During all the confusion of the virus crisis, they stepped up and provided a breakfast bag, since they had to close the dining room. It was greatly appreciated.

My stay w/the Royal Suits stay at Clarion Inn & Suites West Knoxville was great! Walking into the building, I was greeted by a great staff that quickly double checked our booking and got our room keys to us to check in faster. I thought that was awesome service! Next my friends and I got on the elevator to go to our floor to see our room. From the elevator to the dining room where they set up an amazing breakfast, the floors were very clean and the room tidy and neat. Then we got to see our rooms. What a nice clean and cozy room for our stay. Clean sheets on beds and the desk were wiped and cleaned with great care. That's important with the health problems going on in our country at the moment. Moving on to the bathroom… it was neat, organized, and clean as well. It's nice to see a staff really nail this to the best of their ability it would seem, and I have much respect for everyone that works in this hotel. Plenty of great amenities for everyone. Coffee for all guest in the lobby, night or day, was an amazing touch. I know when I come back to Knoxville Tennessee… I know where I'll be staying!

The room was perfectly clean and quiet, and there was plenty of safe parking as well as a laundry room to help get caught up after a while on the road! Fantastic hotel great rooms they are very roomy.

My husband and I stayed there while he worked in the area. When we left I somehow had forgotten my Apple Watch. I dreaded calling the hotel because I figured there was no way it would have been turned in. Not only was it turned in but they went out of their way to mail it back. Kelly, I am sending you something special. I cannot thank you guys enough!

Stayed for a few nights and loved the breakfast, free coffee in the lobby, and pool. The staff was so nice, and helpful whenever we needed anything. Loved the pool as well. A great place to stay!

The Clarion is a great place to stay. The staff there are very accommodating. The newly remodeled rooms are above amazing and very comfortable. This hotel is equipped with a beautiful pool area, full hot breakfast in a beautiful dining room, small gym and even a computer lounge. I loved my time here.

First room had spider webs asked for an updated room which was really nice except its wasnt completely done. Over all good for the price.

Convenient hotel right off it on the way home from Florida. Check-in was smooth with a very friendly person at front desk who was helpful with ideas for food nearby. The bed was very comfortable and the desk chair the most comfortable I've ever used. The breakfast is amazing with lots of options including real scrambled eggs, make yourself waffles, and biscuits with gravy.

Best price in Knoxville. Rooms was very well put together. Sound proof. Newer white comforters, nice sheets and bedding. King size bed was cozy. There was a refrigerator and microwave in room at no extra cost.

I love this hotel, I'm here for work and all the staff here treats you like family, the breakfast is amazing and the rooms are clean. Its so nice to feel at home when you're out of town.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our trip! It's literally right off I-40 which connected us to everywhere we needed to be in town. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a good budget optio.

We really enjoyed our stay. Though the hotel was undergoing renovations, the room was decently upkept and cozy. The main drawback was the loudness of the ac/heating unit in the room. I had to greatly increase the TV volume to hear it over the unit. The breakfast was warm and had ample variety. The employees were friendly and attentive, although we did witness one occasion in which a group made off-color remarks. Overall, we got what we paid for and we were satisfied with our experience.

We had to move rooms because of a bathtub backed up with what looked like poop. In the next room, the tub wouldn’t drain so no one could take a shower. When we let the management know, nothing was done to compensate for this. Black stuff flowed out with the water when we drank from the sink. May have been a temporary issue with the plumbing, but we were disappointed with the lack of concern for our satisfaction. They said the manager wasn’t there and wouldn’t be back until next week.

Some renovations needed, plus better cleaning. Vacuum with an edge tool would make a huge difference. Good location. Good breakfast. Room decent.

Looks like the hotel was renovated but poorly. Decor was falling off the walls in places and the showers were horrible. Would be ok for a quick stay but this place is not Clarion quality.

It was very easy to book a room on my cell phone. We checked in quickly as a Choice Privilege member. Andrew helped in getting my wife"s cell phone back. Getting our bill under the door in the morning was a help in checking out.

Wonderful breakfast. Quiet room but suggest you have drapes that close. Sheers don’t give privacy and let in too much light at night.

Good place to stay. Got to pricey. Have to find another motel. After 5 years, two rooms for every UT game.

This hotel is located in a fairly quiet location. Even with Interstate 40 only about 300 yards away, not to mention the hustle and bustle of the nearby city, we barely heard any traffic noise from the location we were in. The room was clean and well taken care of. The staffer at the front desk was very friendly and even helped us check in an hour early. The breakfast provided was pretty good too. If I'm ever in Knoxville on business again I plan to stay here again.

Be very careful! Make sure you have some sort of back up plan. My brother and I each reserved our own rooms in advance for us and our wives. We came to the Clarion Inn in West Knoxville from the Bristol NASCAR race which was supposed to be a 2 hour drive but ended up being longer than that which was expected due to NASCAR traffic. The clerk told us when we checked in that there was only one room left when we each had our own room reserved. The only offer he could make was giving us a cot for the 1 room that was left. This was simply not going to work because a cot is not made for 2 people to sleep on. So my brother and his wife were forced to stay across the street at the Americas best value inn, which was a complete dive of a room the table were dirty, the sheets were dirty, my brother and his wife slept in there clothes that's how uncomfortable they were. Also the dive of a room they got cost $180.00 because of the solar eclipse.

