Staff was pleasant and helpful. Beautiful location with hiking trails. Unfortunately they are closing at the end of November for a 2 year renovation inside and out.

Recently stayed at Poconor Manor for a wedding. Two times we had called to have maintenance fix our toilet, both times a very nice man came to fix but after each time we still had issues with using the toilet. Fortunately for us we had family staying in the room next to us so we were able to use their bathroom. On our first night (Friday) the music from the wedding in the ballroom was so loud it felt like we were at the wedding. That didn't stop until after 11pm. The next morning you could hear every little noise coming from the hallway and the room next to us, even though it was just talking… the walls are paper thin. Ate the breakfast buffet 2 times both times the selection was limited it could be that is was after 9am maybe more selections were available earlier in the morning. This is the second time we have stayed here overall the staff was very nice, the conditions of the room even though dated were good. Resort just needs some TLC.

As a local that has been in and out of the manor for many years @ meals, spa, riding… I enjoy this hotel and its quantience. Few suggestions though. Spa is smelling very musty needs little TLC @ care… Lamp lighter lounge windows needed cleaning, and should be cracked open on nice days for ventilation. Food is always good. Staff is always friendly.

Kinda run down for the price you pay. Everything needs upgrading. Carpets were dirty, windows were drafty. Not worth the price you pay.

My husband and I checked in for an early anniversary celebration and we found the place to be very romantic. I loved the historic setting on top of the mountains. The drive on the way up is dotted with beautiful old houses with the large impressive century-old Manor at the end. Our room was elegantly appointed with an awesome view. Get the B&B package as the buffet breakfast is substantial and delicious and you can't beat the ambiance at the beautiful great room with the huge fireplace in front. We just moved into the area but we already recommended it to our son and daughter-in-law who will be visiting in a month. This will definitely be our "date" place for romantic dinners and weekend getaways!

Mother’s Day Brunch is always great here. They have a wide variety of food, all delicious huge selection of both breakfast and lunch items and the desserts are yummy!

The room was extremely small and the bathroom needed to be updated. There were no safety bars to get in or out of the tub. A sink with no vanity, I had to place my toiletries on the TV stand. The rooms however were clean and staff very friendly. Breakfast was good, but dinner in the lamplighter restaurant was very poor. A waiter took our order and disappeared. There was a waitress trying to take care of everyone in the room. People that came in after me were served before me. Really felt sorry the the young lady. I was very disappointed and feel a local motel probably would of been cheaper and more accommodating.

Good spot for the weekend. Rooms and general decor can use a big upgrade, though. Room door wouldn't close without having to slam it shut, bathroom door wouldn't latch at all. Curtains looked straight out of the mid-60s. Great location, needs a lot of modernizing.

First of all when you drive there's no one there to guide you to check in. Parking is limited sometimes. Nobody greeted while entering the hotel. Didn't receive $25 voucher even tho we were qualified for it. The spa was booked out. The shower had no pressure was either too hot or too cold. There is no jacuzzi. There's allot of other things to do such as a game room with pools and ping pong table. Indoor and outdoor pool with outdoor bar (also inside the motel). Room was service was good always on time. They have yoga, hiking, dining room, gym, a small shop (ice cream, pizza, etc), and other cool things to do each day if you want to join other groups.

The rooms were nice and the pool was nice but the hallways and lobby were terribly dirty. The carpet needs replaced and the furniture was pretty gross in the lobby. Otherwise everything else was nice. I think they should leave the pool open longer than 9pm, that was a huge disappointment. Most pools are open until 11. The food was average but the portions were so large we wasted half of it since there is no refrigerator in the room. The staff were hit or miss, but the man who was at the sports center desk was phenomenal. I don’t regret our stay, but there are some definite improvements that could be made to the property given the price of the rooms.

