Very helpful staff. Very Good, the staff in the restaurant was very nice and did an excellent job, and the food was delicious. Scarlet was a super nice and very helpful…she needs a raise!

Great location! one elevator was down our entire stay which made it hard as we were on the 12th floor. 20 min wait times Sunday and Monday. Tired to eat breakfast twice. Two days in a row we're waiting to be seated and no one ever came to seat us. Walked out and had a great breakfast up the street. I asked the front desk clerk to speak with somebody about it and she said they were busy. I would definitely stay here again because of the location and the pool was decent. I know everybody is short staffed but for as much as we paid I expected better service or at least a discount on this trip. Hopefully next trip is better.

The hotel was nice — we had a handicapped king suite, so it’s a little harder to judge but our room was large & clean. The staff was really friendly and they added Starbucks credit to make up for lack of diamond lounge. The best, however, were the Tesla chargers! Tesla drivers… this is perfect! There was one other non-Tesla EV, but I didn’t check it out, sorry. Thanks, Doubletree!

Nice beds too friendly staff.

We have been coming to Chattanooga for many years. We’ve stayed in many hotels from B&B’s to $$ ones like The Edwin. We have discovered a quiet jewel with suburb suites, friendly staff and fun pub accommodations!

Nice got group discount rates very pleased nothing to complain about.

We loved our stay here! The staff was so welcoming and facility was super clean and really nice. Our kids really loved the beds. At checkout had a really nice conversation with Nia. You all have top notch workers.

I am very impressed with this hotel. Ms. Malone & the entire staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel right at home. When you check in the staff is very helpful. Even with all the restrictions from Covid do not hesitate to get meals at the hotel. There is a kind lady that has your breakfast & lunch are boxed up and ready with a great variety of different items each day. Need to order dinner no problem another kind lady at the bar takes you order and brings it to you without leaving the hotel. The hotel is steps away from everything downtown. Thank you every one at Doubletree Hilton Hotel.

We decided to come back here after having such a positive experience last time staying here for a night in Chattanooga. Hotel is recently renovated, or maybe it just feels like it is. Very nice rooms and overall very clean. They have digital key, so you can comple bypass checking in at the desk; just go straight to your room! Location can't be beat. A few minutes from all sorts of good food, and you're only a short walk or bike ride across the river to the North Shore, where there is even more food and entertainment options.

Staff were very nice. Hotel clean and well kept. Location great. Walk to all down town Chattanooga attractions. Cons: paid parking and no free breakfast. Price not worth having to pay 16 per person for breakfast. Parking was 11 self and 15 valet. Skip here and stay at the embassy in Chattanooga. Larger rooms, free parking, and free breakfast.

My husband and I stayed at Doubletree by Hilton last week end in Chattanooga for one night! We were disappointed as room carpet was old, curtains on window were dirty, stained and broken! Bed was very soft, def a new mattress needed! Sink taps needed adjustment or tightening, loose! Everything else in room was clean! No breakfast, pay for parking at $150 night — too much for this! Positive things staff was nice except for checking out they told me I owed $77 plus valet parking as we had run bill up in bar previous night! Not true I told them, (we did not drink at bar, and I self parked my car) then manager came and said yes you owe this or someone got your room card no and charged it? I said no my husband and I were together at pool all evening, and never went to bar. Then manager said are you Ms. Amanda and I said NO then he checked name again and said sorry we pulled up wrong person despite the fact I had handed them my room card to match up! He said he would remove charges which he did! But it left me feeling never again will I stay here! They need to make sure they are speaking to right person before they demand a charge that is not legitimate or owed to them! I will not stay at this hotel again, definitely not worth the money and needs updates! The pool was lovely and we enjoyed that! But better deals at more updated cleaner hotels in area! So we will stay elsewhere when visiting Chattanooga! Do need to mention Brandon on staff was very helpful!

A fabulous hotel with an excellent staff who's sole desire is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and all the furnishings to make you feel you're at home and not in a hotel. The only problem we had this weekend was that the restaurant was closed on Saturday evening. After a long day of sightseeing in downtown Chattanooga we really didn't want to go back out so we had no choice other than to eat in the bar which for my seven year old grandson was a real experience.

