Everything was great and turned out so fine than I expected. Room was nice and great view. Clean, quiet and well made for this spectacular views. Fitness room was great for gym addict like me. Acceptable dumbbell, treadmill, elliptical, ball and yoga matt. Staff was so nice and friendly to out visiting. Called us just to follow up right away when we got into room if everything was perfect for us. Can't wait to shout this out.

Very nice! From the service at the front desk, the clean room, clean and ample parking, and a nice breakfast. It is was also very quiet, which was a huge plus. I highly recommend!

Best service for the price! Nice amenities, smaller hotel, excellent hot breakfast that changes daily, fresh cookies in the evenings and great coffee always! The staff here are always friendly and care about service with a smile.

View from our room was really cute. Room itself was very nice, and new, and clean. You can't open the windows though. And don't get a room with a pullout sofa bed because the bed is crazy uncomfortable with springs sticking in your back. Why don't they get a foam pullout mattress? Also the blanket they give you is way too heavy, like something you'd need in Antartica so you're tossing all night long. This is the case with all Hampton Inns.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Fairly new, so everything was nice and in working order. The breakfast was amazing with both hot items and fresh fruit options. The shower was spacious with plenty of hot water and good pressure. Great night's sleep with super soft and cushy bed. Highly recommend!

So far its beeb excellent. The hotel staff is very polite and respectful. The rooms are very clean and well kept.

Came here with my mom about looking for a place to have my baby shower. The staff was very helpful in showing us the conference room and was so paitent (sp? ) with us! They didn't try rushing us or anything. Answered all questions that we had. See ya soon!

First time staying in Swansboro and Hampton Inn & Suites is nicely placed to be central to many tourist, military and vacation adventures. Five stars for cleanliness of room and guest areas, attention to guest requests, and timely manner to guest requests. Actually, I really didn't need to bother staff much. There was always someone attending the desk and floor, and were prepared to assist. All areas were roomy and pleasant. My only concern was the air quality and how the environment would trigger allergies. The elevators and halls would get humid and smelly. May = heat and pollen. Enjoy your stay!

Staff we're friendly, breakfast was delicious, and my room was clean. The King bed room is a little smaller than at other hotels, but it did the job. I'd stay here again.

This is our 2nd stay here and we were very pleased. The staff are all very nice and helpful, our room was nice, very clean and the complimentary breakfast was good.

Great place to stay while in town. The beds are comfortable and the Wi-Fi is free. The customer service at the front desk was very helpful and other then the elevator being forever slow, it is a great place for the price. Also not to far from the beach if you don't mind driving it. Though on the other hand your closer to shopping outlets and food. Either way you look at it I will gladly stay here again if given the choice. Thanks for having us.

Stayed overnight and room was great. Nice soft bed. Nice tile floor in bathroom. Customer service was outstanding. Nothing to say bad about the hotel I have stayed in. Breakfast was hot and tasty. It is the Best hotel I have ever stayed in. Will tell friends and family about this hotel! Will stay there next time I am area.

Under the worst of circumstances I needed to stay at this hotel this past Monday night. I was greeted when I came in by Aaron who said he had been waiting for my arrival, but that I could of taken as long as needed to check in. I was checked in an offered water or a snack, which I declined. I went to our room to drop off our belongings and headed to a family members house to grab a bite to eat, share a sad story, cry and laugh. Then back to the hotel were we rested for the night very comfortably. We awoke early to dress for the funeral service and headed down to breakfast, served in the breakfast hall. I believe the beautiful woman's name was Anne who offered to get us anything we needed. She went out of her way to supply the necessities for me to have a drink I wanted, carried one of my cups to the table for me, then stopped what she was doing to get us an address to the church, which was not part of her job. Breakfast was over but before she put anything up she came over to us asked if there was anything else we wanted or needed and that if we wanted anything just to knock on the door. Of course we were so full and needed nothing. As we loaded up to leave, the people at the front desk wished us well. Earl had worked here for years and I was floored by the comrodary and excellent service we received. I should mention no-one knew me or had seen me before and yet I was treated as family.

Very nice rooms and nice. Friendly staff. The rooms on the back have a good view. It has a full breakfast with fresh fruit. The omelettes are pre-made. The coffee is excellent. It is near the historic part of town which has wonderful restaurants. It is also near the public beach. There were a couple of minor glitches which they fixed immediately!