Our stay started rough — I did not realize how small the rooms were and we needed a much bigger room. I wasn't impressed with the customer service at first either — but it turned out to be just one person, the first person who checked us in. After talking about my concerns with the manager, they gave no hesitation in upgrading the room and addressing my concerns. The rooms have that classic feel, beds were comfortable, staff ended up being very pleasant, polite, and attentive. The restaurants are amazing, but a bit pricey. Overall, a very nice stay.

I have never left a bad review anywhere online before but this is by far the most disgusting, dirty place I have ever stayed in my life. Upon checking in, an employee says to the gentleman behind the desk helping us “spit on it” when he was having trouble getting our room key to process in the machine they use. The other lady behind the desk did apologize to me after I said “please don’t”. I made my children sleep on towels, because we were so grossed out by how dirty the room and linens were. We used our bottle water to brush our teeth. We would have left upon check-in had it not been late and dark. We complained to the manager the next morning that we hardly slept and that we heard fighting, laughing, and talking outside our window all night which overlooked the entrance (and this room was what the classify as an upgraded room) and she responded by asking if our window was opened which it was not. There was a domestic dispute on the floor above us that resulted in the police being called. The manager offered me a 15% discount which I declined because she was so nasty when we were discussing the situation and it was not about the money we spent. She basically
blamed me because I didn’t complain about the dirty rooms and noise in the middle of the night because I didn’t complain to the front desk. I didn’t even think to call the front desk to complain because I never have been in this situation before.

Cannot deny resort is in an amazing location but if only it had updated decor, this review would be much different. Receives 3 stars because your employees with Blue Shirts are very kind and helpful, location and Bed was surprisingly comfortable even though we hate soft beds. Front desk wasn’t too much, they need to explain in a bit more detail how to use amenities. The MUSTY smell from the historical carpets needs to be fixed. No one cares about “quirky” or “character. ” The people want comfort & cleanliness! Oh and the walls, I read the reviews below me which mentioned it. The walls are super thin, can’t really watch TV too loud and yes, we heard next door having sex. Sex is good, sex is fun, but I don’t want to hear it as I’m trying to sleep. It’s like they are right there with you The pool felt dirty so we never swam, that goes for the outdoor too. Indoor pool appears nice in my pic, but in person there was a haze and there was no water filter to keep the water flowing. You guys need an investment infusion so you can update because the “historical” angle wears thin very quickly as you can see. Good luck but we won’t be returning. Thank you! P. S. Staff is friendly. A great experience. For being higher rated I expected better service and better value of food for breakfast buffet since this is a resort. Food was cold and tasted the same if worst than fast food. Room was changed when we arrived. On the phone we were told queen bed with microwave and small fridge. We ended up with 2 double beds no fridge no microwave. All in all we made the best of it.

TL;DR: This vacation best suits someone who lives in the city and wants a quick 3 days to escape into the wilderness with easy access for people unfamiliar with the activities on the resort, such as fishing or hiking. The overall service is terrible, there is no night life in and outside of the resort area and it feels as if you need to be a pain in the ass to the faculty to get most of the other activities done. Activities: The best: The people working at the horseback range were very passionate about their job and the trail is lengthy, feels like a full experience. We did not play golf but the golf course was taken care of and well managed, to supplement people such as us who didn't play golf the driving range was satisfactory and entertaining. The mediocre/not so impressive: Activities such as archery, BB gun shooting, field activities such as can jam, are very casually managed. The archery field consists of four large stationary hay bags a short distance from the sports resort and the BB gun targets are just stationary cans hanging from a string. The person running the sports activities manor just nonchalantly gave us the guns/bow and arrow and pointed us in the direction of the field. The hiking trails are short, about a mile and a half and there are only two of them. The bad: The gun range/clay pigeon shooting was unavailable (nothing too awful about this, but still just sucked).

