When we got to the room we were blow away with how meticulously it was given to us. It was so clean that everything looked new! Super spacious. It was a welcomed sight to come into after a long trip.

I can’t say about good things about Barony! Everything is at your fingertips. Nice rooms, daily resort activities, games for kids, several pools with tons of seating, great food at the pool bar and perfect distance to the beach! We can’t wait to plan our next trip!

This is a great place to take a family vacation. Very clean place with a lot of stuff to do at the resort. We loved the pool, beach, and other daily activities! There are also many things to do away from the resort.

My 1st visit to Barony Beach and my family ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! So nice, clean, socially distanced, and the weather was PERFECT. We will definitely recommend this place for fun, relaxation and family time!

Gorgeous facility located on beach w/ alot of activities for family.

Such a nice place to stay with access right on the beach. Friendly workers; especially Brian our maintenance guy in building 93. He did a great job of fixing our light and gave good recommendations of things to do.

Very nice place! I love that they enforce the mask mandate and social distancing as well. I was really worried about taking a trip, but I feel better about it with their safety measures and there are lots. This place is beautiful even in January for those of us avoiding groups of people. All of the staff has been very polite and willing to help as well.

Beautiful facility and very clean! Staff sanitized and disinfected the premises nonstop due to covid protocols. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to go back next year!

We have been coming here for more than 10 years and have always had a wonderful experience. From the moment we enter the property, we feel like we are with family. If there has been any problems, they have been taken care of as quickly as possible and always with a smile. The housekeeping team is always ready to assist with a refresh of supplies during the stay, and they are always smiling and make you feel welcome.

Came here for a quick getaway with our family and were very pleased. We were able to get early check in and late check out. Enjoyed the indoor pool, but we were even able to enjoy the outdoor amenities such as foosball, ping pong, corn hole and our son was brave to get in the outdoor heated pool. Staff was very friendly (but hey we’re all South Carolinians! ). Kids loved the towels shaped like animals and the reading lamps ha! Only suggestion would be flavored creamers for the coffee, but other than that we enjoyed our stay!

Great accommodations. Definitely a 5 star resort. Oceanfront pool and hot tub. Easy access to the beach. Even though it is December. Any day at the beach is better than a day at home.

Wonderful resort all the way around! All the staff were so friendly and helpful! Only negative was the jackhammering on the spa daily but guess it has to be fixed sometime! Will stay here again! Highly recommend. Rooms are beautifully done.

Had my dads retirement trip here and it was perfect! All of the staff was sweet and very helpful. We Went to a different Marriott last year on Hilton Head and this one was way better! Perfect for kids since they have a huge splash pad, water slide and kiddie pool area, separate from the main pool. The multipurpose room had a ton of indoor activities for the kids. We visit HH every year. We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel was clean, our room was quiet, the pool was clean and relaxing, the pool bar staff was friendly and food good. We will definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful resort! We adore Lydia at the bar. She is such a great bartender and provides excellent customer service. The grounds are spectacular!

The best Marriott villas ever! Love being an owner here. Toiletries used to be higher end-spa like. The only negative is that they charge you for EVERYTHING! If you want salt and pepper from their market place you’ll pay $6.50! No joke! DVD rentals are $5.70 for 24 hours. They should be complementary for owners… considering they’re not new releases. Come on Marriott, we as owners paid thousands of dollars to be owners and thousands in maintenance fees, give us SOMETHING FOR OUR MONEY! Please!

The resort is not too overwhelming in size … just right and not too crowded with guests. The ocean front villas are great & provide a wonderful view of the Atlantic Ocean horizon … so beautiful & gorgeous!

Well maintained, easy to access beach, plenty of pools and activities. A remodel was a nice update but removed jacuzzi tub from the master suite. Will come back again.

Our family loved our stay. My 4 year old loved spending hours at the pool and the beach. Our 4 month old loved the quiet and enjoyed taking lots of naps in the room. Beach was clean and an easy walk away, rooms were up to date with lots of room. Can’t wait to come back again next year!

