Good hotel for a good price. Easy access from the highway. Room was a good size and had nice amenities. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast!

Clean, comfortable, newer (not new) building. Friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly. We didn't have our dogs, but a lot of people did. Good breakfast to start the day. Great place to stay. Highly recommend.

Look — my family and I had to come up with a list of the things that went wrong with this stay there were so many. First, our keycards did not work two nights in a row. Second, our room wasn't even cleaned. When we mentioned this to the front desk, they told us they'd get us clean towels but didn't tell us it would be 11 PM. The breakfast was lackluster. People doing drugs in the parking lot. The hallways smelled. There are no Exit signs posted by one of the exits — surely a fire hazard. Sure, this place is pet-friendly — but at what cost? This place is way too expensive considering that it can't even clean the rooms. Go somewhere else. This was seriously disappointing.

I had a lovely experience here, the rooms were clean and beautiful. I have to say they have one of the best and coolest bed I've seen in a while, which to be Frank was not expected. I'm disappointed on the selection of breakfast, but overall I think it's a wonderful place to stay.

I had to stay here for business. I would never stay here again. Dogs barking, people playing loud music, people slamming doors and running down the halls, and groups of people outside talking extremely loud. The pool looked as if it had not been cleaned in a while. One room that they tried to put my coworker in looked like a murder scene (and possibly could have been one). My room key stopped working. I had carried a bunch of stuff up. I had to wait 25 minutes for them to bring me a key that would let me in the room. The gym smelled like it was never clean. A rape happened at the red roof inn next door. I found hair in my sink and bathtub that did not belong to me (not even the same color). I found trash in my room that was not mine. I had to stay 5 nights and it was literal hell. I also found ticks at the hotel. Never again will I stay at this hotel. I will make the long commute first. I couldn't post this unless I gave them at least one star. But they really deserve none.

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great… it was a full hot/cold buffet… the only thing I would change is maybe have a specific floor just for those who have pets. Every room is pet friendly and the housekeeping leaves something to be desired… pet hair everywhere.

Staff was friendly and inviting. Breakfast was decent and always clean. Rooms where fantastic. But the tub is small. And my biggest concern… the Wi-Fi isnt worth a damn. Completely terrible connection and I was on the 1st floor. Was here for 17 days. Every day. Awful. Other than that. It was a great stay.

Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Relatively cheap and close to downtown. Would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for the dogs barking on our floor.

Accommodating. Sarah was very helpful when I was in dire straits due to my RV still being repaired. I was on vacation traveling through TN when a Semi truck threw a retread that under my coach causing severe damage. Sarah worked with me on a late checkout so I would have somewhere to be with my family and service dog while the shop was finishing up repairs on my RV. Just awesome. Thank you Sarah.

Nice but not as up to date as most.

First time ever here. Disappointed to say the least woke up at 6:30 am by a dog barking in a room close to ours and then our 6 year old brings us a pill adderall pill that someone left behind. Dangerous!

I liked it. The rooms were clean and the housekeepers even found some jewelry I didn't even realize I had lost yet! They left it on my bed for me. They always had fresh coffee ready too, which is saying a lot, since I was staying for a work trip and had to be up and out at 3 AM. The staff was really helpful and nice as well. The location of the hotel is great too. You can jump on the highway and be wherever pretty quickly. Highly recommend!

Shocked to find this brand of hotel so low in every standard. Old, over painted, cracked, out of room and bath pieces that were "surface cleaned" but looked as they had not been fresh for a decade! Nice enough staff. Would never go back.

This Inn is by far one of the best pet friendly hotels we've been to. No surcharge for pets, which we really appreciated. The breakfast room was excellent quality. This is a must stop facility if you're in the area.

Very clean, well kept motel, and we were thrilled our dogs could stay without pet fees. Breakfast was also good with lots of variety. We would definitely stay here again. Comfy beds, too.

My stay at La Quinta inn & Suites in Knoxville was a very pleasant one. The place was very clean and modern. The room was well kept and supplied with a refrigerator and microwave and a nice TV. I enjoyed a very good complimentary breakfast and even though I arrived when the servers were about to clean up, I was told not to worry and to enjoy my breakfast. Service was excellent.

Great breakfast. Nice rooms and beds. The rooms smelled good. It looked like it was new or recently renovated.

After having to leave the motel we were originally going to stay in because it was disgusting, we found our way here in a Friday night with only one room available. Luckily, Robert was amazing and helped us get checked in with hardly any trouble. Everything was clean and well taking care of. The breakfast and service was great. We ended up staying an extra night because we just wasn’t ready to leave.