Not very accommodating. Was told that air conditioning wasn't working well due to a power outage. Once power was restored, was told by maintenance staff that air conditioning would not work as well due to vacant rooms around our room. Room was not ready when we arrived at 4 p. M. And nobody greeted us at the door or front desk. Front desk staff seemed very unorganized and tried to charge me for breakfast when I had already purchased a breakfast plan. The breakfast was not good at all, but was refunded for that. Housekeeping emptied our trash cans and that is it. No cleaning, no new shampoo bottles. Wanted to get a bath, but there was no stopper to stop the water going down the drain. Overall, there are many things that need to be improved and I can't see myself ever coming back again.

This place is great! The old timey (1950s? ) music playing in the lobby really sold how historic and charming this place is. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The burgers at the Lamplighter Lounge were delicious and while we ate we watched a baby deer play with its mother in the meadow outside the window. We only got to stay for one night, so we didn't get to enjoy any of the amenities, but it looks like there is a lot to do without having to leave the resort.

Rooms were very clean and services were wonderful! The staff has been very helpful with all of our needs. There is always something to do here and my wife and I have had a wonderful time here.

The Pocono Manor Resort & Spa ballroom was perfect for a wedding reception. The room is all hardwood and had more than enough room to dance. Dinner stations were set up outside the ballroom in a small area, which got slightly crowded at the beginning of dinner. Cocktail hour was held in a separate location with access to a beautiful outdoor area. The double queen hotel room was spacious and clean and was conveniently located in the same building as the ballroom. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with many offerings.

Great spa day and fun mom and daughter day! The facility is beautiful and very quiet and serene. We had access to the steam room and shower throughout the day and the quiet room was stocked with various teas and spa water. We each had 90 minute massages which were superb. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing spa day or weekend. Definitely will be returning in the future!

There is not very good room service. There's no good cleaning either.

Security at this place stole my phone charger from me. The head of security and the manager both agreed it happened, but said that they couldn’t do anything, it was actually quite funny. Other than that it’s a nice place. Most of the staff are lovely and the food is decent! If it wasn’t for that fella stealing property from guests I’d give it a 5 star!

Spacious private grounds with multiple indoor and outdoor amenities and activities. The staff was awesome and the value for the accommodations is good. The tower room we stayed in was tastefully appointed, spacious and gave us a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain ranges. The hotel has a classy vintage appeal and (as another review stated) the halls feel like those from The Shining movie. Had a huge calzone from the pizzeria while enjoying a couple adult beverages at the lounge. If the room had included basics like mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker I would have given a 5 star.

If you like historic hotels with a lot of outdoor activities, this hotel may be for you. For the outdoor enthusiast, there's horseback riding, archery, trap shooting, pistol shooting, snowmobiling, and even dog sledding during the Winter months. The hotel was built in 1902 and has a lot of historic photos and artifacts displayed throughout. The main hotel building is very majestic inside with a lot of intricate architectural detail including wainscotting walls throughout. As you walk through the hallways, it does have that musty smell as if ghosts live there. It even feels like you are walking through the corridors of that hotel featured in The Shining. There's a lot of indoor family activities as well such as a small theater, game room, and many places to lounge around and play family board games. This place is so big it even has it's own little post office. There is an indoor pool at the lower level, but you must keep an eye on your kids since there's no lifeguard. Outside of the main hotel building, there are several smaller hotel units. These units have nothing special inside of them, just plain white rooms that kind of look, feel, and smell old. This place is on the list of National Historic Landmarks, so it does have a nice historic feel to it. During the Summer, they uncover a large outdoor pool. For the price ($90), I thought it was worth it. If hotels with an old feeling, smell and look to them is not your thing, go elsewhere.

Nice rooms, clean and spacious. Kinda sad the bar didn't ever seem to be open! Perfect location though and lots included in the resort fee. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food but had a massage and a deep soak and it was amazing! Best massage I've ever had and wasn't too expensive. Definitely going back!

