We are displaced by the tornado on Easter Sunday. We have been living here for almost 2 weeks. Everyone from the desk clerks to housekeeping has been so kind, helpful and wonderful. Very clean hotel, staff is always cleaning. Huge rooms, no rift raft, and very quiet. Staff always greets you.

Nice place to stay. Breakfast ok could of been because it was 9 in the morning. I'm sure everything is fresh a 6 am.

I tried to do a belly flop on the bed to bounce my granddaughter off the bed sitting up watching Alvin. No bounce. She didn't even rock. Instead I melted into the bed. Top of the line in comfort and luxury. Fantastic staff and very safe.

Great breakfast. Many selections. Oatmeal. Eggs 2 ways. Biscuits and gravy. Cinnabon’s.

Contemporary furnishings & clean rooms. Staff was spot-on! Parking lot was dark & friends were concerned as the area had recently seen a spike in crime.

I attended a shower here. Didn't spebd the night so this review won't help much for that. The space was nice and is worth considering for a meeting in Cleveland. My limited interaction with the staff was great. They were helpful.

I stay over 40 nights a year & this is definitely one of my favorite HIE to stay at indoor pool & whirlpool. Comfortable & Clean. The free breakfast is one of th he best in th hotel industry. ‍

Hotel was beautiful and the staff was great. We stayed in Nashville the night before which cost almost $70.00 more per room… This hotel was cleaner, larger and had more amenities. A far better experience in my opinion.

We have been staying at this hotel for the past 4 years as our daughter attended Lee University. I was able to reserve 3 rooms with points and have family join us for our daughters graduation from Lee. This hotel is consistent with the quality of stay every time we make our way to Cleveland. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Have stayed at several Holiday Inn Express’. Everything was great here, except breakfast. As a last ditch effort I tried a banana muffin, it was not soft at all, actually pretty nasty. Other than breakfast good place to stay.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. For those visiting one of the chemical plants near Cleveland, TN this hotel is conveniently located nearby. It has a hot breakfast included in the room rate. The rooms have always been clean and well maintained. Although it's located next to the highway, I've never been disturbed by traffic noise while inside. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Not a bad place to stay. Even though my room was guaranteed non-smoking, it reeked of cigarettes! The drain to my shower did not drain very well either. None of my friends complained for any of their rooms, so I think maybe I just got a particularly bad room. Anyways, other than those two things, the stay was fine. The front desk staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast is good. Not a bad stay.

As always when I’m in Cleveland I stay at this holiday inn. The care they offer is top notch. It has the professionalism of a large company with the care of a mom & pop place. Rooms are great, always clean. Staff is super helpful. Has a pool, good breakfast.

What a great customer service experience, the front desk attendant, the friendly lady taking care of the breakfast bar and the personal touch: it’s owner, Mr Hughes, who personally, took the time to come to our breakfast table, introduced himself, chatted with us for a bit and thanked us for staying at his hotel. Great job to the whole team!

My family and I just slept here last night. We stopped after a long day of driving and just found the closest HIE to us when we were ready to stop for the night. The staff was very friendly on the phone and when we got there. (In the middle of the night) Our room was VERY clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable! The staff and breakfast was delicious and delightful! Very easy check out and we even shook the owners hand on the way out. Would highly recommend!

Newer place. Very friendly front and cleaning staff. Breakfast staff, however, openly mocked my friend who, trying not to be wasteful, left half a bagel on the continental breakfast buffet. After the mocking, the hotel person threw out the left half bagel. Food was good (biscuits, yum! ) and beds were super comfy. Would stay again.

Spacious clean room! I mean huge! I was upgraded to a suite upon checkin and it was the size of 2 1/2 rooms. Nice surprise after a long drive and that doesn't usually happen. Young man at check in was very nice and polite. Breakfast was delicious! Apple cinnamon with walnuts and raisins and BACON! Yes bacon. It's rare to find bacon on the breakfast bar and it makes me Happy to find it here! They also had pancakes, egg white omelets, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, grits, bagels, toast, muffins, cereal, cinnamon rolls, juice and coffee. There is so much I'm sure I forgot something. Thank you to the staff for having everything prepared and out early! I'll be back sooner than you know.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Friendly staff (front desk, house keeping, and anyone we encountered) Nice room, comfortable bed, and clean. My only complaint was the AC rattled/ squeaked but I finally found a way to dampen that :) We will stay here again in the future.