Stayed here 3 nights with the wife and 3 kids. We got adjoining rooms to make everything easier. Rooms were nice and updated. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool and amenities were also good. Would absolutely stay here again. One thing I read on other reviews was the elevators being slow, they are. It seems the staff doesn't have their own service elevator which slows everything down in till rooms are clean. The close door button actually works on these elevators, so push and hold it when you can to speed things up.

Booked my room in February through Hilton Honors. When I got to Chattanooga the hotel was over booked and I had to be booked into a new room where my wife and I had to have separate beds. Great way to start a weekend getaway. Then the hotel made an empty attempt to make up for it by offering us breakfast. Which we weren't going to be able to use anyway. Follow up, manager contacted me and apologized for the mix up. I gave them another chance and stayed there again. Service was above board and staff was excellent. I will make this my usual place to stay from now on. Thanks for a great experience!

This has been one of my favorite Hilton properties yet. Staff is courteous and professional. They do everything they can to make you feel welcomed.

Clean, friendly, reasonable price with an outdoor pool plus a nice walking area. Ball field is a few blocks away, Mellow Mushroom, Starbucks, cupcake store and other eating very near by. I will be staying here more often when need be for a stop.

Everyone was very nice! We got to the hotel and staff was very helpful. They have a shuttle to anywhere in the near downtown area and everyone is very knowledgeable about places to eat, shop, entertainment, etc. We only stayed a night, but the room seemed clean no disturbances at night. Front desk lady was really nice too.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean with a modern feel. The staff were very helpful with information about the surrounding downtown area. One thing I would change is to provide free parking for guests.

I just took a trip to Chattanooga with my husband and my 1 & 2 year olds. I tried to save a buck and booked somewhere else. It was a disaster and the hotel was not suitable for us to stay. I came to doubletree after driving for 10 hours desperate for a room! The call center that handles bookings told me I would need to stay my first 3 nights in a king room and my last night in a double queen. When I checked in I told the manager (Taylor) and the front desk staff about my situation. Taylor went above and beyond to get me 1 room to stay in the whole time rather than having to switch. He was super helpful and basically saved our vacation! The restaurant inside was great and we had excellent service. The valet workers, housekeeping, all front desk personnel, literally EVERYONE we encountered was amazing. We won’t stay anywhere else in the future!

Attended wedding reception here. Food and service were excellent. Most of wedding party stayed here with no problems.

Lovely modern construction. No on street parking nearby. Haven't stayed there, but have performed there several times. Nice bar also.

Clean, friendly staff, amazing placement. You're close enough to walk to anything downtown, including the river, and a 10 minute drive from anywhere else you want to sight see. Also, they give you as many free cookies as you want at the front desk. So cute and yummy!

The service was great and everything clean. We stayed there the weekend for e marriage retreat. My only concern was the cost. Even though the rooms were blocked off early, the cost was still high (approx $130/night). Their parking lot was Abit small and tight to get around. Still service very good and room was very clean.

I was quoted one price for breakfast and the price ended up being double that amount. 15.00 for valet parking per day or 8.00 self park. With a hotel priced as it is, we had to pay for parking? The staff that we came in contact with were excellent. Waiters, Front desk, room service… but we didn't have enough towels. We had to walk across the street for coffee if we wanted any after hours. We usually stay at their sister hotel that has coffee, tea… 24-7. Although it was located in a very convenient location, I will not be staying there again.

Nice hotel. Good price. I do really wish they would not push their cookies so much. Yes I get you make cookies, they are okay, no I don't want them every time we see you.

Super friendly staff. Rooms were clean. Location was great. Right in the heart of downtown. Restaurant and bar were really convenient when it was pouring rain and we didn't want to get out.

Really nice/clean hotel. Right down the street from the aquarium. Has a restaurant in it as well but I didn't try it out. Of course the free cookies are always a plus. And Johannah was very helpful with anything I needed. She did say she was new but done a good job assisting with everything. Overall a cool, fun stay.

Downunder in Chattanooga, not bad but breakfast is not that great.