From the front desk and making reservations, all the way to the housekeeper, they couldn't have been a more helpful, friendly and attentive staff. Rob and Michelle greeted us with smiles everyday, and they both deserve a raise. Carmen also deserves a raise, as she kept the room flawless for us during our stay over a weeks time! It is hard to find customer service so great. Great variety @ breakfast, coffee all day at the front, pool was well kept. Easy, close, parking. Worked out in the gym too! Very pleasant stay, won't stay anywhere else when I return to knoxville! Keep up the wonderful work everyone, I hope your boss treats you guys well! If not — he/she should because it is well deserved, and he/she is hiring valuable people! The only thing I'd improve is the Wi-Fi! It really is horrible… please help it!

Hotel was nice. Room could have been more cleaner, TV control were nasty and some of of the table were not clean at all. I had to do my own cleaning lucky for me, I had my on cleaning supplies with me. Breakfast was great.

Great breakfast friendly staff would have been a five. Cars parking under entrance making it tough to drive through. Same ford suv parking there. Men's common area restroom trash can overflowing at 6:30am. Overall they have a really nice hotel room is very nice and modern no companies there at all. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The minor things I'm sure will be addressed you can tell they are putting in the effort. Hate to go home we loved our stay and the area.

If you are looking for a place to stay, look no further. Seriously, if you are staying 1 night, 2 nights or a week,, it doesn't matter, choose this La Quinta Inn and Suites. I haven't always had the best experiences with La Quinta, they honestly can seem pretty ghetto, but this one will not disappoint. I am VERY picky about customer service, not many meet up to my expectations, but they are easily a 9.1 out of 10 for customer service. Number 2, their breakfast is 100%! They are NOT like the hotels that show a picture of their breakfast bar and you see the waffle maker, so you think you'll at least be able to survive, but they end up not having one… This La Quinta knows what's up when it comes to breakfast. Not to mention the free coffee throughout the day by the front desK. I could really go on and on, that's how good a stay I had. It was AMAZING, thank you La Quinta and especially to the manager that is there running things, I'm so sorry your name escapes me, but the care you show your customers is incredible and I am very grateful to you.

We had a great experience at this hotel. We had to check-in late (11:00pm) and was able to call ahead and check-in over the phone. All I had to do when I arrived was pick up my room keys. We needed more blankets and even at that hour the staff was accommodating and brought more blankets to our room. There was plenty of area to walk our pup. The hotel was crisp and clean and the room was clean and quiet. We did not experience the breakfast. We were unaware that on a Sunday the breakfast hours were over at 9:30am. We would definitely stay at this La Quinta again in the future, if in the area.

I had to stay in this facility for almost a week due to home remodeling. We stayed there with our pets. These people went above and beyond to help me and make me comfortable. I did some special considerations due to my pets and they did everything I asked to make me comfortable. Also, every person there was friendly and kind to me, which is rare in my experience. The building is pretty new so everything is nice and clean. The breakfast is nice. Overall a good experience.

Nice breakfast, comfy beds, and an honest maintenance crew. The elevator was out when I stayed and it was broken again on the next week stay, I recommend staying away from the rear elevator. It's broken too many times.

Our room was clean, smelled fresh, bed was comfortable, room quiet. We travel with two Yorkies and the staff could not have been more pleasant. Will stay here again.

The hotel is very modern and clean. It's only two years old, so everything is very nice and up to date. There is a wonderful paved trail that is great for taking the dogs on a long walk and ample green space with dog waste stations. The room was spacious, the work desk had a comfortable chair, and the bed was very comfortable, more so than most La Quintas I have stayed at. Everyone was very friendly.

Nice newer hotel right off the interstate but still quiet. Pet friendly and NO PET FEE.

Clean with a modern feel. Breakfast was average, which was no surprise. Only 4 stars because they would not allow our group to stay in the lobby (or breakfast area) past 9, which seemed unusual, especially considering we weren't a terribly loud group.

Terrible Customer Service! I checked into room 201 next to the elevator. All night long I was kept awake by the elevator banging and humming every time it was used for any floor. In the morning the young man at front desk stated that everyone complains about that same thing in that room, WELL WHY DID YOU PUT ME IN THAT ROOM WHEN THERE ARE ONLY 10 PEOPLE STAYING AT THE HOTEL. Two girls at the front desk say they never heard that complaint and they dont think the elevator makes noise! ARE YOU KIDDING THE ELEVATOR KEPT ME UP ALL NIGHT. Would you like to come upstairs and I will show you. All they want to do here is argue with the customer! They treat the customers as if we are idiots. I have stayed in over 100 Laquinta Hotels and this one has the worst customer service. There are other reviews that say the exact same thing! The manager even argued with me and said well the front desk clerk that told you others complain about the noise in that room is new so HOW WOULD HE KNOW.? ARE YOU KIDDING NOW THE MANAGER IS TELLING ME THAT I AM CRAZY AND HER EMPLOYEE IS CRAZY ALSO! The management and the front desk service here is horrible. They knew full well room 201 is next to a very loud elevator, and nobody would want to hear that all night long! They have no professional training here, stay away from this hotel.