I'm a fan of all the Hilton brand hotels and particularly Hampton Inn for being economical but this location is exceptional. The staff has been incredibly friendly. It's one of the most attractive Hampton Inns I've stayed at (out of many). Breakfast was great.

Rooms as clean. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is an ordinary continental breakfast but is kept well stocked.

Two stars because it's someplace to stay other than your car and somewhat affordable compared to other options. Otherwise I'm not at all impressed with this hotel. The beds are very uncomfortable, the pillows are uncomfortable, the outdoor pool which is supposed to be maintained everyday is disgusting and dirty, both elevators feel and sound like they could fail at any time and are unsafe, the breakfast is subpar, my room still had somewhat dirty floors when we arrived… The list goes on. Not happy with how much I'm spending for the four nights that I'm here. I do not recommend this hotel.

I have stayed at this Hampton Inn a couple of times in the last year. I extended my stay in Emerald Isle after the hurricane last summer and the B&B in Cape Carteret I was staying at was booked so I moved over to the Hampton Inn who were so accommodating and allowed me to check in early. The staff were all incredibly friendly, the rooms had all been updated with a sophisticated modern decor, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! I am bringing my son this Friday for Mother's Day weekend and I already made my reservations at this Hampton Inn! Can't wait!

The suite was exactly what I needed as a working professional. The desk was spacious enough that all my tech fit with plenty of room for whatever I needed.

I was a recent employee at the Hampton Inn located in Swansboro NC. Let me tell you. Do not let the beautiful location and the idea of this being a " new hotel " fool you. The location is amazing and historic but the hotel itself is awful. I was recently hired by Karen Felix. The day of my hiring I was told to NOT listen to other housekeepers. That they weren't doing their jobs and that I would get " proper training". The first housekeeper she put me with I later found out had so many complaints on her for not doing her job. That was my proper training :/. Management admitted girls don't strip beds. So guest come in the hotel paying the type of money they do for beds that aren't even cleaned. I have seen housekeepers leave dirty duvets, sheets, pillow cases, shower curtains and towels in rooms after a previous guest has stayed. Since new management the hotel scores have dropped due to it being so grotesque. During a recent health inspection management staged 12 rooms for the inspector because the rooms are in bad shape and they didn't want the health inspector to pick just any room bc they would fail. Instead of letting certain people that have been there for years be in the position they deserve that do the job correctly the hotel is stuck with poor management and poor score's. I have seen a lot in my time of employment I can tell you that you are wasting your money. It looks nice on the outside but when you pay for a clean bed or room it's doubtful that you are getting it.

I normally don't rate anything 5 stars but Kathleen and the staff over at Swansboro Hampton Inn deserve the grade. I called the hotel enroute to ask a question and received such a courteous and informative response. Upon arrival to check in, Kathleen went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. She even provided us with information to a few neighborhood restaurants which were quite good as well. The room was clean and tidy. If ever in the area, I highly suggest you stay here. They even have a free breakfast spread on site 6-10am.

Used to stay in jacksonville when I was in town. This Hampton Inn blows the other hotels in the area of out the water. Good hot breakfast, very friendly staff, and the free drinks and snacks in the evening is awesome. Hampton Inn price for a place that feels closer to a real Hilton.

My family (plus a friend) stayed here for a last minute weekend vacation. The hotel is located close to the cute little waterfront downtown area of Swansboro and close enough to great beaches and night life. The hotel itself is clean and modern, and the suite was spacious (plenty of room for 5 people), but what sets this hotel apart is its staff. From the front desk staff to the maintenance crew everyone we interacted with was friendly, polite and went above and beyond to make sure we were having a great time.

Great Hampton Inn. I only stay at Hampton Inn. Never had a issue until this one. The desk staff is a bit lost. I was staying there for a Marine Corps Ball in the area. Our group rate was $89.00. Upon checking in there was a flyer stating “Stay with us for the Marine Corps Ball $79.00”. I told the trainee that I was staying there for the ball and wanted that rate. He looked at the flyer and continued checking me in. I got a manager and she looked at the flyer and said it was for 3 a night stay. I pointed out that the flyer stated, “Maximum” of 3 nights. Then she ignored me. I adjourned to my room and got a call from the desk stating that they upgraded me to a suite. However, I reserved a paid for a suite. I'm not sure how they upgraded me to a room that I was already standing in. After dropping my stuff off in my room and returning to the lobby the flyers were removed.