Always a favorite — owner since 2000. Good value on the Low Country Boil (great taste), less so on the BBQ Dinner (though still quite tasty — a little steep in price for a single plate). The addition of All Y'all bar/grill a few years back was a great addition to the feature pool area. Lots of fun activities.

Very very nice. Typical Marriott high quality rooms, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and easy access to indoor pools, outdoor pools and beautiful beach. What's not to like here? Terrific getaway.

First time staying at barony, actually first time on HH. Resort was very nice, I was in gardenia building which was a hike to the beach, although they do have a golf cart tram running 9-5. Internet was terrible, not only by the pool but in the villa as well. Villa was updated, very clean and employees very friendly.

Great looking, up to date rooms. Staff are very friendly, and the grounds are well kept. Plenty of daily activities and the beach is great. Only complaint is the lack of parking.

Very nice place for a peaceful visit. Staff is very polite and responsive. While not all the units are on the beach, it is an easy walk. The rooms are special and comfortable with large bathrooms and washer/dryers in each one. The little kids can enjoy the splash pad area if they want. Overall a nice place.

We arrived on Sunday. Kids love the water slide and ALL of the pools. Very kid friendly! Our unit is not ocean front and it is a HAUL to the beach however, there was transportation to and from on a golf cart. Again, the kids love this but complained that it was so far away. The units are new, comfortable, and have everything you need. I am disappointed that there is not secure internet or even an option to upgrade to a different type of Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, this week requires that I work and I HAVE to have secure internet. If you are looking to see the ocean when you wake up every morning. Make sure it's an ocean front room AND if you need secure internet (like all government and most medical professionals need) use a hot spot or go somewhere else.

Everything about it is wonderful! Lots of great experiences for families and incredible customer service. They went out of the way to make my daughter's birthday special and saved the day when we couldn't find the candles for her cake. Above and beyond what you would expect at a resort. This is our second time here and we've been pleased with both visits.

Been coming to Barony Beach Resort for 20 years and still get excited every time we drive through the gates. Tremendous facilities, great service and staff and the best accommodations.

Great place for young children. Outstanding golf. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in all price ranges. Facility is clean and modern.

Staying in Hilton head for the week and decided to schedule a massage at the barony. We had a great experience. Josh was great and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The barony resort is beautiful and well-kept. The pools are great and there are tons of outside activities including foosball, shuffle board, corn hole, ping pong, and more. The rooms are very nice and definitely well equipped. My only complaint is that the location of the resort is pretty far from couldn't plaza, shelter cove, and harbor town.

First time I've visited this property, but it definitely won't be the last. The room was, well, way more than I expected. Had fun at the bar, loved the quick access to the beach. I don't usually stay on the north end of the island, but this place has made me reconsider.

Great place for the family.

An additional star is sure to follow when I can visit during better beach weather. The facilities are good, games and pools and such, just too cold and windy to enjoy the beach itself. The complex is a little confusing to navigate, but the suites are nice enough; clean and spacious, with washer dryer and dishwasher included. TV could be better (choice of guide is terrible), the dishes are good and plentiful, the maid service is friendly and attentive. Didn't eat or drink there.

We spent one night here and it was lovely. My only complaint is it's quite off the beaten path and it takes a while to get to the heart of Hilton Head. For a weekend away though, this was great. Their rooms look right out over the beach and have balconies. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

We love this place! Have owned here for years and each time we've had a very relaxing time. They have remodeled the lobby… looks great. They've updated the look of the unit.

A beautiful and well-kept hotel. When I arrived, the lobby had very recently been redone; it was clean, up-to-date, and attractive. We stayed in a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom suite. The room was spacious, airy, and brightly lit using mostly natural light from the sliding glass doors that opened up onto the balcony. The fixtures and appliances looked new. There were a lot of pools to choose from, including one right outside our building even though we were away from the main area. The main pool area is also located right next to the beach entrance. The overall layout is a little odd, with the neighboring Westin being crammed in between the two main areas of the Marriot. Getting from my building to the main area (lobby, main pools, beach, etc. ) was a more confusing trip than I care to admit. Staff were among the friendliest I've dealt with at a hotel. They didn't try to pressure us too much to take their timeshare presentation.

