Small beds, poorly functioning light fixtures, aging, worn walls, and noisy ac are a few of the downsides. Smell isn't exactly offensive but not pleasant either. Left a lot to be desired.

Nice clean rooms easy check in.

The motel was clean. Does need a little updating. Easy access off the interstate. Breakfast was very minimum at best.

This motel was horrible. The 2 air conditioning filters were dirty the first night we checked in, the television would not operate properly and when you sit at the end of the bed the whole frame flips up by the headboard which is attached to the wall. Both beds were like this. In addition to this the bath/shower has no mat or textured floor so you can slip easily. Be cautious if you come here as they will tell you that you have 15 minutes to check out the room and if you don't like it you will get another room or a refund. When I asked for a different room I was told they didn't have any more even though I was told something else just 5 minutes prior. It was 9:30 pm and I was not about to try to get something else after driving for 12 hrs. I will never return to this cheap motel again.

This hotel was wonderful. The staff was very helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable! I will stop here again when I travel.

Really nice people, it's close to fast food & gas. All walking distance. Rooms are clean, laminate flooring & big bathrooms. It's was really nice. Well be back.

I was very pleased. The price was very reasonable. My room was clean. It was a quiet place to stay. Staff was incredibly nice.

This place is a old and outdated. Beds are not attached to the walls. Very thin cheap mattresses. Smoke detector hanging on the wall with no battery in it. Mgr very nice though.

I guess you got what you paid for. Furniture and bed were worn and the floor was ok the best. We didn't encounter any bed bugs. The free breakfast was the basic stuff but the free Wi-Fi was pretty good.

Great hotel for the price. We stayed in room 201 and there were new nice hardwood floors and the bathroom looked remodeled. The beds were comfortable enough for a weekend stay. And we liked the refrigerator and microwave in the room. My only issue was that the towels did not seem really clean. The front desk staff was very nice. This isn’t a fancy hotel but we felt safe and that we were in a clean environment.

The staff is extremely nice so I really hate to do this but this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The towels are cheap old and dingy. The beds are not anchored so if you sit at the bottom they flip up. The pillow fell on the floor and ended up under the bed. There was so much dust and hair on it I had to take the pillowcase off. The mattresses are old and lumpy. Absolutely NO cushion to them. I had nightmares staying in this hotel.

I had reservations at this hotel called ahead of time 2 days and alerted them that we had pets, they said no problem. We got there and after being there half hour they told us to leave and they will give us our money back because of our dogs. And when we went to the service counter they refuse to give us our money back and called the police on us. I will be getting my money back one way or the other from these lowlife not managing Arabs that need to go the f*** back to their country pieces of s*** period and called my wife a b****. They told me if I want my money back to get a lawyer, so I will do that. I own a business and would never treat anyone this way, and I know how reviews affect a business. I have never been prejudice (im in a Bi racial marriage. After this I say go get them Mr President Trump!. So I just got to my next hotel and checked my bank app on my phone and THEY CHARGED ME TWICE! OH I'M SUING THESE GUYS AND MY BANK WILL BE PRESSING FRAUD CHARGES!

Extremely helpful and polite staff. Nice breakfast area. Rooms are good size, clean, and nice amenities. Overall friendly, secure, quiet, and cozy. Just what we needed after a long drive.

Clean, affordable place to sleep. Older gentleman at the front was very nice and accommodating. Can’t beat the price if you want to be close to all the attractions.

Awful service. Paid extra for a jacuzzi room and the jacuzzi didn't work. Very rude employee/owner came to check the jacuzzi. Said he would charge an extra $100 for water on the floor. The only English he obviously knew was " no smoking in room" he said that at least 10 times! The older man was very sweet but they need to do something about the rude employees. We will NEVER be back and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Seriously… find a place up the road a little ways. This place had the rudest people I've ever met.

Wonderful hotel, very clean. The staff was over the top nice, the best service I've had in a long while. Price of room very affordable. Would definitely recommend.