I RESERVED a room way ahead of time and went there in the middle of summer. Got there late in the night and my room's a/c was not working. Had to have staff member come and fix it, mentioning this was not the first time the a/c broke down. Frustrated, wanted to unwind and rest after a long drive. There was no apology, no offer for another room since every room that night was booked. The staff member said "I don't know why they rented this room out since the a/c is always broken. " After the repair, they left us a screwdriver and showed my husband where to insert the screwdriver to reset the a/c if it were to stop working again. Come on, people? Fast forward many months later, I called requesting an extra copy of a receipt from that stay for business expenses. Front desk could not help me and transferred me to the manager. The manager was rude, curt, and impatient. She stated that she was unable to retrieve the information and did not provide any other resources or solutions. She was not even apologetic. I called a few other La Quintas that I stayed at and they were helpful in retrieving the information I needed in their systems. Somehow this La Quinta is incapable of finding this information. Stay away from this place. I generally don't like leaving bad reviews but after a bad stay AND bad customer service experience, I needed to share this.

We very much enjoyed our stay here everything in the hotel was nice and clean. I really liked the layout of the room! The dog area was disgusting. Needs some serious lawn care and trash pick up. Also the back lot is very sketchy. There appeared to be an abandoned car back there.

I stayed at the la Quinta inn for a wedding 9/19. I would like to say I received excellent service especially from the front desk clerk Tabitha! Tabitha appreciate you keeping us company waiting on the shuttle! Rachel in sales made a very special meet and greet for the wedding group it was excellent. The hotel was very nice and clean definitely recommend it!

OMG We stayed at the 100% smoke free LaQuinta in Knoxville on Kirby Road. The facility was fabulous. The rooms look EXACTLY like the pictures on their website. No unpleasant surprises from pics that are years old. The beds were heavenly and the free breakfast was top notch. I had a family of four and a breakfast like that would have cost me an additional $50 so this was a true bargain. This was our first stay at a LaQuinta but it won't be our last. Our granddaughter is a student at U. T. Knoxville so we'll be visiting regularly and this LaQuinta will definitely be our go to place.

We had a wonderful stay. Tabitha at the front desk was wonderful and suggested a great restaurant. Hotel room was clean, updated and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely seek out this chain of hotels in the future.

After a long several days of driving cross country relocating to the Carolinas from Seattle, I arrived at this property late at night, worn to the bone from a 14 hour driving day. I'd happily and loyally stayed at La Quintas all along my route, but when I arrived here I was greeted in a very uncharacteristic way for LQ's — — coldly and condescendingly, by a small, sour-looking man with watery eyes and wet lips. I was quickly and unapologetically turned away because I was traveling with pets. I had with me my two highly trained, well mannered 10 lb agility dogs and my cat. No other la quinta along my route had a problem with my animals, and I made certain to mention that I had them with me when I made the reservation. Because of the callous way my reservation was mishandled at the property, I left the location in tears, and ended up driving yet another 2 more hours that night to stay with a different hotel brand that readily accommodated us. While I imagine perhaps 5 or more pets would be considered excessive, no where on the La Quinta Knoxville Central Papermill property webpage did it list a specific limit of any kind. The whole experience was both perplexing and awful. In an attempt to find another la quinta to stay at that night, I contacted la quinta's 1-800 number and even the central operator there was appalled that I was turned away.

If I could give zero stars. I would. Made a reservation. Drove all the way from Ohio for a funeral. Then had a smart Alec. Rude front desk person tell us that we did not have a reservation in a very cocky. Arrogant way. Then after he actually looked at his computer he said that the room was canceled. And then upon asking if he had another room he said his key machine was broken and basically that he could not help us. I. E. Wouldn't help us. No offer to call one of the other laquintas. No offer of help or concern. I honestly don't think I have ever seen worse customer service. I plan to file a complaint with the company. And I hope he gets fired. Because that is what he deserves.

We do not recommend this hotel to anyone! I stayed there and a staff member went into my room unauthorized and stole items and the GM lied to cover up the theft and admitted lying to the police officer who made the report. I have made several calls to their corporate office to no avail. This is an individually owned hotel and La Quinta has not even agreed to return the items or file a claim on their insurance. I was basically told that I would not get my items back. Please be aware of this shady hotel and staff and take your personal belongings to another hotel so this doesn't happen to you as well. I am shocked that La Quinta protects owners who condone employee thefts.

Awesome. Brand new hotel and close to everything. Staff is really nice plus they have a very decent breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.