Good place to stay when in Chattanooga. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Parking is $11 a day or $15 for valley. I did find that there are some parking facilities close by that charge less. There is one restaurant and a bar. We only had the breakfast buffet which was pretty good. The only thing that was disappointing was the fact that the pool was outside and it was 30 degrees all week. They do have a good fitness room with plenty of equipment. Overall good choice at a fair price.

The staff were very helpful and considerate. Everyone we encountered on our stay over Christmas was happy and glad to serve. The common areas seemed clean and well decorated. The 2 queen room on 11th floor was fairly clean, but needs some slight repairs and updating to fixtures in bedroom. The A/C needs to be replaced or at least seriously repaired. TV channels are limited, but there is a Guide channel. The Starbucks in the hotel has limited hours and does not take gift cards. There is a digital piano in the virtual lounge. Overall, good stay over our 2 day Christmas visit to Chattanooga.

My husband booked a surprise trip for my birthday in December of this year. Unfortunately a week before the trip he called and had to tell me about it as he had been called in to work weekends as he is a UPS driver and it is the Holiday season. I called the Hilton as soon as I found out and spoke to a few incredibly helpful people, Jessica — is amazing if you have any needs I would certainly speak with her I feel as though she does her best to go above and beyond for her customers until it becomes out of her hands. Maya and Vickie were also wonderful and as helpful as they could be. I left a message for the manager on duty 3 days ago and have yet to hear back form him. Unfortunately as my husband booked through their website instead of calling in to book they could not help us in canceling and getting a refund. I was directed to the 1-800 corporate number who said nothing but NO and there was nothing they could do besides charge an additional 50 dollars and allow us to book in the coming month and we had to decide when in two days. We were unable to commit to a date as his work will continue to be crazy for the immediate future. We will not be booking with the Hilton group again and are very disappointed in the customer service provided by the chain. Learn from our misfortune and CALL to make your reservation that way if life happens and you are unable to make your reservation they can actually help you.

This hotel is in a good location, with easy walks to attractions, shopping, and restaurants. I found their staff super helpful with our requests. The room was in good condition with plenty of room around both beds. The lobby is very nice and the pool looks like it would be very nice on summer days. The hotel is starting to show its age in other parts of the building. The elevators have oil stains on the roof, the paneling was refreshed but doesn't for over the previous paneling locations so it looks unfinished. I would stay here again, unless there was a better deal, there are a few hotels in close proximity and amenities so this isn't the only choice for the area.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodated all needs and requests during the conference. Located within walking distance from area attractions. No free parking for overnight guests. Meeting rooms were set up adequately and staff helpful. Would stay with this hotel again both personally and for business.

This place was very nice. Clean, in walking distance to the aquarium and a bunch of restaurants, nice staff, etc. Their fitness room is clean and well equipped also. Maybe skip valet parking? It's $15 a night and the lot is right around the corner of the building.

Very nice. Hotel rooms are great they're clean very modern and updated. Beds are very comfortable. All the hotel staff is above and beyond. So helpful so gracious. Our two gentlemen hosts who serve our breakfast every morning are just the nicest gentleman ever.

Walking distance to some great restaurants. Nothing bad to say about this location. I'm posting this review after staying at this location twice. Previous visit was 3 yrs ago. Perfect experience then and now.

Perfect location for a walkable downtown. Rooms were well maintained and very clean. Staff easily went beyond "doing their job" by helping us out a couple of times when another place wouldn't have bothered.

The front desk associates were so friendly and the check in process was excellent. The rooms vary in size from normal to very small, so ask about room size at check-in. Breakfast was delicious. Fitness center is roomy with great equipment.

It's a step up from Hilton low end but it is not a Hilton. The place looks like it could use a remodeling job. Employees were all very accommodating and pleasant. I would recommend as a medium priced hotel. Good location for tourists.

We had an excellent experience. The room was clean, well tended and I loved the complementary bottles of water. The staff was friendly and very helpful always checking to see if there was something else they could do to improve your stay. I loved the fresh chocolate chip cookies and appreciated the free corkscrew that was sent up when I forgot mine at home. My only suggestion would be more lounge chairs at the pool. Overall, an excellent experience.