For a lower end hotel, it's not that bad. Could they clean a lot better? Absolutely! When you're at the mercy of sleep or an accident. I took the cheapest nap I could find. I give these folks their props, they had a couple of rooms left.

You WILL be taken care of. They are in the process of remodeling. Free breakfast and no worries. I've stayed here at least 10 times.

Reasonably priced hotel, situated just on the exit of I-24, Very approachable place. Neat and clean rooms having Refrigerator and microwave within. The property is fairly new and very cooperative staff. Amenities include Free Wi-Fi, parking and continental breakfast available. Breakfast includes bagel, bread, choice of 2 to 3 cereals, juice, coffee, donuts.

Nive front desk. Clean room. Great location and price. Less than 10 minutes to anywhere. 5 or 6 restaurants within a mile.

Got into the hallway of the hotel and noticed a really strong paint smell but we have two young boys that were sleeping and just wanted to get to bed. Got up to the room and after 10 minutes my husband and I both had headaches so we decided to leave. Asked for a refund and they said "next time you ask for a refund you shouldn't leave the room a mess" we had tucked our boys into bed and that was the "mess" that we had made. The room was old the bathroom was dirty and I was sick to my stomach. We pulled the car to the back door to get out of there and noticed a paint bucket, I looked at it and they are painting their hotel with no ventilation with TRAFFIC PAINT! The white paint they use to paint traffic lines on the street. I am so appalled and don't know how they can get away with that. PLEASE do not bring your children here, I don't want anyone to get sick!

This place is DISGUSTING! We came to this hotel on a vacation to see family & enjoy our time before my husband deploys, this place was a disaster. I was bitten MULTIPLE times by bedbugs. I had to make an emergency appointment with my doctor when we returned home. It's 80 degree weather here & I'm now having to wear long sleeves because it's embarrassing how many bites I have on my arm! Not only that but I had to sanitize our luggage, clothes & house to ensure we didn't bring bedbugs home to our children. Breakfast was a joke & the older gentleman has NO customer service etiquette what so ever. This was a terrible "Choice Hotel, " you guys should really re-evauluate WHAT makes a hotel a "Choice Hotel. "

Avoid at all costs! Staff was more concerned with doing work on hotel than customer comfort. The whole building smelled from paint fumes from from freshly epoxy painted stairs that were not ventilated to the outside to reduce odor. I checked in about 530 PM, was informed that the rooms didn't smell, and I left to get dinner, came back about 6 PM to eat in my room, the room still smelled, having no outside ventilation, and then, the front desk person and a helper start to clean up some previous dirt from work that was done on the second floor hallway RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY DOOR AS I WAS EATING! I decided at that point that I didn't need to stay any longer as anything else that happened that wasn't good would have been my fault for staying a minute longer. When I went to the front desk to complain and ask for a refund, the person who checked me in and then was vacuuming in front of my door told me " I know what kind of customer you are" which is amazingly rude to ANY PAYING CUSTOMER!. At that point, I took my refund, went to other nearby lodging, and had no other bad experiences there. If this is the way that Choice hotels wants to manage properties, I will avoid at all costs in the future.

Excellent and friendly staff. Clean room and bathroom. The mattress pad was to thin but wasn't a big deal. Quiet and convenient location near downtown. I will stay here again in the future when visiting Chattanooga.

Very nice staff & very clean considering some other places I've stayed at for the same rate! Check in was not until 3 & they let me check in at 1 & didn't check out until exactly 11 the next morning. Visited the outdoor pool & it was very relaxing! I had s non smoking room with king size bed & it was very peaceful nights rest. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area.

The employees/ owners are super nice. That's the best I got though. Place is old, not clean, just worn out. They appear to be renovating. But u get what u pay for. And I went super cheap on this room.

