the people that works there is so kind and nice specialy sandy front desk from 7am to 3 pm and also Robert on the nite shift so when u in san Antonio thanks sandy for been so nice with who ever go's there.
