I reserved a room for our bus driver with my CC. He paid in cash, but they still charged my card. Simple mistake, but they are not answering my calls. I’ve left five messages, nothing!

My folks stayed there for my Daughter’s graduation. Everything else was booked or really expensive. My mother got bit by bedbugs while there. They have called the management but have not gotten a response. To all the people we know in the Beaufort area, never book a room there or like us, any Days Inn anywhere.

Very pleasant staff! Clean rooms, nice little pool area, quiet. Only thing I would suggest that you book online if you are looking to get a cheaper rate, but as for everything else it is a great place to stay especially for those traveling for your Marine! Just Minutes to Bases! Very accommodating, pleasent stay! Food, gas etc close by as well. Enjoy your stay as we did!

The first night, we had a room with a hole in the ceiling which dripped right in the middle of our bed. It was show enough that we made it through the night fine but still. The floor was so filthy that my feet were black with duty after just a few hours walking barefoot. The staff were very friendly and accommodating about getting us a new room the next day and even have us some discounts for our troubles. The new room was relatively clean and waye to move into, but the toilet seat was old and gross with bubbled and peeling paint. Also, the toilet had to be flushed twice for anything to actually go down. The toilet seat in the first room hadn't been much better which leaves me wondering why something so simple and cheap hadn't been replaced. There are very few outlets, so don't expect to charge electronics near your bed. We booked this hotel because we were traveling with a dog and it had the cheapest fees but I wouldn't stay there again. The friendliness of the staff was definitely the best part of our stay, so kudos on that.

Somewhat dated, but people were very nice at the frt desk. Able to get pizza delivered from 4 islands pizza. Pool was great. Again, the hotel was a little dated, but no bugs, everything was clean, and honestly NO OTHER ISSUES. Plus they let you have room until 12, which allows you to take your Marine back after graduation to change — What a huge help before heading back to Family of 6, no issues.

Booked 3 rooms and stayed May 25-28. The smell that hit you as soon as you opened the door was horrible. Between dirt and mildew, the shower curtain was BLACK. The carpet needed to be vacuumed AND shampooed. Several corners had peeling and bubbling paint and looked "moldy. " We had to purchase air spray and cleaning products to make the stay bearable as every hotel in the area was sold out during that time. Not to mention, cleaning staff barging into our rooms though we told them we didn't need anything. I would NEVER stay again nor would I recommmend. This place definitely needs and overhaul from top to bottom and is overpriced in light of the quality. (I wish I could post the pictures I took)

Customer service was great, pictures not really representative of current state of the hotel. They were doing construction so when it's done I'm sure it'll be a great place. Some moisture issues and AC issues.

I wish and give it a half a star! The cleaning lady was nice but I was the overload with many rooms that needed to be renovated! The paint around the frames were cracking there was rust stains everywhere. The rooms smelt like I haven’t been used in a long time. There was pubic hair in the bathtub it just was not clean. The AC wasn’t working I had to replace a chair it was sunken in I had growing things on it filthy. The freezer in the refrigerator need to be defrost. I had to buy my own cleaning supplies to clean the tub I had lights all the beds. Bought Airwick to make the room smell better. A complete disaster I will never stay there again they totally lied on the pictures because it looks nothing like that when you get there.

First, I always pull back covers when I get to a room. When I first walked in I sat my stuff down and checked the sheets. One bed had dirty sheets and pillows, the other bed had dirty pillows. I called front desk and they sent me more sheets and pillow cases. The floor was dirty like it hadn’t been swept, something had been spilled on top of the microwave and hadn’t been cleaned. First night passed, next day we leave and come back… we had used all the towels so when we came back we expected to have new towels replaced but they never replaced the towels or the trash I had to gather trash out the trash and and take it outside myself and ask for new towels… last but not least… the bugs! My second night I spotted roaches here and there AND woke up with bites on my arms and legs… I checked out a couple hours early because the bites scared me. I took my keys to the front and told the girl there, “had I known y’all had bed bugs or any kind of bugs I wouldn’t have wasted my money on this room. ” She asked what happened and I told her they had bed bugs, she snatched a piece of paper and started writing something down. I told her they should consider spraying or bombing… she was probably mad because there was another guest that heard me but oh well… I would request for half of my money back but I know they won’t give it back.

Not impressed, at all. My room was dated and falling apart. Has a dank musty smell as soon as you open the door. The sheets and pillowcases looked like they had possibly been washed, but they were so dingy and worn out I couldn't tell. Dust was EVERYWHERE and nothing had been cleaned or wiped down — including the sink, tub, toilet or headboard. I'm so disappointed, expected and always have had great experiences with this chain. Housekeeping needs training ASAP.

Our room was filthy — the sheets weren't changed and the floor had crud caked on it. We found bed bugs and were moved to another room. Our friend who also stayed here found a cockroach in her room and when she told the staff about it, they rudely brushed her off. Bed bugs are a serious problem! They hitchhike through luggage and are very expensive to have removed. I am NOT happy.