Love this place. We come here every year and will be back next year too. Each year we have an absolute great time with different memories made each year. Was glad to see some of the improvements the place made last year with the gift shop and the pizza/ice cream shop. Unfortunately this year the gift shop was gone (moved down the road to the sports club) and the breakfast buffet was terrible. There used to be an omelet station and a larger selection. This year I got a few slabs of bacon and they weren't even cooked. Cold and raw. I hope this isn't a sign of the direction this place is headed because my family truly loves it here. But there are tons of things to do here and the sports club is a great spot to spend a few hours. Love the multiple fireplaces and laid back lodge feel. A historical place with great character and our annual ski trip home base.

Our stay was wildly mediocre. Food on campus was not that great for the price & the staff for the most part was extremely unhelpful. We asked about the shuttle, received a sheet with times and no other info. After waiting for the shuttle for 15 minutes we asked the front desk about it again and they responded with "oh you have to ask for the shuttle" … That would have been nice to know in the first place. The staff in general seemed unwelcoming and that they did not care too much about guest happiness. I heard from multiple different guests in passing that they were not as pleased as they hoped they would be. The room was ok and clean but had a weird smell. The walls are thin so we could constantly hear the couple in the room next to us speaking. I still have not received a refund for the "hold" they put on your room upon arrival… which is also a completely unnecessary hold in my opinion. The spa experience was nice and enjoyable however, with lovely staff and great hospitality skills. We will definitely return to the Poconos but will not book another stay at Pocono Manor.

The room was spacious, more than enough working power outlets, and mostly genuinely friendly/ helpful staff. Some of the equipment wasn't in good repair (Billiards and poker tables) probably due to other guests, but still plenty of other options available. The food was plentiful and delicious as well with a healthy variety as well. I only had 1 issue with staff I felt could have been handled better. We had a few issues with our vehicle on the ride in and I asked the front desk staff member if they had a zip tie, I was simply told no. Granted, there may not have been one at the desk at the moment, but there were no options provided like checking with anyone else, alternative solutions, etc. We wound up finding another way to get the car issue resolved, with little thanks to this particular member. Outside of that it was a very pleasant experience overall.

Came here on the Friday evening before Christmas Eve for the Christmas "special", place was dead! Everything is ridiculously expensive but we were willing to spend to have a good time with our son doing crafts, having a glass of wine, etc… The employees just seem disinterested in the whole thing, they looked bummed out as a matter of fact. The big and potentially beautiful fire pit was not lit for the second year in a row, this was a big reason we drove up. They shut down the horse carriage ride more than an hour early before closing. It's a shame what this place has become. I blame it on the quality of employees which in turn is a product of management which is a product of the pay grade which is a product of the lack of business which is a product of the quality of the local residents and the quality of life in general of the modern Poconos etc. We will not be returning in 2018 after coming here for years.

Such a great place, that classic style. Elegant and refined with a touch of class and sophistication. The Lamplighter Lounge restaurant / bar has the same elegant feel and style. Thank you Amy S. Quaint little place, perfect for weekend getaways from NYC. Great night rates and packages. Save a little by going out for your meals. Had the breakfast buffet one morning. Food was good, but four adults and two children resulted in a higher than expected bill for the day's first meal. There aren't a great many options for food outside of the resort, only a few, but they are there. Got a Philly from the bar, good money. Gym, game room (pool tables need work) and arcade available. Indoor pool is cool. BB gun shooting, archery available for a pretty good price. Petting zoo for the kids. Golf, fishing in the summer, ice skating when the pond freezes, Check it out, good fun, but don't expect the Ritz. This is a nice cozy place.

This place takes me back to another time and place. It is so beautiful, so quaint. There's many things to do and see. The ambiance is one of comfort and relaxation. The staff is warm and friendly, the restaurants in-house a plus. I recommend it and will be back.

The movie room uses chairs that makes one want to stand. All the while they have completely empty rooms with perfectly comfortable chairs. Enough on that. The children run wild throughout the property which makes the experience very challenging, to say the least. The rooms are adequate but nothing to write home about. On the other hand the property is well situated.