Staff were nice… room had a stain from a leaking window above running down the wall and mildew growing in another spot on the wall. There was not enough breakfast for the number of guests. Great bed and cheap!

This property offered an excellent overnight traveling experience. The room was clean and excellently appointed. The staff made all the difference. Amber answered all of our questions and solved all issues within her control.

We had to change rooms. Our first assigned room had a water leak from the floor above. The next try, found us in a room that had not been cleaned or switched over. Our final room was ready. The terrific lady up at the front desk was apologetic and helpful in this ordeal, she even helped us with deciding where to eat for dinner. It was her strong customer first presence that increased our rating up a point to a 3. Breakfast was well maintained and clean. This trip was just a layover to finish our trip home, so we did not go to the pool, but it looked clean and nice.

OMG I hope this never happens to anyone again. This place is in poor poor poor condition. It is smelly. It is dusty. Worst of all the beds are not just lumpy they have sink holes. The rate is cheap but totally not worth it. I was traveling with a group package so I was stuck there for 12 hours. Otherwise we totally would have changed location or slept in our vehicle.

This is a ok place the ac doesnt cool the room enough and the window blinds are the white ones that let the light thru so at night u cant make it super dark but the pool was nice and had just been cleaned staff was friendly.

We had a nephew pass away unexpectedly, needed many rooms for out of towners, had Lisa at front desk going above and beyond with helping us get through this difficult time, had all our rooms together, printed maps to the church, gave us a place to sit and talk, kept asking if there was anything else she could do to help us.
Our rooms were nice, clean, comfortable, we needed handicap accessible room, had one for us right next to the rest of our rooms.
Breakfast was good, hot eggs, bacon all good, made my return trip much easier with all the help from Lisa and all at front desk.

Thank you, Clarion Inn and Suites West. We had a family member unexpectedly pass away in the West Knoxville area and had to find lodging for our out of state family members. I found Clarion on the internet. I called and spoke with Lisa, she was very compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable. I had a lot of questions and needs. I needed a handicap room and 6 more rooms in close proximity to the handicap room. Lisa quickly had it all lined up for us. Since we were traveling we did not know our arrival time, she made sure those rooms were the first cleaned so that if we arrived a little early they were all ready. When I got there I was pleasantly surprised. Everything looked so nice. I met Lisa at the desk. She was my "go to" for any needs we had to get everyone situated and was available until her shift was over. She never acted like we were a bother. She was kind, thoughtful and accommodating and in every way an exceptional employee. We needed a place to be able to talk with family, the lobby had two areas and one worked out great before the services. She overheard us trying to figure out the best way to the church, she printed us each up a map to the church and told us how to get there with landmarks that would make it easier. When we returned the next shift came, Joyce was there to help me in any way possible. She allowed us to sit in the lovely and semi private, eating area so we could all talk as long as we needed, in comfort.

Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Odd smell in hallways (like men's aftershave). Knoxville was busy and we had tried to find a room at 4 hotels before finding one at the Clarion. Too pricey for quality but we were tired and needed to sleep.

Lady at the front desk was nice. They have a special parking place for choice elite and elite diamond members so that made me feel kinda special. Rate was good. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. I stay at hotels all the time and this one actually had bacon yum… And the eggs actually tasted like eggs. Will def stay here again.

Not recommended at all. Place is run down and dingy if not filthy. Air conditioner in room didn't work and the elevator was sketchy.

Stayed here for one night while traveling 2 adults and 2 children under 6 in a room with two queen beds. The tub could've used a more detailed clean but other than that the room was very clean, no smell, comfortable beds. Lobby is very well kept. Checking in was a breeze. No complaints. Great for the price, will definitely stay here again.

It was stuffy and had a weird smell. In addition, the air didn't have an auto-off; it kept constantly turning. The bed was lumpy. We we're glad to leave this hotel.

The front desk person was nice. The rooms were a good size. There was also free breakfast. However, nearly every aspect of the place smelled funny and the breakfast was largely underwhelming.

Awesome free breakfast! The choices for breakfast were plenty. The modern breakfast eating area was great. The room was clean and beds were soft as we had a good night sleep.

Traveller's reprieve — We made our reservations well in advance and advised we had our Yorkshire Terrier with us. The room was clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and had us checked in quickly. The hot breakfast was more than adequate with many things to choose from. We will stay there again when we travel to the south to visit family.

Stayed here while visiting family that live in the area. I have to say that this is one of the best hotels I've every stayed at. The check-in was very fast, the staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very nice and very clean, the room was huge, the breakfast was great! The dining room was very beautifully decorated. The location is perfect if you want to shop or grab a bite to eat, it is close to the interstate, but not close to where you can hear from the rooms. Overall it was a great choice, I will definitely be staying here again when I come to visit.

BED BUGS! This place is Horrible! The Manager Jason is rude! and mean and called me a liar! they charged my bank account twice, and we got bed bugs from this place. Luckily we caught them before they got all in our house but we still had the house cleaned, … out over a thousand dollars and all Jason could say is that I was a liar! I asked for a number to someone higher than him, he gave me AT&T s number! so sweet! We WILL NOT be back.