Stayed for my son's graduation in April. The staff was pleasant. Upon check in the associate was very informative and gave me some info/map of the area as well as for Parris Island. The pool was closed due to the chilly weather. The associate also informed me that the continental breakfast was open an hour earlier on Thurs and Fri due to Family Liberty Day and graduation. Also that my check out for Fri was at noon so we weren't rushing before or after graduation. My room was great, clean and quiet. The continental breakfast was fine. The breakfast attendant and any associate we saw said hello and were very friendly. The hotel was close to restaurants/stores and about 12 minutes from Parris Island.

Horrible avoid if possible. My room was disgustingly dirty. There was hair in my bed sheets and dirt marks on the covers you know what that means… They did not change the sheets between guests gross! The room was dusty carpet stains everywhere of what I don't know. My toilet was clogged when I checked in, the water was brownish. Nice right? Customer service was the absolute worst with an exception with the nice lady that works the breakfast buffet.

The room had stained floor, ceiling had water damage. Also room smelled bad, had to get air freshener, It just looked ghetto. It could of been better for the price.

Cockroaches in the rooms. Very run down and stains on the carpets and sheets. Internet was unreliable, at best. Breakfast was very small and consisted of toast, mini muffins, and frozen waffles. All of which seemed old. Stay elsewhere. Staff was friendly and personable at check in/out.

I booked a room for my son's graduation. According to an app called Sandbox this hotel had a decent rating and good reviews. However, my experience was horrible! I've posted a few pics of roaches in the room, which we discovered shortly after eating, and the bathroom was not clean, the room also smells bad. I called and complained, we were moved to a different room. The second room didn't have roaches but it smelled the same. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! I'd rate this hotel a negative star if I could.

The inmy reason why I would give it 1 star is because the Staff is very nice. Rooms Definitely needs an overhaul. Our shower was gross. I found random hairs all over our floor. The other guests were very sketchy. Multiple People next door to me kept going in and out of their room and sitting in their car for hours one at a time.

Stayed for our sons graduation, 3 rooms, 3 nights. No complaints. Staff super friendly. Rooms very accommodating.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. It has a tremendous lack of cleaning. Rooms are pertty deteriorated, nothing like the picture on website. Bed sheets did not seem to be changed in a while. Rug was super dirty and there was hair in the bathroom tub and to complete the un sanitation, there was cockroaches walking in walls. I mean this one of the closest hotel to Parris island they should do better. Continental breakfast is not continental at all.

The room was… decent. NOTHING to brag about. Linens appeared clean and room felt safe. I only killed one cockroach and the bed was some what comfortable. Continental breakfast was hilarious. There was nothing continental about it. Would I stay here again? Not if I could find a better place.

Horrible! Very expensive! When we got here, the water didnt work. Had electrical issues and the heat didnt work. The worst part was this hotel is INFESTED with cock roaches. I set my drink down for long enough to use the restroom after they fixed our water and there was a roach in my drink. Boarder line rude employees and they tell their customers that their front desk gets robbed often. Hence why they lock the doors after dark. The people we had in rooms around us were obnoxious and admit to being in prison. Not a safe area and would DEFINITELY sleep in my car before EVER going here again!

Our sheets hadn't been changed and we found a dirty sock and hair in the bed. Staff was not the most helpful when we called about it. We were told we had to come to the lobby to get them and once we got there they said they needed to see if they had any clean sheets available.

Clean rooms, friendly front desk clerk, very helpful. The packets they handed out of Port Royal and family day/ graduation info was great. The late checkout came in handy for my Marine to come back and shower before heading home.

This I do not recommend to anyone the rooms are socias and humidity there is cockroach and many powders breakfast the few they put is lousy.

Oh my gosh. I thought it was going to a nice hotel. Was so dissapointed. The bathtub had black on the tile, lamp shades were like stained. Fingerprints on headboard. The TV was terrible. I will say that a lady named Shelia was very nice. She checked me in. They also faxed something for me without changing. For the money that they are making on families coming to Parris Island to watch a family member graduate from boot camp they should be able to make that place look nice. Sorry but it just wasn't worth the money that I paid.

Rooms are very clean, the housekeeping ladies are very nice and helpful at any time. Peter at the counter is super helpful as well as the whole staff. I travel for a living and this hotel accommodates. Very professional and everyone seems to be in a great mood! Nothing but smiles over here.

Best place to stay for (usually) under $100/night. Pets ok. Stayed here many times over the past 3 years. Never seen a bug. Got a musty room twice. Staff very friendly. Free breakfast is alright. Cereal, waffles, oj, coffee, etc. The coffee is rough so go to pluff mud coffee for that. Right up the street. This was home away from home until we made South Carolina our permanent home.

