Was a nice room, spent the night out when we got back to the room we discovered the fridge doesn’t work and the shower leaked into the bedroom beside the bed… Didn’t say anything to staff because it was so late when we got it. Got home and checked my bank account and they charged me an extra 100 for smoking… I tried to call and explain to the man I haven’t smoked in almost five years and the guy was very rude and said the cleaning lady said the room “stunk”… I tried to tell the man I don’t smoke, maybe it was on my clothes from being out all night around people who did. The guy basically told me I was lying! I could understand if the lady found cigarettes in the garbage or ashes all over the place… but of course she didn’t because… I don’t smoke! Obviously if I smoked I wouldn’t have called to see why you charged me for smoking in the room! This place has horrible customer service! Not to mention they just stole my money for no reason at all. 100 might not mean much to some people but to a single mom right before Christmas 100 is ALOT! I tried to lodge a complaint on this hotel but the company basically said it’s their word against mine… so just to warn y’all this place steals your money! Make sure if you stay here you make sure it smells like roses and rainbows when you leave or they will take your money to!

Items were stolen out of my car.

Good place to stay, has the best breakfast I've had at a hotel. Room service is excellent; close to shopping mall and lots of restaurants.

This hotel is excellent for the price you pay. I have no complaints. The house keeping does an excellent job keeping it clean. No smell of stale cigarettes. Excellent Wi-Fi and breakfast.

I have stayed here before for business and it conveniently located for me to conduct my business. They have ample parking for trailers and big trucks. Rooms are nice, especially when you are working nights and sleep during the day. Overall a good location and good prices.

This trip marked our second time at the hotel this year. It's off Haywood Rd on Orchard Park, so you don't get the traffic noise. Convenient to Haywood Mall and lots of restaurants. Good fitness center and breakfast area.

Large pool full of small children, so family friendly. Great free breakfast. Close to several great restaurants. Comfortable room. Loses a star because our bed frame creaked every time you moved.

Extremely helpful front desk staff. I booked through Expedia and the reservation had gotten messed up as a result, and the manager on duty was very pleasant and helpful. Checking in tired after a long drive, his helpfulness was much appreciated. Would recommend.

The hotel was very clean, loved the mini coffee maker, fridge, and microwave available in our king room. The breakfast was very nice as well. Rates weren't to bad but a bit higher than I anticipated.

I must say that the room was basically clean. The shower head itself was wonderful but there was a very small non-slip mat to put down it was rolled up and it wouldn't stay down. But there were dirt Wads in the corners in the bathroom. There were only two towels in the bathroom and we were staying there for several days and had to ask for more towels. Also coming from reception area walking down to the room you had to walk out in the street in the rain to get there because the covered walk stops smack-dab into a building and the handicap ramp is very steep there. How they got past the ADA regs I don't know.

Very nice motel room. Very clean and beautiful. Excellent breakfast.

Front desk worker just lazy and immature. One in particular named nathan. I visit the hotel frequently for my job. Twice now i've checked inn and was given a key to an occupied room. Walking in on someone is dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. Hope we change motels before something happens. Then when I returned to the front desk, both times nathan, is not surprised. He even has another key ready as if he knows he didn't check to find an empty room.

Spent a few days here for my event and had an issue with the first door. It would not open so we had to get another room. The service was quick and easy and we had another room in no time. Sheets were kinda clean besides the bottom. Unsure of how they did not see that but it kind of grossed us out.

Like the hotel great room especially for the price great location and has an awesome breakfast.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, free Wi-Fi, and breakfast is worth the stay. A full buffet style breakfast, eggs, grits, potatoes, link sausage, biscuits and gravy, as well as waffles. If they will keep the price of the stay below $80 a night, it's a great deal.

About two months ago, I stayed there with two co-workers, and everything was great, until we woke up to bites all over us. We took pictures and complained to the staff and management, but they didn't take us seriously. The hotel manager eventually called the police on us because we wanted our money back and would not leave. Terrible customer service and the bed bugs are a serious matter.

No complaints. You get what you pay for. Good for business travel. Not great for kids.

Very good hotel, is very clean and quite careful, and the food is very good.

