I left and item in the room. 3rd shift staff person was rude, told me if it was important to me I would not have forgotten it. Said nothing he could do. That it is not their responsibility. He said would leave a note for the staff for the next day. Worse hospitality service.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and pet friendly.

Awesome clean and over all I highly recommend anyone to stay here.

I have stayed here for the past month while working and love the service and the employees here they make you feel right at home tons of food choices in the area and Walmart and target are close by and thanks to Kristi who always checks me in and always a big smile and very helpful and if you read some comments below check in isn’t until 3pm not 2 or 230 this place is always busy because of how well they treat you.

Didn’t have rooms ready for multiple people at 2:30 when check in was at 2. Safe wasn’t working. No lock on bathroom door and card keys barley worked in door to unlock door.

Paid for the upgraded too. To include fridge, microwave and, hair dryer. Front desk was aware yesterday no hair dryer in room was told they would send down. I told would pick up when I returned to be told all hair dryers are out to people. Saturday morning sent my husband for hair dryer while showering and he was told they lied they do not provide, haor dryers… so it is winter and, walking outside with wet head of hair. If they were honest when I first booked would have just tool mine, from home.

Not to bad actually. Bathrooms were clean and room did not smell badly. For the price, I'd probably stay here again.

Easily accessible, close to restaurants, banks, shopping and Parx Racino if interested. The place itself isn't bad at all for an inn. Luckily, my room was clean with basic amenities. Stayed for two nights with no problem and the price was right. Best of all, our little family member (maltese) can stay! … Only gripe is associated with neighbor on second night. Two adults/4 children unruly as heck. Our tiny Maltese is better behaved (not a peep).

The rooms are really nice and clean at this location. Also can't beat the price and they're always having deals. Bang for your buck!

They could keep my key card set to open my room for more than one night. I was there a week. It was okay they kept it clean inside and out. It is hard to get in and out off the highway during certain periods. They were friendly, they do need better coffee.

Clean room, friendly staff, quiet even at full capacity. Room was a good size with a king size bed, microwave, fridge, safe. Good stay, decent value, just what you need for a night or two.

Room felt clean but small. There is a safe fee of $1.50/day you can ask to be removed from your bill. AC worked. Good enough to spend the night.

It suited our needs for a quiet place to sleep. Also pet friendly. There was only one clean and one dirty towel in the room. Asked for clean ones in the morning but never got.

Terrible hotel, people hanging out doing what ever they were doing. I checked in and their card system wouldn't accept my cards. Went to eat and had no problem with my credit card. Came back to hotel and people still standing around. I felt very uncomfortable so I checked out after only 2 hours in this hotel. The guy at the desk treated me fair and only charged me for 1 night which I think was fair, but I will NEVER go to another Red Roof Inn.

Room wasn't as clean as I expected. Found a gross qtip beside the bed. Good price for an average hotel. Just wish it felt cleaner.

Boyfriend and I got our room for the night and he found a legit bed bug in our bed! The manager assisted the reception desk to have our room changed to still fine another, yet bigger bed bug! This was a horrible inconvenience but fortunately got our refund for the trouble.

Well you get what you pay for… Rooms are clean. Got a nice hot bath and a warm bed. Nice flat screen TV not a old fashioned box TV. Im not complaining…

Everything was clean and working for the most part. Easy to check-in. Dude at the desk was pleasant and helpful. Only bad thing is no fridge in the room. That's a bit disrespectful.

Every time we went here they were clean and nice. Not a single problem with cleaning. Don’t have a fridge in the room so thats why only 4 stars. 4 hotels out of 5.

Horrible! Would never even attempt to stay again. I've stayed at a few Red Roof's in the past and loved it. Ricky was very nice but the service it self sucked. There was a couple in front that reserved but had no room. I was waiting for about 15 mins until they finally decided to leave being so upset. I get to the front they give me a key to my room and when I get there the key didn't work. After multiple attempts a naked man came to the window yelling. I was completely embarrassed. I went back down and before they could offer me another room I had already booked else ware. They cancelled and said I would be fully refunded withing 2 days and its now going on the 6th day with nothing. I've been trying to contact them and no one answers! So disappointed with this hotel.