What an awesome place to relax and enjoy. Even if it's Winter, there is plenty to do. The pool and hot tub are heated! Walk the beach. Go to a planned activity. Relax in the super clean, spacious rooms! The best part is the staff that go out of their way for you. Katie found out it was our son's birthday and put a surprise and hand-written note signed by her crew, in the room! How special is that! This is one reason we go stay often. Great team, great resort, highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed for a week. We wish we could have stayed FOREVER! Oceanfront view room, just a BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO REJUVENATE. So peaceful and quiet. Super great staff.

Beautiful property right on the ocean. The front desk was being renovated but the staff could not have been more helpful. Everyone I had contact with was informative and eager to improve our time there. The accommodations are fantastic. The two room two bathroom suite was clean and well appointed. The rain made a puddle on the large balcony with a table but there was a broom in the closet to sweep it off. The many pools indoor and outdoor (some) heated) and game room; exercise room and ample walking areas made it impossible to be bored. I hope we go back. What a gem.

Once you get to your room (apartment) it's the best. However, this complex is HUGH and driving to find your building (of a hundred or more) is the worst maze of driving I've ever seen. Still haven't seen where that ocean is that is shown in the on line add. We see back of people's houses out front door and maze of more buildings with an awesome swimming pool and HOT tub out our balcony in back. But inside our place is awesome (only it has NO COFFEE for the morning. Coffee maker and it's filters, but no coffee! )! Even cheap hotels are now placing little packages of coffee in rooms by coffee pots for us who need it first wake up! However, the shampoo and conditioner are over the top awesome! My hair is so soft!

Beautiful, spacious, modern rooms. Updated electronics. Helpful staff. Convenient to the beach and a short drive to many bars, restaurants, golf courses, and shopping centers. Plus a bottle of chilled chardonnay from the front desk as a surprise birthday gift! 10 out of 10 would stay again.

We were lucky enough to spend 5 nights in one of the condos here and loved it. Very nice environment, the staff is very nice, the condos are well equipped. We brought food and I loved using the kitchen. Everything was clean. Since we stayed during the recent snow storm we had to stay put one day. We used the indoor pool that day, the water temperature was very comfortable only the coming out of the water part was a little too cold for us especially for our little ones (15months, 3years). We loved the closeness to the beach. Wonderful vacation. It must be super nice when its actually warm.

We stayed here over Christmas and it was the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff is the kindest and remember you. It was someone birthday in our family and we made a little comment about it when talking about activities and the check in lady wrote it down and the front desk staff brought up a basket of treats up to us. Extremely impressed with our stay, hope to come back soon.

Great job on the updates. Perfect time to enjoy the resort. Quite, relaxing really nice not waiting on long lines either at the resort or the local stores and community.

My wife and I had a great time here for our honeymoon. We wanted something quiet and peaceful and Barony Beach provided just that! Great walks on the beach — we even saw some dolphins! Their "All Yall's Bar and Grille" was decent and vegetarian friendly.

Very nice beachfront property. I would like to have some more food options on-site, considering that it's not really walking distance from any other eateries, so you're basically bound to driving somewhere if you want anything other than the one place they've got. That said, it's a tasty place, and the property itself is very well maintained.

A wonderful resort, just steps from the beach. The apartment was lovely and the multiple pools around the resort were a lot of fun. The splash pads and water slide were a nice addition. Bar/restaurant was good, shame there wasn't a second one. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful resort, easy beach access, nice pools. I don't love the sand by the wetland area pool, but otherwise everything is great. Limited activities at this time of the year.

I have been an owner at Barony Beach for almost 20 years and enjoy the resort. I have tried all the features of ownership and have been pleased. However this current visit I exchanged my points for the resort credits specifically for the Tanger Outlet. All of the merchants had a difficult time of this benefit to pay with this feature. It too over 30 minutes at one merchant to figure it out. I would not use this program again offered by Barony. I was highly disappointed after the anticipation of purchasing Christmas gifts for my family.