My husband and I stayed her overnight with our 2 year old and 8 year old. They had a blast in the pool and it's in a great location. The car service was nice too. They let us leave our car after checkout to go to aquarium so we didn't have to move it and pay double parking.

I was booked into room 702. When I got into the elevator, I noticed the HHonors stickers on levels 9 and up. I am an HHonors member but I was not booked on any of those levels, even after I requested a high floor. I got into my room, and the hot and cold water is backwards on the sink, and the remote to the TV doesn't work. Requested new batteries and that fixed it. Left a note for maintenance about the hot water issue. Got called in the middle of a tour through the Aquarium saying that they changed our room last night. After some confusion we figured out they had called the wrong guest. Other than that, the beds were comfortable and the facility is nice. Hotel is conveniently located to downtown restaurants and attractions. However the room is a little cramped so, next time we'll probably stay elsewhere.

Great experience at the DoubleTree. It's in a great location right downtown, so you can walk or rent a bike to almost anywhere. The free cookies are delicious and the staff is really accommodating and courteous.

Location is great. Staff was Super friendly and exceedingly helpful. Would recommend again and again. The young lady that checked us in and assisted (Merlana, apologies if misspelled) as well as Zach during checkout deserve special attention. This property was busy, busy and they were stellar in customer service. Bravo to this hotel for having great associates.

Awesome location with a modern and lavish interior. Group friendly and offers beautiful rooms. The staff are professional and sweet. Other guests are quiet, and the pool is nice! Open atmospherical lobby with a wonderful in-house restaurant.

Check in was great. They recognize vets and they have me an additional discount with free breakfast in the morning. Room was clean, and parking lot was well lit.

The location was convenient for my stay. My room was comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Serious bonus points to an employee, Chris I think was the name, who found my forgetten car key and shipped it to me.

The staff was very friendly and made our stay enjoyable. Everything was in walking distance. We will be staying here again. Brook, with house keeping was very helpful and welcoming. My daughter wanted to personally give her some of her own money.

I called back in July to book and reserve rooms for my wedding. They responded and got me the contract fine I filled it out and sent it back. Later on in September I called to get a link to put on my website so my guest could start booking and when I called the didn't have any rooms set for me and the price had gone up. They didn't work with me at all and just said to have my guests call and see that had anything available but they would have to go with the regular rate. I found out that the lady who helped me in the beginning was not longer working there so I do understand how that could get messed up. I also should have checked back with them before now so they are not all to blame, however I wish they could have done a little more then tell me they hated to be the one to call me back! Really disappointed.

5/5 — Would definitely stay again. Stayed one night and loved it. Everyone was very helpful and polite. Room was super clean, Wi-Fi was very good. Location is perfect for walking to various food/bar/entertainment options. Breakfast was good (but not free, just fyi). Also, there is a parking charge, but we found that most hotels in the area charged this, so can't really hold it against them. The only minor annoyance (very minor) was that there are only two elevators and the hotel is fairly large. We had to wait a while to get an elevator that was open enough to get a luggage cart on it.

Great bar and restaurant. Was across the way in the Hampton since the Doubletree was booked. H2O had great appetizers, drinks and dinner. Very friendly staff and a fun night right across the way.

Downtown Chattanooga Double Tree has absolutely NO customer service. I tried to book for one night, but because of the busy weekend, they are insisting I stay a minimum of two nights. I travel to Chattanooga at least four times per year on business alone, but because of their lack of customer service, I will NEVER do business with them again. Because they are trying to make an extra $200 on me, they will loose thousands in the long run. I spent 30 minutes getting transferred from the hotel property to corporate with each party saying the other had the authority to override the two night minimum. The end result was I couldn't get booked. Thanks for reminding me why I stay at the Sheraton Read House.

I truly loved my experience. Savannah provided excellent customer service and she had such a pleasant spirit. Other staff were also very accommadating. I would highly recommend staying at the Doubletree because the experience will leave you thanking yourself for making the choice to lodge at Doubletree Downtown Chattanooga.

We stayed here twice, but both times, very nice, great comfortable bed, nice for kids and clean bath room. Best location for walking around cute town and streets, close enough to places and water front. With military discount, it is great price! Visit here if you are looking for where to stop.