When I book a hotel room for my business travel I am looking for a low rate for a clean room, a comfortable bed, and friendly, competent staff. This hotel delivers solidly on all points. It is a bonus that their complimentary breakfast is also one of the better ones I have encountered in budget hotels. They offer a waffle baking station, an assortment of fruits, pastries, yogurt, etc. And they also had warning bins with biscuits, gravy, grits, diced potatoes, eggs, and sausage. The dining area was clean and spacious. I will be booking this hotel again next time I am in Greenville.

A fine place to stay in a good location. Near lots of activities. Just not a lot of fancy add-ons.

This is a pretty typical Quality Inn. Rooms and office are in separate buildings. It was reasonably clean. Location is convenient, with a diner right next to the hotel.

The place seems decent. But when I came there to celebrate the life of somebody that's passed. They told us to quite down and even went to the measurement to try and kick us out. I'm disappointed in their results but I'm sure they are a great hotel in all!

Rooms are accessed from the outside. Close to the mall. Plenty of parking. Convenient location. Renovated rooms offering smoking and handicap accessible rooms. Offers continental breakfast.

Service at the hotel was quick and polite. Breakfast was your basic hot breakfast fare. Our door was having issues on our first day of our stay. Guest services sent someone down to look at, but it was never actually fixed.

The inn has lovely bedrooms although they are somewhat small, the television and bathroom are also quite small and the pillow cases did not appear to be fully washed.

When we booked at this hotel it was a Clarion. When we got there it was a Quality Inn. Bait and switch at its best! I have been a Choice Privileges member since the inception of the program and always stay at Choice Hotels (since 2016, 43 nights at Choice). When I made the reservations, I paid in advance thinking that I would get the guaranteed best rate. What a lie. I paid $64 per night average for 5 nights; made a reservation for an aunt a week later and paid $71 per night for her room. I was ok with that. I recommended to TEN family members that we stay here. The week before, another family member made a reservation and got a rate of $54 per night. I called to speak with Choice Privileges concierge services (what a joke (and was referred to Choice Guest Services who referred me to he hotel. I spoke with a nasty, rude woman who said she was the manager but refused to give me her name. When I checked in I asked if there was a female manager and was told no. I wrote a letter to the CEO's office (on a piece of paper, put in an envelope, with a stamp everything) and received a FORM email reply. Basically, because I paid in advance there would be not rate changes regardless of how long I have been a customer. I them posted on Twiter and Facebook about my experience (my very first tweet! ) with the hashtag I also checked with Consumer Reports and Better Business Bureau an discovered that the BBB rating for Choice Hotels is F (their lowest rating).

My father in law was in the hospital with a brain tumor about to undergo surgery. I frantically made a reservation online through Expedia so my husband could be there. In my stress I made it for the wrong week. I called the hotel, they said call Expedia which I did. Expedia got in touch with the hotel and the hotel agreed that if I paid the more expensive rate for that night, they would refund me for the date I reserved in error. I agreed. Two weeks later I still had not received my credit so I called the hotel. They told me no one there would have said that they would refund the money because it was non-refundable. (Called me a liar). I explained everyrhing rhat transpired and they said no. I called Expedia and they looked it up in their notes and saw where the hotel agreed to the refund for the cheaper night. They called the hotel several times telling them they had proof that the hotel had agreed to the refund. The hotel still refuses to issue the refund even though they said they would. Now my family is out money that we really cannot afford to be without. I canot believe they went back on their word. I will NEVER stay in their hotel or any hotel affiliated with them EVER again.

Nice motel with clean rooms, good cable TV and Wi-Fi. Hot breakfast is better than one might expect… eggs, sausage, potatoes and biscuits and gravy. Coffee is ok too. Friendly staff and abundant parking.

Located near the Haywood mall, easy accessible, the hotel is neat, clean looks new and provide you great hospitality. The hotel owner Mr Harry is very helpful and will guide you through out your stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Big parking space, swimming pool, Laudary room etc. Everything about this place is great.

The lady that checked us in was the rudest person I have ever experienced at any business ever. It was unbelievable. Rooms were nice and the breakfast was good. I would have rated it higher if not for the person checking us in.