Very good hotel, but don't have a microwave, or refrigerator, for longer stays it is a little difficult.

It snowed and we lost power. It was clean. Parking was difficult because people couldn't see where to park… no one's fault it's winter it snowed. For the price I got what I paid for.

No tell Motel. Ok, if you just need to rest, and get out. Nothing more than that.

If you need a place, and don't have anywhere else to go. This is what your left with. The overall room and accommodation is alright. The part that is worst and thankful you don't have to deal with that much is the rude, Front desk. Check-in was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. It's like your bothering them to do there job. If you don't want to do it go somewhere else or it literally doesn't make sense. We had a packaged delivered as we need to stay for a few weeks. They don't notify you and then act like it's an inconvenience… If you ask since we had a tracking on the package. The good part is the housekeeping staff and having a nice room during a difficult time.

Overall a decent experience for the price. Definitely not high quality accommodations, but you get what you pay for. Hate the bed, felt like concrete. But it had HBO, Was decently quiet and close to Philly.

For a cheaper rate and being just outside philly this was a very nice hotel, it is actually the nicest one out of all of the bld. Hotels, u just have to go up a extra few minutes which is worth it. Rooms are average but always clean, towels, TV & cable, Wi-Fi, mini fridge … balcony to smoke (I like a no smoking room even tho I smoke, just smoke on the balcony) nice staff and sweet maids. Great for the rate of only 70$ for a deluxe room for a night. Worth it!

Loud. Bad service, something below our room Water boiler broke and so loud, which was above office and front of main highway When we distinctly asked for a quite room in back which there was plenty of empty rooms. Dog in room next door barking. Shower wasn't working right. And an Oh well nothing we can do. It was a king suite. I needed freaking sleep and sanity from a rough sad month. I got none of that. And not even a sorry or break or a move to different room, when I asked We booked in advanced. Assholes that was my conclusion. 5 stays at these chains in 2 years. 2 descent stays out of 5 is bad.

If you aren't a nitwit and know how to find it using a GPS, Google Maps, street signs, and your own pair of goddam eyes — — an ode to some of my fellow reviewers here — — it's a solid, comfortable stay.

BEWARE! Found a USED NEEDLE in my room under the chair! Luckily I didn't get poked! But touching kust grossed me out. I found this when I was tossing the ball to my cat and it went under the chair … I then looked under the bed and found another needle cap. Along with random tissue paper and more. The CLEANING STAFF apparently does not look under or vacuum under beds. This could of been a child that found the needle, I'm posting this and saying if you do stay here inspect! The younger adults that work at the front desk are not friendly when it came to the matter. However, the manager was courteous and refunded us our money.

Kind of expensive not to have the basic microwave iron or refrigerator. Plus bathroom was not to pare needs a new bathtub. Rush stains on bottom. Good front desk customer service.

The Red Roof in is only accessible from a southbound side of route 1 if you are on the Northbound side exit 132 west to route 1 south. Then you arrive. To very unfriendly people that look down over their glasses and judge you. The Comfort in is much better.

Where do I start. When we first checked into our room, number 223, the room was not cleaned. The sheets were not changed, there were garbage on the floor, the previous person who stayed there left there jewelry in the room, my husband found it under one of the beds. So I contacted the front desk to let them know and requested a new room, a clean room. He was very nice and understanding. He gave us a new room, number 248. Before giving us the room key he checked the room to make sure it was cleaned. Before dragging my husband and children out again, I decided to go check on the room myself. The room was cleaned except for a few things here and there. The bed cover on one of the beds had a cigarette burnt hole in it, which was supposed to be a non smoking room. The bedsheets had stains on them and also the towels. The molding kept falling off and it looked like splattered blood on the ceiling by the bathroom, which my son noticed. The rooms did not have a refrigerator nor a microwave in it. We will definetly not be going back there and we will not recommend this place to any one we know. The guys at the front desk were very nice. It's just a shame that the cleaning staff lack the ability to clean.