I love the staff here. Every year they treat the kids at my work to a trip to their facility utilizing their pools and they even grill for us. This Marriott is dedicated to its Community for sure.

Cons: No bathtub since renovation so that was disappointing. Renovation a little too modern for my tastes. Still not enough towel bars in the right places. Pool hours should run until 11. Lots of noise outside. Pros: pool area is very nice. Lighted mirrors in the bathrooms are great. People are very friendly. Lots of fun events. Pools are maintained well except jets on one of the outside hot tubs. Would be 5 stars but I REALLY miss the tub.

Great place for a family vacation! The condos are spacious with a kitchen and have two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has two queen beds. The beach is within walking distance from the pool and hot tub. If you are hungry all you have to do us walk 20 steps to get a margarita and flat bread.

Wonderful amenities and great family fun! We have stayed on three different occasions and each time has been amazing! The remodeled rooms are gorgeous and the bathrooms have a much better layout and functional use of space.

Beautiful resort! This was the first time we stayed at the Barony. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Everything was clean, rooms after perfect. Outdoors is the same. The bicycle seats are horrible though, like riding on a stone bench. We rented them up front for a week but used them once because of that. I would love and will stay here again. Much better than Grande Ocean.

Stayed here for 1 week and absolutely loved it. Best place to vacation I have ever been. Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful spa and fun activities. Rented bikes and rode around the island. We will be back. Already got a return trip planed which we purchased while looking into ownership. Love this place. Beautiful beach!

We have been staying at Barony Beach Club for 12 years and have never been disappointed. The room is clean and well appointed. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The staff is what really stands out! They will bend over backwards to help you with any question you have and assist you with your needs. Well done Marriott!

Just back from a 5 day stay in the Garden Villa portion of this resort in late May. In a nutshell: fantastic experience. Room/Suite: very clean and slept up to 8; huge patio if on first floor; nice kitchen with all the required gear, under building parking (out of sun), washer/dryer set in room Beach: clean; gently sloping, easy biking at low tide, empty beach 200 yards north for about three miles with great fishing action; good boogie board action at high tide (off shore sand bars kill waves at lower tides with prevailing east wind) ; very few jellyfish, but some stingrays in the area; water clarity a bit turbid due to wave action Amenities/resort: security guard, lots of pools, nice bar, great patio gear and reasonable amount of shaded lounges and chairs, bike rental on site; a 500-600 yard walk to beach from our villa, very nice gas grills with ping pong, foosball tables, and big screen TVs adjacent, lush gardens and landscaping Staff: without exception the best I have had in many years of business travel and vacationing. Other tidbits: live music one night in pool and DJ another night; family geared, and in particular toddlers to early teens Not low cost, but pretty darn exceptional.

Loved it here, always quite and rememberable. Will be back SOON.

Quiet, relaxing, and fun. There's plenty to do and plenty of places near by to go to.

Our favorite of the Marriott timeshares in Hilton Head (with kids). Only critique is the resort's buildings are split. Two buildings are behind the Westin — — which is a bit awkward. This side features a recently enhanced pool and play area, but it is a bit of a walk to the club house and All Y'Alls for a bite to eat or drink. Shuttle service is offered during peak season.

We took our daughter and her family in Aug of this year. Our 5 year old grandson absolutely LOVED the pool and shark slide water slide This is a great area for kids! The life guards on duty were awesome, especially Steve and Malee (not sure of the spelling. Sorry) Our villa was clean and very comfortable. We stayed in the Jasmine building. Beach area is really nice. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. All in all. A wonderful vacation.

Great pools and grounds for a family with young kids.

Beautiful grounds and rooms are excellent with beautiful decor. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Many daily activities such as family Olympics, cannonball contest, corn hole contest Texas golden and smores around the fire at night. There are also movie nights for the entire family or an afternoon magic show for the kids. Truly a place that has something for everyone.