TERRIBLE TREATMENT TO MY EVACUATING FAMILY! Called Days Inn and spoke to the centralized scheduling (as I've done in the past) and the closest Days Inn with vacancy was this hell hole. I am only giving one star because I can't give zero. The scheduling system assured me that this hotel had power and was not flooded as well as would take all 4 of my pets after they placed me on hold and made a direct call to this hotel. When nearing the hotel address, my husband and I ran into several road blocks due to the roads being flooded. When we reached out to the hotel, the male that answered the phone told us "too bad" and we'd have to find a way to get there or we would be charged. At that time, we asked again if the hotel was flooded and were told no. After 1 hour of attempting to find the hotel, we finally arrived to a completely flooded parking lot and two nasty front desk attendants that said that they wouldn't allow my pets. I told them over and over that this reservation was made via the service and I was informed that my pets would be allowed. They then said it would be $25 per pet, even though their sign said $10. The two (Indian or Middle Eastern) front desk personnel then began speaking in their own language and rolling their eyes at me. After waiting in their lobby for 30 minutes, we were begrudgingly given our keys and pointed to our room. Our room was completely flooded, even the beds were wet. The bathroom had dirty towels on the floor. The TV/internet did not work.

While evacuating hurricane Irma I found this hotel had vacancy at contractor rates. The area is quiet. Staff is friendly. The room is mostly in good condition. Had a humid thickness. Beds are comfy. Overall this is a nice place to stay.

I don't know if there have been changes to the housekeeping crew, or if previous reviews were bogus, we stayed the from 08/29 until 09/01. The room was neat and clean with no evidence of vermin we could find. The only negative thing we noticed was that the bathroom exhaust fan didn't work. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful.

The bed was lumpy with springs poking you. The pillows were huge and hard, very awkward to sleep on. I will give them that the room was clean, but even with the curtains closed a Great deal of blue light was coming in from the sides of the Windows lighting up the room at night. The shower curtain was on in such a way that it made a huge mess all over the bathroom for. The pool was a plus. The free breakfast was very cheap. The only gluten free options were mediocre orange juice and near tasteless apples. All in all not my best hotel experience, and I've stayed at some cheap hotels…

From the start of check in, the night crew was extremely lacking in the basic knowledge of payment. Took more the 10 minutes to check in even with our reservation. The night crew had either her friends or other coworkers all in the main lobby with dogs all over the couches. She seemed more interested in the in them then us. They had very low hospitality and courtesy. The price for the quality does not match by a long shot. It had an apparent odor upon stepping into the room. The fridge was not plugged in, nor the TV for some reason. And I've been here for maybe 20 mins. So not a good first impression, but it is a lasting one. Do not recommend for anything unless you have no standards and lots of money.

I've had two experiencesfrom this establishment. The first experience was OKThe room I received was non-smoking but smelled like smoke and I had to air the room out that was in March the bathroom tub area was rusted and outdated so I felt a little unclean but it was bearable. On this visit June 21 my brief stay was very unpleasant upon arriving I was greeted by a very cheerful hostess desk agent. Upon arriving in my room however I killed A roach that had an egg sac connected I tried to be kind and think maybe it was just one. This was not the case when I return to my room later that evening I had three separate Roche experiences within a five minute time frame and in three different locations the management try to encourage me to stay in a different room because the roaches may have came from outside. I did not stay and I am unsure if I will receive my money back for having to change hotels at 11 o'clock at night and being inconvenienced I would pay the extra $20-$30 at a different hotel to ensure it is clean and fit for one to stay in with peace of mind great stuff but the rooms were not up to par.

Well let's start at the maintenance staff. 1 guy in particular was very creepy. Kept looking at my wife to the point we left the pool. Plus he was shouting obscenities down the walk way to another employee in front of my child and other children. Room had a musty smell. But to top it off we came to breakfast and saw the front door had plywood on it. It got ROBBED that night. We checked out and went up the road to Super 8. will never be back.

Worst hotel, that I've ever stayed at. There was mold all over the shower curtain, beer tabs in different parts of the room, carpet was filthy, there was probably a half inch of dust in the corner, a non smoking room but smelled like cigarettes and had butts In the floor, a big spider fell on my son's head and to really put the nail in the coffin there was dirty syringe in the corner next to the wall. Had to talk to the manager or owner (not sure what he is) over the phone, he wouldn't even come there to talk to me in person. Definitely asked for a refund since I reserved the room with a credit card. All I was told by the manager/owner was that he had to talk to his maintenance man and get back ahold of me. Horrible place don't stay here if your not caught up on your shots. I will never stay at another Days Inn again after this experience.

The next time I come to visit I will not be staying at the Days Inn. Cons:Rooms are out dated, smelled awful, television was hard to watch because the channels were blurry, found a cockroach crawling on the toilet paper, bathrooms were filthy and there was trash/ hair stuck in the drains. The coffee maker was also filthy. Also, the breakfast was disapointing. Nothing but oatmeal, toast, hard mini muffins, sausage and biscuit you cook I microwave, and waffles they thawed out and you out in a toaster. Pros: it was close to where I needed to be.

I came to this hotel after reading all the negative reviews with low expectations. WOW, was I corrected by entire staff and management doing the right things. Room was immaculate, clean, quiet, and secure. As I stayed for more than a week, I got to know the staff. Sheila Castillo and her dog, Cain, walk the parking lot at 2:00am every morning on the weekends to watch our cars. Cleaning staff talked to me everyday to ask if I needed anything even though I had the "do not disturb" on my door. How can you surpass that? I DON'T think you can. Not only would I come here again, but would recommend to everyone I know. Well Done Days Inn Team!