Accommodations very nice. The place was very colorful and appealing to the eye. Very clean. Room very nice, bed extremely comfortable and room was inviting. The staff polite and experienced in what they were doing. What even made this stay better was that they offer military discount. Very pleased. This was a top rate hotel in my book.

This place was a step above the Ooltewah/Chattanooga HIE. There was someone else's dry cleaning tags/hair on our bathroom floor, meaning it clearly hadn't been cleaned. The TV didn't work and we had the assistant manager in our room for an hour from 9-10pm trying to figure it out. Just a someone else mentioned in their review, housekeeping came knocking right at 11am to rush you out. When we left the hotel, I spoke with the kid at the front desk about the issues and his blank look let is not even an apology. Just bewilderment. Right on dude. We felt the same way… Why can't eastern Tennessee get it together with cleanliness in their lodging? This was better than other options in town, but don't expect the comfy beds, attentive staff, our cleanliness from other HIE around the country.

This is one amazing place to stay. Elegant rooms and professional staff make your stay so enjoyable that you don't want to leave.

Enjoying hospitality and sincere concern towards each and every guest at this clean and welcome hotel, was a very gratifying experience. License plates on the parking lot in front of the hotel were also from Florida and other states affected by hurricane Irma, some from complete families looking for shelter and for sure they found it here. Owner Mister Hughes and his team personally inquired during breakfast and talked with all their guests to ask if they were ok and if they needed any help. He said that the local community was praying for them and that they provided goods and support for the communities affected. That's amazing and commendable. Some people talk others act! This hotel brings the words hospitality and feeling welcome to a complete new level. Bless them all!

Disappointed in the lack of seating outside of the hotel besides what was in the pool area, a patio would be nice for someone enjoying a fine cigar. As a Spire Elite I was thanked for my loyalty but never offered an upgrade (which I'll never ask for) even though the gentleman checking in beside me was platinum and given a king. The next morning I arrived for breakfast at 6:25 a. M. And not everything was out, not a big deal to me but others might think so. I ate my sausage patties and western omelet jusr the same. I'll more than likely never choose this location again because it disappointed me from the start. Hopefully things will improve and this location can live up to the IHG standard.

We arrived close to 1am as part of an exhausting road trip and we were greeted with smiles, water and turned-down beds. Breakfast was set out early and perfect for a quick bite before we left for our morning journey. Thanks so much to the graveyard shift staff for all your help!

Best Hotel in Cleveland! Brand new and clean. The breakfast was hot and very good! So much more than expected. Awesome cinnamon rolls! The staff was very friendly! Will definitely stay there every time when in Cleveland!

The finest hotel of this type I know… Very clean — workers constantly sweeping, mopping the lobby and buffet area. Friendly people — everyone I've met is extremely kind. The front desk, housekeepers, breakfast ladies are all very nice and constantly asking if I need anything. The hotel looks very new and has a great location for all the things I need after work. (Mall is close, numerous restaurants are close) For a small town and smaller hotel, Cleveland and this particular Holiday Inn is as good as it gets.

The Holiday Inn Express, Cleveland is my favorite place to stay in Cleveland, TN. The staff are always so friendly (especially Tyler) and everything is always super clean. Not to mention the cinnamon rolls are on point. If you need a place to stay during your time in Cleveland, make your way to this hotel! Thank you guys for everything!