We drove from lower AL to Gatlinburg and decided to stop here for a day/one sleep and checkout the local views. Loved the location Of this hotel, it was out of the main hustle and bustle but still close to everything. I would maybe not stay for a long period of time but our needs were met. Room was very clean, staff very nice. Don't stay here if you are wanting a swim — the "pool" is more like a glorified bath tub, but we didn't have interest in that anyway. Biggest complaints were that it could use a little renovation, the continental breakfast left much to be desired, and the A/C was nice and cold but a little noisy. However, it was $50 a night, so older features are to be expected. McDonald's is a stones throw away if you want a hot breakfast, we just had bagels and juice before we hit the road Side note: I sense a little racism in some of the reviews, and me thinks that this has contributed to some of the horrible reviews. The staff is made up of a lovely INDIAN family. If that bothers you just move along! No need to trash a business due to your bigotry.

Absolutely horrible company!
Dirty rooms, horrible food and complete lack of customer service. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL! Thank GOD I got my money back and Andy the manager offered me an extra night stay, so after returning from a day of work a different manager that the front desk called and told me there is no free room me despite what Andy told me and hand wrote on a business card this morning! I drive 9hrs with my children and I just wanted the chance to rest up before getting back on the road!
I wish I could add photos to this review and how about getting employees that speak clear English! My first time in Tennessee, horrible first impression.

This was a very nice hotel right in the center of town. Clean and close to places to eat.

Worst hotel ever! Dirty, the owner and his wife are disgusting and disrespectful people I've ever met. The keys only work 20% of the time, and trying to get them to fix it is like talking to a brick wall. The claim to have free high speed internet, which almost never works, and they don't allow you to fill up coolers in the ice machine. I personally saw them sell rooms to 3 different people all at different prices. An Indian family came in and they charged them $82 per night, and a white family came in and charged them $199.99 per night, and they were only staying for one night. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT stay here!

I am a tourist from Russia, I ask in advance to forgive mistakes. Wi-fi in the hotel awful (to catch Wi-Fi in a nearby McDonald's, he catches at the hotel), stated there is practically no breakfast, stated pool was not working.

Never staying again! The rooms smelled like smoke. The lights barely worked and the beds were very hard. The breakfast was terrible and the workers were rude.

We stayed last night. Got home after a 8 hour drive to discover that we had gotten bed bugs. The room was not very clean and when I called the hotel to notify them he acted as if he gets that all the time and no big deal. Now I have to pay a company to make sure I didn't spread them to the rest of the house w/ my luggage. Very disappointed!

This place is nasty the pool looks like a HOT TUB it is SERIOUSLY not much bigger than a bathtub! The people there are rude! They charged us more than originally stated and all other hotels were booked due to a big event going on in the area and they new that which is why they jacked up the price! The room was dirty and food crumbs on tables trash behind nightstands lamp shades where brown for cigarette sake, burn holds in comforter! The room smelled so disgusting that we had to leave go by airfreshner to spray BEFORE we could even unpack! We WILL NEVER due business with am ECONO LODGE EVER AGAIN!

Stayed 1 night, was planning to stay 3 nights! Only other guest (2) was in the room next door! The VERY WORSE part was that I was on Safari all night. I killed a least 10 flying beetle-moth looking creatures that came out of torn wallpaper and out of the AC unit. I would have rather slept in the car. Last minute decision to stay. Needed a room.

Old and smelly. Smoke even in no smoke zone. Near to nothing breakfast. Pricey for pathetic place.

Two stars for the decent attitude the staff and manager had towards the problem we reported. But they couldn't fix our problems. The facility is old and lacks maintenance. We had three rooms for one night and there had been a broken coffee machine, a broken door latch. The worst part is that the bed sheets were dirty and with hair and stains. Yuch! The breakfast is basically a pitcher of OJ, a bag of bread, and a pot of coffee, most of them gone because of the previous group. I wouldn't stay there ever again and don't recommend the place.

It was a great hotel. But the people there make it amazing. I accidentally forgot a very precious and cherished necklace … a week later I picked it up! Honest and nice people. Will stay again!