We booked this online. We've stayed in hotels all over the country and this is one place we would never stay at again. The staff was wonderful! That said, the first room they put us in was so bad they had to give us a different room and take that one off the market. Window didn't close, leaves on the floor, toilet tipped off the floor, curtains didn't close, phone didn't work and that was all after we carried our suitcases up to the second floor because they didn't have an elevator. When they moved us to the main building to a room, there was an elevator. The rooms are so outdated. Pedestal sink in the tiny bathroom, no place to put your bathroom bag. 2 very uncomfortable double beds (you could feel the springs in places). Very noisy hallways even during the night. The parking is atrocious! We ended up parking in a no parking area because there was absolutely no place to park. Then walk in the pouring rain uphill (thank God it wasn't snow because it would have been icey too) about 2 blocks with no sidewalks or anything to get undercover. Just an old overrated, overpriced place to stay. Probably pretty area in the autumn but that doesn't fix the buildings or rooms.

Recently on 10/21-10/22 I decided to take my wife away on a nice relaxing weekend getaway for our wedding anniversary. So I decided on Pocono manor resort and spa… WOW what a huge mistake I made! On 10/22 (the day of our anniversary) I went to load the car up with our luggage and goods and noticed my car was broken into and window smashed out and several things stolen and car had been ransacked! The rear window had been shattered and someone had actually popped my hood and disconnected my battery terminal so my alarm would not sound! Now this is and advertised secluded resort tucked away in the mountains of the Poconos. At first conversation with the front office Julia Perry (front office and reservations manager) she was very apologetic and stated that the hotel would make things right! She then handed me a card and asked me to call Dan Harris the general manager of the hotel, which I did immediately and it took a couple days for Dan to return my call. When Dan Harris called me back he was also apologetic then he hands me off another phone number to speak to a Linda Lee at the resort that could helpl me so after 2 more days of phone calls I was able to get a hold of Dan Harris again to tell him I have not heard back from a Linda Lee.

Reading some of the other reviews before I got there really alarmed me and I didn’t know what to expect. Coming from the hospitality industry for 10 years you know reviews can be extremely biased and I went to see for myself. At checkin there was some confusion with my reservation which was taken care of quickly. All the staff I encountered was very helpful and friendly, especially Andrew in the dining area. I don’t know if he was our server but he quickly jumped in when he saw us sitting there with such great kindness! The room is so quaint, but the room is just a room! You have to realize you’re there for so much more than to be in a room the whole time. There’s so much on the property to do and around the area. I wish I had more time to explore. My experience was great and hope others can look past the other reviews like I did to see this one of a kind resort. Thank you for the great weekend!

Loved our stay! Excellent service. Facilities are a little dated, but overall very good. Beautiful area, great amenities. Spa services are expensive, so we didn't get anything from there. Breakfast was amazing!

Beware. The setting is true to the images. Beautiful. The staff and management do not match the images. There is only one bar and it is inconsistently operating. The staff is unapologetic about services and venues not being operational. They are very comfortable and easily say that is broken, or it will be another hour until the bar will be open. Staff calls off and there is no backup so guests suffer. Not the level staff for this level of advertised resort and spa. Our TV in our room is operational only with an extension cord to an outlet that actually worked. The faucet in the bathroom leaked constantly. The shower did not drain. The air conditioning in the bar did not work. Another "no that's broken" not even a sorry. The shuttle to the casino that is advertised is "not working" forcing guests to drive or take and Uber on their own dime when they planned for and expected a shuttle. Very disappointing experience for my bachlorette party. I feel terrible for the weddings that book here if this is the service they receive. In a short this Management's sorry, not sorry attitude brings this to a very generous two stars. The only reason I gave them two not one star is because the bartender did offer to bring us drinks before they opened. Which we where charged for. No comp. Sorry, not sorry. Spend your money elsewhere.

This place is really old and dingy. Rooms are subpar. The elevators are extremely slow, and there was only one working during our stay. Food is average. Breakfast was nice (large buffet) but was a madhouse with so many people. Nice surroundings and views. If they modernize and update their accommodations, it'll be good. Parking can be a problem and have to go far from the tower.