We are Spire Elite Members. We stay with Holiday Inn Express & Suites throughout the country approximately 300 nights a year due to travel with work. We recognize excellence. We've stayed at the very best Holiday Inn Express hotels. This Holiday Inn is not one of them. Its not operationally efficient. No full time mantenance employee. If your sink or toilet clogs up, your overworked Housekeeper will be who unclogs it. When the Internet is slow, going in & out, you'll be offered a phone number to call internet support yourself. When your room smells stale and musky, you will need to remove the washable air filter from the air conditioner and wash the dust and mold from it. If you have allergies, bring meds. You can see the dust outlining the entire room where the vacuum cleaner isn't efficient. Other Holiday Inn hotels do nice things for their valued guest like a catered meal once a week. Nightly snacks. Not happening here! This ownership/management doesn't remotely come close to being loyal and consistent with the Holiday Inn Express Hotel Brand, Rythem & Process. 75 nights stay a year qualifies you as Spire Elite Member. As I mentioned, we stay 300 nights a year. Nearly $40k a year we drop with Holiday Inn… If you are an Elite member of any sorts, do not expect any special treatment here. Not even your member benefits! Excellent Customer Service is not a priority for this owner and management. Response: This is the correct location! I do not need you to contact me.

Great place, rooms were very nice. Wifi was a little slow but manageable. Rooms were very clean. Air conditioning system took a little bit of adjustment to get it right.

Clean, comfortable, quiet accommodations. Beautiful view, friendly, professional staff. Use traffic light entrance.

We arrived late around 11:30pm while traveling to Florida. Staff was very courteous. Room was very clean. Breakfast was nice. Would stay again.

I stayed here recently, as I was passing through on a work trip. Nice hotel, clean, little on the expensive side… but a decent hotel none the less. Service was good, breakfast was holiday standard … kinda of bland for the price of the room.

Nice quiet location, easy in and out. Clean rooms, ok breakfast, $170 seemed a little pricy for a few hours of sleep but it beats the alternatives!

The service was amazing, everything was done in a timely fashion in the nicest way possible and always with a smile. The rooms were in great shape and the location was pretty good too.

Not a bad hotel, but it was a bit beat up. Might be getting close to needing a refresh. Decent breakfast options, spacious rooms, and good service.

Excellent staff and acomodation, but internet is extremely slow and unstable. Internet is a basic fundamental service for any hotel in my opinion.

So I left a bag in my room yesterday with relatively brand new running shoes and brand new under armour workout clothes in a plastic bag in my room. Called back the same day in the afternoon that I had left it there on accident, and now I am being told that I am out of luck apparently because housekeeping likely made the decision to just throw them out… So should I have taken the bag with me — Sure, but this is a hotel and stuff like this has to happen all the time, and I would have hoped that someone might be kind/smart enough to just set it aside for even 24 hours to see if someone was going to claim it. That or I need to get a much fancier bag to put athletic shoes into. We're not talking about old smelly shoes here, we're talking about new shoes and clothes. So long story short, while I do appreciate the responsiveness from staff there… none of them even hinted at any offer to replace / compensation me for anything, which is quite disappointing…

Have stayed here twice and always recommend it to my out of town guest.

Great hotel. Awesome and very friendly staff. Super clean and comfortable. Beds are clean and comfy. Bathrooms are very nice, bright and clean, with bath and body works soaps and shampoos. Breakfast is great, biscuits and gravy, and the cinnamon rolls were my favorites. Outdoor pool is nice. The only compliant I could have is they should leave the lights on in the lobby when breakfast is over, it's odd they turn them off literally the minute breakfast ends, even if people are still sitting in the area. But a very small complaint for an over all excellent, clean, friendly, and welcoming property. If we are ever cursed with having to stay in Cleveland, TN again we will most definitely stay at the awesome Holiday Inn Express.

Excellent hotel! Gave me military discount on a very nice room! Room was clean and very nice! Breakfast was good! Hotel is right up the road from Wendy's, Hardee's, Target, and I — 75N on ramp.

I had to cancel my reservations, and couldn't get a refund from advance purchasing, but the manager went out of his way to make sure I would be upgraded the next time I stayed. Joe Munson was the hotel rep that also was very polite and worth bringing my business back to this hotel.