Had to demand my first floor room, for handicapped person, that can not do stairs. Motel was informed of this when reservations where made. Then no waist basket or remote for TV in room. Had to go down and get them after I asked for them. They where never brought to the room as promised. Night desk click, not very friendly. This motel has gone downhill a lot in the last 2 years.

Decent enough room. Clean and spacious, but they should really consider getting better Internet if they expectt this many people to use it. You can't do anything with a. 5mbs download, considering that you need about 4mbs to stream at regular definition levels.

All staff was rude, there was no manager available to speak with when I was refused a room and I was told over the phone that I was rude when asking for help finding another hotel. Completely disappointed, red roof lost my business.

The manager is just not pleasant at all. They are very nasty people to deal with. The rooms are dirty.

STAY AWAY! Upon my arrival I was greeted with courteous staff, that was the only good thing about this place. As soon as my family and I walked in into the room we were hit by the smell of smoke and marijuana, although the entrance to the room said 100% smoke free! I figure we could still try to give it a shot, I sat on the edge of the bed I realized that they were burn marks on the comforter, it appears to be from cigarettes. I decided that I wanted to investigate a little further, so I pulled the covers back, just to find sheets what appeared to be that the sheets had not been changed, they were dirty and clearly reused without being washed. As I went to go pick up my bag from the floor I realized that there were cigar guts that are used to wrap marijuana under the bed. As I made my way into the bathroom, I found to the toilet filthy and the handle broken, that's when I decided that I had seen enough, I was not going to have my wife and my three-year-old stay in this room or this hotel. Stay away from this hotel that way you don't have the same experience as I did.

The location was a little difficulty to get to if you are not familiar with the area. We checked in and got to our room… Our AC was not working! We talked to the front desk. They were at capacity so they couldn't move us into another room until the next day. They did not charge us for that night. Everything else went great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and smelled nice. Ice and soda machines were conveniently located. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable.

Front desk came after 5 minutes acting very rude. It was 1 AM. He looks and act like he doesn't want to bother! As I walk to the front door a spider web cover up the left side of the door. Inside the room it was to not smell really bad and the temperature inside the room over 90. Also you can hear the traffic noise from the Blv. Don't get carry over by the pictures! Will never stay there again and I will never recommend to any one … Keep away every one!

Great price. Hotel has been renovated and rooms are spacious, king beds are highlight for this hotel. Clean and organised.

Good… the room was perfect size for three adults and two kids under four. We stayed in the second building and it was quiet for the two nights we stayed. Lastly the price was reasonable and it's dog friendly. Bad… the AC didn't work correctly, the staff at night was rude or didn't act like she liked her job. The hotel is tricky to get in to, there is no signs directing you to hotel. It is in between an entrance and exit. If you blink you will miss it. We did enjoy are stay so don't be turned off by the negative comments, if you have dogs and want a good place to stay go there.

Room was OK. Smelled a bit smokey, and the AC was wonky. Functional, though. Would probably stay there again since the rates were pretty reasonable.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The front desk rep didn't even explain what he needed me to sign during my check in. And they wanted to charge 1.50 to use a safe that is out dated. My thing is why do you feel as though we would need a safe? When did being over protective at a hotel become a thing? When did safety not become an amenity. Uncomfortable is the only way to explain this location. They don't make you feel at home and sure don't make you feel safe. If my wife and I didn't have a positive outlook on life this really could have ruined our Valentine's Day weekend. So intead of our 2 day stay we decided to make a romantic evening in the comfort of our own home. We know better next time.

Nice room comfortable bed reasonable price. Only problem was a light was out but that's no big deal.

Only issue I had was that the internet was down when I needed it the most (to upload a class assignment) other than that it's a really nice hotel. A bit confusing to get into at first (literally, you have to get on two different ramps to get into the hotel, and don't miss the entrance) Also I came in during the "stink bug" season. They're harmless and just hang around the windows and doors of the hotel, you might occasionally have one in your room, but they'll just hang in the corner. You can grab them and toss them outside, but be weary and don't kill them… They stink (hence the name) Haha, safe travels.

