I've stayed here a handful of times now. And the staff has always been great. The breakfast is better the most. Rooms are clean. Only downgrade would be the fitness center.

I've stayed here during drill numerous times and the staff are great and hotel is very nice. Rooms are clean, modern, and large. I arrived one day without booking looking for a room for drill and they were booked up. The woman at the desk, Kelsey was amazing! She called around to Numerous hotels for me looking for a room with the rate I needed. She saved me such a hassle a d was so happy to do so.

Excellent hotel stay for two weary people. We had been helping our son & his wife move all day and were hot and ready to rest. After stopping at several hotels and finding out they were full, we had an added bonus, when we came to your hotel, of a jacuzzi tub in our room, although my husband was too tired to try it out. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was wonderful, and the shower water pressure was great. There are only a few complaints we have about the room (#217) we were in. We couldn't shut the bathroom door without it hitting the light fixture. Either the door needs to be cut off at the top, or a light fixture more flush to the ceiling installed. My husband tried to put the soap on the wire shelf inside the shower before he got in and it kept falling through to the bottom of the tub. He already has Parkinson's and balance issues and doesn't need to be bending over several times for the soap. The other issue we had was the toilet paper holder was broken and wouldn't hold the paper. We had to either put it on the floor (yuck! ) or place it on the sink, which was a bit of a stretch for my husband to reach. We would definitely stay here again if those type issues were fixed.

Stayed here for an AAU basketball tournament and my experience was awesome! The staff was very courteous, the rooms were spotless, and restaurants are within walking distance. They also recognized my elite membership. We will be back!

Nice Holiday Inn that meets expectations. It is very clean and the beds are comfortable and the air was good and fresh. Breakfast was great, love those cinnamon rolls! My critique is tough though. This one is missing the wow factor I have seen at other Holiday Inn Express. I would say the Hampton Inn behind it has wow factor, but I've found the opposite in most other markets where the Holiday Inn is the wow factor.

Absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was so good and well stocked. They will even give you a bag and let you take some on the road with you. The clerks we're so friendly and helpful. They have a nice clean pool which I did not use. They also have a fire pit with rocking chairs out front. I would absolutely stay here again.

My company booked us on this Holiday Inn Express. It is fairly new about 5 years. When you walk in it has a nice reception area with a good size sitting area for the breakfast that they serve from 6am to 930am. The breakfast was decent and something that should satisfy every need. The rooms were you typical room. Beds were a llittle hard, so if you like that it is great. The thermostat did not work. It took me two days to figure out that I could change it on the unit. If you do not have a car, it is not too close to restaurants. The waffle house is across the street but everything else is about 3/4 mile walk.

This hotel was great! The rooms were nice and the breakfast was amazing. They had eggs, potato's, pancakes, sausage, greek yogurt, and all your usual pastries.

I love this place. The staff was outstanding. The room was very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows. The indoor pool water and room could have been some what warmer. The breakfast is yet to see cause its just now 2:27am so I'll post later and let you know.

The hotel may look nice in appearance, but lacks for the the price you pay. Service of staff is lackluster and the rooms are pieces together with old furniture and shotty workmanship. Towel racks are falling apart and the shower floor drain is so poorly installed the bathroom floor and carpet outside gets soaked. There are so many LED lights in the room it took some time to get it dark in the room. Between the cable box, smoke detector, alarm clocks and TV the place was lit up like a christmas tree when we went to sleep. The desk chair in the room is so old and worn that it hurts to sit on. TV is huge and nice though.

Upon arrival, I was not given my room preference as a Gold Elite Member, but Kevin and Calvin, who were at the front desk, both very friendly and courteous, upgraded me to a King Suite. Room was spacious, very clean and there was a sitting area separate from the sleeping area with its own TV. Very comfortable bed. Also a little bar area with sink, microwave and fridge. Since this Holiday sits along Interstate I 40/75, ask for a room in the back if possible. Nice warm pool with fitness room. Business center. Typical breakfast that most Holiday Inn Express have. Keurig coffee maker in room.

It was a hotel. The refrigerator in my room was so loud it had to be unplugged, the microwave beeped randomly and also had to be unplugged, the television only worked on half the channels half the time. They do have a restaurant but I did not visit it. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and provided me with delivery restaurants in the area. Room was mostly clean, some areas in the bathroom could have been cleaner. They also have a 2 blink car chargers in the parking lot.

Super friendly staff, and super comfy beds, I always enjoy my stays at this hotel. I'm here fairly often and it's def like a second home.

This place may be clean I will give them that but it's over priced and rediculos We are here for a week the service staff for the restaurant bar seems like they would rather be somewhere else. No food after 10:00pm on a Saturday and now the bar just gives last call a little after 10:00 absolutely unexceptionable. Glad I paid you over a grand. We and I mean we over 20 different rooms will never be back. Thanks for nothing! FYI I have never reviewed anything even if it was not to my liking but this is by far the worse mannered Holiday inn ever. Broooooooooooooo!