The hotel staff were nice and friendly. The parking lot was clean. We didn't hear a lot of noise throughout our stay so the atmosphere was peaceful. We enjoyed the beautiful sitting area downstairs on the walkway and the bridge-type walkway, that leads to the lobby, makes the walk to breakfast a pleasant one. The showers were hot & had great water pressure. Our room could have been cleaned a lot better than it was. Upon arrival, there was an empty drink bottle beside our bed. There was also small pieces of confetti in the living room floor as well as some old staining on the bed's mattress cover. The breakfast was plentiful but the quality could've been a little better. There was a lot of variety and the bar was well stocked the entire time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Clarion! :)

Clarion is affordable and comfortable as we bring our son back to college. Room was clean, good hot breakfast in a recently remodeled dining room, and convenient to Bob Jones University. Have stayed here several times before and will plan to stay again in the future.

The two guys at the front desk were super friendly and even offered some advice on where to view the eclipse. They brought us a crib free-of-charge. Our room was totally perfect. Everything clean and tidy. I think we had one of the best rooms for the pool and the laundry. Their Wi-Fi was super fast (free! ) and reliable. The pool was clean and fun. Breakfast was delicious (free! ) I was fearful that they would rent my room out for a hiked up price to someone else since demand was so ridiculous during the eclipse, but they were wonderful about everything. I will definitely stay here again if/when we return to Greenville.

Don't EVER stay here. The lady at the front desk in the morning might as well be the metaphor for horrible customer service. She is a troll, the worst customer service I've ever come across. DO NOT STAY HERE I'm not allowed to give bellow 1 star.

Room was clean and the staff were very friendly. Thought the price was a bit pricey. I had looked a few days before and the rooms were $64 when we were still in the planning stages of coming, but for some reason they jumped to $104, but overall I recommend this hotel.

Good location. The bed and pillows weren't comfortable and the shower liner needed to be cleaned. Every employee was super friendly and the breakfast was superb.

Great size rooms although the bathrooms are SOO small. The breakfast is good. The pool is nice. And the rooms are so clean very nice place.

The cleaning people will bust into your room at 8am in the morning so watch for that. When I talk to to the front desk the lady was very rude and did not care about how I felt like 8am was an unacceptable time to clean my room. When I asked to speak with the manager of course they were not there, but the lady assured me I would get a call from the manager later in the day. I'm still wating on that call… so not very customer friendly. The breakfast is not that great and the place very dirty. There is a ton of different hotels in the area and I would say you should choose anywhere but here.

The stay was great. Everything was clean & neat. The breakfast was good. Really liked the waffles. The lady at the desk was super nice. I'd definitely stay again.

The location is great lot if nice restaurants in the area the room is fresh and clean and smells good pretty good service all round nice place.

Its ok for the price jus nothing to write home about. Crappy TV but comfy beds. Breakfast sucks like every hotel.

So my girlfriend book us a room because our power went out yesterday morning about 10am because of the snow. So we get to the room about 1130-12 that afternoon to check-in and the nasty lookin lady at the front dest tell her check-in isn't until 3pm. So she ask the front desk lady was she person who book the room she said yes and she ask her why didn't she tell her that on the phone when she book it but my girlfriend didn't give her a chance to answer and said I'll see you at 3 and left out. When she gets back in the car we find another room closer and called back to cancel the room at the Clarion and the front desk lady tells her we can't do that and hung up so we turn around and go back to figure out why we can't get our money back somewhere we didn't stay nor sign any papers long story short they call the police saying we were cussing put us on no trespassing which we live in a house for 1yr don't think we would be staying in a hotel for any other reason mind you we had a young kid and cat in the car with us during a bad snow storm. Please dont stay at this terrible place the people there are very rude.

The house keeper apparently set the clock alarm to go off at Midnight at FULL VOLUME! Waking a Senior (or anyone of an age! ) like that is so stressful in can cause a heart attack!. NEVER stay at this motel. Also the coffee maker did not work, two electric outlets didn't work and you have to walk about a 1000 feet to go outside from the rooms to the Breakfast Bar! Absolutely no resolution from the hotel manager Harry Patel, or Clarion.

The hotel is located within walking distance to a mall. The rooms were very clean, and there offer complimentary Wi-Fi and a fabulous breakfast buffet for free. Will definitely stay they again when I go back to Greenville.

Super nice, clean and quiet rooms. I would recommend it to everyone!