This place is phenomenal. Great place for a quick get away. Lots to do with the family. Great restaurants in the near area. Beautiful golf course. Hospitality was above and beyond. If you wanna relax this is the place to go.

A decent place to stay for a decent price. This hotel was built in the early 1900s and is largely untouched except for some modernizations. The pool area is nice, but you may want to bring your own towel because the ones they provide are like small dish towels. The web site says they have 3 restaurants at the resort, but only one was open when I was there (a bar/pub). Better dining options can be found at the casino which is a few miles away. There is a shuttle from the hotel to the casino and back, but that van is also the maintenance vehicle… so if there is a maintenance emergency, the shuttle may not be available.

This is a quaint old building with lots of history. It seems to go on forever and has lots of nooks and crannies to explore! The exterior is as interesting as the outside and includes an outdoor pool and patio where events such as weddings can be held. The rooms are quaint and comfortable. The food and the staff are both excellent!

Lots to do, indoor & outdoor, on property. The sports area was convenient and the people running the stable were very nice. We enjoyed the outdoor pool since the weather was fantastic. But the towels were the size of dishtowels. You'd be better off bringing your own. There was a nice trail to a mini waterfall. However, hotel is old & has it's quirks. We stayed at the lodge, which is just feet from the main hotel. We could hear the conversations of the people above us & their baby crying. There were also quite a few areas that needed maintenance — — — the pool surrounding walking area need patching and sweeping — the table tennis paddles were practically splinters — no cover or handle. And parking was rough. We took their shuttle to Mount Airy Casino which turned out to be quite reliable. Considering the rate and the number of things to do, I would recommend it. But if you're "high maintenance ", you may have a few issues.

Very nice location and the resort had a lot to do. We stayed overnight just to get away from the usual beach grind. I thought the building looked great. Lots of seating places all over and even a theater and live jazz on Saturdays (we came on a Sunday unfortunately). My down side was the rooms. The kids found a goldfish on the floor, and a dust ball in the drawer next to the bible. And I saw greasy nasty hair all over a very dirty looking bathroom floor. I won't mention all the spiders on the outside of our windows but it does make you go ewwww. We stayed in "The Tower" which is supposed to be the better spot with a mountain view. The buffet dinner and breakfast were really disappointing, I mean you have a captive clientele so why not at least make the dining experience match the high price. There were other issues like parking and sgowers that take forever to drain so do not have multiple people and be in a hurry. I am not sure we'll give this hotel a second chance to make a bad impression.

Very very unhappy… Horrible experience… Will never go again and wouldnt recommend anyone else to go… Very bad and trashy place. Staff is really rude and unfriendly… Thumbs down from me…

Nice rooms but could hear everything in hall ways. I stay in hotels weekly, never been to a hotel where the walls were so thin. Sink would not drain either and be ready to walk because of no parking.

Came here on a groupon deal. Thought was a steal for the price. On our second night there a water pipe broke on the floor above us and wound up flooding our room. Some of our possessions got soaked and I had a roof tile fall on me while trying to retrieve me things. The only comp management would give us was a bigger room and free breakfast. Otherwise it was an unremarkable stay. The water in the indoor pool was cold. The fitness center is a row of machines in the pool area. The game room consisted of a ping pong table, some arcade games, and a foosball table. There's also a movie showing at night. Food was ok. There's a buffet breakfast and dinner on one side. Then there's a really nice upscale spot that we did not try. And then the diner looking area which messed up my order. Due to the extreme cold there wasn't much we could do outside. I may reconsider coming back but in warmer weather.

The inn is amazing. The staff was very helpful and the area was quiet. I stayed in the lodge that could allow dogs since I had a mini poodle with me and the rooms were small. They were not as luxurious as the main hotel but it did the job. They have a breakfast buffet that is amazing as well as the drinks at the bar which is open late. I didnt expect too much when I got here but since it was too cold for me to do anything I found comfort inside. I say this place is a must go with your family or dog just for a getaway.