They suck accused my husband of doing a drug deal when our son drove up to the hotel an he handed him some money for his college classes that were starting,,, HOW DARE THEY,, we had to tell our son why when we come everyother week to work here that now he has to drive across town. To see us an get his weekly allowance shame on HOLIDAY INN,,, terrible people said an employee seen us,,, ask to see the tape so we could prove it was our son,, but they said they didn't have one,, ill never go back.

The hotel is close to a lot of things it is nice inside in the staff was friendly did not stay in the rooms but the lobby was pretty there was a good space to meet with people.

I stopped in to this location this evening after spending the day at East Tennessee Children's Hospital where my son was admitted today. The man at the desk informed me that they did not take cash. I asked if it would make a difference if I called in my reservation, as I am a rewards member. He said no cash. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but my son's admission was unexpected so I had not had a chance to go by the bank to make a deposit (I work in a restaurant three hours away). Every few weeks I visit my son who is in a residential facility near Knoxville, so I frequently stay at the Holiday In Express and Suites in Clinton, TN. I called as I walked out of the Knoxville location and they said cash was no problem, so I drove about 25 minutes there. While the location of Papermill Rd. Was considerably closer to the Children's Hospital, I won't make that mistake again. Cash should be just as good. I'm not a teenager. I'm not here to trash your room. I'm a 40 something year old mom who just wanted a good night's sleep before going back to the hospital with my son tomorrow. I now know I need to stay in Clinton going forward, even if it is 25 minutes out of the way.

We stay at the Papermill liston every time we come to Knoxville and we love it. The service is great, the rooms are always nice and clean, and the staff is wonderful and helpful.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The indoor pool was a little small, but my daughter enjoyed it. I liked the fruit tea they had set up in the lobby in the afternoon.

We always stay here. This is our first choice! They know us by name and our preference of where we like to stay!

I personally didn't stay there, but it seems cramped. I geuss my parents didn't come here for the hotel. Although I like room. Regardless it served its purpose and the place is extremely well kept.

My stay at the Holiday Inn express was great. The room was clean and the service was friendly.

Nice hotel but very poor noise insulation. Starting at 7 30am it was very very noisy and I couldn't sleep. Even from the 4th floor I was awakened to sounds of truck engines turning on. Just cheaply built building.

The hotel was very nice and for the most part clean. I did notice some large cob webs in the corner of the room. The workers were very kind and pleasant.

Knoxville Tennessee on pikeville was Very clean, room was beautiful and the staff was amazing and for the price I would stay their again hands down.

I stayed here with some girl friends for a friend's 30th birthday weekend. We arrived at separate times. When I got there, they were so nice in welcoming me in. Once I told them the party I was with, they directed me to our room and wished us a fun night! When we got ready to head out for the evening, one of the associates took pics of us with our cell phones. They complimented our attire and wished us well again. The next day, a couple of us decided to sleep the day away, and someone kept trying to come into our room. Not once, not twice, but 7 times! They would knock and when we didn't answer, she would let herself in, see us lying there, and walk back out. I understand she needed to clean or do her job, but she was a nuisance for us trying to sleep. It was about every 30 mins she was knocking and letting herself in. Finally, at 1 pm, the knocks stopped. The rooms were super clean! I always feel nasty in hotel rooms, but I felt clean the whole time! The water pressure was nice! The vent in our bathroom, however, did not work, so it made it awkward when doing multiple business… to the point the others in the room had to turn up the TV to drowned out the sounds. Another irritating thing was the access to the back parking lot. There's only like 30 parking spots in the front. If you go to the back to park, like I did without having a room key first, you have to walk all the way around to get in. It can make for a long walk.

I stayed back in August and the room Ac did not pull the humidity out of the room, staff said GM would call me, never happened. I stayed on 9/18 and the hotel bathroom counter had dirt from previous guest. I mentioned into the the staff and still wasn't cleaned the second day of my visit. I mention the desk when I checked out and I was assured the GM would call me. Never happened again. Also have not received IHG points for stay. Time to change my hotel in Knoxville!

Love their service. We stayed here a couple months ago while in town for a family emergency. Am staying again soon for family reasons and I'm looking forward to seeing the staff again. Not the biggest or the fanciest place but clean and good service. Highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful experience staying here. The staff is all very friendly and accommodating; I'd like to mention a few in particular. I don't remember the name of the man who checked us in, but our confirmation # is 65137992, if that leads you to him. The gal who checked us out was Tia, the breakfast staff were Sheila and Mr. Lee, and the Houseman was Melvin. They all treated us as though we were family; it made our trip especially warm and inviting. We were here visiting our sister, and will definitely stay here when we come back. Thanks so much!