My husband, my daughter and I stayed 2 nights for sesame place and I cant complain other than the room smelling like cigarettes. The room is a little small but it was fit for us three. This was a good place to stay for a couple of nights right off of the interstate. They didn't clean the room in between nights we stayed but did give us new towels. It looked clean when we arrived and everything worked for the most part. The only problem was the Wi-Fi was such a weak signal I wouldn't depend on using it. If you're going to Sesame Place and don't want to spend a ton on a hotel this is a good place to stay it was about 12 minutes away from Sesame Place so it was very convenient for us.

Pros: Clean, plenty of space, management was accommodating (switched rooms upon request), quiet Cons: Limited TV channels, weird location/hard to get to Overall: Very nice for a $85 motel.

I enjoyed my stay at Red Roof Inn the rooms were updated very nice very clean the bed was very comfortable, all the staff was courteous and kind and the rate of the room was very reasonable $74 for something that Nice you can't beat it!. The bathroom is very small and the Wi-Fi is not the best. Overall, I will continue to come back everytime I visit philly.

The min me and my man pulled up I knew we were in for a long night. We kept hearing strange noise from the bathroom and to top it off There were shady ppl walking outside our door I feared for my life when some knocked on our door at 2 am. As soon as day light hit we left.

Friendly staff all perfectly fine and clean for the price I enjoyed staying at this place really convenient.

Would have given way more stars if the air conditioner didn't fall apart and if the house keeping would have knocked instead of just walking straight into the room. What if my girlfriend would have been getting dressed? like SERIOUSLY.

Was looking for an inexpensive hotel for valentine's weekend and found it at RR in PA-Trevose. Was pleasantly surprised — very clean, decent size room. Bathroom worked well, so did heat. Staff at desk was more than polite. Check out was a breeze. Would give it a 5 star but the room needed just a bit of TLC (peeling paint in a couple spots). Would definately stay here again.

This most recent experience with Red Roof Inn will be my last. I stayed at the Trevose PA location two times within a span of a week, as I had to travel to Philly for work. The first time I got in really late, and was given a room on the second floor. This chain loves to boast that it is 100% smoke free, yet My room reeked of cigarette smoke. In addition to being highly allergic to smoke, I also get very bad migraines when I smell smoke on an ongoing basis, and the chemical that they spray to try and cover up cigarette smell also gives me migraines. I had to call the lobby and get a different room. They didn't have any more rooms with king beds, so now I had to sleep in a double bed with my husband and our dog; NOT a comfortable night's sleep, but at least I didn't wake up with a migraine. The second time I stayed here was a few nights later. This time when I checked in I again made it explicitly clear that I needed a smoke-free room, not just a room that had been sprayed with chemicals to cover up smoke smell. I also requested a king bed. The employee happily told me that I had reserved a room with two double beds, so they couldn't accommodate me. I said, "but the last time I stayed here I was originally given a king bed". His comment was that since I had booked through a "third party" (aka hotwire), that he wasn't able to change the room to a king sized bed for me.

I stayed here a couple weeks for work. By no means is it luxury but nor should you be expecting in at a red roof inn. The room was always clean, towels fresh and comfortable. All in all it's a good value.

Checked into this hotel after a 16 hour drive. Front desk help was very nice and friendly. While at the front desk, I heard another customer letting staff know that his air conditioner didn't work. The room was what I would rate above average in cleanliness. The Inn filled up quickly that night, but things stayed quiet. My only complaint is that the air conditioner would only work for a short while then shut itself off. I worked with the timer button on it for a bit then gave up. Upon checkout, I notified the young man at the front desk and he kind of brushed the problem off. If the A/C had worked properly, I would have give them 4 stars for cleanliness and service.

Stayed here for 4 days on memorial day weekend. The place was still getting some renovation work done. The room was in excellent shape but was still outgassing some of the adhesives. A quick spray with some febreeze knocked that down. Would definitely stay again.