This was our first stay at The Inn and we loved it. It was like a secluded getaway. The staff was cordial and accommodating and the rooms were neat and clean. Our Family Reunion was only enhanced by the environment.

Loved our stay! Rooms are very large and accommodating! This is an older hotel with tons of class and charm! I really enjoyed my time and wish we could have stayed a few more nights. It's the little things like the free apples placed in a wooden container waiting to serve guests as well as the comfy couches and large lounge areas and a onsite spa that completes the experience. We used the indoor pool, the outdoor pool and did a couple of the activities. We are considering going this coming December for some of the Holiday Festivities. Guys! Don't forget to get the B&B as a package so you can enjoy the fabulous breakfast. There were at least 50 choices, a carving station one day, and a chef preparing omelettes the next day.

The Inn met our expectations. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast selections were great. The outdoor pools had too much debris, especially the childrens' pool. We'll be happy to visit your facility in the future.

I found the Inn as an extension to my vacation. I was looking for a place that was pet friendly. When I got to the Inn I was greeted by Jessica with an amazing big smile and warm personality. She checked us in very quickly and she gave my partner and myself a welcome doggy bag. My partner and I were surprised and we both thought it was wonderful that not only were we welcome at the inn so were are other family members :) The only issue I had with the room was that it was two full size beds and it was not very conducive to my partner and I, and there was not a fridge or mini fridge in the room. Because this was an extension to our vacation we had food that needed to be refrigerated. Unfortunately we had to toss a bunch of food because it went bad. Over all the grounds were really nice and well taken care of and my partner and my family will definitely be looking into returning to the Inn. Thank you for the wonderful end to our vacation.

My party consisted of 3 generations and we all found an activity that we enjoyed. The Inn is to be congratulated on making everything accesible for a handicap person — ramps and automatic doors — except access to the indoor pool. The buffet breakfast is great. I would go back as we all had a very positive experience.

My husband and I stayed at Pocono Manor for one Saturday night to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We had never been to the Poconos before. The Inn at Pocono Manor was a great spot to celebrate and we will probably eventually return again. The grounds are very pretty and the historical charm greets you immediately. We had a hard time finding the resort at first because if you enter from one side there is no road sign to tell you where to go, but look for the haunted candle shop and turn after that! We got there an hour before check in and had no problems going to our room. We had a very pretty view in our 1 king room. The bed was pretty, super comfortable, and there are cute touches like a rought iron mirror. We decided to go for a hike and took the walk to the waterfall. It was an easy trail and was fun looking at the vacation homes on the way. The waterfall is very pretty. When we returned to our room, we were kind of lounging around and heard very loud music beneath us. After awhile it didn't stop and we concluded we were right over the pub. We have four kids ranging in age from 1 year old twins to a 6 year old and were here hoping for rest so we called down to ask if this music would be playing late. They said until 12am and since we figured we would be up until then anyway we thought we would just stay put so we didin't have to repack everything and move. Shortly after, someone called back and offered us a different larger room that would be more quiet.

I went for a quick weekend getaway with the family and we had a great time! We loved the warm country feel of the Inn and the numerous lounge areas with comfy couches and fireplaces. The in-door pool was big and the breakfast buffet was amazing! We rented the snow mobiles and loved that it was right on the property. It's literally 5 minutes to the shooting range, Mount Airy Casino, the antique and candle shops and a fabulous Hibachi restaurant, Desaki. I am DEFINITELY going back this summer.

Our first trip to Mount Poconos would not have been so memorable if we would not have stayed at The Inn at Pocono Manor. The hotel interior ambiance is in itself a very pleasing decor. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was well kept, very clean and free of any unwanted odor. The breakfast was healthy and delicious with endless options to choose from (even for vegetarians). We truly recommend it.

This place is great! Big, beautiful, nice staff, quick service, beautiful grounds. Rooms were spacious, newly renovated, clean and comfortable. We only stayed for the night but hope to go back soon.
